INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE & SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
THE FOUR BASIC STEPS
STEP 1 – Plug the unit into an electrical outlet with the
appropriate voltage. Do not turn the unit on yet. It is
important that you NEVER operate the ultrasonic
cleaning machine unless there is water in the tank or
damage may occur.
STEP 2 – Add an appropriate mixture of tap water and any of
GEMORO’s specially formulated ultrasonic cleaning
solutions to the tank. Fill the tank to the MAX fill line as
marked on the rear of the tank wall.
STEP 3 – Place the jewelry to be cleaned in the supplied basket
and submerge it in the tank. It is important that you
NEVER place items directly on the tanks bottom or
damage may occur.
STEP 4 – Set the digital timer by pressing the “SET” button and
scrolling through the preset times of: 90, 180, 280,
380 and 480 seconds. Once you reach the desired
amount of cleaning time press the “ON” button to begin
the cleaning cycle. This process may be repeated if
additional cleaning time is required.
ELECTRICAL POWER INSTALLATION
Your GEMORO Powerful Ultrasonics model 1.2QT has been
factory tested for use. It operates with 110V/120V and a 50/60
Hz cycle. The 1.2QT is supplied with an ungrounded polarized
two-pronged plug, with one of the prongs being larger than the
other. NEVER attempt to modify the larger grounding prong
as an electrical shock or fire may occur! Insert the plug into an
electrical outlet receptacle, which has a ground default device
(GFI) for optimum safety operation. When possible, plug the
ultrasonic into a separate dedicated circuit/outlet.

WATER/SOLUTION MIXTURE USED IN ULTRASONIC TANK
To achieve the best cleaning results from your ultrasonic, the
proper cleaning solution must be added to the water in the tank.
Choose from the selection of specially formulated GEMORO
cleaning solutions for the ultimate cleaning experience.
WARNING: NEVER use flammable, acidic or ammonia-based
solutions in your ultrasonic.
CLEAN JEWELRY & MORE
Submerge the included basket containing your jewelry or
other items you wish to clean in the tank. Never place jewelry
or anything being cleaned directly on the bottom of the tank,
because it will cause pitting on the tank and damage the
transducer, while voiding the warranty. Not all items including
every type of jewelry or gemstones are suitable to be cleaned
in an ultrasonic. Consult an expert to confirm if the item may be
cleaned in an ultrasonic prior to cleaning.
IMPORTANT: BE CERTAIN TO ADD WATER AS IT EVAPORATES
FROM THE TANK, WHILE NOT ALLOWING THE WATER LEVEL
TO FALL BELOW THE MAX FILL MARK ON THE REAR OF THE
TANK WALL.
DEGASSING PERIOD FOR SOLUTION
Water that has not been “degassed” will cause the cavitation
(action) of the ultrasonic to appear very slow or flat. Depending
on the type of solution you are mixing with water in your
ultrasonic, the degassing time may vary from less than 5 minutes
to as much as 15 minutes depending upon factors such as
temperature and soap content. Degassing is the natural process
of removing gasses from any tank solution being affected by
ultrasonic sound waves. Degassing occurs whenever you first turn

on your ultrasonic with fresh water/solution in its tank and will
reoccur each time you add to or change your water or solution
mixture.
HELPFUL SUGGESTIONS & PRECAUTIONS
• Change the solution regularly.
• Clean the tank regularly.
• Keep the tank covered to avoid evaporation and reduce noise.
• For optimal cleaning, use any of the specially formulated
GEMORO cleaning solutions mixed with water.
• Operate the ultrasonic with the proper
level of water/solution in the tank.
• Allow adequate time for the degassing process
to occur to the water/solution in the tank.
• Always turn off and then unplug the ultrasonic
prior to emptying and cleaning its tank.
• Never allow jewelry or other items to be placed
directly on the bottom of the tank.
• Never use flammable, acidic or ammoniated liquids in the tank.
• Never operate the ultrasonic without water/solution in the tank.

WARRANTY
Congratulations on your purchase of the GEMORO Powerful
Ultrasonics Model 1.2QT. Your Model 1.2QT features a ONE YEAR
LIMITED WARRANTY. The applicable warranty period begins on
the date that your Model 1.2QT is purchased, as noted on the bill
of sale (if supplied) or through the Model 1.2QT serial number
tracking system, as interpreted by the factory (the “Warranty
Commencement Date”). The ONE YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY
begins on the Warranty Commencement Date and expires
one year thereafter (the “One Year Warranty Period”). During
the One Year Warranty Period, the Model 1.2QT is warranted
against defects in materials and workmanship under normal and
intended use. No warranty, of any kind or character, exists after
the expiration of the applicable One Year Warranty Period. If a
defect exists, at its option GEMORO will (1) repair the product
at no charge, using new or refurbished replacement parts, (2)
exchange the product with a product that is new or which has
been manufactured from new or serviceable used parts and is
at least functionally equivalent to the original product, (3) in
the event the Model 1.2QT is no longer available or has been
discontinued and warranty coverage is applicable, at the factory’s
sole discretion, a substantially equivalent ultrasonic cleaner may
be substituted in place of the defective Model 1.2QT or (4) refund
the purchase price of the product. A replacement product/part
assumes the remaining warranty of the original product from
the date of replacement or repair. When a product or part is
exchanged, any replacement item becomes your property and
the replaced item becomes GEMORO’s property. If and when a
refund is given, your product becomes GEMORO’s property. The
purchaser shall incur the cost for return postage, insurance and
handling for all warranty and non-warranty repairs. Warranty
repairs and/or replacements will be shipped back to the
customer FOB Destination to the location of the customer’s
choosing if within the Continental United States (U.S.).

FOB Factory. Should the customer require the repair and/
or replacement unit(s) to be shipped outside the Continental
U.S., the customer will be required to pay any related shipping
charges and any related taxes/duties for the respective
destination country, regardless whether it is a warranty or non-
warranty claim.
IMPORTANT DISCLAIMER: No warranties exist with respect
to the Model 1.2QT or its use other than those expressly
contained herein. All other warranties of any kind or character
whatsoever, whether expressed or implied, including warranties
of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, are hereby
disclaimed and are excluded from the warranties hereunder. In
the event that a claim is made with respect to the Model 1.2QT
or its use, the maximum liability of GEMORO, and its affiliates,
dealers and distributors shall be the amount paid for the Model
1.2QT.
