USER’S MANUAL
Precision LED
Moisture Meter
CARE AND MAINTENANCE:
1. The instrument has an accurate temperature compensation
function, but in a high temperature or high humidity
environment, it may produce diference or a wrong message.
2. The sensor (needles) is the electric conduction element of
connecting the measured material. In order to avoid damage to
the instrument and electric shock, when the measured material
has voltage or static electricity, please clear the voltage or cut
off the power and then go to measure.
3. Please push the two needles into the material at the same time
and keep them inserted for a while to get a more accurate value
reading.
4. For hard material, or if the material needs deep inspection,
please use the special needle (option).
5. To avoid an incorrect reading, if the low power symbol appears,
please replace the battery before using.
6. The sensor (needles) is the main element. If the sensor is
damaged or has other problems, please replace with a new one
to use continually.
7. When not in use, remove the battery from the instrument and put
and all its accessories into the protection case. Store the kit in a
dry, dust-free environment out of direct sunlight.
8. Please contact your local agent or our customer service
department for any question(s) or product repair.

5. If the material is difficult to reach or requires longer needles to
measure deeply, please connect the extension probes into the
right side socket to assist in operating.
The reading value of the ame object mea ured by either the
exten ion probe , or the needle i equal.
6. After operating, please remove the needles and press key to
turn off. Then, put instrument back into the protection case.
Thi in trument ha an auto-power off function. The in trument

LED DISPLAY FUNCTION:
1. The 70 uses a new type of LED with a power-save function,
high brightness, and quick response. It not only has a high DPI,
but also a multi-color indicator to show measurement of the
moisture percentage of material.
2. ulti-color indicator with LED range listed below
LED color Range oisture condition of material
Green 5.5 ~ 16% Normal - dry
Yellow 17% ~ 21% slightly over normal range
Red Over 22% wet, damp
REMARK: The di play value of thi in trument i et according to
the moi ture of wood or con truction material. When the MM70
i u ed to mea ure other material , the di play value
only repre ent the wood moi ture equivalent (%WME), it i
not actual moi ture.
3. ON (green LED below): Power on and LED lights.
4. Low Batt. (Top red LED): Flashes for low power warning.
CALIBRATION AND INSPECTION:
This instrument has been calibrated completely before ex-work, and it
can be operated steadily for a long time with normal use without
needing any adjustments. For special conditions, if the instrument
needs to be adjusted, it is recommended to use a small “flat-head”
screw driver to do fine adjustments on the right side “CAL”
potentiometer, or contact our technical department.
SIGNAL OUTPUT:
The 70 has an analog signal output function, and can be used to
connect the recorder/logger or other equipment. When the 70 is
used to constantly measure, it can be connected with the left output
socket under the instrument.
INTRODUCTION:
The 70 Precision LED oisture eter has an ergonomically-
designed shape and uses a new type of circuit design. It is highly
accurate, responds quickly, and has passed CE and RoHS electric
security and green regulatory.
APPLICATION:
The 70 can be used to measure the moisture (%) of wood,
architectural material and the moisture equivalent (%W E) of
most material. It is very practical for quality control and
management/inspection after-processing or before-processing, and
business trade.
PREPARATION:
1. Please check all equipment before using the instrument:
ain instrument 1 ea
Replacement needle screw 2 pcs
