MANUALLY OPENING DOOR
KEY HOLE ACCESS (driver door)
If the door does not open with
the door open button due to
battery discharge or vehicle
breakdown, pull the
emergency open lever under
the door pocket twice to open
the door. You may use the
emergency open lever even if
there is no problem with the
door open button.
Press the front part
1
of the door handle and pull out the door handle
from the right side. While holding the door handle, remove the cover that
covers the keyhole by pressing on the tab. Insert the mechanical key to
the lock.
To lock the door, turn the key toward the front (left side) of the vehicle. To
unlock, turn the key toward the rear (right side) of the vehicle.

allows the driver to have access to
personal information, unlock profile and
exit valet mode with an enrolled
fingerprint.
The Fingerprint reader is found in the
center console.

Fingerprint Setup
1. Turn on the vehicle.
2. Select ‘Setup > User Profile Settings > Driver 1 > Fingerprint Identification >
Set/Delete Fingerprint > Set’ in the infotainment system screen.
3. Place your finger that you wish to enroll on the fingerprint sensor according
to the instruction.
4. Following the instructions, place several parts of your fingerprint until the
scanning process is complete.
5. Once the scanning process is completed, the message ‘Saving
fingerprint….’ appears and the fingerprint enrollment process is proceeded.
6. When the fingerprint enrollment process is completed in the vehicle, the
status is displayed on the infotainment system.

Seating position, seatback angle and
cushion angle/height of the front
passenger seat can be adjusted by
operating the switches from the
driver’s seat.

1. While the Engine is ‘ON’, press the massage button on the driver’s Press

DRIVER SEAT MASSAGE FEATURE (if equipped)
SMART POSTURE ASSIST
Use the massage function to relax
after a long drive, or when resting
inside the vehicle.
After driving for an hour, Posture Assist automatically adjusts the pelvis
and back portion of the seat to assist the posture.
To turn off the Posture Assist when it is running, press the massage but
on the drivers door.
You can activate or deactivate Posture Assist function from the Settings
menu in the infotainment system screen.
Select:
Setup > Vehicle > Seat > Driver Seat > Ergo-
Motion Seat > Smart Posture Assist
1. While the Engine is ‘ON’, press the massage button on the driver’s
seat door to start the function. The light indicating massage intensity
level will illuminate.
2. Press the button again to set the intensity level.
• Each time you press the button, the intensity setting of the Massage
it is changed as follows: High > Medium > Low > OFF
• To stop the function, press the button multiple times until the
indicator light turns off.

warm the driver’s seat or front

each time will change it in the order Strong,
Medium, Light and Off.

Storing Memory Positions
1. Shift to P (Park) while the Start/Stop
button is in the ON position.
2. Adjust the driver's seat position,
outside rearview mirror position, and
head-up display height to the

Sunroof Operation
If your vehicle is equipped with a sunroof, you
can slide or tilt your sunroof with the sunroof
switch located on the overhead console.
The sunroof can only be operated when the
Engine ON. If the front door is open, the sunroof
cannot be operated for 3 minute period.
Front Power Sunshade
Use the power sunshade to block direct
sunlight coming through the sunroof glass.
The power sunshade can only be operated
when the vehicle is ON.
• Push the switch rearward, the power
sunshade automatically slides open.
• Push the switch forward, the power
sunshade automatically closes.
To stop the power sunshade at any point,
push the switch in any direction.
Rear Power Sunshade
Use rear power sunshade button to control
power sunshade.
1. It is recommended to perform with vehicle
in P (Park) ready mode.
2. Power sunshade should be fully closed. If
open, push the switch forward until the
power sunshade is fully closed and release
once closed.
3. Push the switch forward until the power
sunshade moves slightly, then release the
switch.
4. Once again push and hold the sunroof
switch forward until the power sunshade
and sunroof glass slide open and close. Do
not release the switch until the operation is
complete.
SUNROOF
Opening Power Trunk
With the smart key in your possession,
press either the trunk open button

Trunk Open/Close button

The hazard warning lights will blink
two times and the trunk will open.
POWER TRUNK

With the smart key in your
possession, when the trunk is open,

second. The trunk will close.
Power Trunk from Instrument Panel
When the trunk is closed, press the
power trunk open/close button, power
trunk will open with a warning sound.
While the trunk is opening, press the
button to stop power trunk operation.
When the trunk is opened, press and
hold the trunk open/close button to
close the power trunk. If you release
the button while the trunk is closing,
power trunk operation will stop with a
warning sound for 5 seconds.
Smart Trunk (if equipped)
On a vehicle equipped with a smart
key, the trunk can be opened with
hands-free activation using the
smart trunk system.

This vehicle is equipped with a special
beam pattern that helps achieving the
good road illumination distance while
protecting oncoming driver’s eye.
It is normal to see a certain dark spot
or pattern on the beam. Please refer
the beam pattern shape illustrated.
How to Use Smart Trunk
The hands-free smart trunk system
can be opened automatically when
the following conditions are met:
The smart trunk option is enabled
in the Settings menu in the
infotainment system screen.
The smart trunk is activated and
ready 15 seconds after all the
doors are closed and locked
The smart trunk will open when the
smart key is detected in the area
behind the vehicle for 3 seconds

Place the item in the UV-C storage box and turn it on. Within 10 minutes,
up to 99.9% of germs on the surface can be removed.
1. Open the UV-C storage box while the engine is running.
2. Press the button inside the storage box.
UV-C sterilizer system indicator light illuminates.
Antibacterial tray is ready to operate.
3. Place the item in the center inside the storage box and close the cover.
UV-C indicator light illuminates.
UV-C LED is turned on and sterilization begins.
After 10 minutes, the UV-C indicator light turns off as sterilization is
complete.
Press the UV-C sterilizer system button to turn off the function, after you
are finished using the system.

Two Way Communication
Some new garage door openers come equipped with a two-way
communication feature. If your garage door opener has this feature,
please also continue to follow the Rolling Code Programming steps
below. For more information and programming tips on two-way
communication please visit www. homelink.com/compatible/two-
waycommunication or call (800)-355-3515.
NOTE: If your garage door opener has Two-Way Communication
functionality, it is possible for HomeLink to stop functioning the garage
door shortly after initial programming, if the Two-Way Communication
Programming wasn’t properly completed. If you experience this,
completing the “Programming a New HomeLink Button” and “Two-Way
Communication Programming” will restore door operation.
Rolling Code Programming
•You may need a ladder to access your garage door opener.
•You may need help from a second person.
•Be prepared some of the steps are time sensitive.
1. Firmly press and release the “Learn”, "Smart”, or “ Program” button
of garage door opener on the ceiling while the indicator

flashes
in Green. Once the button is pressed, you have approximately 30
seconds to initiate the next step.
2. Return to the vehicle and firmly press the HomeLink button, hold for
two seconds and release the button up to three times. Do not press
the HomeLink button rapidly. At this point programming is complete
and your device should operate.

Driving Assist
Driving Assist view displays the status of the vehicle’s Driver
Assistance systems.
Map view Show map and navigation related information
Normal view Show trip computer or widget on center without

Press the illumination control button
to adjust the instrument cluster
brightness.
You can start the vehicle using the
Remote Start button on the smart key.
To start the vehicle remotely:
1. Press the door lock button on the
smart key within 32 feet (10 m) from
the vehicle.
2. Press the Remote Start button
for more than 2 seconds within 4
seconds after pressing the door lock
button. The hazard warning lights
will blink, and the engine will start.
3. To turn off the remote start function,
press the Remote Start button once.

REMOTE SMART PARKING ASSIST
Remote Operation
Remote Operation functions in the following order:
1. Getting ready to remotely move forward and backward
There are two ways to operate Remote Operation function.
Method 1, Using the function with engine off.
(1) Within a range from the vehicle press the door lock button on the smart
key and lock all doors.
(2) Press and hold the Remote Start button for 4 seconds until the engine
starts.
Method 2, Using the function with engine on.
(1) Park the vehicle in front of the space where you want to use Remote
Operation function and shift the gear to P (Park)(1).
(2) Press and hold the Parking/View (2) button to turn on Smart Parking
Assist. A message ‘Remote Parking Instructions’ will appear on the
infotainment system screen.
(3) Get out of the vehicle with the smart key and close all doors.

2. Remotely moving forward and backward
(1) Press and hold one of the Forward or Backward button on the smart
key. Remote Smart Parking Assist will automatically control the steering
wheel, vehicle speed and gearshift. The vehicle will move in the direction
of the button pressed.
(2) While Remote Operation function is operating, if you do not hold down
the Forward or Backward button, the vehicle will stop, and function
control will pause. The function will start operating again when the
button is pressed and held again.
(3) When the vehicle reaches the target location, release the smart key
Forward or Backward button.
(4) When the driver gets in the vehicle with the smart key, a message will
appear informing the driver Remote Operation function is complete on
the infotainment system screen and the engine will remain on.
In addition, when the Remote Start button is pressed on the smart key
from outside the vehicle, a message will appear informing the driver
Remote Operation function is complete and the engine will turn off.

in parking by allowing the driver to

Air suspension uses the air
spring containing compressed
air to adjust and maintain the
vertical height of the vehicle both
manually or automatically. Each
driving mode provides different
ride comforts.
Air suspension recognizes the
driving condition to automatically
adjust vehicle height, spring
stiffness, and shock absorber
damping force for driving
comfort and vehicle protection.

1. Keep the Bluetooth volume low. High level volume may result in distortion
and echo.
2. When driving on a rough road, high speeds and/or with the window open.
3. When the air conditioning vents are facing the microphone and/or when
the air conditioning fan is at the max speed.

Making a call using voice recognition:
Use your smartphone's functions, such as calling and messaging, from the
[push to talk] button.
On vehicles equipped with navigation, use the [push to talk] button to
activate the system voice recognition.
The menu tree identifies available voice recognition Bluetooth®functions.
Calling by Name:
1. Press the button.
2. Say the following command:
• “Call <John>”: Connects the call to John.
• “Call <John> <on Mobile / at Work / at Home > : Connects the call
to John’s Mobile, Home, or at Work phone number.
Dialing by Number:
1. Press the button.
2. Say “Dial Number”.
3. Say the desired phone number.

Call can be made by dialing the spoken numbers. Ex) Call “123”
Phone
Provides guidance on Phone related commands. After saying this command, say
“Call History”, “Contacts” to execute the corresponding functions.
Contacts
(Call by Name)
Displays the Contacts screen. After saying this command, say the name of a
contact saved in the Contacts to automatically connect a call.
Dial Number Displays the Dial number screen. After saying this command, you can say
the number which you want to call.
Your vehicle may be equipped with a Voice Recognition technology which
allows drivers to operate their phones without having to take their eyes off
of the road to minimize distractions.
Voice recognition performance may be affected if driving with windows
open; when the heating-cooling system is on; when passing in a tunnel or
when driving on rugged and uneven roads.
