As with any tool it is essential you take proper precautions and care in its use.
ALaser is capable of damaging your eyesight or causing Blindness.

It is essential that when in use proper precautions are taken to prevent this. Proper care and use includes but
is not limited to:
·Follow all instructions carefully
·Ensure appropriate eye protection is worn by anyone who can see the Laser this includes any Pets.
·Make sure the Laser Beam does not contact any skin.
·Depending in the materials being cut make sure the Laser is used in a well ventilated area and appropriate
·Take extra precautions for any material which may be flammable or produce harmful fumes when burnt.
·Do not leave unattended while it is operating
·Make sure you follow any specific regulations appropriate to your location.
·Use this laser engraver machine under adult supervision if you are underage
·Any modification of the Laser or the use of accessories provided by a third party will void any warranty.

Note
1.Please read the instructions carefully before installation.
2. When using the laser, you must wear goggles to avoid accidental laser exposure.
3.When engraving mirror, stainless steel and other reflective materials, please paint the surface black to
prevent damage to the laser head from reflective light.
4.The machine should be placed securely on a flat surface to avoid dropping or being hit, and it is recommended
to install smoke extractor when working with the laser.
5.To avoid laser damage to the desktop surface, please add another wood or metal layer whether or not you
are using the honeycomb working table.
6.After long hours of engraving or cutting, laser head lens will be dirty due to smoke, it is recommended to
clean the lens regularly, you can use a cotton swab dipped in alcohol to clean the lens.
7. The leg extension only supports rotary roller setup.

Step 1: Assembling The Frame
1.Place the Y-axis module (left & right), 2020 aluminum profile (front and back) on a flat surface.
2.Insert the four M5 × 8 screws into the holes on the corner brackets, tighten the screws into the 2020 aluminum profiles
to hold together the profiles and Y-axis modules.
3.Pay attention to the direction of the 2020 aluminum profile, there is a cable tie catch on the left side of the profile facing
the front.
4. Use M5 × 16 screws and M5 × 12 screws to fix the acrylic foot to the machine platform.

Step 2: Installing Control Box
1.Insert two M4 ×6 screws into the screw holes of the controlbox, theninstall the M4 T-nuts, slide the T-nuts into
the groove of the aluminum profile, tighten them firmly to attach the controlbox on the profile.
Tips: If youcannottightenthe T-nut,turnthescrewdriverbackwardsfor 7-8 turnsthenre-tightenscrews.
2. Put the cable tie through the cable tie catch, fasten it to fix the cable.

Step 3: Installing X-axis Module
1.Place the X-axis module in the grooves of the two Y-axis modules.
2. Adjust the X-axis module to align the four screw holes on the X-axis module with the holes on the Y-axis module.
3. Slide the four M5 ×30 screws into the X-axis module and tighten theminto screw holes on the Y-axis modules.
4.Before you move to the next step, check the X-axis module position to make sure the aluminum profile fit rightinto the
grooves on both sides.

Step 4: Installing the Cable Tray
Fix the cable tray with two M3 × 8 screws as shown in the diagram.

Step 5: Installing Laser Module and Self-Stick Non-Slip Pads
1.Fix the laser module to the X-axis module with four M3 × 6 screws.
2. Remove the release paper on all four self-stick non-slip pads and stick those pads to the acrylic legs as illustrated.
3.Insert two M5 × 10 screws into the screw holes of the focusing tool holder, then install the M5 T-nuts, slide the T-nuts
into the groove of the aluminum profile, tighten them firmly to attach the focusing tool holder on the profile.

Step 6: Wiring Cables and Connecting Air Pump
1.Wire the Y-L stepper motor cable, Y-R stepper motor cable, X-axis stepper motor cable and laser cable as shown in
the pictures.
2. Install the air nozzle with two M4 × 3 screws.
3. Insert the air hose into the air pump outlet and connect the power cord.

Step 7: Managing Cables and Installing Air Assist Duct
1.Install the Y-L stepper motor cable, Y-R stepper motor cable, laser cable and air duct with cable ties respectively as
shown in the pictures.
2. When installing the air duct, do not over fasten it and try not to kink the hose for smooth air flow.
3.Move the laser head on both direction of X, Y and Z axis to make sure all cables are not intertwined and smooth air
flow in the air duct.

Step 8: Adjusting Focus
1.The laser head focal length on the Jinsoku LC-60A is 20mm, which means there must be a space of 20mm in between
the laser head and material you want to cut or engrave for the laser to focus.
2.Rotate the Z-height adjustment knob on top of the laser head to rise or drop the laser head to proper height. The
focusing tool in the package can assist you to focus the laser with ease.
3. Please remove the air nozzle when doing engraving jobs. The nozzle is specially designed for laser cutting.

Step 9: Rotary Roller Setup (Separately Purchased Accessories, Not Included in the Package)
1.Install the leg extensions under the acrylic legs using four M5 × 25 screws.
Note: The leg extension only supports rotary roller setup.
2.Unwire the Y-R stepper motor cable, then unwire the Y-L stepper motor cable and connect it with the stepper motor
extension cable of the rotary roller.
3. Setup is now complete, and you can engrave on cylindrical objects like cans and tumblers.
