hypothesis, the technical features, the types of installation, the use, the
maintenance and the training regarding to possible dangers.
El manual de instrucciones debe considerarse como una parte del
producto y conservarse para futuras consultas durante toda la vida
útil del mismo. Se aconseja conservarlo en un lugar seco y protegido.
The instruction manual must be considered as a part of the microfilter
and keep it for future inquiries during all its working life. We suggest
keeping it in a dry and protected place.
El manual refleja la situación técnica en el momento de venta de la
máquina y no puede considerarse inadecuado por el hecho de ser
posteriormente actualizado según las nuevas experiencias.
The manual reflects the technical situation at the moment of microfilter sale
and cannot be considered inadequate for the reason of being updated
afterwards, according to the new experiences.

3. INSTRUCCIONES DE SEGURIDAD 3. SECURITY INSTRUCTIONS
Para manejar este producto sin correr riesgos, resulta esencial leer y seguir
cada una de las advertencias y precauciones siguientes: To use this microfilter without suffering any danger, it is essential to
carefully read and follow each one of the following warnings and cautions:
3.1. ATENCIÓN: Los microfiltros transparentes deben
instalarse en la aspiración del equipo de suministro o
de bombeo. Nunca deben instalarse en la salida de
impulsión del equipo de bombeo ya que puede
producirse una rotura del mismo.
3.1. ATTENTION: The transparent microfilters must be
installed in the suction of the supply or pumping kit. It
must not ever be installed on the delivery outlet of the
pumping kit because it can be broken.
3.2. ATENCIÓN: El micro-filtro debe instalarse
utilizando elementos sellantes apropiados al líquido a
transvasar; de lo contrario, pueden producirse fugas,
atentando contra el medio ambiente.
3.2. ATTENTION: The microfilter must be installed using
sealing elements adequate to the liquid to be transferred;
otherwise, there can be leaks, attempting against the
environment.
ATENCIÓN: En depósitos aéreos es necesario instalar
el sistema de alivio de presión lo más cerca posible de
la aspiración del filtro para evitar sobrepresiones
causadas por cambios bruscos de temperatura o por
pisadas accidentales de la manguera del equipo de
bombeo. En caso contrario, podría producirse la rotura
de los retenes del equipo de bombeo, las juntas del
medidor y/o las mangueras.
ATTENTION: In aerial tanks it is necessary to install the
pressure alleviation system as near as possible to the
filter suction in order to avoid overpressures caused by
sudden temperature changes, or because of an
accidental footstep of the pumping kit hose. Otherwise,
the pumping kit retainers, the meter joints, and/or the
hoses can be broken.
4. FUNCIONAMIENTO 4. OPERATION
El funcionamiento del micro-filtro de gran capacidad transparente se basa
en el microfiltraje del líquido contenido en su interior que es aspirado por el
grupo de bombeo al que se instala. El carácter hidrófugo de su papel
filtrante de 5 µm (micra) (FG-150) permite decantar la posible agua
existente. En caso de visualización de agua, parar el repostaje. Proceder a
la limpieza del depósito y las tuberías. Y antes de reanudar el repostaje,
proceder a vaciar el agua existente mediante el purgador inferior manual
(10). (Ver apartado 5. Mantenimiento).
The transparent microfilter operation is based on the liquid microfiltration
that it is in its inner, which is suctioned by the pumping kit where it is
installed. The water decanting condition of its 5 µm (micron) filtering paper
(FG-150) allows to separate the possible water. If you see water, stop the
refuelling. Clean the tank and the tubes. And before starting again the filling
up, drain the water through the manual lower valve (10). (Please, read the
section 5. Maintenance).
Los microfiltros además permiten la posibilidad de inspección ocular e
instantánea, debido a su vaso visor transparente (8) y, en caso de
transvasar impurezas, éstas quedan retenidas entre el cartucho filtrante (5 ·
5a · 5b) y el vaso visor transparente (8). Las impurezas retenidas en el
fondo del vaso visor transparente (8) pueden vaciarse mediante el purgador
inferior manual (10).
The transparent microfilters also allow the visual and instantaneous
inspection because of its transparent vessel (8). In the event of transferring
liquid with impurities, these are retained between the filtering cartridge (5 ·
5a · 5b) and the transparent vessel (8). The retained impurities in the
bottom of the transparent vessel (8) can be emptied through the manual
lower drain valve (10).
ATENCIÓN: Antes de proceder a aflojar el purgador
inferior manual (10), es necesario disponer de un
recipiente adecuado para recoger el líquido con
impurezas que salga por el purgador (10); de esta
manera se evita atentar contra el medio ambiente.
ATTENTION: Before slackening the manual lower valve
(10), you need an adequate recipient to pick up the liquid
with impurities that can go out from the manual lower
valve (10), so you could avoid making an attempt on the
environment.
Una vez purgadas las impurezas, volver a montar el purgador inferior
manual (10). Once the impurities are drained, screw again the manual lower valve (10).
ATENCIÓN:
La presión normal de trabajo para los microfiltros
transparentes instalados en la aspiración de la
bomba es de 0 a -0,4 bar. Si se observa que la
depresión aumenta (desciende hasta -0,5 · -0,7 bar), es
necesario sustituir el cartucho filtrante. (Leer el
apartado 5. Mantenimiento).
ATTENTION:
The normal working pressure for the transparent
microfilters installed in the pump suction is 0 to -0.4 bar.
If you see the depression increases (goes down up to -0.5
· -0.7 bar), it is necessary to replace the filtering
cartridge. (Please read the section 5. Maintenance).

DIESEL TRANSFER.

5. MANTENIMIENTO 5. MAINTENANCE
Los microfiltros de gran capacidad transparente son capaces de filtrar hasta
1 millón de litros en condiciones normales. Cuando se observe que el
rendimiento del equipo desciende por debajo de -0,4 bar, es necesario
cambiar el cartucho filtrante (5 · 5a o 5b), para ello se deben seguir los
siguientes pasos:
The transparent microfilters are able to filter up to 1,000,000 litres in normal
conditions. When you see the equipment capacity, where the filter is
installed, decreases under -0.4 bar, it is necessary to change the filtering
cartridge (5 · 5a or 5b), for that you have to follow the below steps:

5.1. Vaciar el circuito del líquido, abriendo la pistola del equipo de bombeo
para desalojar la presión existente. 5.1. Drain the liquid of the circuit, opening the nozzle of the pumping kit to
take out the existent pressure.
5.2. Desmontar los 10 tornillos (2) de la tapa filtro aluminio (3) y soltar la
tuerca (7). 5.2. Remove the 10 screws (2) of the aluminium filter cover (3), loosening
the nut (7).
5.3. Sustituir el cartucho filtrante (5, 5a o 5b) por otro nuevo. 5.3. Replace the filtering cartridge (5, 5a or 5b) by a new one.
5.4. Volver a colocar las juntas tóricas (4) en su sitio. 5.4. Put again the joints (4).
5.5. Colocar los tornillos (2) atornillándolos en diagonal para favorecer el
asiento de las tóricas (4) en su sitio. Atornillar el conjunto comprobando que
las juntas tóricas estén en su sitio y queden herméticamente presionadas.
5.5. Screw down the screws (2) to make easier the seat of the joints (4).
Screw the set checking the joints are put on its place and hermetically
pressed.
5.6. Poner nuevamente en marcha el equipo de bombeo y el cebado del
filtro se realizará automáticamente, debido a la válvula desgasificadora (0)
que equipa el microfiltro.
5.6. Start again the pumping kit, and the microfilter draining will be
automatically made because of the degasser valve (0).
6. GUÍA DE PROBLEMAS

6. PROBLEM GUIDE

7. REPARACIÓN 7. REPAIR
Los talleres de reparación autorizados son los únicos que pueden reparar
los microfiltros en mal estado. Hay que limpiar el producto y drenarlo antes
de enviarlo. Si el microfiltro ha sido usado, por error, con fluidos no
derivados del petróleo, debe aclararse varias veces y adjuntar una nota que
indique las sustancias químicas que se han usado con dicha unidad. Los
productos que no contengan esas especificaciones no serán admitidos ni
en el taller de reparación ni en la fábrica. Cuando se soliciten repuestos,
asegúrese que da el código de la pieza y su denominación. Esto
garantizará el suministro correcto del repuesto solicitado.
The authorized repair workshops are the only ones that can repair the
microfilters in bad state. The microfilter has to be cleaned and drained
before its delivery. If a microfilter is used by mistake with fluids not derived
from petroleum, it has to be rinsed as many times as it is necessary,
enclosing a note indicating the chemical substances that have been
pumped with this unit. The filters, which do not contain these specifications,
will be admitted neither in the workshop or the factory. When ordering spare
parts, make sure you give the code number of the spare part and its
description. This will guarantee the correct supply of the spare part
requested.

GARANTÍA de 12 meses desde su compra, contra cualquier defecto de
fabricación.

WARRANTY of 12 (twelve) months from their purchase, against any
manufacturing defect.

material sea enviado a portes pagados a nuestra fábrica, o a cualquier
servicio técnico designado. Después de nuestra inspección técnica se

2. TOT COMERCIAL SA guarantees in the warranty period, the change/the
devolution of the defective part or product. This material must be sent
with prepaid freight to our factory or any appointed technical service.
After our technical inspection it will be determined whether the
responsibility is from the manufacturer, the user, the installer or the
delivery transport.

3. The warranty does not cover: the inadequate use, the negligence, the
corrosion, the abuse, the manipulation or the wrong installation of the

specific model. All the manufactured and/or commercialized equipment
must be installed according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
