Securing the faucet
Slide the rubber washer (C) and metal washer
(D) over threaded rods and lift rod (P). Use the
lock nuts (E) to secure the rubber washer (C)
and metal washer (D).
Attach the extension rod (U) to one lock nut
(E), feed a screwdriver (not included) through
the bottom of the extension rod (U), and then
tighten the lock nut (E). Repeat for the second
lock nut (E).

Installing the faucet assembly
Shut off the water supply. Remove the old
faucet.
WITH DECK PLATE: Align the hole in the gasket
(G) and deck plate (F) with the mounting hole in
the sink. Insert the supply lines (H) and the lift
rod (P) through the deck plate (F) and mounting
hole in the sink until faucet (A) sets on top of
deck plate (F).
Clean off the mounting surface.

NOTE: If the sink is uneven, use silicone under the
gasket (G).

CAUTION : Always turn off the water supply before
removing an existing faucet or replacing any part of a
faucet. Open the faucet handle to relieve water pressure
and ensure that the water is completely shut off.
WITHOUT DECK PLATE: Insert the supply lines (H)
and lift rod (P) through the mounting hole in the
sink until faucet (A) sets on top of the sink.
Remove the lock nuts (E), metal washer (D), and
rubber washer (C) from the faucet.

Preparing the pop-up assembly
Remove the pop up stopper (I) and drain ange (J)
from the drain body (M).
Screw the lock nut (L) all the way down, and
push the rubber washer (K) down.

3Installing the drain body
Apply silicone sealant (not included) under the
drain ange (J) and place the drain ange (J)
over the drain hole in the sink.
From underneath the sink, screw the drain
body (M) onto the drain ange (J). Ensure that
the opening (1) for the ball rod on the drain
body (M) faces towards the rear of the sink.
Tighten the rubber washer (K) and lock nut (L)
on the drain body (M). Do not over tighten.

Installing the stopper and ball
rod
Insert the pop up stopper (I) into the drain hole
in the sink.
Remove the spring clip (S) from the ball rod (T).
Remove the ball nut (O). Insert the ball rod (T)
into the drain body (M) and through the hole of
the pop up stopper (I). See insert 1.
For easier removal and cleaning, rotate the
pop up stopper (I) 90 degrees so that the ball
rod (T) does not go through the hole in the pop
up stopper (I). See insert 2.

Secure the ball nut (0) and bushing (N), against
the hole in the drain body (M) and tighten the
ball nut (O) onto the threaded end. Do not
overtighten.
NOTE: In shallow cabinet installations, the ball rod (T) may
need to be shortened. Use a hack saw to cut the end of the
rod, away from the ball, to the desired length .

until the drain plunger is in the open position.

Care and Cleaning
Troubleshooting
To clean, wipe down with a damp cloth and towel dry.
Do not use abrasive cleaners, steel wool, or harsh chemicals when cleaning this faucet, or the warranty will
be voided.
NOTE: Refer to the service parts section in this manual for
a detailed drawing showing the location of the parts listed
below.
Problem Possible Cause Solution
There are leaks from the handle. The locking nut is loose.
The O-ring on the cartridge is
dirty or damaged.
□Tighten the locking nut.
□Clean or replace the O-ring.
The aerator is dirty or mis-tted.
The cartridge may be clogged.
□Remove the aerator and check for
debris.
The sink drain at the base of the
sink is leaking.
The sink surface is rough or
irregular.
□Apply additional silicone sealant to
the beveled side of the drain ange.
□Apply silicone sealant to the beveled
side of the rubber washer on the
drain body.
□Retighten and test for leaks.
The locking nut is loose or
cartridge is not positioned
correctly.
Flushing and checking for leaks
Turn off the water and reinstall the aerator and
housing (if applicable).
Ensuring the handle is in the off position, turn
on the water supply and check for leaks. If you
discover any leaks, check your connections to
ensure they are installed properly.
Use a coin to remove the aerator (B) from the
faucet (A). Lift the handle to allow the water to
run for at least one minute. This ushes away any
debris that could cause damage to internal parts.

Sujeción del grifo
Introduzca la arandela de caucho (C) y la aran-
dela metálica (D) por las varillas roscadas y la
varilla de elevación (P). Use las contratuercas
(E) para sujetar la arandela de caucho (C) y la
arandela metálica (D).
Sujete la varilla de extensión (U) a una con-
tratuerca (E), introduzca un destornillador (no
incluido) por el oricio de la base de la varilla
de extensión (U) y apriete la contratuerca (E).
Repita la operación con la segunda contrat-
uerca (E).

Instalación del conjunto del grifo
Cierre el suministro de agua. Retire el grifo viejo.
CON PLACA DE SOPORTE: Alinee el oricio del
empaque (G) y la placa de soporte (F) con el
oricio de montaje del lavabo. Introduzca los
conductos de alimentación (H) y la varilla de
elevación (P) por la placa de soporte (F) y el ori-
cio de montaje en el lavabo hasta que el grifo
(A) se sitúe sobre la placa de soporte (F).
Limpie la supercie donde va a montar el grifo.

NOTA: Si la supercie del lavabo es desigual,
use silicona debajo del empaque (G).

ADVERTENCIA: Cierre siempre el suministro de agua
antes de retirar el grifo viejo o sustituir cualquier pieza de un
grifo. Abra la manija del grifo para reducir la presión del agua
y compruebe que el agua está completamente cortada.
SIN PLACA DE SOPORTE: Introduzca los conduc-
tos de alimentación (H) y la varilla de elevación
(P) por el oricio de montaje en el lavabo hasta
que el grifo (A) se sitúe sobre el lavabo.
Retire del grifo las contratuercas (E), la arandela
metálica (D) y la arandela de caucho (C).

Retire el tapón levadizo (I) y el reborde de des-
agüe (J) del cuerpo del desagüe (M).
Enrosque la contratuerca (L) totalmente hasta
abajo y empuje hacia abajo la arandela de caucho
(K).
3Instalación del desagüe
Ponga sellante de silicona (no incluido) debajo
del reborde del desagüe (J) y colóquelo sobre
el oricio del desagüe (J) del lavabo.
Enrosque el cuerpo del desagüe (M) en el
reborde del desagüe (J) por debajo del lavabo.
Compruebe que la abertura (1) para la varilla de
rótula del cuerpo del desagüe (M) está de cara
a la parte trasera del lavabo.
Apriete la arandela de caucho (K) y la con-
tratuerca (L) en el cuerpo del desagüe (M). No
apriete excesivamente.

Retire la pinza sujetadora (S) de la varilla de
rótula (T).
Retire la tuerca esférica (O). Introduzca la
varilla esférica (T) en el cuerpo del desagüe (M)
y por el oricio del tapón levadizo (I). Véase el
recuadro 1.
Para facilitar la desinstalación y la limpieza,
gire el tapón levadizo (I) 90 grados de forma
que la varilla esférica (T) no pase por el oricio
del tapón levadizo (I). Véase el recuadro 2.

Sujete la tuerca esférica (O) y el casquillo (N)
contra el oricio del cuerpo de desagüe (M)
y apriete la tuerca esférica (O) en el extremo
roscado. No apriete excesivamente.
NOTA: En las instalaciones en armarios poco profundos
puede ser necesario acortar la varilla de rótula (T). Use una
sierra para metales para cortar el extremo de la varilla,
lejos de la rótula, a la longitud deseada.

Solución de Problemas
Limpie con un trapo húmedo y seque con un paño.
No use limpiadores abrasivos, lana metálica ni productos químicos fuertes para limpiar el grifo o la garantía
podría anularse.
NOTA: Consulte la sección de piezas de repuesto
de este manual para ver dibujos detallados sobre
la ubicación de las piezas enumeradas abajo.
Problema Posible causa Solución
Hay fugas de la manecilla.
La tuerca tapa está oja.
La junta tórica del cartucho está
sucia o dañada.
□Apriete la tuerca de seguridad.
□Limpie o reemplace el anillo O.
El aireador está sucio o no está
ajustado correctamente.
El cartucho puede estar obstruido.
□Retire el aireador y compruebe si hay
suciedad.
El desagüe del lavabo en la base del
lavabo tiene una fuga.
La supercie del lavabo es desigual
o irregular.
□Ponga más sellante de silicona en la parte
biselada del reborde del desagüe.
□Ponga sellante de silicona en el lado
biselado de la arandela de caucho en el
cuerpo del desagüe.
□Vuelva a apretar y verique si sigue
habiendo goteo.
La contratuerca está oja o
el cartucho no está colocado
correctamente.
Enjuague y vericación de fugas
Cierre el agua y vuelva a instalar el aireador y el
receptáculo (de ser el caso).
Compruebe que la manija esté en posición cer-
rada. Abra la alimentación de agua y compruebe
si hay fugas. De haberlas, verique que las
conexiones estén bien hechas.
Use una moneda para retirar el aireador (B) del
grifo (A). Levante la manija para que el agua corra
al menos durante un minuto. De esta manera se
enjuagan los conductos y se hace salir la sucie-
dad que podría dañar las piezas internas.

IMPORTANTE: Una vez terminada la instalación,
retire el aireador para enjuagar los conductos de agua.
No pierda el empaque del aireador.
El aireador tiene fugas o un ujo de
agua reducido.
El suministro de agua no se corta
por completo.
Compruebe que el aireador está
instalado correctamente.
Retire el cartucho y compruebe si hay
suciedad.
Limpie o reemplace.
Apriete la contratuerca.
Retire el cartucho y vuelva a colocarlo
comprobando que esté en la posición
adecuada.
