Installation
1 Preparing for installation
CAUTION: Always turn off the water supply before
removing an existing faucet or replacing any part of a
faucet. Open the faucet handle to relieve water pressure
and ensure that the water is completely shut off.
2 Removing the protective cap
□Remove the protective cap (D). Loosen the
connector (E) from the middle body (F). Adjust
the rubber washer (G), metal washer (H) and
mounting nut (I) to the bottom of middle body (F).
□Shut off the water supply. Remove the old
faucet.
□Clean the mounting surface.
□Drill 1-3/8 in. holes in the nished deck as
shown in the diagram below.

NOTE: This kit allows up to 1-1/4 in. deck thickness.
3 Installing the middle body
□From underneath the deck, insert the middle
body (F) with the rubber washer (G), metal
washer (H) and mounting nut (I) through the
mounting hole.
□From above, thread the connector (E) onto
the middle body (F).
□Tighten the mounting nut (I) using a basin
wrench, so that the connector (E) sits ush
against the nished deck surface.

4 Removing the protective caps
□Remove the protective caps (N). Loosen the
anges (O) from the valve bodys (P & Q). Adjust
the rubber washers (R), metal washers (S) and
mounting nuts (T) to the bottom of valve
bodys (P & Q).
5 Installing the valve bodies
□From underneath the deck, insert the cold end
valve (Q) with the rubber washer (R), metal
washer (S) and mounting nut (T) through
the hole on the right (cold) side.
□From above, thread the ange (O) onto the
valve body (Q).
□Tighten the mounting nut (T) using a basin
wrench, so that the ange (O) sits ush against
the nished deck surface.
□Repeat this procedure for the hot end valve (P)
on the left (hot) side.
6 Connecting the hoses
□Connect the hoses (U) to the bottom of the hot
and cold end valves (P & Q), as shown.
□Align the middle body (F) in a position that will
allow maximum clearance to connect the
hoses (U).
□Carefully bend the hoses (U) to t in the
available space, and carefully thread the hose
(U) couplings onto the sides of the middle
body (F). Tighten all connections with a wrench.

7 Installing the spout assembly
□Install the spout assembly (A) onto the
connector (E). Be sure the spout assembly (A)
is resting rmly on the deck.
□Push down on spout assembly (A) and tighten
set screw (B) with the Hex wrench
(Hex: 3.2mm, C).
8 Installing the handle
□Thread the ange (M) onto the ange (O). Place
the handle (L) onto the cartridge stem (1) and
tighten with the screw (K). Insert the index (J).
9 Making the water supply
connections
□Connect the water supply lines (1) to the
faucet inlets (2). (Supply lines are not
included.)
□Place the other handle onto the left (hot) valve
and install the same way.

Operation
1Flushing and checking for leaks
□Ensure the faucet handles are in the off position,
and turn on the water supply and check for leaks.
If you discover any leaks, check your connections
to ensure they are installed properly.
□Turn on the hot and cold handles to allow the
water to run for at least one minute. This
ushes away any debris that could cause
damage to internal parts.
□Turn off the water.
Care and Cleaning
□To clean, wipe down with a damp cloth and dry with a towel.
□Do not use abrasive cleaners, steel wool, or harsh chemicals when cleaning this faucet, or the warranty will
be voided.
Troubleshooting

There are leaks from the
handle.
The bonnet nut has come loose and/or the
washer is dirty or damaged.
□Tighten the bonnet nut.
□Clean or replace the washer.
The water will not shut off
completely.
The cartridge is dirty or broken. □Remove the handle to check
the cartridge.

There is a leak from the
spout base when the

2 Cómo quitar la tapa protectora
□Quita la tapa protectora (D). Aoja el conector (E)
del cuerpo intermedio (F). Ajusta las arandelas
de goma (G) y de metal (H), así como la tuerca
de montaje (I) en la parte inferior del cuerpo
intermedio (F).

1 Cómo prepararse para la
instalación
□Taladra oricios de 1-3/8 plg en la plataforma
acabada, como se muestra en el diagrama a
continuación.
□Cierra el suministro de agua. Retira el grifo
anterior.
□Limpia la supercie de montaje.
PRECAUCIÓN: Cierra siempre el suministro de agua
antes de quitar un grifo existente o reemplazar cualquier
pieza de un grifo. Abre la llave del grifo para liberar la
presión de agua y asegúrate de que el suministro de agua
esté completamente cerrado.

3 Cómo instalar el cuerpo
intermedio
□Desde debajo de la cubierta, inserta el cuerpo
intermedio (F) con la arandela de goma (G), la
arandela de metal (H) y la tuerca de montaje (I)
a través del oricio de montaje.
□Desde arriba, enrosca el conector (E) en el
cuerpo intermedio (F).
□Aprieta la tuerca de montaje (I) con una llave
para grifería, de modo que el conector (E) quede
a ras de la supercie de la cubierta con acabado.

4 Cómo quitar las tapas
protectoras
□Quita las tapas protectoras (N). Quita las bridas
(O) de los cuerpos de la válvula (P y Q). Ajusta
las arandelas de goma (R) y de metal (S), así
como las tuercas de montaje (T) en la parte
inferior de los cuerpos de la válvula (P y Q).

5 Cómo instalar los cuerpos
de la válvula
□Desde la parte inferior de la plataforma, inserta
el cuerpo de la válvula con la arandela (Q) de
goma (R), la arandela metálica (S) y el tornillo
de montaje (T) por los oricios del lado derecho
(agua fría).
□Desde arriba, enrosca la brida (O) en la válvula
con la arandela (Q).
□Aprieta la tuerca de montaje (T) con la llave de
grifería, de modo que la brida (O) quede a ras
con la supercie de la plataforma con acabado.
□Repite este procedimiento para la válvula de
extremo para agua caliente (P) del lado
izquierdo (caliente).
6 Cómo conectar la mangueras
□Conecta las mangueras (U) a la parte inferior
de las válvulas de extremo de agua caliente y
fría (P & Q) como se muestra.
□Alinea el cuerpo intermedio (F) en una posición
que haya espacio suciente para conectar las
mangueras (U).
□Con cuidado, dobla las mangueras (U) para que
quepan en el espacio disponible y con cuidado
enrosca los acopladores de la manguera (U)
a los lados del cuerpo intermedio (F). Aprieta
todas las conexiones con una llave.

7 Cómo instalar el ensamblaje
del caño
□Instala el ensamblaje del caño (A) en el conector
(E). Asegúrate de que el ensamblaje del caño (A)
descanse rmemente sobre la cubierta.
□Presiona hacia abajo el conjunto del caño (A)
y aprieta el tornillo de jación (B) con la llave
hexagonal (Hex.: 3.2 mm, C).

9 Cómo hacer las conexiones
del suministro de agua
□Conecta las líneas del suministro de agua (1)
a las entradas del grifo (2). (Las líneas de
suministro no están incluidas).
8 Cómo instalar la llave
□Enrosca la brida (M) en la brida (O). Coloca la
llave (L) en el vástago del cartucho (1) y aprieta
con el tornillo (K). Inserta el índice (J).
□Coloca la otra llave sobre la válvula izquierda
(agua caliente) e instala de la misma manera.

Funcionamiento
1Cómo purgar las tuberías y
comprobar que no haya fugas
□Asegúrate de que las manijas del grifo estén
cerradas, abre el suministro del agua y comprueba
que no haya ltraciones. Si descubres alguna
ltración, verica tus conexiones para asegurarte
de que estén instaladas adecuadamente.
□Abre los manerales del suministro de agua fría
y caliente y deja que corran durante al menos
un minuto cada una. Esto elimina cualquier
desecho que pudiera dañar las piezas internas.
□Cierra el suministro de agua.
Cuidado y limpieza
□Para limpiar, usa un paño húmedo y seca con una toalla.
□No uses limpiadores abrasivos, esponjas de alambre o productos químicos fuertes para limpiar esta
mezcladora, pues ello anulará la garantía.
