removing an existing faucet or replacing any part of a
faucet. Open the faucet handle to relieve water pressure
and ensure that the water is completely shut off.

Installation
1 Installing the spout assembly
CAUTION: Always turn off the water supply before
removing an existing faucet or replacing any part of a
faucet. Open the faucet handle to relieve water pressure
and ensure that the water is completely shut off.
□Shut off the water supply.
□Place the spout assembly (A) through the middle
mounting hole in the sink.
□Secure the spout assembly (A) with the washer
(G) and the nut (H). Use the basin wrench to
tighten the nut (H).
2 Connecting the hot and cold
valves
□Slide the hot and cold end valves (B & C) through
the sink mounting holes. Make sure the long
tubes are installed away from the spout
assembly (A).
□Secure the end valves (B & C) with the washers
(D) and the nuts (E). Hand tighten the nuts (E)
onto the end valve (B & C) shanks. Lock the nuts
(E) into position by tightening the screws (F) with
a phillips screwdriver.
NOTE: The hot side end valve is labeled.

3 Connecting the hose
□Align the tabs (1 & 2) on the quick connect
assembly (I).
□Push the quick connect assembly (I) rmly
upward and snap it onto the receiving tube tab.
Pull down moderately to ensure the connection
has been made.
4Making the waterline
connections
□Use 1/2 in. I.P.S. faucet connections (2), or use
supply line coupling nuts (3) (not included) with
a 3/8 in. O.D. ball-nose riser (1).
NOTE: Before tightening the faucet connector to the water
supply, apply a second wrench to the supply tube tting.
This will prevent the supply tube from moving or twisting
when tightening the faucet connector. Do not overtighten.

5 Preparing the pop-up assembly
□Remove the stopper (J) and ange (K).
□Screw the nut (M) all the way down, and push
the gasket (L) down.
6 Installing the pop-up body and
pop-up flange
□Apply silicone to the underside of the ange (K).
□Insert the pop-up body (N) into the sink. Screw
the ange (K) onto the pop-up body (N). The
pivot hole (1) must face the back of the sink.
□Use the groove joint pliers to tighten the nut (M),
but do not over tighten. Do not turn the pop-up
body (N) while tightening the nut (M) or the
sealant may not seal properly. Clean away any
excess putty.
□Open the easy install rotating clip (O).

7Installing the horizontal rod,
stopper, and strap
□Install the horizontal rod (P) and stopper (J), as
shown (1) and (2). Make sure the horizontal
rod (P) insert into the pop-up body (N)
completely, as shown (3).
□Close the easy install rotating clip (O).
8 Adjusting the length of
horizontal rod
□If the horizontal rod (P) is too long, as shown in
Fig 1, the length can be adjusted.
□After the plastic portion is positioned properly,
reinstall the clip (T) as shown in Fig 3
□Remove the clip (T) from the horizontal rod (P).
Slide the plastic portion of the rod to adjust to the
desired length. The excess length (1) can be
removed by snapping off with pliers at the
perforated segment, or cut off with a saw.
NOTE: If the horizontal rod of the pop-up assembly is too
long, do not cut, it can be adjusted.

9 Installing the lift rod

10 Remove the quick connector
□If it is necessary to remove the quick connector
(1), squeeze the tabs (2) on the quick connector
and then pull down to disconnect.
□Push the pivot rod (P) to the down position until
the stopper (J) is completely open. Press the
button (Q) on the slip joint assembly (R) and
adjust the vertical rod (S) up or down and front
or back along the pivot rod (P) until the vertical
rod (S) is in the correct position to engage with
the lift rod (U). Press lift rod (U) into the top of the
vertical rod (S) until it engages.
□Operate the lift rod (U) up and down to verify that
the stopper opens and closes correctly.
□Slide the lift rod (U) through the faucet
assembly (A) until the knob rests on the faucet
assembly.

□Do not use abrasive cleaners when cleaning this faucet.

1Flushing and checking for leaks
□Turn on the water supply and allow both hot
and cold water to run for at least one minute
each. This ushes away any debris that could
cause damage to internal parts.
□While the water is running, check for leaks.
□Turn off the water and replace the aerator.

IMPORTANT: After installation is complete, remove the
aerator with the plastic wrench (V) to ush the water lines.

Instalación
1 Cómo instalar el ensamblaje
del caño
□Cierra el suministro de agua.
□Coloca el ensamblaje del caño (A) en el oricio de
montaje central del lavamanos.
□Asegura el ensamblaje del caño (A) con la
arandela (G) y la tuerca (H). Usa una llave para
grifería para apretar la tuerca (H).
2 Cómo conectar las válvulas de
agua fría y caliente
□Desliza las válvulas de extremo para agua
caliente y fría (B y C) a través de los oricios de
montaje del lavamanos. Verica que los tubos
largos estén lejos del ensamblaje del caño (A).
□Asegura las válvulas con arandelas (D) y tuercas
(E). Aprieta con la mano las tuercas (E) en el
vástago. Asegura las tuercas (E) en su posición
apretando los tornillos (F) con un destornillador
Phillips.
NOTA: La válvula de agua caliente está etiquetada.
PRECAUCIÓN: Cierra siempre el suministro de agua
antes de quitar un grifo existente o reemplazar cualquier
pieza de un grifo. Abre la llave del grifo para liberar la
presión de agua y asegúrate de que el suministro de agua
esté completamente cerrado.

3 Cómo conectar la manguera
□Alinea las pestañas (1 y 2) en el ensamblaje
del conector rápido (I).
□Presiona rmemente el ensamblaje del conector
rápido (I) hacia arriba hasta que encaje en la
pestaña del tubo receptor. Hala hacia abajo
ligeramente para asegurar que la conexión
es segura.
4 Cómo hacer las conexiones de
las tuberías de agua
□Usa conexiones de grifos de 1/2" IPS (2) o
tuercas de acoplamiento de líneas de suministro
(3) (no incluidas) con un tubo montante de bola
de diámetro exterior de 3/8" (1).
NOTA: Antes de apretar el conector del grifo al suministro
de agua, ja el accesorio de la tubería de suministro
colocando una segunda llave . Esto evitará que la tubería de
suministro se mueva o gire cuando aprietes el conector del
grifo. No aprietes demasiado.

5 Cómo preparar el ensamblaje
emergente
□Retira el tapón (J) y la brida (K).
□Enrosca la tuerca (M) hasta el límite. Presiona
la junta (L) hacia abajo.
6 Cómo instalar el cuerpo
emergente y la brida emergente
□Aplica silicona en el lado inferior de la brida (K).
□Inserta el cuerpo emergente (N) en el lavamanos.
Enrosca la brida (K) en el cuerpo emergente (N).
El oricio del pivote (1) debe mirar hacia la parte
trasera del lavamanos.
□Usa el alicate articulado de extensión para
apretar la tuerca (M), pero no la aprietes
demasiado. No gires el tapón emergente
mientras ajustas la tuerca o el sellador no
sellará apropiadamente. Limpia el exceso de
masilla.
□Abre el sujetador giratorio fácil de instalar (O).

8 Cómo ajustar el largo de la
varilla horizontal
□Si la varilla horizontal (P) es demasiado larga,
como se muestra en la Fig. 1, es posible ajustar
el largo.
□Después de ubicar adecuadamente la parte plástica,
vuelve a instalar el sujetador (T), como se muestra
en la Fig. 3.
□Quita el sujetador (T) de la varilla horizontal (P).
Desliza la parte plástica de la varilla para ajustar
al largo deseado. Es posible acortar el largo (1),
cortando con alicates o con una sierra en el
segmento perforado.
NOTA: Si la varilla horizontal del ensamblaje emergente
es demasiado larga, no la cortes, ya que puede ajustarse.

7Cómo instalar la varilla
horizontal, el tapón y la correa
□Instala la varilla horizontal (P) y el tapón (J) tal
como se muestra en (1) y (2). Asegúrate de que
la varilla horizontal (P) se inserte completamente
en el cuerpo emergente (N), como se muestra
en (3) .
□Cierra el sujetador giratorio fácil de instalar (O).

Cómo instalar la varilla de
elevación
Si es necesario, retira el conector rápido (1),
aprieta las pestañas (2) de la manguera y hala
hacia abajo para desconectar.
10 Quita el conector rápido
□
□Empuja la varilla pivotante (P) hacia abajo hasta
que el tapón (J) esté completamente abierto.
Presiona el botón (Q) en el ensamblaje del alicate
ajustable (R) y ajusta la varilla vertical (S) arriba
o abajo y hacia adelante o atrás a lo largo de la
varilla pivotante (P) hasta que la varilla
vertical (S) esté en la posición correcta para
engancharla con la varilla de elevación (U).
Presiona la varilla de elevación (U) en la parte
superior de la varilla vertical (S) hasta que se
enganche.
□Mueve la varilla de elevación (U) hacia arriba y
abajo para vericar que el tapón se abre y cierra
correctamente.
□Desliza la varilla de elevación (U) a través del
ensamblaje del grifo (A) hasta que la perilla
esté apoyada sobre este.

Cuidado y limpieza
□Conserva el acabado del grifo aplicando cera no abrasiva.
□Cuando uses limpiadores no abrasivos, enjuaga de inmediato cuando termines de limpiar el grifo.
□No uses limpiadores abrasivos para limpiar este grifo.
1Cómo purgar las tuberías y
comprobar que no haya fugas
□Abre el suministro de agua y deja correr agua
fría y caliente durante al menos un minuto
cada una. Esto enjuagará cualquier suciedad
que podría dañar las piezas internas.
□Con el chorro abierto, verica que no haya
fugas.
□Cierra el suministro de agua y vuelve a
colocar el aireador.
