This GLEN Quartz Heater is fully warranted against any defect arising out of defective materials or faulty
workmanship for a period of one years from the date of purchase. Should any defect develop in this product, the
customer should bring the product to the nearest authorised service centre, where the company undertakes to
get the product repaired free of charge.
This warranty is not valid if :
l The use and care instructions have not been followed.
l Defects are caused by accident, misuse, abuse or commercial use.
l The repair work is carried out by persons not authorised by the company.
l Any modification or alteration of any nature is made in the product.
l Normal wear & tear of the product is not covered under warranty
l The Bill/Cash memo and copy of warranty card is not presented.
Under no circumstances, whether based on limited warranty or otherwise shall the company be liable for
incidental, special or consequential damages. Use of product indicates acceptance by you of the aforesaid
terms and conditions.

USING YOUR QUARTZ HEATER
Place the heater on the floor at least 50cm away from the wall and any other objects such as furniture,
curtains or plants. (Make sure the power supply used corresponds to the one on the rating label). Place the
Quartz Heater on a firm level surface. Switch ON the mains button behind the unit.
Rotate the knob on left side (position 1) then one heater is ON, Rotate the knob on right side (Position 2) then
both heater are ON (Total 800 W).
To switch OFF rotate the knob to position 0.
SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
l Use the appliance only for the mentioned purpose, namely as a radiator for domestic use. Do not
use it for any other application as it could get dangerous.
l The manufacture is not responsible for any eventual damages caused by improper or faulty use.
The use of every electrical appliance calls for the awareness of some basic rules, such as:
l Never touch the appliance with wet or damp hands or feet.
l Never expose the appliance to atmospheric conditions (rain, sun, etc.)
l The appliance must be always placed on a flat and stable surface.
l Switch the appliance off and unplug it before cleaning.
l When the appliance is not in use switch it off and unplug it. Make harmless the parts of the
appliance which could be handled hazardously by children for playing.
l Do not use this heater in the immediate surroundings of a bath, a shower or a swimming pool.
l Do not put the cable on the appliance when it still warm.
l A correct operation of the appliance is obtained when the radiator is installed vertically. Do not
switch on the fan heater near pieces of furniture, curtains, shelves, etc.
l Do not use the appliance near liquids or inflammable matters.
l The appliance must not be located immediately below a socket outlet.
l In order to avoid overheating, do not cover the heater
l In case the power cord is damaged, send it to the nearest after sale service recommended by the
manufacturer for the replacement.
l This appliance is not intended use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory
or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given
supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
l Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
l Do not connect the appliance to extension cords or multiple outlets.
l Do not damage and do not kink the power cord.
l Before cleaning the appliance or carrying out any maintenance switch off the whole system.
l If the appliance is out of work switch it off without tampering it, if any repair is required please
contact only the after-sale centers approved by the manufacturer and ask for original spare parts.
Otherwise safety of the appliance can be compromised.
l Do not use this heater with a programmer, timer or any other device that switches the heater on
automatically, since a fire risk exists if the heater is covered or positioned incorrectly.
Note - As a safety precaution The unit will be automatically cut OFF if it fall on floor.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
l Always disconnect the heater from the mains supply before cleaning and wait till the item is cool.
Clean the outside of the heater with a damp cloth. Clean with the help of soft brush.
l DO NOT use waxes or polishes as these may react with the heater and cause discoloration.
l Clean the grilles from dust.
