Glidermatic G+ Control Box
Programming New Handsets

The following instructions demonstrate how to program a new or additional Gliderol handset to your
existing Glidermatic G+ Control Box. Please note, if you are replacing a lost or stolen handset we
recommend erasing all existing handset data from your operator prior to programming your new
handset. Please refer to your Glidermatic G+ Control Box Owners Manual for further information on this
process.
Step 1:
Carefully remove the light cover by pulling down
on the tab near the front of the unit.
Step 2 (Position One):
Press the ‘Learn’ button once. A red light will
illuminate and the control box will beep three
times to confirm the unit is in learn mode.

Step 2 (Position Two):
Press the ‘Learn’ button once. A red light will
illuminate and the control box will beep three
times to confirm the unit is in learn mode.

IMPORTANT - READ BEFORE PROCEEDING
Depending on the age of your unit, your ‘learn’ button will be located in one of the two
positions shown. For units installed prior to July 2017, refer ‘Postion One’ instructions.
For units installed after this date, refer ‘Postion Two’ instructions.

Step 3:
Press the Main/Key 1 button on the handset.
The unit will beep once to confirm successful
coding.

Your handset programming
is now complete!
Please note, this procedure will simply program
your handset to operate your Gliderol garage
door. To change your handset key settings (the
specific button on the handset that operates
your door), please refer to our Handset Key
Settings factsheets.
