netDrives800 is the newest product in Glyph's line of affordable storage for
backup and archival purposes. Featuring two FireWire 800 (1394b) ports, a
FireWire 400 (1394a) port, and a USB 1.1/2.0 port - netDrives800 is sure to
offer a super-fast connection to your data.
Utilizing Oxford's 922 bridge chip, the FireWire 800 ports on netDrives800
allows transfer rates of up to 100MB/sec, twice as fast as the original
FireWire bus speed. And with capacities of up to 200GB in a 7,200 RPM
drive, it's perfect for content creators who are transferring and storing huge
amounts of audio and video on a daily basis.
Since netDrives800 also has a FireWire 400 port and a USB 1.1/2.0 port,
the drive can be used on Mac OS 8.6 and later, as well as on Windows
Me/XP/2000 systems. FireWire 800 is supported by Mac OS 10.2.5 and
later, as well as Windows XP or 2000.
netDrives800 includes a FireWire 800 cable and a USB cable, and comes
pre-tested and formatted for Mac OS.

•FireWire 800 supports speeds up to

•If your computer does not have
built-in FireWire 800, you'll need a
PCI card to achieve a true FireWire
800 connection
•Most 800 ports are Bi-Lingual, which
