WARNING: Always wear ear protection where the sound level exceeds 85dB(A) and limit the
time of exposure if necessary. If sound levels are uncomfortable, even with ear protection,
stop using the tool immediately and check the ear protection is correctly fitted and provides
the correct level of sound attenuation for the level of sound produced by your tool.
WARNING: User exposure to tool vibration can result in loss of sense of touch, numbness,
tingling and reduced ability to grip. Long-term exposure can lead to a chronic condition. If
necessary, limit the length of time exposed to vibration and use anti-vibration gloves. Do
not operate the tool with hands below a normal comfortable temperature, as vibration will
have a greater effect. Use the figures provided in the specification relating to vibration to
calculate the duration and frequency of operating the tool.
Sound and vibration levels in the specification are determined according to EN60745 or
similar international standards. The figures represent normal use for the tool in normal
working conditions. A poorly maintained, incorrectly assembled, or misused tool, may
produce increased levels of noise and vibration.

that may be useful to domestic users who use tools for long periods of time.
General Safety
WARNING Read all safety warnings and all instructions. Failure to follow the warnings
and instructions may result in electric shock, fire and/or serious injury.
WARNING: This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with
reduced, physical or mental capabilities or lack of experience or knowledge unless
they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by
a person responsible for their safety. Children must be supervised to ensure that they do
not play with the appliance.
Save all warnings and instructions for future reference.
The term “power tool” in the warnings refers to your mains-operated (corded) power tool or
battery-operated (cordless) power tool.
1) Work area safety
a) Keep work area clean and well lit. Cluttered or dark areas invite accidents.
b) Do not operate power tools in explosive atmospheres, such as in the presence
of flammable liquids, gases or dust. Power tools create sparks which may ignite the
dust or fumes.
c) Keep children and bystanders away while operating a power tool. Distractions can
cause you to lose control.
2) Electrical safety
a) Power tool plugs must match the outlet. Never modify the plug in any way. Do not
use any adapter plugs with earthed (grounded) power tools. Unmodified plugs and
matching outlets will reduce risk of electric shock.
b) Avoid body contact with earthed or grounded surfaces, such as pipes, radiators,
ranges and refrigerators. There is an increased risk of electric shock if your body is
earthed or grounded.
c) Do not expose power tools to rain or wet conditions. Water entering a power tool
will increase the risk of electric shock.
d) Do not abuse the cord. Never use the cord for carrying, pulling or unplugging the
power tool. Keep cord away from heat, oil, sharp edges or moving parts. Damaged or
entangled cords increase the risk of electric shock.
e) When operating a power tool outdoors, use an extension cord suitable for outdoor
use. Use of a cord suitable for outdoor use reduces the risk of electric shock.
f) If operating a power tool in a damp location is unavoidable, use a residual current
device (RCD) protected supply. Use of an RCD reduces the risk of electric shock.
3) Personal safety
a) Stay alert, watch what you are doing and use common sense when operating a
power tool. Do not use a power tool while you are tired or under the influence of
drugs, alcohol or medication. A moment of inattention while operating power tools
may result in serious personal injury.
b) Use personal protective equipment. Always wear eye protection. Protective
equipment such as dust mask, non-skid safety shoes, hard hat, or hearing protection
used for appropriate conditions will reduce personal injuries.
c) Prevent unintentional starting. Ensure the switch is in the off-position before
connecting to power source and/or battery pack, picking up or carrying the tool.
Carrying power tools with your finger on the switch or energising power tools that have
the switch on invites accidents.
d) Remove any adjusting key or wrench before turning the power tool on. A wrench
or a key left attached to a rotating part of the power tool may result in personal injury.
e) Do not overreach. Keep proper footing and balance at all times. This enables better
control of the power tool in unexpected situations.
f) Dress properly. Do not wear loose clothing or jewellery. Keep your hair, clothing and
gloves away from moving parts. Loose clothes, jewellery or long hair can be caught in
moving parts.
g) If devices are provided for the connection of dust extraction and collection
facilities, ensure these are connected and properly used. Use of dust collection can
reduce dust-related hazards.
4) Power tool use and care
a) Do not force the power tool. Use the correct power tool for your application. The
correct power tool will do the job better and safer at the rate for which it was designed.
b) Do not use the power tool if the switch does not turn it on and off. Any power tool
that cannot be controlled with the switch is dangerous and must be repaired.
c) Disconnect the plug from the power source and/or the battery pack from the
power tool before making any adjustments, changing accessories, or storing
power tools. Such preventive safety measures reduce the risk of starting the power
tool accidentally.
d) Store idle power tools out of the reach of children and do not allow persons
unfamiliar with the power tool or these instructions to operate the power tool.
Power tools are dangerous in the hands of untrained users.
e) Maintain power tools. Check for misalignment or binding of moving parts,
breakage of parts and any other condition that may affect the power tool’s
operation. If damaged, have the power tool repaired before use. Many accidents
are caused by poorly maintained power tools.
f) Keep cutting tools sharp and clean. Properly maintained cutting tools with sharp
cutting edges are less likely to bind and are easier to control.
g) Use the power tool, accessories and tool bits etc. in accordance with these
instructions, taking into account the working conditions and the work to be
performed. Use of the power tool for operations different from those intended could
result in a hazardous situation.
5) Battery tool use and care
a) Recharge only with the charger specified by the manufacturer. A charger that is
suitable for one type of battery pack may create a risk of fire when used with another
battery pack.
b) Use power tools only with specifically designated battery packs. Use of any other
battery packs may create a risk of injury and fire.
c) When battery pack is not in use, keep it away from other metal objects, like paper
clips, coins, keys, nails, screws or other small metal objects that can make a
connection from one terminal to another. Shorting the battery terminals together
may cause burns or a fire.

If liquid contacts eyes, additionally seek medical help. Liquid ejected from the battery
may cause irritation or burns.
d) Under abusive conditions, liquid may be ejected from the battery; avoid contact. If
contact occurs, flush with water. If liquid contacts eyes, additionally seek medical
help. Liquid ejected from the battery may cause irritation or burns.
6) Service
a) Have your power tool serviced by a qualified repair person using only identical
replacement parts. This will ensure that the safety of the power tool is maintained.
Impact Drill Safety
WARNING!
• Wear ear protectors when impact drilling. Exposure to noise can cause hearing loss.
• Use auxiliary handle(s), if supplied with the tool. Loss of control can cause personal
injury.
• Hold power tool by insulated gripping surfaces, when performing an operation where
the cutting accessory may contact hidden wiring or its own cord. Cutting accessory
contacting a "live" wire may make exposed metal parts of the power tool “live” and
could give the operator an electric shock
IMPORANT: If you suspect or discover asbestos is present in any area you are working in,
seek professional advice immediately. Removal of asbestos should be done by a licensed
contractor. Contact the HSE in the UK (www.hse.gov.uk) or your national health and safety
authority in your country for further information about dealing with asbestos. European
Directive 2009/148/EC provides additional information related to exposure to asbestos at
work.
a) DO NOT allow anyone under the age of 18 years to use this tool. Ensure that
operators are qualified and familiar with the operating and safety instructions.
b) Use personal protective equipment (PPE) including safety glasses and protective
clothing.
c) Wear respiratory protection suitable for the work being undertaken. A minimum
rating of FFP2 is recommended.
d) If operating the tool causes discomfort in any way, stop immediately and review
your method of use.
e) Wear suitable protective anti-vibration gloves that are non-fabric or coated fabric
to prevent loose strands of material catching in the rotating drill bit. Discard
gloves immediately if material is visibly frayed.
f) Hammer drills produce a very high level of vibration when operating in hammer
mode. Frequent breaks are advised.
g) Use metal and voltage detectors to locate concealed electric, water or gas lines.
Avoid touching live components or conductors.
h) Extension cable reels used with this tool must be completely unwound. Minimum
conductor cross section: 1.0mm2.
i) When using this tool outdoors fit a RCD (GFCI in USA and Canada) to the mains
connection. Ensure any extension cables used are suitable for outdoor use with water-
resistant connections.
j) Ensure that the drill bit is securely fixed in the chuck. Insecure drill bits can be
ejected from the machine causing a hazard.
k) Ensure that the lighting is adequate.
l) Ensure that the drill bit is in contact with the workpiece prior to starting up the
tool.
m) Before drilling, check that there is sufficient clearance for the drill bit under the
workpiece.
n) Use both hands when operating this tool.
o) DO NOT put pressure on the tool; to do so would shorten its service life.
p) Drill bits get hot during operation; allow to cool prior to handling them.
q) NEVER use your hands to remove sawdust, chips or waste close by the bit.
r) If you are interrupted when operating the drill, complete the process and switch
off before looking up.
s) Where possible, use clamps or a vice to hold your work.
t) ALWAYS disconnect the hammer drill from the electric supply before changing a
drill bit.
u) Examine the chuck regularly for signs of wear or damage. Have damaged parts
repaired by a qualified service centre.
v) ALWAYS wait until the drill has come to a complete stop before putting it down.
w) On completion of the work, disconnect the tool from the power source and
remove bit from the machine.
x) Periodically check all nuts, bolts and other fixings and tighten where necessary.
Battery and Charger Safety
Use the battery charger correctly
• Refer to the section of this manual relating to use of the battery charger before
attempting to charge the battery
• Do not attempt to use the charger with any batteries other than those supplied. Keep
your battery charger clean; foreign objects or dirt may cause a short or block air vents.
Failure to follow these instructions may cause overheating or fire
• If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent
or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard
• Examine the battery charger regularly for damage, especially the cord, plug and
enclosure. If the battery charger is damaged, it must not be used until it has been
repaired
• Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance
Warning: Do not recharge non-rechargeable batteries
Battery and charger safety features
The battery and charger are fitted with a number of safety features which may be triggered
during charging or operation:
• Over-charge protection: Charger automatically switches off when the battery has
reached full charge capacity, protecting the internal components of the battery
• Over-discharge protection: Prevents the battery from discharging beyond the
recommended lowest safety voltage
• Over-heat protection: Sensor switches off if the battery becomes too hot during
operation. This can happen if the tool is overloaded or being used for extended periods
of time. Up to 30 minutes cooling time may be required depending on the ambient
temperature
• Overload protection: Battery temporarily stops if it is overloaded or the maximum current
draw is exceeded, protecting the internal components. The battery will resume normal
operation when the current draw returns to a normal safe level. This may take a few
seconds
• Short circuit protection: The battery will stop working immediately if a short circuit
occurs, this prevents damage to the battery or tool

Use batteries correctly
• Only charge batteries using the charger provided. Only use batteries provided with this
power tool, or others recommended by the supplier. Keep batteries clean; foreign objects or
dirt may cause a short. Allow batteries to cool for 15 minutes after charging or heavy use.
Failure to follow these instructions may cause overheating or fire.
WARNING: Li-Ion batteries, if incorrectly used, stored or charged are a fire, burn and
explosion hazard.
• Keep the battery out of reach of children
• Only charge Li-Ion batteries using the charger provided or designed specifically for your
product
• Only use Li-Ion batteries provided with a product or specifically designed to be
compatible
• Allow batteries to cool for 15 minutes after charging or heavy use. Failure to follow
these instructions may cause overheating or fire
• When not in use batteries should be stored at room temperature (approximately 20˚C)
• Ensure that battery contacts cannot accidentally short in storage. Keep batteries clean;
foreign objects or dirt may cause a short. Keep away from other metal objects, for
example paperclips, coins, keys, nails and screws
• Under abusive conditions, liquid may be ejected from the battery. This liquid may cause
skin irritation or burns. Avoid contact. If contact accidentally occurs, flush with water. If
liquid contacts eyes, seek medical help
• Do not open, disassemble, crush, heat above 60°C or incinerate. Do not dispose of in
fire or similar

Intended Use
• Battery-operated drill with screwdriver, drill and impact drill functions suitable for
medium duty drilling and driving tasks. Includes hammer/impact function for light
masonry drilling.
Unpacking Your Tool
• Carefully unpack and inspect your tool. Fully familiarise yourself with all its features and
functions
• Ensure that all parts of the tool are present and in good condition. If any parts are missing
or damaged, have such parts replaced before attempting to use this tool
Before Use
Removing a battery
• To remove the Battery (9) from the drill, press the Battery Release (11), then slide the
Battery off towards the front of the drill
WARNING: DO NOT try to remove the Battery without pressing the Battery Release button.
The drill or Battery could be damaged.
Fitting a battery
1. To fit a charged battery, slide it on to the battery slot below the Hand Grip (7) of the drill
until it clicks and locks into position
Note: Make sure the Battery and drill are lined up correctly. If the Battery does not slide
into the drill easily, don’t force it. Instead, slide the Battery out of the drill again, check the
top of Battery and the drill battery slot are clean and undamaged and that the contacts are
not bent.
Setting up the battery charger
1. If fitted, remove any battery from the Battery Charger (15)
2. Insert the Battery Charger mains plug into a suitable mains socket
Note: The Green LED (16) on the Battery Charger will blink to indicate that the Battery
Charger is ready to charge the battery.
WARNING: ONLY use this charger to charge the supplied battery or additional purchased
batteries that are specifically designed for this tool.
WARNING: The charger is designed for indoor use only, and MUST NOT be used in
damp or wet conditions.
Charging the battery
WARNING: Failure to follow the correct procedure when charging batteries will result in
permanent damage.
Note: Normal charging time is 80 minutes for a recently discharged 4Ah battery. However, if
the Battery (9) has been left in a discharged state for some time, it may take up to 2 hours
to charge.
1. Slide a fully or partially discharged Battery onto the Battery Charger (15)
Note: Make sure the Battery and Battery Charger are lined up correctly. If the Battery does
not slide onto the Battery Charger easily, don’t force it. Instead, remove the Battery, check
the top of Battery and the Battery Charger slot are clean and undamaged and that the
contacts are not bent.
2. Once charging commences, the Red LED (17) will illuminate

Battery Charge Level: The Battery has a built-in Charge Indicator (8) (Fig. I). Pressing on
the button to the right will indicate the charge level. The right LED indicates a high charge
level and the left a low charge level that will mean the battery pack will require charging
soon.
IMPORTANT: When a low charge level is indicated be aware the tool may stop operating
while using the tool. In some instances this may be dangerous. It is recommended to
always ensure the battery pack has a good charge level.

Notes about battery charging:
• The Battery (9) should be charged at ambient temperatures between 10 and 40°C
(ideally around 20°C)
• After charging, allow 15 minutes for the battery to cool before use
• Ensure that the charger is disconnected from the mains supply after use, and is stored
correctly
• DO NOT leave batteries on charge for extended periods and NEVER store batteries on
charge
• The Battery Charger (15) monitors battery temperature and voltage while charging.
Remove the Battery once charging has been completed to maximise charge cycles of
the battery and not waste power
• Batteries can become faulty over time, individual cells in the battery can fail and the
battery could short. The charger will not charge faulty batteries. Use another battery,
if possible, to check correct functionality of the charger and purchase a replacement
battery if a faulty battery is indicated
• DO NOT store Lithium-Ion battery packs in a discharged state long term. This can
damage the Lithium-Ion cells. For long-term storage, store batteries in a high charge
state disconnected from the power tool
• The capacity of batteries will reduce over time. After 100 charge cycles, the battery’s
operation time and the maximum torque performance of the drill will slightly reduce.
This decline will continue until the battery has minimal capacity after 500 charge cycles.
This is normal and not a fault with the battery pack
Fitting a drill or driver bit
WARNING: DO NOT fit any attachment with a maximum speed lower than the no load
speed of the machine.
1. Rotate the Keyless Chuck (1) collar anti-clockwise (as seen from facing the chuck
opening) and insert the bit into the chuck
2. Rotate the Keyless Chuck collar clockwise to secure the drill bit
Note: DO NOT run the tool whilst tightening or releasing the chuck. Ideally select the locked
middle position of the Forward/Reverse Switch (6).
3. When the bit is held tightly, test that it is positioned centrally by running the tool. The
bit should rotate smoothly without uneven rotation. If the bit is not central, release the
chuck, reposition the bit and retighten the chuck
Direction control
• The rotation direction can be set using the Forward/Reverse Switch (6)
• To let the chuck rotate clockwise, push the Forward/Reverse Switch to the left
• To let the chuck rotate anti-clockwise, push the Forward/Reverse Switch to the right
• When the Forward/Reverse Switch is in the central position, the tool is locked
WARNING: DO NOT attempt to move the Forward/Reverse Switch when the tool is running
Speed control
• This drill driver features a 2-speed gearbox:
• 1st gear range: 0 – 500min-1
• 2nd gear range: 0 – 1800min-1
• Use the Gear Selector (4) to set the gear: forward for first gear, back for second gear
Note: The first gear would be used normally for driving screws, for example, and offers
higher torque and superior control at low rpm. The second gear would normally be used
exclusively for drilling.
Drill mode selection
• For normal drilling, select the correct gear which is normally the high speed 2nd gear,
then rotate the Mode Selector (3) so the drill symbol is aligned with the indicator on
the tool body
• For masonry drilling, select the correct gear which is normally the high speed 2nd gear,
then rotate the Mode Selector so the hammer symbol is aligned with the indicator
on the tool body
Torque control
• This drill driver is fitted with torque control, which limits the torque output of the drill,
enabling screws to be driven without the risk of damage
• There are 20 torque settings and two drill settings. The lower the number, the lower
the torque
• To set the torque clutch, select the first gear and rotate the Mode Selector (3) so the
drive symbol is aligned with the indicator on the tool body
• Rotate the Torque Selector (2) until the setting you require is aligned with the drive
symbol
• Check that the torque setting is correct by practising first on a piece of scrap material
WARNING: The drill can be fitted with a drive adaptor for use with driving nuts and bolts. Do
not attempt to use this tool in the drill position when doing so. Use the 20 torque settings
and the first gear to allow the torque clutch to protect the tool from excessive load. The use

up the operation without risk of damage when high torque is required at the beginning or
end of the operation.
Operation
WARNING: Always use adequate protective equipment, including eye protection,
respiratory and hearing protection, when working with this tool.
Switching on and off
• To start the tool, squeeze the Speed Control Trigger Switch (13). The Work Light LED (14)
will illuminate
• Further pressure on the Speed Control Trigger Switch will increase the running speed
of the tool
• Release the Speed Control Trigger Switch to stop the tool
Note: It is possible the drill may switch off during heavy use due to thermal protection of
the battery and internal components. This may prevent the tool being used again for a short
period of time and does not represent a fault condition.
Drilling guidance
• Use sharp drill bits and ensure that drill bits are suitable for the material being drilled
• Never exceed the maximum drilling capacities listed in ‘Specification’
• Begin drilling at slow speeds by partially squeezing the Speed Control Trigger Switch
• Reduce pressure on the Speed Control Trigger Switch when the drill bit is about to break
through to the other side of material
• To avoid splintering on breakthrough, either clamp a piece of scrap wood to the back
of the workpiece or continue the hole from the back of the wood when the drill bit first
breaks through
Drilling metal
• Support thin material with a piece of scrap wood
• Mark the intended hole position using a hammer and centre punch
• Use only HSS (high speed steel) drill bits or others recommended for drilling into metal

• Prior to drilling large holes, use a smaller bit to drill a pilot hole
• Use a suitable coolant/lubricant to prolong the service life of the drill bit, and produce
good results
Drilling masonry
• ‘Hammer drill mode’ should be used for drilling into masonry and concrete
• Always use a masonry drill bit, preferably a TCT masonry bit, when drilling into walls,
stone or concrete
• DO NOT apply too much pressure to the back of the tool. If debris blocks the drill hole,
run the drill slowly and remove the bit from the hole. Repeat until the hole is clear of
debris and continue

WAARSCHUWING: Bij een geluidsintensiteit van 85 dB(A) of hoger is het dragen van
gehoorbescherming en het limiteren van de blootstellingstijd vereist. Bij oncomfortabel
hoge geluidsniveaus, zelfs met het dragen van gehoorbescherming, stopt u het gebruik
van de machine onmiddellijk. Controleer de pasvorm en het geluiddempingsniveau van de
bescherming.
WAARSCHUWING: Blootstelling aan trilling resulteert mogelijk in gevoelloosheid, tinteling
en een vermindert gripvermogen. Langdurige blootstelling kan leiden tot chronische
condities. Limiteer de blootstellingsduur en draag anti-vibratie handschoenen. Vibratie heeft
een grotere invloed op handen met een temperatuur lager dan een normale, comfortabele
temperatuur. Maak gebruik van de informatie in de specificaties voor het bereken van de
gebruiksduur en frequentie van de machine.
Geluid- en trillingsniveaus in de specificatie zijn vastgesteld volgens EN60745 of een
gelijksoortige internationale norm. De waarden gelden voor een normaal gebruik in normale
werkomstandigheden. Een slecht onderhouden, onjuist samengestelde of onjuist gebruikte
machine produceert mogelijk hogere geluids- en trillingsniveaus. www.osha.europa.eu
biedt informatie met betrekking tot geluids- en trillingsniveaus op de werkplek wat mogelijk
nuttig is voor regelmatige gebruikers van machines.
Algemene veiligheid
WAARSCHUWING Lees alle bediening- en veiligheidsvoorschriften. Het niet opvolgen van alle voorschrif-
ten die hieronder vermeld staan, kan resulteren in een elektrische schok, brand en/of ernstig letsel.
WAARSCHUWING: De machine is niet geschikt voor gebruik door personen met een
verminderde mentale of fysieke gesteldheid of een gebrek aan ervaring, tenzij de persoon
wordt begeleid of geïnstrueerd door een persoon verantwoordelijk voor de veiligheid
Bewaar deze voorschriften voor toekomstig gebruik.
De term “elektrisch gereedschap” in alle hieronder vermelde waarschuwingen heeft
betrekking op uw elektrische gereedschap dat op de stroom is aangesloten (met een snoer)
of met een accu wordt gevoed (snoerloos).
1) Veiligheid in de werkruimte
a) Houd de werkruimte schoon en zorg voor een goede verlichting. Rommelige en
donkere ruimtes leiden vaak tot ongelukken.
b) Werk niet met elektrisch gereedschap in explosieve omgevingen, bijvoorbeeld
in de aanwezigheid van ontvlambare vloeistoffen, gassen of stof. Elektrisch
gereedschap brengt vonken teweeg die stof of dampen kunnen doen ontbranden.
c) Houd kinderen en omstanders uit de buurt wanneer u elektrisch gereedschap
bedient. Door afleiding kunt u de controle over het gereedschap verliezen.
2) Elektrische veiligheid
a) De stekkers van het elektrische gereedschap moeten passen bij het stopcontact.
Pas de stekker niet aan. Gebruik geen adapterstekkers bij geaard elektrisch
gereedschap. Het gebruik van ongewijzigde stekkers en passende stopcontacten
vermindert het risico op een elektrische schok.
b) Vermijd lichamelijk contact met geaarde oppervlakken zoals pijpen, radiatoren,
fornuizen en koelkasten. Het risico op een elektrische schok neemt toe als uw
lichaam geaard wordt.
c) Laat elektrisch gereedschap niet nat worden. Wanneer elektrisch gereedschap nat
wordt, neemt het risico op een elektrische schok toe.
d) Beschadig het snoer niet. Gebruik het snoer nooit om het elektrisch gereedschap
te dragen, te trekken of om de stekker uit het stopcontact te trekken. Houd
het snoer uit de buurt van hitte, olie, scherpe randen of bewegende delen. Een
beschadigd of in de knoop geraakt snoeren verhoogt het risico op een elektrische schok
toe.
e) Wanneer u elektrisch gereedschap buiten gebruikt, maak dan gebruik van een
verlengsnoer dat geschikt is voor gebruik buitenshuis. Gebruik een verlengsnoer
dat geschikt is voor gebruik buitenshuis om het risico op een elektrische schok te
verminderen.
f) Indien het onvermijdelijk is elektrisch gereedschap te gebruiken in een vochtige
omgeving, gebruik dan een energiebron met een aard lek beveiliging (Residual
Currency Device). Het gebruik van een RCD vermindert het risico op een elektrische
schok.
3) Persoonlijke veiligheid
a) Blijf alert en gebruik uw gezonde verstand wanneer u elektrisch gereedschap
bedient. Gebruik het elektrisch gereedschap niet wanneer u vermoeid bent
of onder invloed van drugs, alcohol of medicijnen. Onoplettendheid tijdens het
bedienen van elektrisch gereedschap kan leiden tot ernstig letsel.
b) Maak gebruik van persoonlijke bescherming. Draag altijd een veiligheidsbril.
Passende bescherming voor de omstandigheden, zoals een stofmasker, niet-slippende
veiligheidsschoenen een helm of gehoorbescherming, vermindert het risico op
persoonlijk letsel.
c) Zorg ervoor dat het apparaat niet per ongeluk wordt gestart. Controleer of
de schakelaar in de ‘uit’ stand staat voordat u de stekker in het stopcontact
steekt. Het dragen van elektrisch gereedschap met uw vinger op de schakelaar of het
aansluiten op de stroom van elektrisch gereedschap met de schakelaar ingeschakeld
kan tot ongelukken leiden.
d) Verwijder alle stel- of moersleutels voordat u het elektrische gereedschap
inschakelt. Een moer- of stelsleutel die zich op een draaiend onderdeel van het
elektrische gereedschap bevindt, kan leiden tot letsel.
e) Reik niet te ver. Blijf altijd stevig en in balans staan. Zo houdt u meer controle over
het elektrische gereedschap in onverwachte situaties.
f) Draag geschikte kleding. Draag geen loshangende kleding of sieraden. Houd
haren, kleding en handschoenen uit de buurt van bewegende delen. Loshangende
kleding, sieraden en los hangende haren kunnen vast komen te zitten in bewegende
delen.
g) Als er onderdelen voor stofafvoer- en stofverzameling worden meegeleverd, sluit
deze dan aan en gebruik deze op de juiste wijze. Het gebruik van deze onderdelen
kan het risico op stofgerelateerde ongelukken verminderen.
4) Gebruik en verzorging van elektrisch gereedschap
a) Forceer elektrisch gereedschap niet. Gebruik elektrisch gereedschap dat geschikt
is voor het werk dat u wilt uitvoeren. Geschikt elektrisch gereedschap werkt beter en
veiliger op een passende snelheid.
b) Gebruik het elektrische gereedschap niet als de schakelaar het apparaat niet
in- en uitschakelt. Elektrisch gereedschap dat niet bediend kan worden met de
schakelaar is gevaarlijk en moet gerepareerd worden.
c) Haal de stekker uit het stopcontact voordat u instellingen aanpast, toebehoren
verwisselt of het elektrische gereedschap opbergt. Dergelijke voorzorgsmaatregelen
verminderen het risico op het per ongeluk starten van het elektrische gereedschap.
d) Berg elektrisch gereedschap dat niet in gebruik is op buiten bereik van kinderen
en laat mensen die niet bekend zijn met het elektrische gereedschap of met deze
instructies het elektrische gereedschap niet bedienen. Elektrisch gereedschap is
gevaarlijk in de handen van onervaren gebruikers.
e) Onderhoud uw elektrisch gereedschap. Controleer op foutieve uitlijning of het
vastslaan van bewegende delen, gebroken onderdelen en elke andere afwijking
die de werking van het elektrische gereedschap zou kunnen beïnvloeden. Indien
het elektrische gereedschap beschadigd is, moet u het laten repareren voordat
u het weer gebruikt. Veel ongelukken worden veroorzaakt door slecht onderhouden
elektrisch gereedschap.
f) Houd snijwerktuigen scherp en schoon. Goed onderhouden snijwerktuigen met
scherpe messen slaan minder snel vast en zijn gemakkelijker te bedienen.

g) Gebruik het elektrische gereedschap, toebehoren en onderdelen, etc. volgens
deze instructies en volgens bestemming voor het specifieke type elektrisch
gereedschap, en houd daarbij rekening met de werkomstandigheden en het uit te
voeren werk. Gebruik van elektrisch gereedschap voor werkzaamheden die verschillen
van die waarvoor het apparaat bestemd is, kan leiden tot gevaarlijke situaties.
5) Accu machine gebruik en onderhoud
a) Laad de accu enkel met de door de fabrikant gespecificeerde accu op. Het gebruik
van een accu, geschikt voor één accusoort, voor een andere accusoort resulteert mogelijk
in brand
b) Gebruik accu machines enkel met specifiek bedoelde accu’s. Het gebruik van andere
accu’s resulteert mogelijk in persoonlijk letsel en brand
c) Wanneer een accu niet gebruik is, houdt u deze uit de buurt van metalen
voorwerpen als paperclips, munten, spijkers, schroeven, etc. Het kortsluiten van
een accu resulteert mogelijk in brand Wanneer accuvloeistoffen in uw ogen terecht
komt, zoekt u onmiddellijk medische hulp. Accuvloeistoffen veroorzaken mogelijk irritatie
en brandend gevoel
d) Misbruik van de accu resulteert mogelijk in vloeistof uitstoot. Voorkom contact.
Spoel, wanneer contact plaatsgevonden heeft, onmiddellijk met water. Wanneer de
vloeistof in uw ogen terecht komt zoekt u onmiddellijk medische hulp. Accuvloeistoffen
veroorzaken mogelijk irritatie en brandend gevoel
6) Onderhoud
a) Laat uw elektrische gereedschap onderhouden door een gekwalificeerde vakman
en gebruik alleen identieke vervangstukken. Zo bent u er zeker van dat de veiligheid
van het elektrische gereedschap gewaarborgd blijft.
Combiboorhamer veiligheid
WAARSCHUWING!
• Bij het gebruik van de machine is het dragen van gehoorbescherming aanbevolen.
Blootstelling aan hoge geluidsniveaus resulteert mogelijk in gehoorbeschadiging
• Gebruik hulphandvaten wanneer inbegrepen. Controleverlies resulteert mogelijk in
persoonlijk letsel
• Houdt de machine te allen tijde bij de geïsoleerde handvaten vast. Wanneer de
machine/accessoires tijdens gebruik in aanraking komen met stroomdraad, komen de
metalen onderdelen onder stroom te staan wat mogelijk leidt tot elektrische schok
WAARSCHUWING: Bij de aanwezigheid van asbest, tracht u onmiddellijk professionele hulp.
Het verwijderen van asbest dient uitgevoerd te worden door een geautoriseerd persoon.
Neem contact op met uw lokale autoriteit voor meer informatie betreft de verwijdering van
asbest. De Europese richtlijn 2009/148/EG voorziet informatie betreft de blootstelling aan
asbest op de werkplek
a) Laat personen jonger dan 18 jaar de boorhamer niet gebruiken. Tevens horen alle
gebruikers met de gebruik- en veiligheidsinstructies bekend te zijn
b) Draag de geschikte beschermende uitrusting, waaronder een veiligheidsbril en
beschermende kleding
c) Draag een geschikt stofmasker. Een minimale waardering van FFP2 is aanbevolen.
Wanneer het gebruik van de machine enig ongemak veroorzaakt stopt u het werk
onmiddellijk
d) Wanneer de machine op enige manier oncomfortabel is, stopt u het gebruik
onmiddellijk
e) Draag geschikte beschermende handschoenen, zonder deeltjes die door de
roterende boor gegrepen kunnen worden. Wanneer het handschoenmateriaal rafelt,
gooit u de handschoenen weg
f) Boorhamers produceren hoge trillingsniveaus bij het gebruik inde hamerstand.
Neem regelmatig pauze
g) Gebruik metaal- en spanningszoekers voor het vinden van verborgen water- ,
gas- en/of elektrische leidingen. Vermijdt het contact met componenten die onder
spanning staan
h) Verlengkabels die in combinatie met de boorhamer gebruikt worden horen
volledig afgerold te worden. Minimale aderdikte: 1,00 mm2
i) Wanneer de boorhamer buiten gebruikt wordt, sluit u deze op een
aardlekschakelaar aan. Zorg ervoor dat verlengsnoeren geschikt zijn voor buiten
gebruik en voorzien zijn van waterbestendige aansluitingen
j) Zorg ervoor dat boor bits stevig in de spankop vast zitten. Losse bits kunnen
losschieten en ongelukken veroorzaken
k) Zorg voor voldoende verlichting
l) Zorg ervoor dat de boor in contact staat met het werkstuk voordat u de machine
inschakelt
m) Controleer op voldoende ruimte voor de boor onder het werkstuk voordat u met
het boren begint
n) Houdt de machine stevig, met beide handen vast
o) Oefen geen druk op de machine uit – dit kan de levensduur van de machine
aanzienlijk verkorten
p) Boor bits worden tijdens gebruik erg heet. Laat ze na gebruik afkoelen
q) Verwijder zaagsel, houtstukken en ander hout afval nooit met uw handen
r) Wanneer u tijdens het gebruik van de boorhamer gestoord wordt, maakt u het
werk af en schakelt
u de machine uit voordat u opkijkt
s) Klem het werkstuk wanneer mogelijk op uw werkbank vast
t) Ontkoppel de machine van de stroombron voordat bits gewisseld worden
u) Controleer de spankop regelmatig op tekenen van slijtage en/of schade.
Beschadigde onderdelen horen door een gekwalificeerd persoon vervangen te worden
v) Wacht met het neerleggen van de machine tot deze volledig tot stilstand is
gekomen

Acculader veiligheid
Juist gebruik van de oplader
• Raadpleeg het deel in deze handleiding wat betrekking heeft op het gebruik van de
oplader, voor het opladen van de accu.
• Gebruik de oplader niet in combinatie met een accu, anders dan die verstrekt bij de
machine. Houd de oplader schoon; stof en/of vuil kan leiden tot kortsluiting en een
geblokkeerde ventilatie wat kan resulteren in oververhitting en/of brand
• Wanneer het stroomsnoer beschadigt is, laat u deze door de fabrikant vervangen om
gevaren te voorkomen
• Controleer de oplader regelmatig op schade, vooral het stroomsnoer en de stekker.

Accu en oplader veiligheidskenmerken
De accu en de oplader zijn voorzien van een aantal veiligheidskenmerken welke tijdens
opladen of gebruik getriggerd kunnen worden
• Overlading bescherming: De oplader schakelt automatisch uit wanneer de accu volledig
is opgeladen om zo de interne delen van de accu te beschermen tegen beschadigen
• Ontlading bescherming: Beschermt de accu tegen ontlading verder dan het aangeraden
laagste spanningspunt
• Oververhittingsbescherming: Een ingebouwde sensor schakelt de machine uit wanneer
de accu te heet wordt. Dit kan gebeuren wanneer de belasting te groot is en wanneer
de machine voor langere periode gebruikt wordt. Afhankelijk van de temperatuur heeft
de accu mogelijk een koelperiode van 30 minuten nodig.
• Overbelasting bescherming: De accu stopt tijdelijk wanneer deze wordt overbelast
of wanneer de maximale spanning wordt overschreden om zo de interne onderdelen
te beschermen tegen beschadiging. De accu zal de werking hervatten wanneer de
spanning terug op een veilig niveau komt. Dit duurt mogelijk een aantal seconden.
• Kortsluiting bescherming: De accu stopt onmiddellijk wanneer kortsluiting plaats vindt.
Dit voorkomt beschadiging aan de accu en de machine.
Juist gebruik van de accu
• Laad de accu alleen op met de oplader verstrekt bij de machine. Gebruik enkel de
bijgeleverde accu, of accu’s aangeraden door de leverancier. Houd uw accu schoon; stof
en/of vuil kan leiden tot kortsluiting. Laat de accu, na het opladen of na lang gebruik,
15 minuten afkoelen. Het falen van het opvolgen van deze instructies kan leiden tot
oververhitting en/of brand.
WAARSCHUWING: Li-ion batterijen, wanneer onjuist gebruikt, opgeborgen of
opgeladen, zijn een brand- en explosiegevaar
• Houdt de accu uit de buurt van kinderen
• Laad Li-ion accu’s enkel op met de oplader, inbegrepen bij het product of speciaal
ontworpen voor uw product
• Gebruik enkel Li-ion accu’s inbegrepen bij uw product of speciaal ontworpen voor
compatibiliteit
• Laat accu’s na het opladen of na zwaar gebruik 15 minuten afkoelen om oververhitting
en brand te voorkomen
• Wanneer niet in gebruik dienen accu’s op kamertemperatuur (ongeveer 20°C)
opgeborgen te worden
• Zorg ervoor dat de accu, wanneer opgeborgen, geen kortsluiting kan veroorzaken. Houdt
accu’s schoon; vreemde voorwerpen kunnen kortsluiting veroorzaken. Houdt accu’s uit
de buurt van metalen voorwerpen als paperclips, muntjes, sleutels, etc.
• Bij verkeerd gebruik kan vloeistof uit de accu lekken. De vloeistof veroorzaakt mogelijk
huidirritatie brandwonden. Wanneer de vloeistof in contact komt met de huid spoelt u
uw huid onmiddellijk met water. Wanneer de vloeistof in de ogen terecht komt zoekt u
onmiddellijk medische hulp
• Open, demonteer, breek, verwarm (boven 60°C) en verbrand accu’s niet. Gooi accu’s
niet in het vuur

Gebruiksdoel
Accu combiboorhamer met schroef-, boor- en hamerfunctie, geschikt voor middel zware
schroef- en boorwerkzaamheden. Inclusief hamerfunctie voor licht betonboren
Het uitpakken van uw gereedschap
• Pak uw toestel / gereedschap uit. Inspecteer het en zorg dat u met alle kenmerken en
functies vertrouwd raakt
• Controleer of alle onderdelen aanwezig zijn en in goede staat verkeren. Als er onderdelen
ontbreken of beschadigd zijn, zorg dan dat deze vervangen worden voor u dit toestel /
gereedschap gebruikt
Voor gebruik
Het ontkoppelen van de accu
• Om de accu (9) te ontkoppelen drukt u de verlosschakels (11) aan beide zijden van de
machine in en schuift de accu van de eenheid
Let op: Probeer de accu niet te ontkoppelen zonder het indrukken van de verlosschakels.
De accu en de machine raken zo mogelijk beschadigd
Het aansluiten van een opgeladen accu
1. Schuif de opgeladen accu in de gleuf aan de onderzijde van het handvat (7) tot deze in
positie klikt
Let op: Zorg ervoor dat de machine en de accu juist zijn uitgelijnd. De accu dient
gemakkelijk in de machine te schuiven. Forceer de accu niet. Wanneer de accu niet soepel
in de machine schuift, controleert u de accu, de machine gleuven en de contactpunten
voordat u het opnieuw probeert

Het opzetten van de oplader
1. Ontkoppel de accu (wanneer aangesloten) van de oplader (15)
2. Steek de accu oplader stekker in een geschikte stroombron
Let op: Het groene LED lampje (16) van de oplader brand wanneer de oplader klaar is voor
het opladen van de accu
WAARSCHUWING: Gebruik de oplader enkel voor het opladen van de inbegrepen accu, of
voor aangeschafte accu’s, specifiek ontworpen voor de machine
WAARSCHUWING: De oplader is enkel geschikt voor binnen gebruik en dient niet in
vochtige omstandigheden gebruikt te worden
Het opladen van de accu
WAARSCHUWING: Wanneer de instructies niet opgevolgd worden raakt de accu mogelijk
permanent beschadigd
Let op: De normale laadtijd bedraagt ongeveer 80 minuten, voor een recent ontladen 4,0 Ah
accu. Wanneer de accu (9) voor langere tijd ontladen is, bedraagt de laadtijd mogelijk 2 uur
1. Schuif de ontladen/gedeeltelijk ontladen accu op de oplader (15)
Let op: Zorg ervoor dat de accu en de oplader juist zijn uitgelijnd. De accu dient
gemakkelijk in de oplader te schuiven. Forceer de accu niet. Wanneer de accu niet soepel
op de oplader schuift, controleert u de accu, de oplader gleuven en de contactpunten
voordat u het opnieuw probeert
2. Wanneer het opladen start brandt het rode LED lampje (17)
3. Wanneer de accu volledig is opgeladen brand enkel het groene LED lampje (16)
Accu laadniveau: De accu is voorzien van een laadniveau indicator (8) (Fig. I). Druk de
knop aan de rechter zijde in om het laadniveau weer te geven. Het rechter LED duidt op een
hoog laadniveau en het linker LED duidt op een laag laadniveau
BELANGRIJK: Wanneer de machine een laag laadniveau aangeeft, stopt de machine
mogelijk tijdens gebruik. In sommige gevallen is dit gevaarlijk. Het is aanbevolen de accu te
gebruiken met een redelijk laadniveau
Opmerkingen betreft het opladen van de accu:
• De accu (9) dient bij een omgevingstemperatuur tussen de 10 en 40°C (dicht bij 20°C is
ideaal) opgeladen te worden
• Na het opladen vereist de accu een afkoelperiode van 15 minuten
• Zorg ervoor dat de oplader na het opladen van de stroombron wordt ontkoppeld en juist
wordt opgeborgen
• Laad accu’s NOOIT voor langere periodes op en berg accu’s NOOIT op wanneer deze
worden opgeladen
• De oplader houdt de temperatuur en spanning van de accu constant in de gaten.
Ontkoppel de accu wanneer deze volledig is opgeladen, om de laadcyclussen te
optimaliseren en het verspillen van energie te voorkomen
• Accu’s kunnen na verloop van tijd stuk raken, individuele cellen breken wat leidt tot
kortsluiting in de accu. De oplader laadt zulke accu’s niet op. Gebruik de andere accu
om de werking van de oplader te controleren en schaf een nieuwe accu aan
• Li-ion accu’s mogen niet voor langere tijd ontladen opgeborgen worden. Dit beschadigt
de Li-ion accucellen mogelijk. Accu’s dienen volledig opgeladen (ontkoppeld van de
oplader) te zijn wanneer deze voor langere tijd opgeborgen worden
• De capaciteit van accu’s wordt na verloop van tijd lager. Na 100 laadcyclussen zullen de
gebruiksduur en de maximale koppel van de boormachine lichtelijk verkorten/verlagen.
Na 500 laadcyclussen is de minimale capaciteit van de accu bereikt. Dit is normaal en
duidt niet op een foutieve accu
Het bevestigen van een boor/schroef bit
WAARSCHUWING: Bevestig GEEN bits met een maximale snelheid, lager dan de onbelaste
snelheid van de machine
1. Draai de kraag van de sleutelloze spankop (1) linksom en plaats het bit in de spankop
2. Draai de kraag rechtsom om de spankop te sluiten en het bit te vergrendelen
Let op: Schakel de machine niet in voor het openen of sluiten van de spankop. Selecteer de
middelste (vergrendel) positie met de rotatierichting schakelaar (6)
3. Controleer, wanneer het bit in de spankop vergrendeld is, of het bit centraal roteert. Het
bit dient soepel te roteren. Wanneer het bit niet centraal roteert, verlost u de spankop,
herpositioneert u het bit en vergrendelt u de spankop opnieuw
Rotatierichting controle
• De rotatierichting kan met behulp van de rotatierichting schakelaar (6) veranderd worden
• Voor een rotatierichting rechtsom, duwt u de schakelaar naar links
• Voor een rotatierichting linksom, duwt u de schakelaar naar rechts
• Wanneer de schakelaar in het midden staat is de machine vergrendeld en kan deze niet
ingeschakeld worden
WAARSCHUWING: Verander de schakelaar niet van positie wanneer de machine is
ingeschakeld
Snelheidscontrole
• De machine is voorzien van twee versnellingen:
• 1e versnellingsbereik: 0-500 min-1
• 2e versnellingsbereik: 0-1800 min-1
• Selecteer de gewenste versnelling met gebruik van de versnelling schakelaar (4)
Let op: De eerste versnelling wordt gebruikt voor het indraaien van schroeven en andere
bevestigingsmiddelen met een hoge koppel. De tweede versnelling wordt gebruikt voor
boorwerkzaamheden
Boorstand selectie
• Voor normaal boren selecteert u de juiste versnelling, normaal gesproken versnelling 2,
en draait u de stand keuzeschakelaar (3) zodat het schroef symbool is uitgelijnd met
de indicator op de behuizing
• Voor beton boren selecteert u de juiste versnelling, normaal gesproken versnelling 2, en
draait u de stand keuzeschakelaar (3) zodat het hamer symbool is uitgelijnd met de
indicator op de behuizing
Koppelcontrole
• De boormachine is voorzien van een koppelcontrole. Deze limiteert de koppel uitgang van
de machine om beschadiging bij de ingang van schroeven te voorkomen
• Er zijn 20 koppelstanden en twee boorstanden. Hoe lager het cijfer des te lager de koppel
• Om de koppel aan te passen plaatst u de stand selectieschakelaar (3) zodat het
symbool uitgelijnd is met de indicator op de behuizing
• Draai de koppel stelkraag (2) tot de vereiste stand uitgelijnd is met het schroefsymbool
• Controleer of de instelling juist is door de instelling op een stuk afvalmateriaal te testen
Waarschuwing: De boormachine kan voorzien worden van een aandrijfadapter voor het
indrijven van bouten en moeren. Met de aandrijfadapter bevestigt, gebruikt u de machine
NIET in de boorstand. Gebruik de 20 koppelstanden zodat de machine beschermd wordt
tegen overbelasting. Het gebruik van een moersleutel voor het aan- of losdraaien van de bout/
moer is aangeraden.

Gebruik
WAARSCHUWING: Bij het gebruik van de machine is het dragen van de benodigde
beschermende uitrusting vereist
Het in- en uitschakelen van de machine
• Om de machine te starten knijpt u de trekker schakelaar (13) in. Het LED werklicht (14)
brand
• De rotatiesnelheid wordt geregeld door de trekker schakelaar. Hoe verder de schakelaar
wordt ingeknepen des te hoger de rotatiesnelheid
• Laat de trekker schakelaar los om de machine te stoppen
Let op: De machine schakelt tijdens zwaar gebruik mogelijk automatisch uit dankzij
thermische overbelastingbeveiliging, waardoor de machine mogelijk voor enige tijd niet
ingeschakeld kan worden. Dit duidt niet op een foutieve machine
Boor geleiding
• Gebruik scherpe boor bits en zorg ervoor dat de bits geschikt zijn voor het te boren
materiaal
• De maximale boorcapaciteiten dienen niet overschreden te worden
• Begin het boren langzaam door de trekker schakelaar gedeeltelijk in te drukken
• Verminder de boorsnelheid wanneer de boor het werkstuk bijna doorboort
• Om versplintering bij de doorboring van het werkstuk te voorkomen klemt u een stuk
afval materiaal op de achterzijde van het werkstuk, of boor vanuit de achter zijde van
het werkstuk wanneer de boor het werkstuk net doorboort
Het boren in metaal
• Ondersteun dunne voorwerpen met afvalmateriaal
• Markeer het te boren gat met een hamer en priem
• Gebruik alleen HSS boren of boren aangeraden voor het boren in metaal
• Voordat u grote gaten boort, boort u een klein lei gat
• Gebruikt een juist smeermiddel om de levensduur van de boor verlengen en voor het
verkrijgen van goede resultaten
Het boren in metselwerk en beton
• Bij het boren in metselwerk en beton gebruikt u de machine in de hamerstand
• Gebruik enkel beton boor bits (TCT bits) bij het boren in muren, steen en beton
• Oefen niet te veel druk uit. Wanneer het gat door afvalmateriaal geblokkeerd wordt,
verwijderd u het materiaal met een langzaam lopende machine. Wanneer het materiaal
verwijderd is vervolgt u het boren

Onderhoud
• De machine bestaat uit hoogwaardige materialen en maakt gebruik van de nieuwste
intelligente elektronica welke de machine en alle onderdelen beschermd. Bij normaal
gebruik gaat de machine erg lang mee
Schoonmaak
• Houd uw machine te allen tijde schoon. Vuil en stof kunnen de interne onderdelen snel
doen slijten en zo de levensduur van de machine verminderen. Maak de behuizing van
de machine met een zachte borstel of een droge doek schoon. Blaas wanneer mogelijk
droge perslucht door de ventilatiegaten van de machine.
Opberging
• Berg de machine en accessoires op een droge en veilige plaats, buiten het bereik van
kinderen op
Verwijdering
Bij de verwijdering van elektrische machines neemt u de nationale voorschriften in acht.
• Elektrische en elektronische apparaten en accu’s mogen niet met uw huishoudelijk afval
worden weggegooid
• Neem contact op met uw gemeente voor informatie betreffende de verwijdering van
elektrisch gereedschap
