Thank you for purchasing this GMC tool. This manual contains information necessary for safe and effective
operation of this product. This product has unique features and, even if you are familiar with similar products,

WARNING: Always wear ear protection where the sound level exceeds 85dB(A) and limit the time of exposure
if necessary. If sound levels are uncomfortable, even with ear protection, stop using the tool immediately and
check the ear protection is correctly fitted and provides the correct level of sound attenuation for the level of
sound produced by your tool.
WARNING: User exposure to tool vibration can result in loss of sense of touch, numbness, tingling and
reduced ability to grip. Long-term exposure can lead to a chronic condition. If necessary, limit the length of
time exposed to vibration and use anti-vibration gloves. Do not operate the tool with hands below a normal
comfortable temperature, as vibration will have a greater effect. Use the figures provided in the specification
relating to vibration to calculate the duration and frequency of operating the tool.
Sound and vibration levels in the specification are determined according to international standards. The figures
represent normal use for the tool in normal working conditions. A poorly maintained, incorrectly assembled, or
misused tool, may produce increased levels of noise and vibration.
www.osha.europa.eu provides information on sound and vibration levels in the workplace that may be useful
to domestic users who use tools for long periods of time.
General Safety
WARNING Read all safety warnings and all instructions. Failure to follow the warnings and instructions
may result in electric shock, fire and/or serious injury.
WARNING: This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced, physical
or mental capabilities or lack of experience or knowledge unless they have been given supervision or
instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety. Children must be
supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
Save all warnings and instructions for future reference.
The term "power tool" in the warnings refers to your mains-operated (corded) power tool or battery-operated
(cordless) power tool.
1) Work area safety
a) Keep work area clean and well lit. Cluttered or dark areas invite accidents.
b) Do not operate power tools in explosive atmospheres, such as in the presence of flammable liquids,
gases or dust. Power tools create sparks which may ignite the dust or fumes.
c) Keep children and bystanders away while operating a power tool. Distractions can cause you to lose
control.
2) Electrical safety
a) Power tool plugs must match the outlet. Never modify the plug in any way. Do not use any adapter
plugs with earthed (grounded) power tools. Unmodified plugs and matching outlets will reduce risk of
electric shock.
b) Avoid body contact with earthed or grounded surfaces, such as pipes, radiators, ranges and
refrigerators. There is an increased risk of electric shock if your body is earthed or grounded.
c) Do not expose power tools to rain or wet conditions. Water entering a power tool will increase the risk
of electric shock.
d) Do not abuse the cord. Never use the cord for carrying, pulling or unplugging the power tool. Keep
cord away from heat, oil, sharp edges or moving parts. Damaged or entangled cords increase the risk
of electric shock.
e) When operating a power tool outdoors, use an extension cord suitable for outdoor use. Use of a cord
suitable for outdoor use reduces the risk of electric shock.
f) If operating a power tool in a damp location is unavoidable, use a residual current device (RCD)
protected supply. Use of an RCD reduces the risk of electric shock.
g) When used in Australia or New Zealand, it is recommended that this tool is ALWAYS supplied via Residual
Current Device (RCD) with a rated residual current of 30mA or less.
3) Personal safety
a) Stay alert, watch what you are doing and use common sense when operating a power tool. Do
not use a power tool while you are tired or under the influence of drugs, alcohol or medication. A
moment of inattention while operating power tools may result in serious personal injury.
b) Use personal protective equipment. Always wear eye protection. Protective equipment such as dust
mask, non-skid safety shoes, hard hat, or hearing protection used for appropriate conditions will reduce
personal injuries.
c) Prevent unintentional starting. Ensure the switch is in the off-position before connecting to power
source and/or battery pack, picking up or carrying the tool. Carrying power tools with your finger on
the switch or energising power tools that have the switch on invites accidents.
d) Remove any adjusting key or wrench before turning the power tool on. A wrench or a key left attached
to a rotating part of the power tool may result in personal injury.
e) Do not overreach. Keep proper footing and balance at all times. This enables better control of the
power tool in unexpected situations.
f) Dress properly. Do not wear loose clothing or jewellery. Keep your hair, clothing and gloves away
from moving parts. Loose clothes, jewellery or long hair can be caught in moving parts.
g) If devices are provided for the connection of dust extraction and collection facilities, ensure these
are connected and properly used. Use of dust collection can reduce dust-related hazards.
4) Power tool use and care
a) Do not force the power tool. Use the correct power tool for your application. The correct power tool
will do the job better and safer at the rate for which it was designed.
b) Do not use the power tool if the switch does not turn it on and off. Any power tool that cannot be
controlled with the switch is dangerous and must be repaired.
c) Disconnect the plug from the power source and/or the battery pack from the power tool before
making any adjustments, changing accessories, or storing power tools. Such preventive safety
measures reduce the risk of starting the power tool accidentally.
d) Store idle power tools out of the reach of children and do not allow persons unfamiliar with the
power tool or these instructions to operate the power tool. Power tools are dangerous in the hands of
untrained users.
e) Maintain power tools. Check for misalignment or binding of moving parts, breakage of parts and
any other condition that may affect the power tool’s operation. If damaged, have the power tool
repaired before use. Many accidents are caused by poorly maintained power tools.
f) Keep cutting tools sharp and clean. Properly maintained cutting tools with sharp cutting edges are less
likely to bind and are easier to control.
g) Use the power tool, accessories and tool bits etc. in accordance with these instructions, taking into
account the working conditions and the work to be performed. Use of the power tool for operations
different from those intended could result in a hazardous situation.
5) Battery tool use and care
a) Recharge only with the charger specified by the manufacturer. A charger that is suitable for one type of
battery pack may create a risk of fire when used with another battery pack.
b) Use power tools only with specifically designated battery packs. Use of any other battery packs may
create a risk of injury and fire.
c) When battery pack is not in use, keep it away from other metal objects, like paper clips, coins, keys,
nails, screws or other small metal objects that can make a connection from one terminal to another.
Shorting the battery terminals together may cause burns or a fire. If liquid contacts eyes, additionally
seek medical help. Liquid ejected from the battery may cause irritation or burns.
d) Under abusive conditions, liquid may be ejected from the battery; avoid contact. If contact occurs,
flush with water. If liquid contacts eyes, additionally seek medical help. Liquid ejected from the
battery may cause irritation or burns.
6) Service
a) Have your power tool serviced by a qualified repair person using only identical replacement parts.
This will ensure that the safety of the power tool is maintained.

Additional Safety for SDS Plus Drills
WARNING: If you suspect or discover asbestos is present in any area you are working seek professional
advice immediately. Removal of asbestos should be carried out by a licensed contractor. Contact the HSE in
the UK (www.hse.gov.uk) or your national health and safety authority in your country for further information
about dealing with asbestos. European Directive 2009/148/EC provides additional information related to
exposure to asbestos at work.
• It is imperative to follow all national safety regulations concerning the type of work being undertaken
• Do not allow anyone under the age of 18 years to use this tool, and ensure that operators are qualified
and familiar with the operating and safety instructions
• Masonry drilling or chiselling can create sharp particles that will impact the operator.Wear impact-
resistant safety glasses and protective clothing, including safety boots
• Core drills should only be used with SDS drills featuring a safety clutch to prevent jamming, which could
cause an injury to the operator
• If the safety clutch operates during use, quickly release the trigger and remove the core drill or bit from
the masonry surface being drilled. Do not continue work until the cause of the safety clutch operating
is understood
• Do not operate SDS drills whilst up a ladder or in any location where there is a risk of falling. SDS drills
are heavy and produce strong vibration and high torque in use
• Wear suitable protective anti-vibration gloves that are non-fabric or coated fabric to prevent loose strands
of material catching in the rotating drill bit. Discard gloves immediately if material is visibly frayed
• Drilling can produce large volumes of dust and debris that may be toxic. Wear respiratory protection
suitable for the work being undertaken. A minimum rating of FFP2 is recommended
• SDS drills produce high volumes of noise and suitable ear protection must be worn at all times while
operating the tool
• SDS drills produce a very high level of vibration when operating in hammer or chisel mode. Frequent
breaks are advised
• Only use SDS Chisels or Points with SDS drills that can disengage rotary drilling mode
• Use metal and voltage detectors to locate concealed electric, water or gas lines. Avoid touching live
components or conductors
• Extension cable reels used with this tool must be completely unwound. Minimum conductor cross section:
1.25mm2
• Extension reels used outside should be designed for outdoor use and should feature water-protected
sockets and correct cable insulation
• When using an SDS drill outdoors, an RCD device must be used either by connecting to a socket which
incorporates an RCD, or through use of an inline RCD
• Ensure that the chisel or drill bit is securely fixed in the chuck before operating the tool. Insecure drill bits
can be ejected from the machine, causing a hazard
• Ensure lighting is adequate
• Use both hands when operating this tool
• Always use the auxiliary handle supplied with the tool
• Do not place pressure on the tool - to do so could shorten its service life
• Drill bits become hot during operation. Allow to cool prior to handling
• If you are interrupted when operating the drill, complete the process and switch off before diverting your
attention elsewhere
• Always disconnect the SDS drill from the electric supply before changing a chisel or drill bit
• Examine the chuck regularly for signs of wear or damage. Have damaged parts repaired by a qualified
service centre
• Always wait until the drill has come to a complete stop before placing it down
• On completion of the work, disconnect the tool from the power source and remove the chisel/bit from
the machine
• Periodically check all nuts, bolts and other fixings and tighten where necessary
• Visibly check the tool after use, especially the power cable, which can be damaged by sharp masonry
• Always fit the dust guard to the bit in use to prevent damage from debris entering the SDS chuck
• If operating the tool causes discomfort in any way, stop immediately and review your method of use
Additional Safety for Battery-Operated
Drills
WARNING: Important: It is imperative to follow all national safety regulations concerning installation, operation
and maintenance.
a) DO NOT allow anyone under the age of 18 years to use this tool, and ensure that operators are
qualified and familiar with the operating and safety instructions
b) Wear ear protectors when impact drilling. Exposure to noise can cause hearing loss
c) Use auxiliary handle(s), if supplied with the tool. Loss of control can cause personal injury
d) Hold power tool by insulated gripping surfaces, when performing an operation where the cutting
accessory may contact hidden wiring or its own cord. Cutting accessory contacting a “live” wire may
make exposed metal parts of the power tool “Live” and could give the operator an electric shock
e) Battery chargers are for indoors use only. Ensure that the power supply and charger are protected
against moisture at all times
f) When using the drill, use safety equipment including safety glasses or shield, ear defenders, and
protective clothing including safety gloves. Wear respiratory protection suitable for the work being
undertaken. A minimum rating of FFP2 is recommended. If operating the tool causes discomfort in any way,
stop immediately and review your method of use
g) Use metal and voltage detectors to locate concealed electric, water or gas lines. Avoid touching live
components or conductors
h) Ensure that the lighting is adequate
i) Ensure that the drill bit is securely fixed in the chuck. Insecure drill bits can be ejected from the
machine causing a hazard
j) Ensure that the drill bit is not in contact with the workpiece prior to starting up the tool
k) Before drilling, check that there is sufficient clearance for the drill bit under the workpiece
l) DO NOT exert pressure on to the tool. To do so would shorten its service life
m) Drill bits get hot during operation, allow to cool prior to handling them
n) NEVER use your hands to remove sawdust, chips or waste close by the bit
o) If you are interrupted when operating the drill, complete the process and switch off before looking
up
p) Where possible, use clamps or a vice to hold your work
q) Examine the chuck regularly for signs of wear or damage. Have damaged parts repaired by a qualified
service centre
r) ALWAYS wait until the drill has come to a complete stop before putting it down
s) Periodically check all nuts, bolts and other fixings and tighten where necessary
Battery Safety
WARNING: Li-Ion batteries, if incorrectly used, stored or charged are a fire, burn and explosion hazard.
• Keep the battery out of reach of children
• ONLY charge li-ion batteries using the charger provided or designed specifically for your product
• ONLY use li-ion batteries provided with or specifically designed for use with the product
• Allow batteries to cool for 15 minutes after charging or heavy use. Failure to follow these instructions may
cause overheating or fire
• When not in use batteries should be stored at room temperature (approximately 20˚C)
• Ensure battery contacts cannot accidentally short in storage. Keep batteries clean; foreign objects or
dirt may cause a short. Keep away from other metal objects, for example, paperclips, coins, keys, nails
and screws
• Under abusive conditions, liquid may be ejected from the battery. This liquid may cause skin irritation
or burns. Avoid contact. If contact accidentally occurs, flush with water. If liquid contacts eyes, seek
medical help
• DO NOT open, disassemble, crush, heat above 60°C, or incinerate. Do not dispose of in fire or similar

Battery Charger Safety
Use the battery charger correctly
• Refer to the section of this manual relating to use of the battery charger before attempting to charge
the battery.
• Do not attempt to use the charger with any batteries other than those supplied. Keep your battery charger
clean; foreign objects or dirt may cause a short or block air vents. Failure to follow these instructions may
cause overheating or fire
• If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly
qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard
• Examine the battery charger regularly for damage, especially the cord, plug and enclosure. If the battery
charger is damaged, it must not be used until it has been repaired
• Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance
WARNING: DO NOT attempt to recharge non-rechargeable batteries.
Battery and charger safety features
The battery and charger are fitted with a number of safety features which may be triggered during charging
or operation:
• Over-charge protection: Charger automatically switches off when the battery has reached full charge
capacity, protecting the internal components of the battery
• Over-discharge protection: Prevents the battery from discharging beyond the recommended lowest
safety voltage
• Over-heat protection: Sensor switches off if the battery becomes too hot during operation. This can
happen if the tool is overloaded or being used for extended periods of time. Up to 30 minutes cooling time
may be required depending on the ambient temperature
• Overload protection: Battery temporarily stops if it is overloaded or the maximum current draw is
exceeded, protecting the internal components.The battery will resume normal operation when the current
draw returns to a normal safe level. This may take a few seconds
• Short circuit protection: The battery will stop working immediately if a short circuit occurs, this prevents
damage to the battery or tool

Intended Use
Portable light-duty battery-powered drill optimally designed for drilling masonry. Also capable of drilling wood
and metal with the optional purchase of a standard chuck with SDS Plus connector.
Unpacking Your Tool
• Carefully unpack and inspect your new sander. Familiarise yourself with all its features and functions
• Ensure that all parts of the tool are present and in good condition. If any parts are missing or damaged,
have such parts replaced before attempting to use this tool
Before Use
Removing a battery
• To remove the Battery (11) from the tool, press the Battery Release (12), then slide the Battery out of the
Battery Slot (10)
WARNING: DO NOT try to remove the Battery without pressing the Battery Release button. The tool or Battery
could be damaged.
Fitting a battery
1. To fit a charged battery, slide it on to the Battery Slot (10) of the tool until it clicks and locks into position
Note: Make sure the Battery and tool are lined up correctly. If the Battery does not slide into the tool easily,
don’t force it. Instead, slide the Battery out of the tool again, check the top of Battery and the tool battery slot
are clean and undamaged and that the contacts are not bent.
Setting up the battery charger
1. If fitted, remove any Battery from the Battery Charger (18)
2. Insert the Battery Charger mains plug into a suitable mains socket
Note: The Green LED (19) on the Battery Charger will flash to indicate that the charger is ready to charge
the battery.
WARNING: Use this charger ONLY to charge the supplied battery or additional purchased batteries that are
specifically designed for this tool.
WARNING: The charger is designed for indoor use only, and MUST NOT be used in damp or wet conditions.
Charging the battery
WARNING: Failure to follow the correct procedure when charging batteries will result in permanent damage.
Note: Normal charging time is approximately 1 hour for a recently discharged 3.0Ah capacity battery.
However, if the Battery (11) has been left in a discharged state for some time, it may take additional time to
charge.
1. Slide a fully or partially discharged Battery on to the Battery Charger (18)
Note: Make sure the Battery and Battery Charger are lined up correctly. If the Battery does not slide on to the
Battery Charger easily, don’t force it. Instead, remove the Battery, check the top of Battery and the Battery
Charger slot are clean and undamaged and that the contacts are not bent.
2. Once charging commences, the Red LED (17) will illuminate
3. When the Battery is fully charged, the Green LED (19) will illuminate
Battery Charge Level: The Battery has a built-in Battery Charge Indicator (9) (Fig. I). Pressing on the button
to the right will indicate the charge level. The right LED indicates a high charge level and the left a low charge
level that will mean the battery pack will require charging soon.
IMPORTANT: When a low charge level is indicated, the tool may stop operating while in use. In some
instances this may be dangerous. Always ensure the battery pack has a good charge level.
Notes about battery charging:
• The battery should be charged at ambient temperatures between 10 and 40°C (ideally around 20°C)
• After charging, allow 15 minutes for the battery to cool before use
• Ensure that the charger is disconnected from the mains supply after use, and is stored correctly
• DO NOT leave batteries on charge for extended periods and NEVER store batteries on charge
• The Battery Charger monitors battery temperature and voltage while charging. Remove the Battery once
charging has been completed to maximise charge cycles of the battery and not waste power

• Batteries can become faulty over time, individual cells in the battery can fail and the battery could short.
The charger will not charge faulty batteries. Use another battery, if possible, to check correct functionality
of the charger and purchase a replacement battery if a faulty battery is indicated
• DO NOT store lithium-ion battery packs in a discharged state long term. This can damage the lithium-ion
cells. For long-term storage, store batteries in a high charge state disconnected from the power tool
• The capacity of batteries will reduce over time. After 100 charge cycles, the battery’s operation time and
the maximum torque performance of the driver will slightly reduce. This decline will continue until the
battery has minimal capacity after 500 charge cycles. This is normal and not a fault with the battery pack
Operation
Auxiliary handle
• The Auxiliary Handle (1) should always be used
• The Auxiliary Handle angle can be adjusted to best suit the work to be performed
• To adjust the Auxiliary Handle:
1. Rotate the grip anti-clockwise. This will loosen the handle assembly
2. Move the Auxiliary handle to the required position
Secure in position by rotating the grip clockwise
Depth stop
1. Rotate the grip anti-clockwise. This will loosen the handle assembly
2. Move the Depth Stop (16) to the required position
Secure in position by rotating the grip clockwise
Operating the chuck
• This drill has a chuck designed for SDS Plus drill bits
• The SDS Plus system allows bits to be inserted with a simple push-fit action
• Always grease the tail end of SDS bits. Bits should be freshly greased and free from dirt and dust
before use
• To insert a drill bit:
1. Pull back the Chuck Collar (14) and hold
2. Insert SDS Plus drill bit fully into the Chuck (15). Use a twisting motion to line up the grooves in the
accessory
3. Release the Chuck Collar
4. The bit should now be locked into the machine. Check by pulling the bit; if the bit can be removed, repeat
the above procedure until secure
• To remove a bit from the Chuck, pull the Chuck Collar back, and pull firmly on the drill bit
WARNING: Never fit any attachment with a maximum speed lower than the no load speed of the machine
Hammer selection
• The drill can be used in either hammer drill mode (for masonry work), or conventional rotary drill mode (for
wood, metal, plastics etc) with the purchase of a standard chuck to SDS Plus adaptor
• To select hammer drilling mode, depress the Mode Selector Release (3) on the Mode Selector (2) and align
the Mode Selector with the symbol
• To select rotary drilling mode, depress the button on the Mode Selector Release on the Mode Selector and
align the Mode Selector with the symbol
• Do not attempt to move the Mode Selector whilst the drill is running
Operating instructions
IMPORTANT: Put on all safety equipment required before you operate this drill
Trigger switch
• Always hold the drill firmly using both hands
• To start the drill, squeeze the Trigger (8)
• To stop the drill, release the Trigger
Selecting forward or reverse rotation
• The direction of the drill can be changed using the Forward/Reverse Switch (7)
• To run the drill in a clockwise direction, position the Forward/Reverse Switch on the left, adjacent to the
symbol
• To run the drill in an anti-clockwise direction, position the Forward/Reverse Switch on the right, adjacent to
the symbol
• Do not attempt to move the Forward/Reverse Switch whilst the drill is running
• Do not attempt to run the drill with the Forward/Reverse Switch in mid position
Speed Control
• The speed of the drill is controlled by the pressure applied to the Trigger (8). The further the Trigger is
depressed the higher the speed
Gear selection

NOTE: ALWAYS read the documentation provided with drill bits and accessories for the recommended or
maximum speed setting and use the most appropriate gear. See ‘Specification’ for the maximum no load
speed of each gear.
Drilling concrete
• Using hammer drill mode, apply pressure to the rear of the drill, in line with the drill bit
• For efficient drilling, it is advisable to use TCT (tungsten carbide tipped) drill bits. Ensure that drill bit size is
within the maximum capacity of the drill (see ‘Specification’)
• Do not apply too much pressure if debris blocks the drill hole. Run the drill slowly, and remove the bit from
the hole. Repeat until hole is cleared
IMPORTANT: The following instructions relate to functions of the drill only available with the additional
purchase of a standard chuck adaptor or bit holder adapter.
Using a chuck adaptor
1. Insert standard chuck adaptor into Chuck (15)
2. Use rotary drill mode only
3. Fit drill bit into chuck and tighten securely
4. Make sure the drill bit runs centrally before use. If not, re-fit bit
Drilling wood
• Ensure that drill bits are suitable for wood, and are within the maximum capacity of this drill (see
‘Specification’)
Drilling metal
• To ensure accuracy, mark the intended hole position using a hammer and centre punch
• Ensure that drill bits are suitable for the grade of metal being drilled, and are within the maximum capacity
of the drill (see ‘Specification’)
• To ensure efficient cutting, and prolong drill bit life, use a suitable lubricant or cutting fluid
CAUTION
• Applying excess pressure does not result in faster or more efficient drilling. If the pressure applied to the
drill has a noticeable effect on the speed of the drill then reduce the pressure. Overloading the drill will
reduce its service life
• As the drill bit penetrates the material being drilled, it may 'catch' or 'snag'. This can cause the machine to
suddenly 'kick', to prevent any possibility of injury always hold the drill securely, use the Auxiliary handle,
and use sharp drill bits
• Always ensure that material is secure. If appropriate use a vice or clamp to hold the work, always keep two
hands on the drill

Screwdriver use
1. Fit a ¼” (6.35mm) screwdriver bit holder to SDS Plus adaptor into the Chuck (15)
2. Select gear 1 using the Gear Switch (4)
3. Rotate the Mode Selector (2) to Drill
IMPORTANT: This drill is not optimally configured for driving screws and should only be used for driving
screws partially into or out of material to speed up operation.
• Drive screws into material until the screw head is no less than 10mm above the material or the drill slows
due to resistance. Ensure the tool motor and gearing is not under excessive strain
• Remove screws by first unscrewing by hand until only light resistance to turning is felt, then fully remove
with the drill

WAARSCHUWING: Bij een geluidsintensiteit van 85 dB(A) of hoger is het dragen van gehoorbescherming en
het limiteren van de blootstellingstijd vereist. Bij oncomfortabel hoge geluidsniveaus, zelfs met het dragen
van gehoorbescherming, stopt u het gebruik van de machine onmiddellijk. Controleer de pasvorm en het
geluiddempingsniveau van de bescherming.
WAARSCHUWING: Blootstelling aan trilling resulteert mogelijk in gevoelloosheid, tinteling en een vermindert
gripvermogen. Langdurige blootstelling kan leiden tot chronische condities. Limiteer de blootstellingsduur en
draag anti-vibratie handschoenen. Vibratie heeft een grotere invloed op handen met een temperatuur lager
dan een normale, comfortabele temperatuur. Maak gebruik van de informatie in de specificaties voor het
bereken van de gebruiksduur en frequentie van de machine.
Geluids- en trillingsniveaus in de specificaties zijn bepaald in overeenstemming met internationale normen. De
waarden gelden voor een normaal gebruik in normale werkomstandigheden. Een slecht onderhouden, onjuist
samengestelde of onjuist gebruikte machine produceert mogelijk hogere geluids- en trillingsniveaus. www.
osha.europa.eu biedt informatie met betrekking tot geluids- en trillingsniveaus op de werkplek wat mogelijk
nuttig is voor regelmatige gebruikers van machines.
Algemene veiligheid voor elektrisch ger-
eedschap
WAARSCHUWING Lees alle bediening- en veiligheidsvoorschriften. Het niet opvolgen van alle
voorschriften die hieronder vermeld staan, kan resulteren in een elektrische schok, brand en/of ernstig letsel.
WAARSCHUWING: De machine is niet geschikt voor gebruik door personen (inclusief kinderen) met
een verminderde mentale of fysieke gesteldheid of een gebrek aan ervaring, tenzij de persoon wordt
begeleid of geïnstrueerd door een persoon verantwoordelijk voor de veiligheid. Kinderen mogen niet
met de machine spelen
Bewaar deze voorschriften voor toekomstig gebruik.
De term “elektrisch gereedschap” in alle hieronder vermelde waarschuwingen heeft betrekking op uw
elektrische gereedschap dat op de stroom is aangesloten (met een snoer) of met een accu wordt gevoed
(snoerloos).
1) Veiligheid in de werkruimte
a) Houd de werkruimte schoon en zorg voor een goede verlichting. Rommelige en donkere ruimtes
leiden vaak tot ongelukken.
b) Werk niet met elektrisch gereedschap in explosieve omgevingen, bijvoorbeeld in de aanwezigheid
van ontvlambare vloeistoffen, gassen of stof. Elektrisch gereedschap brengt vonken teweeg die stof of
dampen kunnen doen ontbranden.
c) Houd kinderen en omstanders uit de buurt wanneer u elektrisch gereedschap bedient. Door
afleiding kunt u de controle over het gereedschap verliezen.
2) Elektrische veiligheid
a) De stekkers van het elektrische gereedschap moeten passen bij het stopcontact. Pas de stekker
niet aan. Gebruik geen adapterstekkers bij geaard elektrisch gereedschap. Het gebruik van
ongewijzigde stekkers en passende stopcontacten vermindert het risico op een elektrische schok.
b) Vermijd lichamelijk contact met geaarde oppervlakken zoals pijpen, radiatoren, fornuizen en
koelkasten. Het risico op een elektrische schok neemt toe als uw lichaam geaard wordt.
c) Laat elektrisch gereedschap niet nat worden. Wanneer elektrisch gereedschap nat wordt, neemt het
risico op een elektrische schok toe.
d) Beschadig het snoer niet. Gebruik het snoer nooit om het elektrisch gereedschap te dragen, te
trekken of om de stekker uit het stopcontact te trekken. Houd het snoer uit de buurt van hitte, olie,
scherpe randen of bewegende delen. Een beschadigde of in de knoop geraakte snoer verhoogt het
risico op een elektrische schok toe.
e) Wanneer u elektrisch gereedschap buiten gebruikt, maak dan gebruik van een verlengsnoer
dat geschikt is voor gebruik buitenshuis. Gebruik een verlengsnoer dat geschikt is voor gebruik
buitenshuis om het risico op een elektrische schok te verminderen.
f) Indien het onvermijdelijk is elektrisch gereedschap te gebruiken in een vochtige omgeving, gebruik
dan een energiebron met een aardlekschakelaar (Residual Currency Device). Het gebruik van een
RCD vermindert het risico op een elektrische schok.
WAARSCHUWING: Bij het gebruik in Australië of Nieuw-Zeeland, is het aanbevolen de machine te allen tijde
met gebruik van een aardlekschakelaar met een maximale lekstroom van 30 mA te gebruiken.
3) Persoonlijke veiligheid
a) Blijf alert en gebruik uw gezonde verstand wanneer u elektrisch gereedschap bedient. Gebruik
het elektrisch gereedschap niet wanneer u vermoeid bent of onder invloed bent van drugs, alcohol
of medicijnen. Onoplettendheid tijdens het bedienen van elektrisch gereedschap kan leiden tot ernstig
letsel.
b) Maak gebruik van persoonlijke bescherming. Draag altijd een veiligheidsbril. Passende
bescherming voor de omstandigheden, zoals een stofmasker, niet-slippende veiligheidsschoenen een
helm of gehoorbescherming, vermindert het risico op persoonlijk letsel.
c) Zorg ervoor dat het apparaat niet per ongeluk wordt gestart. Controleer of de schakelaar in de ‘uit’
stand staat voordat u de stekker in het stopcontact steekt. Het dragen van elektrisch gereedschap
met uw vinger op de schakelaar of het aansluiten op de stroom van elektrisch gereedschap met de
schakelaar ingeschakeld kan tot ongelukken leiden.
d) Verwijder alle stel- of moersleutels voordat u het elektrische gereedschap inschakelt. Een moer- of
stelsleutel die zich op een draaiend onderdeel van het elektrische gereedschap bevindt, kan leiden tot
letsel.
e) Reik niet te ver. Blijf altijd stevig en in balans staan. Zo houdt u meer controle over het elektrische
gereedschap in onverwachte situaties.
f) Draag geschikte kleding. Draag geen loshangende kleding of sieraden. Houd haren, kleding en
handschoenen uit de buurt van bewegende delen. Loshangende kleding, sieraden en los hangende
haren kunnen vast komen te zitten in bewegende delen.
g) Als er onderdelen voor stofafvoer- en stofverzameling worden meegeleverd, sluit deze dan aan en
gebruik deze op de juiste wijze. Het gebruik van deze onderdelen kan het risico op stof gerelateerde
ongelukken verminderen.
4) Gebruik en verzorging van elektrisch gereedschap
a) Forceer elektrisch gereedschap niet. Gebruik elektrisch gereedschap dat geschikt is voor het werk
dat u wilt uitvoeren. Geschikt elektrisch gereedschap werkt beter en veiliger op een passende snelheid.
b) Gebruik het elektrische gereedschap niet als de schakelaar van het apparaat niet in- en
uitschakelt. Elektrisch gereedschap dat niet bediend kan worden met de schakelaar is gevaarlijk en
moet gerepareerd worden.
c) Haal de stekker uit het stopcontact voordat u instellingen aanpast, toebehoren verwisselt of het
elektrische gereedschap opbergt. Dergelijke voorzorgsmaatregelen verminderen het risico op het per
ongeluk starten van het elektrische gereedschap.
d) Berg elektrisch gereedschap dat niet in gebruik is op buiten bereik van kinderen en laat mensen
die niet bekend zijn met het elektrische gereedschap of met deze instructies het elektrische
gereedschap niet bedienen. Elektrisch gereedschap is gevaarlijk in de handen van onervaren
gebruikers.
e) Onderhoud uw elektrisch gereedschap. Controleer op foutieve uitlijning of het vastslaan van
bewegende delen, gebroken onderdelen en elke andere afwijking die de werking van het
elektrische gereedschap zou kunnen beïnvloeden. Indien het elektrische gereedschap beschadigd
is, moet u het laten repareren voordat u het weer gebruikt. Veel ongelukken worden veroorzaakt door
slecht onderhouden elektrisch gereedschap.
f) Houd snijwerktuigen scherp en schoon. Goed onderhouden snijwerktuigen met scherpe messen
slaan minder snel vast en zijn gemakkelijker te bedienen.
g) Gebruik het elektrische gereedschap, de accessoires en onderdelen, etc. volgens deze instructies
en volgens bestemming voor het specifieke type elektrisch gereedschap, en houd daarbij rekening
met de werkomstandigheden en het uit te voeren werk. Gebruik van elektrisch gereedschap voor
werkzaamheden die verschillen van die waarvoor het apparaat bestemd is, kan leiden tot gevaarlijke
situaties.
5) Accu machine gebruik en onderhoud
a) Laad de accu enkel met de door de fabrikant gespecificeerde accu op. Het gebruik van een accu,
geschikt voor één accusoort, voor een andere accusoort resulteert mogelijk in brand
b) Gebruik accu machines enkel met specifiek bedoelde accu’s. Het gebruik van andere accu’s
resulteert mogelijk in persoonlijk letsel en brand

c) Wanneer een accu niet gebruik is, houdt u deze uit de buurt van metalen voorwerpen als
paperclips, munten, spijkers, schroeven, etc. Het kortsluiten van een accu resulteert mogelijk in
brand Wanneer accuvloeistoffen in uw ogen terecht komt, zoekt u onmiddellijk medische hulp.
Accuvloeistoffen veroorzaken mogelijk irritatie en brandend gevoel
d) Misbruik van de accu resulteert mogelijk in vloeistof uitstoot. Voorkom contact. Spoel, wanneer
contact plaatsgevonden heeft, onmiddellijk met water. Wanneer de vloeistof in uw ogen terecht komt
zoekt u onmiddellijk medische hulp. Accuvloeistoffen veroorzaken mogelijk irritatie en brandend gevoel
6) Onderhoud
a) Laat uw elektrische gereedschap onderhouden door een gekwalificeerde vakman en gebruik alleen
identieke vervangstukken. Zo bent u er zeker van dat de veiligheid van het elektrische gereedschap
gewaarborgd blijft.
Veiligheid voor SDS-Plus boormachines
WAARSCHUWING: Bij de aanwezigheid van asbest, tracht u onmiddellijk professionele hulp. Het verwijderen
van asbest dient uitgevoerd te worden door een geautoriseerd persoon. Neem contact op met uw lokale
autoriteit voor meer informatie betreft de verwijdering van asbest. De Europese richtlijn 2009/148/EG voorziet
informatie betreft de blootstelling aan asbest op de werkplek.
• Het is noodzakelijk alle nationale veiligheidsregels met betrekking tot het uit te voeren werk na te leven
• Laat personen jonger dan 18 jaar de boorhamer niet gebruiken. Tevens horen alle gebruikers met de
gebruik- en veiligheidsinstructies bekend te zijn
• Het boren in beton en beitelen creëert mogelijk scherpe afvaldeeltjes. Draag de benodigde beschermende
uitrusting waaronder een veiligheidsbril en beschermende schoenen
• Kernboren horen enkel op boormachines met een veiligheidskoppeling gebruikt te worden. Zo wordt
vastlopen, wat persoonlijk letsel kan veroorzaken, voorkomen
• Wanneer de veiligheidskoppeling tijdens gebruik ingrijpt, laat u de trekker schakelaar los en haalt u de
boor uit het werkoppervlak. Vindt de oorzaak van ingrijpen
• Gebruik de machine niet op een trap/ladder of op een locatie met valgevaar. SDS-Plus boormachines zijn
erg zwaar en produceren sterke trillingen
• Draag geschikte beschermende handschoenen zonder loshangende vezels die door het roteren bit
gegrepen kunnen worden. Gooi handschoenen met rafelig materiaal onmiddellijk weg
• Boren brengt mogelijk een grote hoeveelheid stof met zich mee. Draag een geschikt stofmasker met een
minimale waarde van FFP2
• Boormachines produceren hoge geluidsniveaus. Het dragen van geschikte gehoorbescherming is vereist
• Boormachines produceren hoge trillingsniveaus. Neem regelmatig pauze
• Gebruik SDS-Plus beitels enkel met boormachines waarop de rotatie boorfunctie uitgeschakeld kan
worden
• Gebruik metaal- en spanningszoekers voor het vinden van verborgen water- , gas- en/of elektrische
leidingen. Vermijdt het contact met componenten die onder spanning staan
• Verlengkabels die in combinatie met de boorhamer gebruikt worden horen volledig afgerold te worden.
Minimale aderdikte: 1,25 mm2
• Wanneer de boorhamer buiten gebruikt wordt, maakt u gebruik van verlengkabels, ontworpen voor buiten
gebruik met waterdichte stekkers en de juiste kabelisolatie
• Wanneer de boorhamer buiten gebruikt wordt, sluit u deze aan op een stroombron met een
aardlekschakelaar
• Zorg ervoor dat beitel of boor bits stevig in de span kop vast zitten. Losse bits kunnen losschieten en
ongelukken veroorzaken
• Zorg voor een goede verlichting
• Houdt de machine stevig, met beide handen vast
• Het hulphandvat dient te allen tijd gebruikt te worden
• Oefen geen druk op de machine uit – dit kan de levensduur van de machine aanzienlijk verkorten
• Boor bits worden erg heet tijdens gebruik. Laat ze na gebruik afkoelen
• Wanneer u tijdens het gebruik van de boorhamer gestoord wordt, maakt u het werk af en schakelt u de
machine uit voordat u opkijkt
• Ontkoppel de stekker van het stopcontact voordat bits gewisseld worden
• Controleer de spankop regelmatig op tekenen van slijtage en/of schade. Beschadigde onderdelen horen
door een gekwalificeerd persoon vervangen te worden
• Wacht met het neerleggen van de boor totdat deze volledig tot stilstand is gekomen
• Wanneer het werk voltooid is, ontkoppelt u de stekker van het stopcontact en verwijdert u de beitel/bit
uit de span kop
• Controleer bouten, moeren en andere bevestigingsmiddelen regelmatig en draai deze wanneer nodig aan
• Controleer de machine na gebruik. Het stroomsnoer kan door scherpe betonstukken beschadigen
• Bevestig de stofkap op het te gebruiken bit om de ingang van stof in de spankop te voorkomen
• Wanneer het gebruik van de machine oncomfortabel is herziet u de gebruikswijze
Veiligheid voor accuboormachines
Belangrijk: Het is noodzakelijk alle nationale veiligheidsregels met betrekking tot installatie, gebruik en
onderhoud op te volgen
a) Laat personen jonger dan 18 jaar de boorhamer niet gebruiken. Tevens horen alle gebruikers met de
gebruik- en veiligheidsinstructies bekend te zijn
b) Draag gehoorbescherming bij het gebruik in de hamerstand. Blootstelling aan hoge geluidsniveaus
resulteert mogelijk in gehoorbeschadiging
c) Gebruik wanneer mogelijk de hulphandvaten. Het verliezen van de controle over de machine resulteert
mogelijk in persoonlijk letsel
d) Houdt de machine bij de geïsoleerde grip vast, wanneer de machine tijdens gebruik in contact kan
komen met stroomdraad. Aanraking met stroomdraad kan resulteren in elektrische schok
e) Opladers zijn enkel geschikt voor binnen gebruik. Zorg ervoor dat de stroombron en oplader te allen
tijde beschermt zijn tegen vocht
f) Bij het gebruik van de boorhamer is de volgende veiligheidsuitrusting verplicht: veiligheidsbril,
gehoorbescherming en handschoenen. Wanneer het boren stof produceert draagt u een
stofmasker. Een minimale waardering van FFP2 is aanbevolen. Wanneer het gebruik van de machine op
enige wijze voor ongemak zorgt, stopt u het werk onmiddellijk.
g) Gebruik metaal- en spanningszoekers voor het vinden van verborgen water- , gas- en/of
elektrische leidingen. Vermijdt het contact met componenten die onder spanning staan
h) Zorg voor een goede verlichting
i) Zorg ervoor dat beitel of boor bits stevig in de boorhouder vast zitten. Losse bits kunnen losschieten
en ongelukken veroorzaken
j) Breng het bit in contact met het werkstuk voordat u de machine start
k) Controleer voordat u begint met boren of er genoeg vrije ruimte is onder het werkstuk
l) Oefen geen druk op de boorhamer uit waar dit de levensduur verslechterd
m) Boor bits worden tijdens gebruik erg heet. Laat ze na gebruik afkoelen.
n) Verwijder zaagsel of vuil dicht bij het boor bit niet met uw handen
o) Wanneer u tijdens het gebruik van de boorhamer gestoord wordt, maakt u het werk af en schakelt
u de machine uit voordat u opkijkt
p) Maak wanneer mogelijk gebruik van klemmen of bankschroeven voor het klemmen van het
werkstuk
q) Controleer de boorhouder regelmatig op tekenen van slijtage en/of schade. Beschadigde onderdelen
horen door een gekwalificeerd persoon vervangen te worden
r) Wacht met het neerleggen van de boor totdat deze volledig tot stilstand is gekomen
s) Controleer bouten, moeren en andere bevestigingsmiddelen regelmatig en draai deze wanneer

Accu veiligheid
WAARSCHUWING: Li-ion accu's, wanneer onjuist gebruikt, opgeborgen of opgeladen, zijn een brand- en
explosiegevaar
• Houdt de accu uit de buurt van kinderen
• Laad Li-ion accu’s enkel op met de oplader, inbegrepen bij het product of speciaal ontworpen voor uw
product
• Gebruik enkel Li-ion accu’s inbegrepen bij uw product of speciaal ontworpen voor compatibiliteit
• Laat accu’s na het opladen of na zwaar gebruik 15 minuten afkoelen om oververhitting en brand te
voorkomen
• Wanneer niet in gebruik dienen accu’s op kamertemperatuur (ongeveer 20°C) opgeborgen te worden
• Zorg ervoor dat de accu, wanneer opgeborgen, geen kortsluiting kan veroorzaken. Houdt accu’s schoon;
vreemde voorwerpen kunnen kortsluiting veroorzaken. Houdt accu’s uit de buurt van metalen voorwerpen
als paperclips, muntjes, sleutels, etc.

• Bij verkeerd gebruik kan vloeistof uit de accu lekken. De vloeistof veroorzaakt mogelijk huidirritatie
brandwonden. Wanneer de vloeistof in contact komt met de huid spoelt u uw huid onmiddellijk met water.
Wanneer de vloeistof in de ogen terecht komt zoekt u onmiddellijk medische hulp
• Open, demonteer, breek, verwarm (boven 60°C) en verbrand accu’s niet. Gooi accu’s niet in het vuur
Acculader veiligheid
Juist gebruik van de oplader
• Raadpleeg het deel in deze handleiding wat betrekking heeft op het gebruik van de oplader, voor het
opladen van de accu.
• Gebruik de oplader niet in combinatie met een accu, anders dan die verstrekt bij de machine. Houd
de oplader schoon; stof en/of vuil kan leiden tot kortsluiting en een geblokkeerde ventilatie wat kan
resulteren in oververhitting en/of brand
• Wanneer het stroomsnoer beschadigt is, laat u deze door de fabrikant vervangen om gevaren te
voorkomen
• Controleer de oplader regelmatig op schade, vooral het stroomsnoer en de stekker. Gebruik een
beschadigde oplader niet totdat deze gerepareerd is
• Kinderen mogen niet met de oplader spelen
Waarschuwing: Herlaad geen niet-oplaadbare accu’s
Accu en oplader veiligheidskenmerken
De accu en de oplader zijn voorzien van een aantal veiligheidskenmerken die tijdens het gebruik mogelijk
ingrijpen:
• Overlaad bescherming: De oplader stopt onmiddellijk wanneer de accu volledig opgeladen is, om de
interne onderdelen van de accu te beschermen
• Ontlading bescherming: Voorkomt dat de accu verder ontlaad dan de minimale veilige laadstatus
• Oververhittingsbescherming: Een sensor schakelt uit wanneer de accu tijdens het gebruik te warm
wordt. Dit kan gebeuren wanneer de accu overbelast wordt of voor lange periodes gebruikt wordt. De
maximale afkoeltijd voor de accu bedraagt 30 minuten, afhankelijk van de omgevingstemperatuur
• Overbelasting bescherming: De accu stopt tijdelijk wanneer deze overbelast wordt of wanneer de
maximale elektrische stroomvraag overschreden wordt om de interne onderdelen van de accu te
beschermen. De accu werkt normaal wanneer de stroomvraag naar een veilig niveau daalt. Dit duurt
mogelijk een aantal seconden
• Kortsluiting bescherming: In geval van kortsluiting stopt de accu onmiddellijk

Gebruiksdoel
Draagbare, ‘Light-Duty’, accu aangedreven boormachine, optimaal ontworpen voor het boren in beton. Tevens
geschikt voor het boren in hout en metaal, met gebruik van een geschikte spankop met SDS-Plus aansluiting
Het uitpakken van uw gereedschap
• Pak uw toestel / gereedschap uit. Inspecteer het en zorg dat u met alle kenmerken en functies vertrouwd
raakt
• Controleer of alle onderdelen aanwezig zijn en in goede staat verkeren. Als er onderdelen ontbreken of
beschadigd zijn, zorg dan dat deze vervangen worden voor u dit toestel / gereedschap gebruikt
Voor gebruik
Het verwijderen van de accu
• Om de accu (11) van de machine te verwijderen drukt u de verlosschakel (12) in en schuift u de accu uit de
accugleuven (10)
WAARSCHUWING: Probeer de accu niet te ontkoppelen zonder het indrukken van de verlosschakel. De accu
en de machine raken zo mogelijk beschadigd
Het aansluiten van een opgeladen accu
1. Schuif de opgeladen accu in de accugleuven (10) van de machine tot deze in positie klikt
Let op: Zorg ervoor dat de machine en de accu juist zijn uitgelijnd. De accu dient gemakkelijk in de machine
te schuiven. Forceer de accu niet. Wanneer de accu niet soepel in de machine schuift, controleert u de accu,
de machine gleuven en de contactpunten voordat u het opnieuw probeert
Het opzetten van de oplader
1. Wanneer een accu is aangesloten, ontkoppeld u deze van de oplader (18)
2. Steek de stekker van de oplader in een geschikt stopcontact
Let op: Het groene LED lampje (19) op de accueenheid brandt wanneer de oplader in staat is de accu op te
laden
WAARSCHUWING: Gebruik de oplader enkel voor het opladen van de inbegrepen accu, of voor aangeschafte
accu’s, specifiek ontworpen voor de machine
WAARSCHUWING: De oplader is enkel geschikt voor binnen gebruik en dient niet in vochtige omstandigheden
gebruikt te worden
Het opladen van de accu
WAARSCHUWING: Wanneer de instructies niet opgevolgd worden raakt de accu mogelijk permanent
beschadigd
Let op: De normale laadtijd van een onlangs ontladen 3,0 Ah accu bedraagt ongeveer één uur. De laadtijd van
accu’s die voor langere tijd ontladen is mogelijk langer
1. Schuif de ontladen/gedeeltelijk ontladen accu op de oplader (18)
Let op: Zorg ervoor dat de accu en de oplader juist zijn uitgelijnd. De accu dient gemakkelijk in de oplader te
schuiven. Forceer de accu niet. Wanneer de accu niet soepel op de oplader schuift, controleert u de accu, de
oplader gleuven en de contactpunten voordat u het opnieuw probeert
2. Wanneer het opladen start brandt het rode LED lampje (17)
3. Wanneer de accu volledig is opgeladen brand enkel het groene LED lampje (19)
Accu laadniveau: De accu is voorzien van een ingebouwde laadniveau indicator (9) (Fig. I).Wanneer u de
knop indrukt wordt het laadniveau weergegeven. Het rechtse LED lampje duidt op een hoog laadniveau en het
linkse LED lampje duidt op een laag laadniveau. Wanneer het linker lampje brand dient de accu opgeladen
te worden
BELANGRIJK: Een accu met een lag laadniveau stopt mogelijk tijdens het gebruik van de machine. Dit is
mogelijk gevaarlijk. Zorg ervoor dat de accu voorzien is van voldoende lading

Opmerkingen betreft het opladen van de accu:
• De accu dient bij een omgevingstemperatuur tussen de 10 en 40°C (dicht bij 20°C is ideaal) opgeladen te
worden
• Na het opladen vereist de accu een afkoelperiode van 15 minuten
• Zorg ervoor dat de oplader na het opladen van de stroombron wordt ontkoppeld en juist wordt opgeborgen
• Laad accu’s NOOIT voor langere periodes op en berg accu’s NOOIT op wanneer deze worden opgeladen
• De oplader houdt de temperatuur en spanning van de accu constant in de gaten. Ontkoppel de accu
wanneer deze volledig is opgeladen, om de laadcyclussen te optimaliseren en het verspillen van energie te
voorkomen
• Accu’s kunnen na verloop van tijd stuk raken, individuele cellen breken wat leidt tot kortsluiting in de accu.
De oplader laadt zulke accu’s niet op. Gebruik de andere accu om de werking van de oplader te controleren
en schaf een nieuwe accu aan
• Li-ion accu’s mogen niet voor langere tijd ontladen opgeborgen worden. Dit beschadigt de Li-ion
accucellen mogelijk. Accu’s dienen volledig opgeladen (ontkoppeld van de oplader) te zijn wanneer deze
voor langere tijd opgeborgen worden
• De capaciteit van accu’s wordt na verloop van tijd lager. Na 100 laadcyclussen zullen de gebruiksduur en
de maximale koppel van de machine lichtelijk verkorten/verlagen. Na 500 laadcyclussen is de minimale
capaciteit van de accu bereikt. Dit is normaal en duidt niet op een foutieve accu
Gebruik
Hulphandvat
• Het hulphandvat (1) dient te allen tijde gebruikt te worden
• De hoek van het hulphandvat kan versteld worden, passend bij het uit te voeren werk
• Voor het verstellen van het hulphandvat:
1. Draait u de grip linksom. Dit verlost het handvat
2. Plaats het hulphandvat in de gewenste positie
3. Draait u de grip rechtsom om het handvat te vergrendelen
Dieptestop
1. Draai de grip linksom om het handvat te ontgrendelen
2. Plaats de dieptestop (16) in de gewenste positie
3. Draai de grip rechtsom om het handvat en zo de dieptestop te vergrendelen
De spankop
• De boor is voorzien van een spankop, geschikt voor SDS-Plus boor bits
• Dankzij het SDS-Plus system zijn bits gemakkelijk in de spankop te drukken
• Smeer het staarteinde van de bits. Bits dienen schoon te zijn wanneer deze met de machine gebruikt
worden
• Voor het plaatsen van een boor bit:
1. Trek de spankopkraag (14) naar achteren
2. Plaats het bit volledig in de spankop (15). Lijn de groeven in het accessoire uit met de spankop
3. Laat de kraag los
4. Het bit dient nu in de spankop vergrendelt te zijn. Controleer door het bit uit de spankop te proberen te
trekken. Wanneer het bit niet goed vast zit herhaalt u bovenstaande stappen
• Om het bit te verwijderen trekt u de kraag naar achter en neemt u het bit uit de spankop
WAARSCHUWING: Gebruik geen accessoires met een lagere maximale snelheid dan de onbelaste snelheid
van de machine
Hamerstand
• De machine kan zowel in de hamerboor stand (voegwerk), als in de gebruikelijke rotatieboor stand (hout,
metaal etc.) gebruikt worden, met de aankoop van een standaard SDS-Plus adapter
• Voor het gebruik van de hamerboorstand drukt u de stand selectieknop ontgrendelknop (3) in en lijnt u de
stand selectieknop (2) met het symbool uit
• Voor het gebruik van de rotatieboorstand drukt u de stand selectieknop ontgrendelknop (3) in en lijnt u de
stand selectieknop (2) met het symbool uit
• Probeer de selectieknop tijdens het gebruik van de machine niet te verzetten
Gebruiksinstructies
BELANGRIJK: Tijdens het gebruik van de machine is het dragen van de geschikte beschermende uitrusting
aanbevolen
Trekker schakelaar
• Houdt de machine te allen tijde stevig met beide handen vast
• Om de machine te starten knijpt u de trekker schakelaar (8) in
• Om de machine te stoppen laat u de trekker schakelaar los
Rotatierichting selectie
• De rotatierichting van de boor kan versteld worden met de rotatierichting schakelaar (7)
• Om de boor rechtsom te laten draaien plaatst u de schakelaar naar links, in lijn met het bijpassende
symbool
• Om de boor linksom te laten draaien plaatst u de schakelaar naar rechts, in lijn met het bijpassende
symbool
• Probeer de schakelaar tijdens het gebruik van de machine niet te verzetten
• Probeer de machine niet in te schakelen wanneer de schakelaar tussen de twee standen in staat
Snelheidscontrole
• De snelheid van de machine wordt bepaald met de trekker schakelaar. Knijp de schakelaar verder in om de
snelheid te verhogen
Versnellingselectie
• Selecteer versnelling 1 voor lage snelheden met hoge koppel, geschikt voor langzaam boren en het in- en
uitdraaien van schroeven
• Selecteer versnelling 2 voor hoge snelheden met lage koppel, enkel geschikt voor boren op hoge snelheid
Let op: Lees de documentatie van gebruikte accessoires door voor het verkrijgen van de aanbevolen of
maximale snelheidsinstellingen en de meest geschikte versnelling. Verwijs naar de specificaties voor de
maximale onbelaste snelheid voor elke versnelling
Het boren in beton
• Gebruik de machine in de hamerstand en oefen druk op de achterzijde van de machine uit, in lijn met de
boor
• Voor efficiënt boren maakt u gebruik van TCT boor bits. Zorg ervoor dat de boor bit maat binnen de
maximale capaciteit van de machine valt (Zie: ‘Specificaties’)
• Oefen niet te veel druk o de machine uit wanneer het zaagsel het boorgat blokkeert. Schakel de machine in
en beweeg de boor in en uit het gat tot de blokkering verholpen is
BELANGRIJK: De volgende instructies hebben betrekken op functies van de machine die enkel mogelijk zijn
met de aanschaf van een standard spankop adapter of bithouder adapter
Het gebruik van een spankop adapter
1. Plaats de standard spankop adapter in de spankop (15)
2. Maak enkel gebruik van de rotatie boorstand
3. Plaats het bit in de spankop en draai deze vast
4. Zorg ervoor dat het bit centraal in de spankop roteert
Het boren in hout
• Zorg ervoor dat bits geschikt zijn voor het boren in hout en binnen de maximale capaciteit van de machine
vallen (Zie: ‘Specificaties’)
Het boren in metaal
• Voor nauwkeurige boorresultaten markeert u de positie van het gat met een hamer en een priem
• Zorg ervoor dat boor bits geschikt zijn voor het metaal en binnen de maximale capaciteit van de machine
vallen (Zie: ‘Specificaties’)
• Voor efficiënt boren en voor het behouden van lange levensduur van de boor gebruikt u een smeermiddel
of boorvloeistof

LET OP
• Het uitoefenen van druk op de boormachine resulteert niet in sneller en efficiënter boren. Wanneer de druk
op de boormachine een merkbaar effect heeft op de rotatiesnelheid van de boor, verminder de druk. Het
overbelasten van de boor resulteert in een kortere levensduur.
• Wanneer de boor het materiaal penetreert bestaat de kans op slaan. Om de kans op enige ongelukken te
voorkomen houdt u de boormachine stevig, met beide handen vast en maakt u gebruik van scherpe boor
bits
• Zorg er voor dat het materiaal goed vast staat voordat u enig werk uitvoert. Maak daarbij gebruik van
bankschroeven of klemmen. Houdt de machine te allen tijde met beide handen vast
Schroevendraaier gebruik
1. Plaats een ¼” schroevendraaier bithouder in de SDS-Plus adapter in de spankop (15)
2. Selecteer versnelling 1met de versnellingsschakelaar (4)
3. Plaats de stand selectieknop (2) in de boor stand
BELANGRIJK: De machine is niet optimaal geconfigureerd voor het in- en uitdraaien van schroeven en dient
enkel gebruikt te worden voor het gedeeltelijk in en uitdraaien van schroeven om werk te versnellen
• Draai schroeven in materialen tot de schroefkop niet minder dan 1 cm boven het materiaaloppervlak valt of
tot de machine langzamer draait dankzij weerstand. Zorg ervoor dat de machine niet overbelast wordt
• Draai schroeven met de hand los tot er weinig weerstand geboden wordt voordat u de schroef met behulp
van de machine verwijderd

• Verschillende accessoires, waaronder accu’s, SDS-Plus boor bits en adapters, zijn verkrijgbaar bij uw GMC

Onderhoud
WAARSCHUWING: Verwijder de accu voordat u enig onderhoud en schoonmaak uitvoert
Schoonmaak
• Houd uw machine schoon. Zorg ervoor dat afval zich niet ophoopt op de onderdelen van het gereedschap.
Verwijder stof en vuil en zorg ervoor dat de ventilatiegaten nooit verstopt raken. Gebruik een zachte borstel
of een droge doek om de machine te reinigen. Gebruik wanneer mogelijk zuivere, droge perslucht om door
de luchtgaten te blazen.
Opberging
• Berg de machine op een droge en veilige plek, buiten het bereik van kinderen op.
Verwijdering
Bij de verwijdering van elektrische machines neemt u de nationale voorschriften in acht.
• Elektrische en elektronische apparaten en accu’s mogen niet met uw huishoudelijk afval worden
weggegooid
• Neem contact op met uw gemeente voor informatie betreffende de verwijdering van elektrisch
gereedschap
