TRANSPORT | UNLOADING | UNPACKING
INSPECTION
When ironer is delivered, visually inspect the packing and the parts of the ironer visible through the packing.
Before signing any delivery document to the forwarder, make sure the product is delivered intact.
UNLOADING
The ironer must be unloaded from truck and transported keeping forklift forks as wide apart as possible to avoid any
torsion to the frame.
In case an unloading with crane is necessary, a balancer should be used to ensure the machine frame remains level during
the handling.
IMPORTANT!
To avoid damaging the appliance, do not let it drop when handling.
DANGER!
Remember the center of gravity is high: machine should therefore be handled with extreme precaution, since shocks might
cause it to fall.
UNPACKING
Keep all packing (plastic bags, polystyrene foam, nails, screws, metal or plastic straps, etc.) out of reach of children and
dispose of suitably, as they are potential sources of danger and pollution.
All packing parts are completely recyclable, so a separate waste sorting should be used whenever possible.

IRONER POSITIONING
CAUTION!
All operations must be carried out by fully qualified engineers.
DANGER!
Make sure that the floor static load limit complies with the equipment weight before positioning the ironer.
IMPORTANT!
To avoid damaging the appliance, do not let it drop when handling.
G.25 and G.35
Open the doors using the key provided and remove the screws fixing the ironer to the pallet.
Slide 2 metal bars having a diameter of 25 mm and a length of 900 mm through the holes provided to the purpose, and hang
there 2 sets of belts suitable to lift the ironer weight.
On top of the belts, position a balancer.
Using a forklift, lift up the balancer carefully and place the ironer on the floor, ensuring it is perfectly stable.
G.50
Open the doors using the key provided and remove the screws fixing the ironer to the pallet.
Slide the forklift forks between ironer and pallet, and lift it carefully from the pallet.
Place the appliance on the floor, ensuring it is perfectly stable.

REMOVING THE TRANSPORT SAFETIES
CAUTION!
All operations must be carried out by fully qualified engineers.
Before connecting the ironer, it is necessary to remove the safeties installed to protect the machine from damages that
might occur during the transport.
G.25 and G.35
G.50

10
GLine - INSTALLATION MANUAL
Remove the belts sustaining the cylinder weight, on both sides.
Remove the screw that fix the transport safeties to the panels and remove the safeties.
Repeat the operation on both sides.
DO NOT DISCARD THE SCREWS.

11
GLine - INSTALLATION MANUAL
Remove the transport safeties.
Install the centering teflon guides (2 pcs) that come with the machine. The set is packed inside the left side panel.
Fix the centering guides using the screws removed before.

12
GLine - INSTALLATION MANUAL
REMOVING THE ANTIOXIDANT PAPER
(models with polished cylinder only)
The ironing cylinder is protected from oxidation effects by an anti-oxidation paper that MUST be removed on the first
installation.
Don’t discard the protective paper: wrap it on the ironing cylinder again in case of a prolonged inactivity of the machine ( ~
more than 1 week).
STEP1: Insert the emergency handwheel to the ironer left side as illustrated in the figure below:
STEP 2: Turn clockwise the handwheel. The anti-oxidation paper will start coming out.
IMPORTANT!
Make sure that paper does not get stuck or trapped in any component.
EMERGENCY HANDWHEEL

13
GLine - INSTALLATION MANUAL
STEP 3: Complete the operation making sure that the detaching linen springs and and the brass plates supporting the
thermostat sensors are perfectly in contact with the cylinder.
WARNING!
Disconnect the handwheel before starting the ironer.
IMPORTANT!
Do not tear the paper, and make sure no piece of paper remains inside the ironer when heating is activated.
IF THE EQUIPMENT IS NOT INSTALLED AND USED IMMEDIATELY, IT SHOULD BE STORED IN A DRY PLACE:
• Care should be taken that condensation does not occur: if condensation occurs, cylinder will be subject to oxidation.
• In case of extreme ambient conditions during transport or storage, double-check the state of the cylinder surface looking
for oxidation traces.
• In case of storage periods longer than 30 days, a systematic inspection schedule should be established.
• In case of oxidation, coat the cylinder with protective anti-oxidation treatment.
