Bicycle riding is a hazardous sport and/or activity.
This bicycle bought from Golden Cycles Distribution by
Innovative Sports Distribution a division Zyclex Bicycles
Inc. or any of its authorized dealers and/or distributors
is understood to be the consumer’s sole responsibility and
legal liability. I the consumer, purchaser, and/or rider
of this Golden Cycles branded bicycle and/or product
understand and acknowledge that bicycle riding may
cause injury or death due to normal use, abuse ,poorly
maintained equipment, stunt riding, road terrain, and/
or accidents. I, release Innovative Sports Distribution and
Zyclex Bicycles Inc., its owners, aliates, and employees
from any and all legal liability from injury, property dam-
age, and death to myself or my minor children and any-
one that rides this bicycle. The rider adduces full respon-
sibility and liability resulting from assembly, maintenance,
or use (as stated above) of any such equipment. I agree to
defend, indemnify and hold harmless Innovative Sports
Distribution and Zyclex Bicycles Inc. for and from any
injury to other person(s) or property which I may cause
as a result of engaging in the activity of riding a bicycle
from this distributor.

Like any sport bicycling involves risk of injury and damage.
By choosing to ride a bicycle you assume the responsibility for
that risk; so you need to know and practice the rules of safe
and responsible riding and proper use and maintenance as this
can reduce risk of injury
This guide contains many warning and cautions, failure to
follow these guidelines can lead to serious injury. Our inability to
anticipate every situation or condition which can occur while rig-
id make this guide no representation about the safe use of bicycle
under all conditions. There are risks associated with the use of
any bicycle which cannot be predicted or avoided and which are
the sole responsibility of the rider.
We recommend this bicycle for adults, if you choose to have your
child ride it please be aware it is at your sole responsibility, and
personal liability. If you allow your child to ride make sure they
wear and approved DOT bicycle helmet at all times. A bicyc-
cling helmet is intended for bicycling only, failure to follow this
warning may result in serous injury or death.
As a parent/guardian you are responsible for the activities and
safety of your child. This includes making sure the bicycle is
properly tted to the child, that it is in good repair and safe
operating condition; that your child has learned and under-
stands the safe operation of this bicycle, understands, and obeys
local motor vehicle law, bicycle and trac laws, and the common
sense rules of safe and responsible cycling. You should read this
manual carefully before allowing your child to ride this bicycle.

This manual contains important
safety performance and service in-
formation. Read it before you take
the rst ride and keep it somewhere
safe for reference. For your own
safety and the safety of the bike we
recommend you have this bicycle
assembled by an experienced pro-
fession bicycle mechanic.
Additional safety performance and
service information for specic
components such as suspension or
pedals on your bicycle ,or for acces-
sories such as helmets or lights that
you purchase may also be available.
Make sure your dealer has given you all the manufacturers’ litera-
ture that was included with your bicycle. In case of a conict be-
tween the instructions in this manual and information provided by
a component manufacturer, always follow the component manufac-
turer’s instructions. If you have any questions or concerns consult
with the dealer of the bicycle’s manufacturer.

This manual is not intended of comprehensive use nor as a service,
repair, or maintenance manual. Please see your dealer for all ser-
vice repairs or maintenance. Your dealer may also be able to refer
you to classes clinics or book on bicycle use, service repair or main-
tenance.

1. Check your box to make sure
that it is in good condition
before opening.
2. Open the box by removing
any white straps with the cable
cutters.
3. Remove the bike from the box
(Note: Please be careful when
doing this, there may be sta-
ples from the box sticking out).
4. Remove the packaging from
the bike (Be careful not to
scratch the bike when put-
ting o the packaging, as this
WILL NOT be covered by
warranty.)
5. Remove the front wheel (Note:
Be careful no to bend the
spokes, this will Not be cov-
ered by warranty.

Installing the seat
Installing the handlebar
1. Insert the seat post into the
seat tube (Make sure the latch
is open).
2. Set the seat post at your de-
sired height. We recommend
that it is at the height of the
riders hip. (Pro Tip: your
knees should NOT go over
your waist when riding.)
1. Make sure that the stem is facing for-
ward.
2. Unscrew the 4 bolts from the stem with
a 4mm Allen Key.
3. Insert the handlebar and hold it in
place.
4. Screw the 4 levers back Into the stem
using the 4mm Allen Key Key. Make
sure they are not too tight, but tight
enough to hold the handlebar gently in
place.
5. Adjust the handlebar according to your
liking.
6. Once the handlebar is to your liking
tighten the bolts as tight as possible.
Tighten them little at a time to get an
even latch

3. Once the seat post is in the desired height. Close the clamp
latch, and tighten the bolt as necessary.

Installing the
front wheel
1. Prepare the quick release axle
(Make sure to read the
Warning sign on the Product)
2. Unscrew the side of the quick
release axle with the bolt, and
remove it. Make sure to keep
the spring and the bolt
together.
3. Insert the wheel onto the
fork. Make sure to check
the wheel for an arrow that
indicates the motion in which
the wheel is supposed to go
facing forward
4. Insert the quick release axle
(do not insert the axle
beforehand, this can damage
the springs, and this IS NOT
covered by warranty)
5. Tighten the left bolt (Note:
align the wheel as you go)
6. Close the latchTwist it
clockwise to tighten the latch
more.

1. Make Sure the brakes are aligned to the CNC brake line.
2. Tighten the brake pad bolts using a 4mm Allen Key
3. Switch the brake lever down while holding the brakes
4. Make sure the brakes are working properly.

1. To insert the pedals you will need a
15mm pedal wrench.
2. Make sure that the pedals are in the
right side. The right pedal goes on the
right and the left pedal goes on the
left. For easier understanding the right
side is the side where the chain is, also
known as the drive side. The pedals
are marked “R” for right and “L” for
left, on the front side of the bolt or the
pedal itself. (Fitting the pedals on the
wrong side can cause dam- age to the
crank arm and pedals, this may result
in serious injury or death, and IS NOT
covered by warranty.)

3. Screw in the right pedal clockwise (not doing so
will damage the thread)
4. Use the 15mm Pedal Wrench to tighten the ped-
al. Make sure the pedals are on tight, but don’t
over-tighten them or you will strip your pedal,
this damage IS NOT covered by warranty. (Re-
minder: check for loose pedals before each ride.)
5. Screw in the left pedal counter-clockwise, then
repeat step 4
1. Remove the valve cap and then
unscrew the presta valve nut.
2. If you have a Presta/French
Pump, insert your pump head
into the presto valve. If you have
a Schrader/American Pump
you’ll need to screw on the
adapter rst and then insert the
pump head into the adapter.
3. Inate your tire according to the
directions on the wheel
4. Remove the adapter if necessary
then retighten the Presta
5. Screw the valve cap back on.

Before you ride...

ӽDoes the chain have any noticeable damage?
ӽIs gear shifting carried out smoothly?
ӽAre any of the parts loose?
ӽAre all parts attached securely to the frame
and/or handlebar?
ӽDoes the bicycle make any abnormal noises
when riding?
ӽDo both the front and bake brakes work cor-
rectly?
ӽAre the levers secured tightly to the handle-
bar?
ӽIs there any signs or cracking or peeling on the
levers?
ӽDo Not disassemble or modify this product or
its parts. Failure to follow this may cause the
product to malfunction and result in serious
injury or death.
ӽDo Not use the front brake too harshly. Doing
so may cause the wheel to lock and can result
a violent fall causing serious injury or death.
ӽDo Not use alkali based acid or acid based sol-
vents (ex: rust cleaners) on your chain. Doing
so may cause the chain to break and result in
serious Injury or Death. Instead opt to reg-
ularly clean your chain with an appropriate
chain cleaner.
ӽIf any Problems arise or you have questions
regarding the installation or adjustment of
the product, please contact your Authorized
Dealer.
ӽDuring wet weather please make sure to take
the extra necessary precautions in order to en-
sure your safety and the safety of the around
you.
