It is essential that you read the
owner’s manual thoroughly before riding
your bicycle. We know you are anxious

potential of your bicycle.
In order to prevent serious injury please
pay close attention to the safety and cau-
tion information located in this manual.

bicycle bought from Golden Cycles Distribution by Innovative
Sports Distribution a division of Zyclex Bicycles Inc. or any of
its authorized dealers and/or distributors is understood to be
the consumer’s sole responsibility and legal liability. I the con-
sumer, purchaser, and/or rider of this Golden Cycles branded
bicycle and/or product understand and acknowledge that
bicycle riding may cause injury or death due to normal use,
abuse ,poorly maintained equipment, stunt riding, road ter-
rain, and/or accidents. I, release Innovative Sports Distribution
and Zyclex Bicycles Inc., its owners, afliates, and employees
from any and all legal liability from injury, property damage,
and death to myself or my minor children and anyone that
rides this bicycle. The rider adduces full responsibility and lia-
bility resulting from assembly, maintenance, or use (as stated
above) of any such equipment. I agree to defend, indemnify
and hold harmless Innovative Sports Distribution and Zyclex
Bicycles Inc. for and from any injury to other person(s) or prop-
erty which I may cause as a result of engaging in the activity
of riding a bicycle from this distributor.

Like any sport bicycling involves risk of injury and damage. By choosing
to ride a bicycle you assume the responsibility for that risk; so you need to
know and practice the rules of safe, responsible riding, and proper use and
maintenance as this can reduce risk of injury
This guide contains many warning and cautions, failure to follow these
guidelines can lead to serious injury. Our inability to anticipate every
situation or condition which can occur while riding make this guide no
representation about the safe use of bicycle under all conditions. There are
risks associated with the use of any bicycle which cannot be predicted or
avoided and which are the sole responsibility of the rider.
We recommend this bicycle for adults, if you choose to have your child ride
it please be aware it is at your sole responsibility, and personal liability. If
you allow your child to ride make sure they wear and approved DOT bicy-
cle helmet at all times. A bicyccling helmet is intended for bicycling only,
failure to follow this warning may result in serous injury or death.
As a parent/guardian you are responsible for the activities and safety of
your child. This includes making sure the bicycle is properly tted to the
child, that it is in good repair and safe operating condition; that your child
has learned and understands the safe operation of this bicycle, under-
stands, and obeys local motor vehicle law, bicycle and trafc laws, and the
common sense rules of safe and responsible cycling. You should read this
manual carefully before allowing your child to ride this bicycle.

keep it somewhere safe for reference.
For your own safety and the safety of the
bike we recommend you have this bicycle
assembled by an experienced
professional bicycle mechanic.
Additional safety performance and ser-
vice information for specic components
such as suspension or pedals on your
bicycle ,or for accessories such as helmets
or lights that you purchase may also be
available. Make sure your dealer has giv-
en you all the manufacturers’ literature that was included with your bicycle. In
case of a conict
between the instructions in this manual and information
provided by a component manufacturer, always follow the
component manufacturer’s instructions. If you have any questions or con-
cerns consult with the dealer of the bicycle’s manufacturer.

This manual is not intended of comprehensive use nor as a service, repair, or
maintenance manual. Please see your dealer for all service repairs or mainte-
nance. Your dealer may also be able to refer you to classes, clinics, or books on
bicycle use, service repair or maintenance.

small box in your package, along with
safety reectors and your pedals*
1. Check your box to make sure that it is
in good condition before opening.
2. Open the box by removing any white
straps with the cable cutters or a box
cutter.
3. Remove the bike from the box (Note:
Please be careful when doing this,
there may be staples from the box
sticking out).
4. Remove the packaging from the bike
(Be careful not to scratch the bike
when taking off the packaging, as
this WILL NOT be covered by
warranty.)

5. Remove the front wheel (Note: Be careful not to bend the spokes, this
WILL NOT be covered by warranty.

Installing the seat
Installing the handlebar
1. Insert the seat post into the seat
tube (Make sure the latch is open).
2. Set the seat post at your desired
height. We recommend that it is
at the height of the riders hip. (Pro
Tip: your knees should NOT go over
your waist when riding.)
1. Make sure that the stem is facing
forward when doing this.
2. Unscrew the 4 bolts from the stem with a
4mm Allen Key.
3. Insert the handlebar and hold it in place.
4. Screw the 4 levers back Into the stem using
the 4mm Allen Key Key. Make sure they are
not too tight, but tight enough to hold the
handlebar gently in place.
5. Adjust the handlebar according to your liking.
6. Once the handlebar is to your liking tighten
the bolts as tight as possible. Tighten them a
little bit at a time to get an even latch.

3. Once the seat post is in the desired height. Close the clamp latch, and
tighten the bolt as necessary.

Installing the
front wheel
1. Prepare the quick release axle
(Make sure to read the
Warning sign on the Product)
2. Unscrew the side of the quick
release axle with the bolt, and
remove it. Make sure to keep the
spring and the bolt
together.
3. Insert the wheel onto the fork.
Make sure to check the wheel for
an arrow that indicates the motion
in which the wheel is supposed to
go facing forward.
4. Insert the quick release axle (do
not insert the axle
beforehand, this can damage the
springs, and this IS NOT covered
by warranty)
5. Tighten the left bolt and the quick
release little by litle to keep the
wheel centered
6. Close the latchTwist it
clockwise to tighten the latch
more.

Adjusting the brakes
1. Before adjusting the brakes we need to
align the brake pads to the CNC brake
lines. (Note: sometimes the brake pads
already come aligned so step 1-3 are
optional)
2. Loosen the brake pad bolt of the brake
pad, and align the pad to the CNC brake
line.
3. Tighten the brake pad bolt. Then repeat
this to the other side if necessary.
4. Once this is done, adjust the brake line
by rst switching the brake lever up
5. Then unscrew the brake line bolt using a
4mm allen key
6. Adjust the brake line according to your
liking. (tighter brakes means more sen-
sitive brakes, looser brakes means less
sensitive brakes)
7. Once it is all to your liking, use a 4mm
allen key to retighten the bolt
8. DON’T forget to switch the brake lever
back down. Neglecting to do so can
cause your brakes to malfuntion result-
ing in serious injury or death.
