INTRODUCTION
The DS-2045E-PT Mini DisplayPort to HDMI or DisplayPort Dock with USB 3.0 LAN Hub provides a
professional way to convert Mini DisplayPort into either HDMI or DisplayPort outputs. It ensures Mini
DisplayPort-equipped computers such as MacBook (NOT for MacBook 2015 line) or Surface Pro series
computers will be compatible with HDMI or DisplayPort display. Besides, compact and lightweight
design makes it portable to carry. This Mini DisplayPort Video Dock with USB 3.0 LAN Hub is a versatile
tool to expand and enhance your computer’s connectivity performance for use at home, in the office, or
on the road.

1. Only ONE video output can be used, either HDMI or DisplayPort. Does not support
both outputs simultaneously. DisplayPort has the first priority.
2. Need both USB and Mini DisplayPort to be able to use this product, and drivers need
to installed for the USB part to function properly.

PANEL DESCRIPTIONS
1. RJ45 (GigaLAN): Connect to Ethernet network by Ethernet cable
2. USB 3.0 Ports: Connect to USB devices such as mice, keyboards, and pen drives
3. Micro USB 3.0 Type B: Connect to an available USB port of the computer
4. Micro USB: Connect to +5V power supply (for external power if needed)
5. Mini DisplayPort input: Connect to the Mini-DP port of the computer
6. HDMI output: Connect to a HDMI display by HDMI Cable
7. DisplayPort output: Connect to a DisplayPort display by DisplayPort Cable

WARRANTY
The SELLER warrants the DS-2045E-PT Mini DisplayPort to HDMI or DisplayPort Dock with USB
3.0 LAN Hub to be free from defects in the material and workmanship for 1 year from the date of
purchase from the SELLER or an authorized dealer. Should this product fail to be in good working order
within 1 year warranty period, The SELLER, at its option, repair or replace the unit, provided that the unit
has not been subjected to accident, disaster, abuse or any unauthorized modifications including static
discharge and power surge. This warranty is offered by the SELLER for its BUYER with direct
transaction only. This warranty is void if the warranty seal on the metal housing is broken.
Unit that fails under conditions other than those covered will be repaired at the current price of
parts and labor in effect at the time of repair. Such repairs are warranted for 90 days from the day of
reshipment to the BUYER. If the unit is delivered by mail, customers agree to insure the unit or assume
the risk of loss or damage in transit. Under no circumstances will a unit be accepted without a return
authorization number.
The warranty is in lieu of all other warranties expressed or implied, including without limitations,
any other implied warranty or fitness or merchantability for any particular purpose, all of which are
expressly disclaimed.
Proof of sale may be required in order to claim warranty. Customers outside Taiwan are
responsible for shipping charges to and from the SELLER. Cables and power adapters are limited to a
30 day warranty and must be free from any markings, scratches, and neatly coiled.
