Before using your Cupcake & Mufn Maker for the rst time make sure
that you:
• Remove the Cupcake & Mufn Maker from its packaging.
• Clean the non-stick baking plates with a soft damp cloth and then
thoroughly dry them.
• Completely unwind the mains cable.
• Place the Cupcake & Mufn Maker on a dry, level heat-resistant
surface away from any other appliances or objects.
Your Cupcake & Mufn Maker is now ready to use.

Operating your Cupcake & Muffin Maker
Before using your Cupcake & Muffin Maker
1. Make sure that your Cupcake & Mufn Maker is clean and dry.
2. Position your Cupcake & Mufn Maker on a at table or surface close
to a plug socket.
3. Plug the power lead into a suitable plug socket.
4. Close your Cupcake & Mufn Maker and pre-heat it for a few
minutes. The green indicator light will be illuminated when it is ready.
5. Once ready to use make sure that each cavity of your Cupcake &
Mufn Maker has been coated with an oil spray.
6. REMEMBER that the baking plates are very hot; do not touch these
with your hands.
7. Add a dessert spoon sized amount of cupcake or mufn batter to
each cavity on the bottom baking plate. Do not overll each cavity;
remember that your mixture will expand with cooking.
8. Carefully close the lid, clip shut the lid latch and allow the cupcakes
or mufns to bake for 8-10 minutes.
9. During cooking, the temperature regulating thermostat maintains an
even temperature. You may therefore notice the indicator ickering.
10. After 8 minutes you can test that the cupcakes or mufns are ready
by inserting a toothpick into the middle of one; if it comes out clean
they are ready.
11. Switch off the machine and leave to cool for a few minutes before
removing with a wooden or plastic utensil.
12. Decorate your cupcakes or mufns as desired.

Cleaning your Cupcake & Muffin Maker
Follow these simple steps to clean and maintain your Cupcake & Mufn
Maker after every use:
1. Turn your Cupcake & Mufn Maker OFF by un-plugging it from the
mains.
2. Allow the machine to completely cool down.
3. Clean the top and bottom casing with a soft damp cloth and then
dry with a kitchen/paper towel.
4. Open the Cupcake & Mufn Maker and wipe away any excess
mixture with a soft damp cloth and then dry with a kitchen/paper
towel. Make sure that each cavity on the top and bottom baking
plates are thoroughly cleaned and dried.
5. Once your Cupcake & Mufn Maker is clean and dry it is ready to be
packed back in its box ready for the next use.
NEVER immerse the Cupcake & Mufn Maker in water, other liquids, or
use in a dishwasher. There is danger to life due to a risk of electric shock.
NEVER use abrasive cleaning agents or sharp objects (e.g. scrubbing
brush or a knife) for cleaning.

Important Safety Instructions
When using your Cupcake & Mufn Maker, standard safety precautions
should be followed, including the following:
1. Please read all instructions carefully before using the appliance and
retain this user guide for future reference.
2. This Cupcake & Mufn Maker is for household use only.
3. Do not operate this appliance if the machine, cable or mains
adaptor are showing any sign of damage.
4. This appliance should not be assembled or operated by children.
5. Do not touch the baking plates with your ngers during or after use as
they become very hot.
6. If any cake mix spills out of the Cupcake & Mufn cavities or down
the sides of the baking plates always switch off the machine and let it
cool down completely before cleaning.
7. Never leave this appliance unattended whilst in use.
8. Do not let the cord hang over the edge of a table, or come into
contact with a hot surface.
9. Do not immerse the Cupcake & Mufn Maker in water or other
liquid, doing so may cause injury due to electric shock, and will also
damage the machine.
10. Before cleaning always turn off the power, and then disconnect the
mains adaptor from the plug socket and appliance.
11. Never use harsh or abrasive cleaning uids on this appliance, please
follow the cleaning instructions on page 5.

RECIPE IDEAS
Vanilla Sponge Cupcakes:
Ingredients:
• 115g Self Raising Flour
• 100g Butter (room temperature)
• 115g Caster Sugar
• 2 Eggs
• 1 teaspoon Vanilla Essence
• 1 teaspoon Baking Powder
This mixture will make approximately 14 Cupcakes.
Instructions:
1. Sift the our into an adequate sized bowl.
2. Roughly break the room temperature butter into chunks, add them
to the bowl, along with the sugar, the eggs, vanilla essence and the
baking powder.
3. Stir or blend the mixture well until smooth and creamy.
4. We do suggest you add some sunower oil spray, to the Cupcake
Maker to eliminate the possibility of sticking (a thin layer of butter/
margarine can also be used).
5. Now using a spoon, decant the mixture into the Cupcake cavities
leaving space for the mixture to expand, once you have done this
close the lid and turn the machine on at the switch.
6. Leave for 7-8 minutes and check for browning around the sides of the
cakes. They may need to be left for a further 1-2 minutes. Once you
are happy you can switch off the machine and leave to cool for a
few minutes before removing with a wooden or plastic utensil.
7. Decorate your cakes as desired.

Cheese Mufns:
Ingredients:
• 120g Plain Flour
• 110g Margarine
• 200g Grated Mature Cheddar
• 2 Eggs
• 120ml Milk
• 3 teaspoons Baking Powder
• 1 teaspoon Salt
• 1 teaspoon Ground Black Pepper
This mixture will make approximately 14 Mufns.
Instructions:
1. Rub the margarine into the our in a large bowl and then add the
grated cheese, salt & pepper.
2. Beat the eggs into the mixture.
3. Next gradually add the milk whilst continually mixing into a batter.
4. We do suggest you add some sunower oil spray, to the Mufn Maker
to eliminate the possibility of sticking (a thin layer of butter/margarine
can also be used).
5. Now using a spoon, decant the mixture into the Mufn cavities
leaving space for the mixture to expand, once you have done this
close the lid and turn the machine on at the switch.
6. Leave for 7-8 minutes and check for browning around the sides of the
mufns. They may need to be left for a further 1-2 minutes. Once you
are happy you can switch off the machine and leave to cool for a
few minutes before removing with a wooden or plastic utensil.
