Follow these simple steps to clean and maintain your Popcorn Maker after
every use:
1. Turn your Popcorn Maker Maker OFF and then un-plug it from the mains.
2. Allow the machine to completely cool down.
3. Remove the top cover and measuring scoop and clean these using a
soft damp sponge.
4. Empty any un-popped kernels from the popcorn chamber.
5. You should not need to clean out the chamber, never put any wet or
damp sponges into the popcorn chamber. You can however wipe the
outise of the base unit with a damp sponge.
6. Once your Popcorn Maker is clean and dry it is ready to be packed
back in its box ready for the next use.
NEVER immerse the Popcorn Maker in water, other liquids, or use in a
dishwasher. There is danger to life due to a risk of electric shock.
NEVER use abrasive cleaning agents or sharp objects (e.g. scrubbing brush or
a knife) for cleaning.
cleaning your Popcorn Maker
1. Make sure that your Popcorn Maker is clean and dry.
2. Position your Popcorn Maker on a at surface or table close to a plug
socket.
3. Take the top cover and measuring scoop off of the Popcorn Maker’s base
unit.
4. Using your measuring scoop add dry popcorn kernels to the popcorn
chamber, do not add any more kernels than the scoop can hold. Do not
add any oil or fat to the popcorn chamber.
5. Place the top cover back on the Popcorn Maker base unit, and then
the measuring scoop on top. If you would like to melt butter for the fresh
popcorn then turn the measuring scoop upside down and place it securely
over the top cover. Add a small knob of butter to the dish, the heat from
the popcorn chamber will melt the butter whilst the popcorn is popping.
6. Place a large heat resistant bowl beneath the chute on the top cover to
catch the popped popcorn.
7. Insert the mains adaptor to a suitable plug socket and switch the machine
on.
8. The popcorn chamber will heat and rotate your popcorn kernels and after
a minute or two fresh warm popcorn will begin to pop out of the chamber
and into your bowl.
9. Always turn the machine off after its popped one batch of popcorn,
remove any un-popped kernels from the chamber and then allow it to
cool for ve minutes before using again.
10. Once popped and in the bowl you can add your favourite avourings,
or melted butter to the warm fresh popcorn. We have included some
suggestions on page 7 of this manual.
PLEASE NOTE:
NEVER add any oil or fat to the popcorn chamber. Only ever put dry
popcorn kernels in the chamber or you will damage the machine!
