Charging the Battery
Initial charge time is approximately 2 hours. The player
will automatically power o when not in use.
1. Use a Micro-USB to USB cable (included) to
connect the player to the USB port of a powered
on computer or USB power adapter (not included).
2. If connecting to a PC, a menu for the connection
type will appear on the player’s display.
» Charge & Transfer - Charge the player and
connect to PC for le transfer (see Loading
Music & Files).
» Charge & Play - Charge the player and
remain in Play Mode (does not connect for
le transfer).
3. Use the buttons to make your selection,
then press to conrm or wait for the timer to
count down and select the highlighted option.

Loading Music & Files
Note: To transfer les, the USB cable must be able to
transmit data (included).
1. Connect the MP3 player to a computer using
a Micro-USB cable (see note above). Use the
buttons to select Charge & Transfer,
then press to conrm or wait for the timer.
2. Once connected, the computer will recognize the
player as a storage device (device name: GPX).
3. Open your computer’s le explorer to drag and
drop les into the folder for the player and Micro-
SD Card (if connected to the player).
4. When you are nished transferring les, right click
on the drive and eject it from the computer. Then
you can safely disconnect it from the computer.

Music Menu / Playing Music
Use the buttons to select Music from the
main menu, then press the button to conrm.
Press to navigate the menu, press to
conrm your selections.
• All Songs - Access audio les on the device,
create, save and play playlists, and other options.
• Now Playing - Show the current audio le.
• Resume - Resume from the last track played.
• Artists - View audio les by artist.
• Albums - View audio les by album.
• Genres - View audio les by music genre.
• Playlists - View available playlists.
• Create Playlist - Select Shue All to play all
available audio les.
• Local Folder - View audio les on the player’s
internal storage.
• Card Folder - View audio les on a connected
Micro-SD Card.
After making a selection, press the button to begin
playing music. Use the buttons to skip audio
tracks, or press and hold to search through the track.

Bluetooth Menu
This unit can transmit to Bluetooth audio receivers,
such as Bluetooth speakers or headphones. It is not
a Bluetooth receiver and will not play music from
another Bluetooth device, like a smartphone or tablet.
Use the buttons to select Bluetooth from the
main menu, then press the button to conrm.
• After entering the Bluetooth Menu, the unit will
begin searching for devices. Be sure the device
you are connecting to is in pairing mode and use
the buttons to select the device.
Note: In Bluetooth Mode, the player is restricted to the
Bluetooth Menu. To play music, select Music or All
Songs from the menu. To exit the Bluetooth Menu,
press Mand conrm “Bluetooth Unlink”.
Press to navigate the menu, press to
conrm your selections.
• Bluetooth Status - Enable/Disable Bluetooth.
• Bluetooth Search - Search for and connect to
available Bluetooth devices.
• Device List - All saved Bluetooth Devices.
• All Songs - All songs saved on the MP3 player.
• Music - Displays current selected track.

Radio Menu
Note: This unit uses a connected headphone cord as
an FM antenna. For radio play, you must connect wired
headphones or earbuds to the headphone jack.
Use the buttons to select Radio from the
main menu, then press the button to conrm.
Press to navigate the menu, press to
conrm your selections.
• Presets - Lists all saved FM stations on the player.
If there are no presets, follow the on screen
prompt to automatically scan and save up to 30
FM stations.
• Manual Tune - use the buttons manually
tune the radio.
• Auto Tune - Follow the on screen prompt to
automatically scan and save up to 30 FM stations
(same as Presets above).
• FM Recording - While playing from Radio, press
and hold M, then select Start FM Recording to
record radio broadcasts. Select FM Recording to
access and select those les recorded from radio.

Record Menu
Use the buttons to select Recordings from
the main menu, then press the button to conrm.
Press to navigate the menu, press to
conrm your selections.
• Start Voice Recording - Press to select and
begin a recording using the built-in microphone.
Press to resume or pause the recording.
Press Mto stop and save or delete the recording.
• Recording Library - Select Local or Card folder to
access recordings on the device or a connected
memory card.
• Storage - Select Internal or External Memory as a
destination for recorded les.
• Record Format - Select WAV or MP3.
• Record Settings - Set the bit rate for recordings.
Set Track AVR mode on or o.

E Book Menu
Note: This unit is compatible with .TXT les only.
Use the buttons to select E Book from the
main menu, then press the button to conrm.
• Use the button to select a le, then press
to conrm. Use the buttons to change
the page.
Folder View
Use the buttons to select Folder View from
the main menu, then press the button to conrm.
• View all les and folders on the device and SD
Card (if connected). Press to navigate,
press to conrm your selection.

Settings Menu (Set)
Use the buttons to select Set from the main
menu, then press the button to conrm.
• Play Mode - Set default play settings, repeat and
shue on or o.
• Sound Settings - Adjust EQ settings and device
Key Tone.
• Sleep Timer - Select Set Sleep Timer and use the
+/- buttons to adjust the time in minutes (1-99).
Press to conrm and begin the timer.
• Display Settings - Adjust the back light timer for
the display.
• Language - Set the language for the device.
• Information - View player information and
memory storage space.
• Format Device - Format internal memory and SD
Card (if connected).
• Factory Settings - Restore factory settings.
