Fluid from the gun, hose leaks, or ruptured components can splash fluid in the eyes or on the skin and

DAlways wear protective eyewear, gloves, clothing and respirator as recommended by the fluid and
solvent manufacturer.

Grounding
WARNING
FIRE AND EXPLOSION HAZARD
Before operating the pump, ground the
system as explained below. Also read
the section FIRE OR EXPLOSION HAZ-
ARD on page 2.
1. Pump: Connect a ground wire (A) to the pump as
shown in Fig. 1. Connect to the other end to a true
earth ground. Order Grounding Kit (Part No.
222084)
2. Air Compressor: Follow the manufacturer’s recom-
mendations.
3. Use only metal or conductive containers.
4. All solvent pails used when flushing, according to
local code. Use only metal pails, which are con-
ductive. Do not place the pail on a non-conductive
surface, such as paper or cardboard, which inter-
rupts the grounding continuity.
