2.2 Precautionary measures
Always wear protective gloves when performing setup, maintenance and cleaning
work on the equipment, to prevent injury from sharp parts.
While working with and on the equipment wear protective work shoes that fit
well.
Before each use always perform a visual and function check of the equipment to
identify damage and worn parts, and arrange for their repair by trained personnel
before use.
Before raising a load, make sure that the drain valve is closed.
Ensure that the pallet lifter is always on a solid and stable base before the load is lifted.
Never work under a raised load supported only by the pallet truck.
Lubricate all moving parts on the hydraulic jack regularly.
If oil level is too low it should be replenished and the system bled before further use.
Observe the instructions in this manual!
The pallet truck may only be operated by persons 16 years or older. As an exception, use by
a teenager is permitted, when used in the course of training to attain skill under the
supervision of an instructor.
3. Performance specifications
3.1 Intended use
The pallet truck consists of two rigid forks to hold the pallet. The pumping movement of the
handle lifts the pallet forks by means of the integrated hydraulics.
When the handle is pressed, the hydraulic pressure in the raised cylinder is reduced and the
forks are lowered again.
In the middle position of the handle the set lifting height is secured against further
movements.
Only inherently stable objects, especially pallets of different formats, may be lifted and
transported with the pallet truck.
Other loads, animals or humans must never be lifted or transported with the fork truck. Never
use the pallet truck to lift or move vehicles.
Never overload the fork truck beyond the load specified in the following table.
In the event of non-observance of the provisions of the generally applicable regulations as
well as the provisions of these operating instructions, including insufficient maintenance, the
manufacturer cannot be held responsible for any damage.

4. Assembly work
If you have bought the pallet truck in a transport package, there is still some assembly work
to be done. You will need tools (hammer, pliers, wrench, etc.), an axle with hole (105), two
dowel pins (106) (one of which is in the axle (105)). These parts are in a plastic bag on the
drawbar.
Figure 1
WARNING: Insufficient stability and incorrect positioning of the pallet lifter may cause
it to overturn.
4.1 Fixing the hand drawbar to the pump unit
a) Place the drawbar on the pump piston (303), then use a hammer to insert the axle with
hole (105) from the right side into the hydraulic pump and drawbar (see fig. 2).
b) Set the control lever (117 or 120G) to ‘LOWER’, then manually insert the adjusting nut
(104), adjusting pin (103) and chain (102) through the hole in the axle (105) (see fig.
3).
c) Press down the drawbar (110,110B or 111G) and then remove the pin.
d) Move the control lever (117 or 120G) to the ‘RAISE’ position. Then lift the lever plate
(319) with the pin (2) and insert the adjustment pin (103) into the front slot of the lever
plate (319). The adjusting nut (104) remains on the bottom of the lever plate.

4.2 Adjusting the switching device
In the upper part of the drawbar of this pallet truck is the operating lever (117 or 120G),
which can have three positions:
Lifting position of the fork - lower handle
Drive position - handle in middle position
Lowering the fork - handle on top
NOTE: If the settings have been altered for any reason, they can be adjusted as
follows:
a) If the forks lift in the lever position “DRIVE” during pumping movements, turn the
adjusting nut (104) on the adjusting bolt (103) or screw (318) clockwise until the forks
do not lift during pumping movements and the driving position works without problems.
b) If the forks lower in the lever position “DRIVE" during pumping movements, turn the nut
(104) or bolt (318) counter-clockwise until the forks stop lowering.
c) If the forks do not lower when the control lever (117 or 120G) isin the “LOWER” position,
turn the nut (104) or screw (318) clockwise until the control lever (117 or 120G) is
operated. Then check the “DRIVE” function as described in 3.1 and 3.2 to ensure that the
nut (104) and the screw (318) are in the correct position.
d) If the forks do not lift in lever position “RAISE”, turn the nut (104) or screw (318) anti-
clockwise until the forks lift in lever position “RAISE” during pumping movements. Then
check the lever positions “LOWER” and “DRIVE” as described in 3.1, 3.2 and 3.3.

5. Operating the pallet truck
5.1 Preparation before first use
After opening the packaging check that all components are complete and undamaged. If
components are missing or damaged, contact your dealer immediately and use the device
only after approval by the dealer.
a) The operator should read all warning labels and notes in this manual and on the equipment
carefully before use.
b) Only operate the machine on level surfaces.
c) Only use the pallet truck after you have checked its condition. Pay particular attention to
the tyres or rollers, the drawbar, the fork unit, the lever plate etc.
d) To pull the pallet truck, always set the control lever to the driving position. This makes
the drawbar move more easily and relieves the load on the hydraulic pump housing. This
extends the life of the hydraulic seals and valves.
e) When transporting goods, there should be no people within a radius of 600mm.
f) Do not transport goods as shown in fig. 5/B.
g) Avoid loads that exceed the maximum capacity.
h) In unfamiliar surroundings or conditions, the user should be particularly careful when
handling the pallet truck.

6. Maintenance and repair
6.1 General maintenance instructions
Maintenance and repair work may be performed only by qualified personnel.
Use only original spare and wear parts
Maintenance, cleaning and repair are permissible only when the fork is lowered and not
under load.
If a paint touch-up is necessary, make sure not to obscure the instruction and product
signs. If necessary, replace them with original spare parts.
Fasteners must be regularly checked for tightness, and tightened as necessary.
Lightly lubricate all moving parts, depending on use, 1 to 2 times per month.

Operating Instructions for Hand Pallet Truck

10
WARNING: Never perform different kinds of work at the same time and with multiple
people.
WARNING: Failure to follow maintenance instructions can lead to serious accidents
and malfunctioning.
WARNING: Do not let any part of the body get between moving parts.
IMPORTANT: Failure to follow the lubrication instructions can cause damage and
malfunctions.
The pallet truck is almost no-maintenance.
6.2 Oil
Please check the oil level every 6 months. Use hydraulic oil according to ISO VG32 with a
viscosity of 30 mm2/s at 40°C. The quantity is approx. 0.4l.
6.3 Venting
Air could get into the hydraulic oil during transport or pumping movements in an upright
position. This could prevent the forks from lifting during pumping movements in the lever
position “RAISE”. The air can be removed as follows: set the control lever (117 or 120G) to
“LOWER”, then move the drawbar up and down a few times.
6.4 Daily inspection and maintenance
Daily checks reduce wear as much as possible. Particular attention should be paid to the
wheels and axles, as threads or rags etc. could block the wheels. Once the operation is
finished, the fork should be lowered unloaded.
6.5 Lubrication
All bearings and axles have been treated with a high-quality, long-lasting grease at the
factory. At monthly intervals you should supply grease to all lubrication points, especially
when the lift truck has been cleaned.
7. Storage and transport
Always store the pallet truck in a dry and frost-proof room.
Check the condition of the equipment before storage and perform maintenance before taking
it out of use, so that your pallet truck is ready quickly the next time you need it.
8. Disposal
The separate, environmentally friendly disposal of materials encourages recycling of
materials. Therefore, after expiry of the normal service life, the equipment itself and all related
components, including the lubrication, packaging and wear parts, should be disposed of at a
recyclables collection point.

Operating Instructions for Hand Pallet Truck
76072170
11
Packaging, equipment and accessories are made of recyclable materials and should be
disposed of accordingly.
If the unit is no longer serviceable, make sure it is unusable before disposal.
WARNING: If you do not have the necessary expertise, engage a specialist for
dismantling and disposal. INJURY HAZARD!
!!! Always observe local disposal regulations !!!
