GZDM Doorkit application instructions
Required tools:
ŸDamping roller (e.g. GZDR 1000)
ŸCutter and scissors
ŸWorking gloves
ŸGrease cleaner and fabric
ŸMechanic tools for disassembling the door trim
Attention!
As a precaution, always wear working gloves to protect your hands
from injury when cutting and applying the damping materials!
Step 1: Disassemble the door trim to uncover the panel surface*
Step 2: Clean the surface of the door panel from grease, grime, silicone and wax -
remaining grease reduces the adhesive force of the damping material!
Step 3: Cut the anti-vibrating GZDM 3750AB-SILVER (8 sheets included) to tting piece
Step 4: Loosen the carrier layer and stick the tting pieces to the cleaned door panel

Step 5: Cut the polyethylene noise damping foam (2 sheets included) to tting pieces
Step 6: Loosen the carrier layer and stick the tting pieces to the black aluminum surface
of GZDM 3750AB-SILVER as topping layer to reduce standing waves inside the door
Step 7: Clean the surface of the back side of the door trim from grease and grime
Step 8: Cut the GZDF 1500SA sound absorbing formed foam (4 sheets included) to tting pieces
Step 9: Loosen the carrier layer and stick the tting pieces to the back side of the door trim
Step 10: Re-assemble the door trim and check the functions of the power window and switches
