SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS
DANGER
TO REDUCE THE RISK OF FIRE OR ELECTRIC SHOCK,
CAREFULLY FOLLOW THESE INSTRUCTIONS.
To reduce the risk of electric shock, disconnect power to the 120V
electrical outlet before installing or removing the unit. When removing the
electrical wall plate, it may fall across plug pins or become displaced.
To reduce the risk of electric shock, this product has a grounding type plug
that has a third (grounding) pin. This plug will only fit into a grounding
type power outlet. If the plug does not fit into the outlet, contact a
qualified electrician to install the proper outlet. Do not change the plug in
any way.

Operaon and Specificaons
Temperature setpoint between 55°F and 95°F / 13°C to 35°C.
6- temperature probe works from +32°F to 212°F (0°C to 100°C).
The 120V output is variable. Max 750 Was, 6.2 Amps.
2 seconds «KickStart» at startup. (100% power to improve or ensure fan
startup).
Fan at 100% when the temperature reaches (setpoint +4°F or higher).
Idle MIN% varies from 25% to 60%, per 5% steps (8 posions within each
third of lower knob scale).
Fan between MIN% and 100% of power on a 6°F range.
Electrical Specificaons: See the rang label on your product.
When will the fan idle or turn off?
IDLE: if the IDLE mode is selected and the temperature reaches (setpoint
-2°F or below).
OFF: if Low Temp Limit mode is selected and the temperature reaches
(setpoint -12°F or below).

INSTALLATION
Note: Designed for single phase 120VAC inducon motor fans up to 750
Was.
Plug into 120 VAC outlet (see security noce on page 1).
Place the sensor at desired locaon.
Connect the fan into the front panel outlet (MAX 750W, 6.2A).
Note: For mulple fan applicaon, use a power bar.
Installaon is now complete

Day and Night: Fan runs between idle speed and full speed;
low temperature condion will NOT stop the fan.
SETTINGS
Day: Fan runs between idle speed and full speed.
Night: Operates same as day me but fan will stop if a low temperature
condion is met (*).
IDLE MODE & SPEED SETTINGS
(Idle speed = minimum speed)
Turn top knob fully

(*) The low temperature condion is met when actual temperature is colder that
(SETPOINT -10°F/-4,5°C). Eg.: With a SETPOINT of 75°F, a low temp condion is met
when actual temp drops below 65°F.
SETTINGS
Day and Night: Fan runs between idle speed and full speed but will stop if a
low temperature condion is met (*).
Lower Mode
Note: Boom knob value is LOCKED when top knob leaves the «Set Idle» zone,
therefore, rotang boom knob has no effect during normal operaon.

1 – Before you start
2 – Test
***IMPORTANT: READ AND FOLLOW THESE INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE
STARTING THE TEST.
· DO NOT CONNECT THE UNIT BEFORE STEP 1 OF THE TEST.
· CONNECT A FAN IN THE FRONT UNIT OUTPUT.
· LIGHTING CONDITION: perform this test in a room with enough light for
the controller to detect a DAY condion.
· TEMPERATURE: perform this test in a room where ambient temperature
is between 65°F and 80°F (18°C and 28°C).
· NOTE: if the room temperature is above 80°F, you must fill a glass with cold
water, needed in step 6.
· Definions : CW : Clockwise.
CCW : Counter clockwise.
STEP HANDLING AND TEST DESCRIPTION EXPECTED RESULTS
1
· Plug the unit into the power outlet.
· Turn UPPER knob fully CCW (55°F).
· Turn LOWER knob fully CW (Idle
mode).
The fan will turn ON at
100% INTENSITY.
2 · Turn UPPER knob fully CW (Set Idle).
The fan will drop at
60% INTENSITY
(dimmer effect).
3 · Turn LOWER knob fully CCW.
The fan will drop as low
as 25% INTENSITY
(larger dimmer effect).

· Turn LOWER knob fully CW.
· Turn UPPER knob slightly CCW to set
the knob line between 90°F and 95°F.
The fan will return to
60% INTENSITY
(dimmer effect).

· Cover the Light Sensor completely
with the palm of your hand or black
electrical tape (a single finger will NOT
cover the sensor appropriately).
The fan will turn OFF
aer 6-8 seconds, the
test is then complete.
IF the fan DOES NOT
turn OFF, go to STEP 6.

· While maintaining the light sensor
COVERED, put the temperature sensor
in a glass of cold water.
The fan will turn OFF
aer 6-8 seconds, the
test is then complete.

2. I’ve been through the troubleshoong steps. What do I do if I meet a
problem at any of these steps? Is my product covered by the
WARRANTY?
· Grozone controllers are covered by a 3-year warranty (*). We will
replace any DAMAGED PRODUCT WITH A BRAND NEW PRODUCT.
· Covered or not covered? We do not authorize the replacement of fully
working products nor altered (tampered) products. The Troubleshoong
steps will help you idenfy a damaged product. Do not hesitate to
contact us or contact your retailer to make sure the controller is not fully
working or damaged before returning it to the store.
· My product is not fully working or damaged, I want a replacement unit:
in order to get a replacement product, you MUST return all modules
and applicable accessories to the retailer. To avoid being charged for
the accessories, be sure to include all pieces. Thanks for your
cooperaon.
· Any Grozone Control product that is returned with obvious signs of user
neglect will not be covered by the warranty. Grozone Control exercises
the right to make final decisions in these maers.
(*)The warranty period begins from the date of purchase at the retail level.
The retailer/consumer must keep their proof of sale/purchase. Otherwise,
Grozone Control will consider the manufacturing date to apply the warranty
coverage.

defecve product and a RMA number.
