9. Install the top handrails (30 and 31) between the corner posts (19) using 5/16" x 2" flange bolts (5)
and 5/16" flange nuts (9).
10. Slide the intermediate handrail (32) of larger diameter onto the intermediate handrail (33) of smaller
diameter. Install the intermediate handrails (32 and 33) between the corner posts (19) using
5/16" x 1" flange bolts (1) and 5/16" flange nuts (9).
NOTE: Adjust the length of the handrails (32 and 33) as required between the corner posts (19) and
secure the overlaps by installing self-drilling screws at the bottom after attaching the ends to
the handrail posts.
11. Assemble the platform gate bracket (39) with the gate assembly (40). Install the platform gate
bracket (39) to the corner post (20). Use 5/16" x 1" flange bolts (1) and 5/16" flange nuts (9) for both
the connections.
NOTE: Make sure the gate swing is towards the inside of the platform.
12. Attach the platform sidewall angle (35) at 9-3/8" from the left platform bracket (16) to the sidewall
sheet using 5/16" x 1" flange bolts (1) and 5/16" flange nuts (9).
13. Attach the wall bracket (36) to the platform sidewall angle (35) using 3/8" x 1" flange bolts (6) and
3/8" flange nuts (7).
14. Attach the left ladder bracket (37) and right ladder bracket (38) to the wall bracket (36) using
5/16" x 1" flange bolts (1) and 5/16" flange nuts (9).
15. Install one ladder stand-off bracket (34) to the left platform bracket (16) and another one ladder
stand-off bracket (34) to the to the wall bracket (36) as shown. Align the holes in the ladder stand-off
brackets (34) and assemble. Use 5/16" x 1" flange bolts (1) and 5/16" flange nuts (9) at all
connections.
16. Install the ladder assembly (43) to the ladder brackets (37 and 38) using 5/16" x 1" flange bolts (1)
and 5/16" flange nuts (9).
17. Install one flare attachment bracket (42) to the corner posts (19 and 20) using 5/16" x 1" flange
bolts (1) and 5/16" flange nuts (9).
18. Install the formed ladder flares (41) to the flare attachment brackets (42) using 5/16" x 1" flange
bolts (1) and 5/16" flange nuts (9).
19. Connect the formed ladder flares (41) to the ladder assembly (43) using 5/16" x 1" flange bolts (1)
and 5/16" flange nuts (9).
NOTE: Make sure the ladder flares (41) are vertical and parallel to the platform posts by adjusting
the splice/flare brackets. The ladder will NOT be square to the platform due to the radius of
the bin. The side closest to the bin wall will be closer to the platform.
