1) Ensure that power to the vehicle is isolate .
2) Mount the GT 1000C Trip Meter on your preferre surface (e.g. ashboar ) using the
supplie ball or suction mount.
3) Insert the power connector into the vehicle’s accessory power socket (12V DC or 24V DC).
4) Plug the 6-way connector on the wiring loom into the Trip Meter.
5) Screw the GPS/GLONASS antenna connector onto the female connector locate on the
back panel of the Trip Meter. Do not close the antenna cable in the oor of the vehicle;
in most applications, leaving the antenna on the ashboar of the car will surfice.
6) Restore power to the vehicle an apply power to the Trip Meter
The Trip Meter shoul , un er normal circumstances, operate with at least 7
satellites. Shoul performance egra e inspect the GPS/GLONASS antenna for
wear or amage. The antenna may require replacement after several years
epen ing upon vehicular an environmental con itions.
Installation
Navigating the Menu
From the Main Display, the Menu key will enter the main menu;
from the main menu, Menu is use to step back one level, the
arrow keys navigate through a menu an to select the
highlighte item.

The o ometric functions of the Trip Meter utilise GPS an GLONASS technology
an , given goo satellite coverage, achieve greater than 99% accuracy. The
number of satellites currently tracke by the evice is shown in the lower-right
corner of the isplay; while four is the minimum number require to obtain
spee rea ings, seven to ten is typical.

The main display shows the two trip counters, satellite count, current
and average speed. The arrow keys select the direction of trip A or B if
set to do so in the configuration menu (see below).

current trip value on the screen when the reset
button is presse . Press Enter to cycle between:
Disabled – no freeze function
A Enabled – freeze enable on trip A only
Enabled – freeze enable on trip A only
A Enabled – freeze enable on trip A an trip B
