Einleitung
Damit Sie an Ihrem neuen Gerät möglichst lange Freude
haben, bitten wir Sie, die Betriebsanweisung und die
beiliegenden Sicherheitshinweise vor Ingebrauchnahme
sorgfältig durchzulesen. Ferner wird empfohlen, die
Gebrauchsanweisung für den Fall aufzubewahren, dass Sie
sich die Funktionen des Artikels später nochmals ins
Gedächtnis rufen möchten.
Im Rahmen ständiger Produktweiterentwicklung behalten
wir uns vor zur Verbesserung technische Änderungen
umzusetzen.
Nachdrucke, auch auszugsweise, bedürfen der
Genehmigung.
Bei diesem Dokument handelt es sich um die
Originalbetriebsanweisung.

Nehmen Sie das Gerät aus der Transportverpackung und
prüfen Sie die Vollständigkeit und das Vorhandensein folgender

Bestimmungsgemäße Verwendung
Die Maschine entspricht der gültigen
EG-Maschinenrichtlinie.
Der Sauger ist ausschließlich für die Reinigung von Beistellöfen
und Kaminen zur Holzfeuerung in kaltem Zustand bestimmt.
Verwenden Sie die Maschine nur bei trockenem
Wetter und trockenem Untergrund. (Niemals bei Nässe
verwenden)
Die Maschine ist nicht für das Saugen von
brennbaren, explosiven, giftigen, krebserregenden oder
anderen Gesundheitsgefährdenden Stoffen und Materialien
geeignet.
Es dürfen mit dieser Maschine keine anderen Arbeiten
verrichtet werden, als die Arbeiten, für die die Maschine gebaut
ist und die in der Bedienungsanleitung beschrieben werden.
Jeder darüber hinausgehende Gebrauch gilt als nicht
bestimmungsgemäß. Für daraus resultierende Schäden oder
Verletzungen haftet der Hersteller nicht. Bitte beachten Sie das
dieses Gerät bestimmungsgemäß nicht für den gewerblichen
Einsatz konstruiert sind.
Anforderungen an den Bediener
Der Bediener sollte vor Gebrauch des Gerätes aufmerksam die
Bedienungsanleitung gelesen haben.
Qualifikation
Außer einer ausführlichen Einweisung durch eine sachkundige
Person ist keine spezielle Qualifikation für den Gebrauch des
Gerätes notwendig.
Mindestalter
Das Gerät darf nur von Personen betrieben werden, die das
18. Lebensjahr vollendet haben. Eine Ausnahme stellt die
Benutzung als Jugendlicher dar, wenn die Benutzung im Zuge
einer Berufsausbildung zur Erreichung der Fertigkeit unter
Aufsicht eines Ausbilders erfolgt.
Schulung
Die Benutzung des Gerätes bedarf lediglich einer
entsprechenden Unterweisung durch eine Sachkundige Person
bzw. die Bedienungsanleitung. Eine spezielle Schulung ist nicht
notwendig.
Allgemeine Sicherheitshinweise
Lesen sie die Gebrauchsanweisung sorgfältig.
Machen Sie sich mit den Einstellungen und dem richtigen
Gebrauch der Maschine vertraut.
Die Bedienungsanleitung muss vor der ersten Anwendung
des Gerätes ganz durchgelesen werden. Falls über den
Anschluss und die Bedienung des Gerätes Zweifel entstehen
sollten, wenden Sie sich an den Hersteller (Service-Abteilung).
Das Gerät darf nur mit Fehlerstromschutzschalter (RCD)
30mA betrieben werden.

GARANTIEREN, BEACHTEN SIE AUFMERKSAM
FOLGENDE HINWEISE:
ACHTUNG
1. Derjenige, der den Sauger bedient ist für die Sicherheit
umstehender Personen verantwortlich.
2. Kinder und Haustiere sollten sich nur in sicherer
Entfernung zu dem laufenden Aschefilter aufhalten
(mindestens 6 Meter).
3. Tragen Sie immer sichere, rutschfeste Schuhe,
Handschuhe, Schutzbrille und lange Hosen, wenn Sie mit
dem Aschefilter arbeiten.
4. Richten Sie den laufenden Aschefilter niemals auf das
Gesicht.
5. Achten Sie darauf weder Hände, Füße, Haare noch
Kleidungsstücke in die Nähe von Öffnungen und
beweglichen Teilen zu bringen.
6. Tragen Sie keine weiten Kleidungsstücke oder
Schmuckstücke, die in den Lufteinlass gezogen werden
könnten.
7. Achten Sie stets darauf, dass der Aschefilter richtig
montiert wurde, bevor Sie ihn in Betrieb nehmen.
8. Benutzen Sie das Gerät niemals bei Regen oder Nässe.
9. Halten Sie alle Griffe und Halterungen trocken und sauber.
10. Stellen Sie sicher, dass alle außen liegenden Muttern,
Bolzen und Schrauben festgezogen und sicher sind, bevor
Sie den Aschefilter einschalten.
11. Lassen Sie den Aschefilter niemals laufen, wenn er auf
der Seite liegt. Er wurde nur für die Bedienung in
aufrechter Position entwickelt.
12. Saugen Sie keine brennenden Materialien, wie z.B.
Zigarettenstummel oder Grillkohle ein.
13. Saugen Sie keine entflammbaren, giftigen oder explosive
Materialien ein.
14. Lassen Sie keine Fremden an die Maschine. Besucher
und Zuschauer, vor allem Kinder sowie kranke und
gebrechliche Personen, sollten vom Arbeitsplatz fern
gehalten werden. Verhindern Sie, dass andere Personen
mit den Werkzeugen in Berührung kommen.
15. Das Gerät niemals bei Nässe, Eis und Schnee
verwenden!


16. Sorgen Sie für die sichere Aufbewahrung von
Werkzeugen. Werkzeuge, die nicht gebraucht werden,
müssen an einem trockenen, möglichst hoch gelegenen
Platz aufbewahrt oder unzugänglich eingeschlossen
werden.
17. Achten Sie auf angemessene Kleidung. Die Kleidung
muss zweckmäßig sein und darf Sie beim Arbeiten nicht
behindern.
18. Verwenden Sie persönliche Schutzausrüstungen.
Tragen Sie Sicherheitsschuhe mit Stahlkappen/-
Stahlsohlen und griffiger Sohle.
19. Tragen Sie Gehörschutz. Tragen Sie persönlichen
Schallschutz z.B. Gehörschutzstöpsel.
20. Bleiben Sie immer aufmerksam. Achten Sie auf das,
was Sie tun. Setzen Sie Ihren gesunden
Menschenverstand ein. Verwenden Sie keine
Motorwerkzeuge, wenn Sie müde sind. Unter dem Einfluss
von Alkohol, Drogen oder Medikamenten, die das
Reaktionsvermögen beeinträchtigen darf mit dem Gerät
nicht gearbeitet werden.
21. Benutzungsdauer und Pausen. Eine längere Benutzung
des Gerätes kann zu vibrationsbedingten
Durchblutungsstörungen der Hände führen. Sie können
die Benutzungsdauer jedoch durch geeignete Handschuhe
oder regelmäßige Pausen verlängern. Achten Sie darauf,
dass die persönliche Veranlagung zu schlechter
Durchblutung, niedrige Außentemperaturen oder große
Greifkräfte beim Arbeiten die Benutzungsdauer verringern.
22. Achten Sie auf beschädigte Teile. Untersuchen Sie das
Werkzeug, bevor Sie es benutzen. Sind einzelne Teile
beschädigt? Fragen Sie sich bei leichten Beschädigungen
ernsthaft, ob das Werkzeug trotzdem einwandfrei und
sicher funktionieren wird. Achten Sie auf die korrekte
Ausrichtung und Einstellung von beweglichen Teilen.
Greifen die Teile richtig ineinander? Sind Teile
beschädigt? Ist alles korrekt installiert? Stimmen alle
sonstigen Voraussetzungen für die einwandfreie Funktion?
Beschädigte Schutzvorrichtungen etc. müssen von
autorisierten Personen ordnungsgemäß repariert oder
ausgewechselt werden, sofern nicht in der
Bedienungsanleitung ausdrücklich anders erläutert.
Defekte Schalter müssen von einer autorisierten Stelle
ausgewechselt werden. Bei anfallenden Reparaturen
wenden Sie sich bitte an Ihr örtliches Service Center.
23. Ziehen Sie immer den Netzstecker von der Steckdose ab,
bevor Sie Einstellungen oder Wartungsarbeiten
vornehmen.
24. Verwenden Sie nur zugelassene Teile. Verwenden Sie
bei Wartung und Reparatur nur identische Ersatzteile.
Wenden Sie sich für Ersatzteile an ein zugelassenes
Service Center.
Warnung! Die Verwendung von anderen Saugdüsen
sowie Zubehör und Anbauteilen, die nicht ausdrücklich
empfohlen werden, kann die Gefährdung von Personen und
Objekten nach sich ziehen.
Das Werkzeug darf nur für den vorgesehenen
Verwendungszweck benutzt werden. Jede Zweckentfremdung
wird als unsachgemäße Verwendung betrachtet. Für Sach- und
Personenschäden, die aus einer solchen, unsachgemäßen
Verwendung resultieren, ist allein der Benutzer verantwortlich,
auf keinen Fall der Hersteller.
Der Hersteller kann nicht haftbar gemacht werden, wenn seine
Maschinen verändert oder unsachgemäß verwendet werden
und wenn daraus Schäden entstehen.
ACHTUNG!
Auch bei sachgemäßer Verwendung des Werkzeugs bleibt
immer ein gewisses Restrisiko, das nicht ausgeschlossen
werden kann. Aus der Art und Konstruktion des Werkzeugs
können die folgenden potentiellen Gefährdungen abgeleitet
werden:
xKontakt mit dem ungeschützten Rotorgebläse
(Schnittverletzungen).
xHineingreifen in den laufenden Rotor
(Schnittverletzungen).
xHörschäden, wenn kein angemessener Schutz getragen
wird.
xGesundheitsschädliche Staub- bzw. Gasentwicklung bei
Einsatz der Maschine in geschlossenen Räumen
(Übelkeit).
Der Aufenthalt im Gefahrenbereich der Maschine ist verboten.
Erlauben Sie niemals Kindern oder anderen
Personen, die die Gebrauchsanweisung nicht kennen, die
Maschine zu benutzen.
Örtliche Bestimmungen können das Mindestalter des Benutzers
festlegen.
Saugen Sie niemals während andere Personen, insbesondere
Kinder oder Tiere, in der Nähe sind. Denken Sie daran, dass
der Maschinenführer oder der Benutzer für Unfälle mit anderen
Personen oder deren Eigentum verantwortlich ist.
Bei Beschädigungen an dem Anschlusskabel des
Geräts wenden Sie sich unbedingt an eine
Elektrofachkraft. Nehmen Sie unter keinen Umständen
eigenhändige Reparaturen durch.
Dieses Gerät ist nicht für den Gebrauch von Personen
(einschließlich Kindern) bestimmt, die körperlich,
sensorisch oder geistig eingeschränkt sind. Auch
Personen mit Mangel an Erfahrung oder Wissen über das
Gerät ist es untersagt mit dem Gerät zu arbeiten.
Keine brennenden oder glühenden Gegenstände, wie
z.B. Zigaretten, Streichhölzer oder ähnliches saugen.
Wenn Glas, Metall oder andere Materialien von Hand aus
dem Sammelbehälter entfernt werden, unbedingt
Schutzhandschuhe tragen, um Verletzungen zu vermeiden.
Mangelhafte Beleuchtung stellt ein hohes Sicherheitsrisiko
dar.

Verhalten im Notfall
Leiten Sie die der Verletzung entsprechend notwendigen Erste
Hilfe Maßnahmen ein und fordern Sie schnellst möglich
qualifizierte ärztliche Hilfe an. Bewahren Sie den Verletzten vor
weiteren Schädigungen und stellen Sie diesen ruhig.
Für einen eventuell eintretenden Unfall sollte immer ein
Verbandskasten nach DIN 13164 am Arbeitsplatz griffbereit
vorhanden sein. Dem Verbandskasten entnommenes
Material ist sofort wieder aufzufüllen. Wenn Sie Hilfe
anfordern, machen Sie folgende Angaben:
1. Ort des Unfalls

3. Zahl der Verletzten
4. Art der Verletzungen
Entsorgung
Die Entsorgungshinweise ergeben sich aus den Piktogrammen
die auf dem Gerät bzw. der Verpackung aufgebracht sind. Eine
Beschreibung der einzelnen Bedeutungen finden Sie im Kapitel
„Kennzeichnung“.
Entsorgung der Transportverpackung
Die Verpackung schützt das Gerät vor Transportschäden. Die
Verpackungsmaterialien sind in der Regel nach
umweltverträglichen und entsorgungstechnischen
Gesichtspunkten ausgewählt und deshalb recycelbar. Das
Rückführen der Verpackung in den Materialkreislauf spart
Rohstoffe und verringert das Abfallaufkommen.
Verpackungsteile (z.B. Folien, Styropor®) können für Kinder
gefährlich sein. Es besteht Erstickungsgefahr! Bewahren Sie
Verpackungsteile außerhalb der Reichweite von Kindern auf
und entsorgen Sie sie so schnell wie möglich.


Gewährleistung
Die Gewährleistungszeit beträgt 12 Monate bei gewerblicher
Nutzung, 24 Monate für Verbraucher und beginnt mit dem
Zeitpunkt des Kaufs des Gerätes.
Die Gewährleistung erstreckt sich ausschließlich auf Mängel,
die auf Material- oder Herstellungsfehler zurückzuführen sind.
Bei Geltendmachung eines Mangels im Sinne der
Gewährleistung ist der Kaufbeleg - der das Verkaufsdatum
auszuweisen hat - mit Verkaufsdatum beizufügen.
Von der Gewährleistung ausgeschlossen sind unsachgemäße
Nutzung, wie z. B. Überlastung des Gerätes,
Gewaltanwendung, Beschädigungen durch Fremdeinwirkung,
Fremdkörper, sowie Nichtbeachtung der Gebrauchs- und
Aufbauanleitung und normaler Verschleiß.

Montage / Erstinbetriebnahme
1. Entnehmen Sie die Maschine aus der Verpackung und
montieren Sie zuerst das Saugrohr (Abb. 1/1) auf den
Saugschlauch (Abb. 1/5)
2. Schieben Sie das andere Ende des Saugschlauches in den
Saugstutzen (Abb. 1/3).
Der Güde-Aschesauger GA 18L ist nun Betriebsbereit.
Bedienung
Sicherheitshinweise für Bedienung:
xVerwenden Sie bei Arbeiten im Freien ausschließlich dafür
zugelassene Verlängerungskabel.
xDer Stecker und die Steckdose müssen wasserdicht sein
und das Kabel muss entsprechend der benötigten Länge
folgenden Querschnitt aufweisen:
x1,5 mm2bei einer maximalen Länge von 10 m bzw. 2,5
mm2bei einer maximalen Länge von 15 m. Ungeeignete
Verlängerungsleitungen können gefährlich sein!
xSaugen Sie mit diesem Gerät keine giftigen, ätzenden oder
gesundheitsschädlichen Stoffe auf.
xSaugen Sie mit diesem Gerät weder Wasser noch andere
Flüssigkeiten auf.
xSaugen Sie mit diesem Gerät keine größeren
Holzkohlestücke ein, die sich im Schlauch festsetzen
könnten.
xSaugen Sie mit diesem Gerät keine heißen oder
brennenden bzw. glimmenden Stoffe (z. B. heiße Asche)
auf.
xVerwenden Sie dieses Gerät ausschließlich zum
Aufsaugen kalter Asche. Saugen Sie mit diesem Gerät
keine Heizkessel oder Ölfeueröfen aus und auch keinen
Putz- oder Zementstaub auf.


Motor einschalten
Den Schalter (Abb. 1/6) auf Position „ON“ stellen
Motor ausschalten
Schalten Sie den Schalter (Abb. 1/6) auf Pos. „OFF“
Filter wechseln
Der Filtereinsatz kann zum Wechseln oder Reinigen durch
ziehen (Abb. 2) herausgenommen bzw. durch aufschieben
wieder aufgesteckt werden.
Inspektion und Wartung
Sicherheitshinweise für die Inspektion und Wartung
Nach jedem Einsatz ist die Maschine und ganz besonders
die Saugdüse zu reinigen!
Für die einwandfreie Funktion Ihrer Maschine ist eine
regelmäßige Wartung unerlässlich.
Insbesondere die Saugdüse und der Filter müssen sorgfältig
gereinigt und gewartet werden, um Schäden oder gar Unfälle
zu vermeiden.
Bevor Sie mit den Wartungsarbeiten beginnen ist:
- der Netzstecker abzuziehen,
- die Maschine standsicher aufzustellen,
-abzuwarten bis der Motor abgekühlt ist.
Lassen Sie eventuell anfallende Reparaturen unbedingt
ausschließlich von geschultem Fachpersonal durchführen.
Vor allen Um- und Einstellungen bzw. Wartungsarbeiten
des Gerätes, ist der Netzstecker zu ziehen!
Reinigung
Gerät stets sauber und ordentlich halten!
Den Motor nur mit einem Lappen reinigen.
Abspritzen mit einem starken Wasserstrahl vermeiden.
Filter säubern
Zur Erhaltung der maximalen Saugleistung des Aschesaugers
empfehlen wir, den Filter (möglichst nach jedem Einsatz)
grob zu reinigen um eventuelle Verschmutzungen Ihrer
Wohnräume zu vermeiden, führen Sie diese Maßnahme
möglichst im Freien durch:
Den Aschesauger 3-5 mal mäßig hart auf den Boden absetzten
(Abb. 3), damit der gröbste Schmutz vom Metallsieb des Filters
abfällt.
Lassen Sie den Sauger danach 2-3 Minuten stehen, bis sich die
Aschewolke im Sauger aufgelöst hat.
Öffnen Sie den Behälterdeckel, ziehen Sie den Filter durch
leichtes drehen im Uhrzeigersinn heraus und säubern Sie
diesen durch Abklopfen der äußeren Staubschicht an der
Innenwand des Aschebehälters (Abb. 4).
Sobald sich die Saugleistung des Saugers, auch nach einer
groben Reinigung nicht wesentlich verbessert, ist der Filter
durch umlaufendes Ausklopfen (Abb. 5) oder durch vorsichtiges
Ausblasen mit Druckluft im Freien, gründlich zu reinigen oder
zu ersetzen (Art.-Nr.: 16731).
ACHTUNG! Führen Sie wenn möglich danach einen kurzen
Probelauf im Freien durch, damit durch den Wechsel bzw.
die Reinigung entstandenen Staubpartikel entweichen
können.

The appliance corresponds to EU Machine Directive in
force.
The vacuum cleaner has been exclusively designed for
cleaning of wood-heat stoves and fireplaces in a cold condition.
Use the appliance only in dry weather and on cold
surfaces (never use the appliance when wet)
The appliance is not suitable for vacuuming of
flammable, explosive, toxic, carcinogenic and other
deleterious matters and materials.
The machine cannot be used for works other than for which the
machine has been designed and that are specified in the
Operating Instructions.
Any other use is a use in conflict with the designation. The
manufacturer will not be liable for any consequential damage
and injuries. Please be sure to know that the machine has not
been designed for industrial purposes. 
Operator requirements
The operator must carefully read the Operating Instructions
before using the machine.
Qualification
No special qualification is necessary for using the machine
apart from detailed instruction by an expert.
Minimum age
The machine can only be operated by persons over 18 years of
age. An exception includes youngsters operating the machine
within their professional education to achieve necessary skills
under trainer's supervision.
Training
Using the machine only requires appropriate instructions by a
professional or reading the Operating Instructions. No special
training necessary.
General safety instructions
Please read carefully the Operating Instructions.
Get acquainted with the setting-up and proper use of the
appliance.
You must read the entire Operating Instructions before
using the appliance. Should you have any doubts about the
appliance connection and operation please contact the
producer (service department).
The appliance can only be used with safety switch against
stray current (RCD) 30mA.
TO ENSURE HIGH SAFETY LEVEL, PLEASE FOLLOW
CAREFULLY THE INSTRUCTIONS BELOW:
CAUTION
1. The person operating the vacuum cleaner is responsible
for safety of bystanders.
2. Children and pets must stay in a safe distance from the
power-driven ash vacuum cleaner (at least 6 m).
3. Always wear safe and non-slip shoes, gloves, protective
glasses and long trousers when working with the ash
vacuum cleaner.
4. Never point the powered ash vacuum cleaner at face.
5. Make sure hands, legs and pieces of clothes do not get
near holes and moving parts.
6. Do not wear loose clothes or jewels that could be dragged
into air inlet.
7. Before putting the ash vacuum cleaner into operation,
make always sure it has been assembled properly.
8. Never use the ash vacuum cleaner when raining and in a
wet environment.
9. Keep all handles and fixtures dry and clean.
10. Before switching the ash vacuum cleaner on, make sure
all outward nuts, bolts and screws are tightened and
secured.
11. Never let the ash vacuum cleaner run when on its side. It
has only been developed to be operated in a vertical
position.
12. Do not vacuum burning materials such as cigarette stubs
or charcoal.
13. Do not vacuum flammable, toxic and explosive materials.
14. Do not let strange persons get near the appliance.
Keep visitors and bystanders, especially children and ill or
weak persons in a safe distance from the place of your
work. Make sure no other persons can touch the
appliance.
15. Never use the appliance when raining or when there is
ice and snow!
16. Ensure safe storing of tools. Appliances that you do not
use should be kept in a dry place, in an elevated position if
possible, or locked in order not to be accessed by children.
17. Make sure you wear reasonable clothes. You clothes
must correspond to the work purpose and must not limit
you in the work.
18. Use personal protective equipment. Wear safety shoes
with steel toe boxes and non-slip sole.
19. Wear hearing protection equipment. Wear personal
hearing protection equipment such as ear plugs.
20. Always watch what is going on. Pay attention to what
you are doing. Use common sense when working. Do not
use power appliances when tired. Do not work with the
appliance when impaired, intoxicated or under the
influence of drugs that reduce the concentration ability.


21. Time of use and breaks. After some time of using the
appliance you may face problems with hand blood
perfusion due to vibrations. However, the time of using the
appliance can be extended by wearing suitable gloves and
taking regular breaks. Be sure to know the time of using of
power-driven appliances is reduced by personal
propensity to poor blood perfusion, low outside
temperatures or strong pressing of the appliance during
work.
22. Look out for damaged parts. Inspect the appliance
before using it. Are there any parts damaged? If there is
any slight damage, please seriously consider whether the
appliance is going to work safely and properly despite that
damage. Make sure the moving parts are adjusted and set
correctly.Do any elements not fit together in a
corresponding manner? Are any of them damaged? Has
everything been installed correctly? Are all other
conditions for faultless working of the appliance fulfilled?
Guard devices, etc. that are damaged must be repaired or
replaced by authorised repairmen unless explicitly
specified otherwise in the Operating Instructions. Have
any fault switch replaced in an authorised shop. If
appliance needs to be repaired, contact the nearest
service centre.
23. Always disconnect the plug before setting-up and
maintenance.
24. Approved parts to be used only. Use identical spare
parts for maintenance and repairs. To that end, contact an
authorised service centre.
Warning! Use of other suction nozzles, accessories and
extensions not explicitly approved can lead to a threat to
persons and objects.
The appliance can only be used for the specified purpose of
use. Any other use is considered unauthorised use. The user
itself, not the producer in any case, will be liable for any
material damage or putting a person at risk.
The producer cannot be liable for any change or unauthorised
use of its appliances and any related damage.
CAUTION!
Even with professional use of the appliance there is always
a certain residual risk that cannot be excluded. The
following potential risks can be derived from the type and
design of the appliance:

and animals near the vacuum cleaner. Be aware of the fact the
machine operator/user is responsible for any accident caused
to other persons or their property.
You should unconditionally contact an electrician if
the feeder cable of the appliance is damaged. Do not
execute any repairs yourself under any circumstances.
The appliance has not been designed to be used by
persons (including children) with physical or sensory
disability or mental disorder. Persons with lack of
experience in or knowledge of the appliance are also
prohibited to work with the appliance.
Do not vacuum burning or smouldering items such as
cigarettes, matches, etc. If you take glass, metal or other
materials out of a collecting vessel with your hands, you
should unconditionally wear protective gloves to prevent
injury. Insufficient lighting represents a high security risk.
Always ensure sufficient lighting when working with the
appliance.

Transport package disposal
The package protects the machine against damage during
transport. Packing materials are usually chosen depending on
their environmental friendliness and disposal method and can
therefore be recycled. Returning the package to material
circulation saves raw materials and reduces waste disposal
costs. Parts of packages (e.g. foils, styropor®) can be
dangerous to children. Risk of suffocation! Keep parts of the
package away from children and dispose them as soon as
possible.
Guarantee
A warranty period of 12 months applies to commercial use and
24 months apply to private use and commences on the day of
purchase of the device.
Warranty applies exclusively to failures due to defective
material or workmanship. An original sale slip with indication of
date of sale must be presented in case of claiming for the
warranty rights.
Warranty does not cover unprofessional use such as device

Inspections and maintenance
Safety instructions for inspections and maintenance
The appliance, especially the suction nozzle needs to be
cleaned after any use!
Regular maintenance is necessary for proper working of
your appliance.
Regular cleaning and maintenance of the suction nozzle must
especially be carried out to prevent damage and accidents in
general.
The following needs to be provided before maintenance:
- disconnect the plug,
- put the appliance to a stable position,
- wait until the engine cools down.
Have any repairs unconditionally executed by trained
professional staff.
Disconnect the plug before every alteration, adjustment or
maintenance of the appliance!


Cleaning
Always keep the appliance clean and in working order!
Clean the engine with just a cloth.
Avoid spraying with heavy water stream.
Filter cleaning
To maintain the maximum suction power of the ash vacuum
cleaner, rough cleaning of the filter is recommended (after
each use if possible).If possible, clean the filter outside to
prevent your home from becoming dirty.
Take the ash vacuum cleaner and hit it hard on the floor for 3-5
times (pic. 3) so that the coarsest pieces of dirt fall off the metal
filter screen.
Le the vacuum cleaner stand for 2-3 minutes to allow dust to
settle down in the vacuum cleaner.
Open the container lid, remove the filter by slight clockwise
rotation and clean it by tapping the outer dust layer on the
container inside out on the ash (pic. 4).
If the vacuum cleaner suction power does not significantly
improve even after rough cleaning, the filter must be thoroughly
cleaned by repeated tapping out (pic. 5) or carefully blowing out
by compressed air outdoors or replace it (Art. No. 16731).
CAUTION! Then, if possible, perform a short test run
outdoors to release dust particles produced during
replacement or cleaning.

AFIN D’ASSURER UN DEGRÉ DE SÉCURITÉ ÉLEVÉ,
RESPECTEZ LES CONSIGNES SUIVANTES:
ATTENTION
1. La personne manipulant l’aspirateur est responsable de la
sécurité des personnes demeurant dans les alentours.
2. Les enfants et animaux doivent rester éloignés à une
distance de sécurité de l’aspirateur en marche (au

aspirés dans la bouche d’air.
7. Avant de mettre l’aspirateur de cendres en marche, veillez
à ce qu’il soit correctement monté.
8. N’utilisez jamais l’aspirateur de cendres sous la pluie ou
l‘humidité.
9. Maintenez toutes les poignées et supports secs et
propres.
10. Avant de mettre l’aspirateur de cendres en marche,
assurez-vous que tous les écrous, goupilles et vis sont
serrés et bloqués.
11. Ne laissez jamais tourner l’aspirateur de cendres couché
sur le côté. Il a été conçu uniquement pour l’utilisation en
position droite.
12. N‘aspirez pas des matières brûlantes, telles que mégots
ou charbon de bois.
13. N‘aspirez pas des matières brûlantes, toxiques ou
explosives.
14. Empêchez l’accès à l’appareil aux tierces personnes.
Éloignez les visiteurs, les spectateurs, en particulier les
enfants, les personnes malades ou faibles, de votre lieu
de travail. Veillez à ce que personne ne puisse toucher
l’appareil.
15. N’utilisez jamais l’appareil sous la pluie, la glace ou la
neige !
16. Assurez un rangement sûr des outils. Rangez les outils
que vous n’utilisez pas à un endroit sec, si possible en
hauteur ou fermez-les de façon à ce qu’ils soient
inaccessibles aux autres personnes.
17. Portez une tenue adéquate. Votre tenue doit être
pratique et ne doit pas vous limiter dans votre travail.
18. Utilisez des accessoires de protection personnels.
Portez des chaussures de sécurité avec bouts en acier et
semelle antidérapante.
19. Portez une protection auditive. Portez des accessoires
de protection auditive personnels, tels que bouchons.
20. Soyez attentifs. Faites attention à ce que vous faites.
Utilisez le bon sens. N’utilisez pas des appareils à moteur


si vous êtes fatigué. N’utilisez pas l’appareil après avoir
consommé de l’alcool, des drogues ou des médicaments
réduisant la capacité de concentration.
21. Durée d’utilisation et poses. Une utilisation prolongée
d’un appareil à moteur peut provoquer des problèmes de
circulation des mains provoqués par les vibrations. Vous
pouvez prolonger la durée d’utilisation de l’appareil en
portant des gants adéquats et en effectuant des poses
régulières. Prenez en considération le fait que la durée
d’utilisation des appareils à moteur est réduite par les
prédispositions aux problèmes de circulation sanguine, les
températures extérieures basses ou un serrage trop
important de l’outil lors du travail.
22. Faites attention aux pièces endommagées. Vérifiez
l’appareil avant de l’utiliser. Certaines pièces sont
endommagées? En cas d’un endommagement léger,
réfléchissez si l’appareil peut fonctionner sûrement et
parfaitement. Toutes les pièces sont-elles correctement
installées? Toutes les conditions d’un fonctionnement
parfait sont-elles réunies ? Il est nécessaire de faire
réparer ou remplacer les dispositifs de protection
endommagés par un réparateur agréé, si la notice ne
stipule pas autrement. Faites remplacer les interrupteurs
défectueux par un atelier autorisé. Lorsque l’interrupteur
de mise en marche/arrêt de l’appareil ne fonctionne pas
correctement, n’utilisez pas l’appareil. Si la buse est usée,
remplacez-la. Pour faire réparer l’appareil, contactez
l’atelier de réparations le plus proche.
23. Arrêtez toujours le moteur avant le réglage et l’entretien.
24. Utilisez uniquement les pièces détachées autorisées.
Lors de l’entretien et des réparations, utilisez uniquement
les pièces détachées adéquates. Pour cela, adressez-
vous au service après-vente agréé.
Avertissement! L’utilisation d’autres buses d’aspiration et
accessoires ou embouts que ceux explicitement recommandés
peut représenter une menace pour des personnes ou objets.
L’appareil doit être utilisé uniquement pour le but déterminé.
Toute autre utilisation contraire à sa désignation est considérée
comme utilisation incompétente. Seul l’utilisateur est
responsable pour tout dommage sur les objets ou blessures
des personnes consécutif à une telle manipulation
incompétente, en aucun cas le fabricant.
Le fabricant ne peut être tenu responsable en cas de
modifications effectuées sur l’appareil ou d’utilisation
incompétente de l’appareil, engendrant des dommages.

Interdisez aux enfants et autres personnes ignorant le mode
d’emploi d’utiliser l’appareil.
Les règles locales peuvent déterminer l’âge minimal de
l’utilisateur.
N’utilisez jamais l’aspirateur en cas de présence d’autres
personnes, surtout des enfants ou des animaux à proximité.
Prenez en considération le fait que l’utilisateur est responsable
des accidents avec d’autres personnes ou leurs biens.
En cas d’endommagement du câble d’alimentation
de l’appareil, contactez un électricien. N’essayez jamais
de réparer le câble vous-même.

Révisions et entretien
Consignes de sécurité relatives aux révisions et à
l’entretien:
Il est nécessaire de nettoyer l’appareil après chaque
utilisation, en particulier la buse d’aspiration!
Un entretien régulier est nécessaire pour assurer un
fonctionnement parfait de votre appareil.
Il est nécessaire en particulier de réaliser le nettoyage régulier
et l’entretien de la buse d’aspiration, ceci pour éviter les
dommages et les accidents en général.
Avant tout entretien, il est nécessaire de:
- retirer la fiche de la prise,
- placez l’appareil de façon à ce qu’il soit stable,
- attendre que le moteur refroidisse.
Confiez les réparations éventuelles à un personnel spécialisé
formé.
Avant toute modification, réglage ou entretien, retirez la
fiche de la prise!
Nettoyage
Maintenez toujours l’appareil propre et en bon état !
Nettoyez le moteur avec un chiffon.
Éviter de l’éclabousser avec un fort jet d’eau.
Nettoyage du filtre
Afin d’assurer la puissance d’aspiration maximale de
l’aspirateur de cendres, nous recommandons de nettoyer
grossièrement le filtre (si possible après chaque utilisation).
Afin d’éviter l’encrassement éventuel de vos pièces
d’habitation, nettoyez le filtre si possible à l’extérieur :
Tapez l’aspirateur de cendres 3-5 fois suffisamment fort (fig. 3)
contre le sol pour que les impuretés les plus grosses tombent
du tamis métallique du filtre.
Ensuite, laissez l’aspirateur 2 à 3 minutes au repos, afin que la
poussière dans l’aspirateur se fixe.
Ouvrez le couvercle du récipient, retirez le filtre en tournant
légèrement dans le sens des aiguilles d’une montre et nettoyez-
le en enlevant la couche supérieure de poussière sur le côté
intérieur du réservoir à cendres (fig. 4).
Si la puissance d’aspiration de s’améliore pas significativement
même après le nettoyage grossier, il est nécessaire de nettoyer
le filtre par un tapotement répété (fig. 5) ou par un soufflage
prudent à l’aide de l’aire comprimé à l’extérieur ou de le
remplacer (n° de commande : 16731).
ATTENTION ! Si possible, procédez ensuite à une marche
d’essai à l’extérieur, afin que les particules de poussière
créées pendant le remplacement ou le nettoyage puissent
s’échapper.
