The appliance corresponds to EU Machine Directive in
force.
Proper use
The vacuum cleaner has been exclusively designed for
cleaning of wood-heat stoves and fireplaces in a cold condition.
Any other use is considered use in conflict with the designation.
Use the appliance only in dry weather and on cold
surfaces (never use the appliance when wet).
The producer will not be liable for any consequential damage;
the risk is bore by the user itself. Keeping the conditions for
operation, maintenance and treatment specified by the
producer is part of the use as designated principle.
Changes made to the appliance by the user exclude producer's
liability for any consequential damage.
The appliance is not suitable for vacuuming of flammable,
explosive, toxic, carcinogenic and other deleterious matters and
materials.
Do not vacuum burning or smouldering items such
as cigarettes, matches, etc.
If you take glass, metal or other materials out of a
collecting vessel with your hands, you should
unconditionally wear protective gloves to prevent injury.
Insufficient lighting represents a high security risk.
Always ensure sufficient lighting when working with the
appliance.

kindly ask you to be aware that we cannot be liable for the
following causes of damage:
failure to follow the Operating Instructions
necessary cleaning works execution omitted
violent use, unauthorised handling, misuse or accident
interventions by non-professionals or unauthorised attempts at
repair.
The ash vacuum cleaner has been exclusively designed for cold
ash vacuuming. The appliance is not suitable for vacuuming of
heating boilers and oil stoves and vacuuming of plaster and
cement dust. Such use can significantly damage the appliance.
Make always sure the vacuumed ash has sufficiently cooled
down and start vacuuming only after that.
General safety instructions
Please read carefully the Operating Instructions.
Get acquainted with the setting-up and proper use of the
appliance.
You must read the entire Operating Instructions before
using the appliance. Should you have any doubts about the
appliance connection and operation please contact the
producer (service department).
The appliance can only be used with safety switch against
stray current (RCD).

TO ENSURE HIGH SAFETY LEVEL, PLEASE FOLLOW
CAREFULLY THE INSTRUCTIONS BELOW:
CAUTION
The person operating the vacuum cleaner is responsible for
safety of bystanders.
Children and pets must stay in a safe distance from the power-
driven ash vacuum cleaner (at least 6 m).
Always wear safe and non-slip shoes, gloves, protective
glasses and long trousers when working with the ash vacuum
cleaner.
Never point the powered ash vacuum cleaner at face.
Make sure hands, legs and pieces of clothes do not get near
holes and moving parts.
Do not wear loose clothes or jewels that could be dragged into
air inlet.
Before putting the ash vacuum cleaner into operation, make
always sure it has been assembled properly.
Never use the ash vacuum cleaner when raining and in a wet
environment.
Keep all handles and fixtures dry and clean.
Before switching the ash vacuum cleaner on, make sure all
outward nuts, bolts and screws are tightened and secured.
Never let the ash vacuum cleaner run when on its side. It has
only been developed to be operated in a vertical position.
Do not vacuum burning materials such as cigarette stubs or
charcoal.
Do not vacuum flammable, toxic and explosive materials.
Do not let strange persons get near the appliance. Keep
visitors and bystanders, especially children and ill or weak
persons in a safe distance from the place of your work. Make
sure no other persons can touch the appliance.
Never use the appliance when raining or when there is ice
and snow!
Ensure safe storing of tools. Appliances that you do not use
should be kept in a dry place, in an elevated position if possible,
or locked in order not to be accessed by children.
Make sure you wear reasonable clothes. You clothes must
correspond to the work purpose and must not limit you in the
work.
Use personal protective equipment. Wear safety shoes with
steel toe boxes and non-slip sole.
Wear hearing protection equipment. Wear personal hearing
protection equipment such as ear plugs.
Always watch what is going on. Pay attention to what you
are doing. Use common sense when working. Do not use
power appliances when tired. Do not work with the appliance
when impaired, intoxicated or under the influence of drugs that
reduce the concentration ability.
Time of use and breaks. After some time of using the
appliance you may face problems with hand blood perfusion
due to vibrations. However, the time of using the appliance can
be extended by wearing suitable gloves and taking regular
breaks. Be sure to know the time of using of power-driven
appliances is reduced by personal propensity to poor blood
perfusion, low outside temperatures or strong pressing of the
appliance during work.
Look out for damaged parts. Inspect the appliance before
using it. Are there any parts damaged? If there is any slight
damage, please seriously consider whether the appliance is
going to work safely and properly despite that damage. Make
sure the moving parts are adjusted and set correctly. Do any
elements not fit together in a corresponding manner? Are any of
them damaged? Has everything been installed correctly? Are all
other conditions for faultless working of the appliance fulfilled?
Guard devices, etc. that are damaged must be repaired or
replaced by authorised repairmen unless explicitly specified
otherwise in the Operating Instructions. Have any fault switch
replaced in an authorised shop. If appliance needs to be
repaired, contact the nearest service centre.
Always disconnect the plug before setting-up and maintenance.
Approved parts to be used only. Use identical spare parts for
maintenance and repairs. To that end, contact an authorised
service centre.
Warning! Use of other suction nozzles, accessories and
extensions not explicitly approved can lead to a threat to
persons and objects.
The appliance can only be used for the specified purpose of
use. Any other use is considered unauthorised use. The user
itself, not the producer in any case, will be liable for any material
damage or putting a person at risk.
The producer cannot be liable for any change or unauthorised
use of its appliances and any related damage.
CAUTION!
Even with professional use of the appliance there is always
a certain residual risk that cannot be excluded. The
following potential risks can be derived from the type and
design of the appliance:
contact with exposed impeller fan (cutting injuries)
touching the rotating impeller (cutting injuries)
hearing damage if reasonable protection fails to be provided
deleterious formation of dust or gas if appliance is used in
closed spaces (sickness).
Stay in dangerous area of the appliance is prohibited.
Never allow children and other persons not familiarised with the
Operating Instructions to use the appliance.
Local regulations can determine minimum age of the user.
Never vacuum if there are other persons, especially children
and animals near the vacuum cleaner. Be aware of the fact the
machine operator/user is responsible for any accident caused to
other persons or their property.
You should unconditionally contact an electrician if the
feeder cable of the appliance is damaged. Do not execute
any repairs yourself under any circumstances.
The appliance has not been designed to be used by
persons (including children) with physical or sensory
disability or mental disorder. Persons with lack of
experience in or knowledge of the appliance are also
prohibited to work with the appliance.
Behaviour in case of emergency
Provide necessary first aid treatment corresponding to the injury
nature and seek qualified medical help as soon as possible.
Protect the injured person from other injuries and calm him/her
down.
First aid kit must always be available in the place of your
work in case of accident in accordance with DIN 13164.
Material taken out of the first aid kit needs to be
supplemented right away.

Disposal

Operating staff requirements
The operator must carefully read and understand the Operating
Instructions before using the appliance.
Qualification
No special qualification is necessary for using the appliance
apart from detailed instruction by an expert.
Minimum age
The appliance can only be operated by persons over 16 years
of age. An exception includes youngsters operating the
appliance within their professional education to achieve
necessary skills under trainer's supervision.
Training
Using the appliance requires only corresponding instruction by
a professional or reading the Operating Instructions. No special
training necessary.

Transport and storing
Safety instructions for first start-up
Use exclusively approved extension cables for outdoor works.
The plug and socket must be waterproof and the cable must be
of the necessary length and have the following cross-section:
1.5 mm2 with maximum length of 10 m or 2.5 mm2 with
maximum length of 15 m. Unsuitable extension cables can be
dangerous!
Do not vacuum toxic, caustic and deleterious substances with
this appliance.
Do not vacuum water or any other liquids with this appliance.
Do not vacuum bigger pieces of charcoal with this appliance as
they could get jammed within the hose.
Do not vacuum hot or burning or smouldering substances (e.g.
hot ash) with this appliance.
Use the appliance exclusively for vacuuming of cold ash. Do not
vacuum heating boilers and oil stoves and plaster and cement
dust with this appliance.

Maintenance and storing
Make sure all nuts, bolts and screws are properly tightened and
the appliance is in a safe operating state.
Assembly / first start-up
Take the appliance out of the package and fit the suction nozzle
(pos. 1) on the suction hose (pos.6) first
Insert the other end of the suction hose to the air intake (pos. 4)

Filter cleaning
If necessary, clean the filter while the appliance is in operation
by pressing the cleaning button two to three times for app. 5

If you want to change or clean the filter insert, remove it by
screwing it out (pos. 8)
Inspections and maintenance
Have any repairs unconditionally executed by trained
professional staff.
Disconnect the plug before every alteration, adjustment or
maintenance of the appliance!

General instructions
Follow especially the safety instructions
Regular maintenance is necessary for proper working of
your appliance.
Regular cleaning and maintenance of the suction nozzle must
especially be carried out to prevent damage and accidents in
general.
The following needs to be provided before maintenance:
- disconnect the plug,
- put the appliance to a stable position,
wait until the engine cools down.
Cleaning
Always keep the appliance clean and in working order!
Clean the engine with just a cloth. Avoid spraying with heavy
water stream.
