‐RTSThreshold:RTSstandsfor‘Requesttosend’andissendbytheclienttotheaccesspoint–it
essentiallyasksforpermissiontosendthenextdatapacket.Thelowerthethreshold,themore
stableyourWi‐Finetwork,sinceitessentiallyasksmoreoftenwhensendingpackages.However,
ifyoudon’thaveproblemswithyourWi‐FiyoushouldmakesurethattheRTSThresholdissetto
themaximumallowed.
‐AckTimeoutcontrol:802.11a/b/gwirelessdevicesuseanumberoftimeconstants,definedby
theIEEEspecifications,tosenseothercarriersusingthewirelessmediaandavoidcollisions.
