montageanleitung sorgfältig zu lesen! Diese Originalmontageanleitung ist Bestandteil
des AUW Ölprotektors und muss immer in unmittelbarer Nähe des Aufstellungsortes
aufbewahrt werden.

• Bewahren Sie diese Anleitung in der Nähe der AUW Ölprotektoren auf.
• Die Aufstellung und Montage der AUW Ölprotektoren und deren Komponenten
ist durch Fachpersonal durchzuführen.
• Aufstellung, Anschluss und Betrieb der AUW Ölprotektoren und deren Komponenten
müssen innerhalb der Einsatz und Betriebsbedingungen gemäß Anleitung erfolgen
und den geltenden regionalen Vorschriften entsprechen.
• Die Kondensatwanne ist zu erden.
• Umbau oder Veränderung der von GUS GewässerUmweltSchutz GmbH
gelieferten Protektoren oder deren Komponenten sind nicht zulässig und können
Fehlfunktionen verursachen. Die AUW Ölprotektoren und deren Komponenten
dürfen nicht in Bereichen mit erhöhter Beschädigungsgefahr betrieben werden.
Mindestfreiräume sind einzuhalten.
• Die Betriebssicherheit der AUW Ölprotektoren und deren Komponenten sind nur bei
bestimmungsgemäßer Verwendung und im komplett montierten Zustand gewähr
leistet. Sicherheitseinrichtungen dürfen nicht verändert oder überbrückt werden.
• Die Bedienung von AUW Ölprotektoren oder deren Komponenten mit augenfälligen
Mängeln oder Beschädigungen ist zu unterlassen.
• Die AUW Ölprotektoren und deren Komponenten erfordern einen ausreichenden
Sicherheitsabstand zu entzündlichen, explosiven, brennbaren, aggressiven und
verschmutzten Bereichen oder Atmosphären. Montage, Reparaturen und War
tungen dürfen ausschließlich von autorisiertem Fachpersonal, Sichtkontrollen
und Reinigungen können vom Betreiber durchgeführt werden.
• Bei der Montage, Reparatur, Wartung oder Reinigung der AUW Ölprotektoren
sind durch geeignete Maßnahmen Vorkehrungen zu tre󰄜en, um von dem AUW
Ölprotektor ausgehende Gefahren für Personen auszuschließen.

anleitung aufmerksam durch. Sie enthält
nützliche Tipps, Hinweise sowie Warn
hinweise zur Gefahrenabwendung von

Entsorgung
der Verpackung
Alle Produkte werden für den Transport
sorgfältig verpackt. Leisten Sie einen
wert vollen Beitrag zur Abfallvermeidung
und Erhaltung von Rohsto󰄜en und ent
sorgen Sie das Verpackungsmaterial
daher nur bei entsprechenden Sammel
stellen.
Gewährleistung
Die Gewährleistungsbedingungen sind in den „Allgemeinen Geschäfts und Lieferbe
dingungen“ aufgeführt. Wenden Sie sich bitte erst an Ihren direkten Vertragspartner.
Beschreibung
Durch das Wasserhaushaltsgesetz und die Anlagenverordnung ist der Umgang mit
wassergefährdenden Sto󰄜en geregelt. Der aus reinem Aluminium hergestellte AUW
Ölprotektor hilft, diese Vorgabe gemäß Gesetzeslage zu erfüllen.
Er verhindert im Leckagefall, dass austretendes Öl der Wassergefährdungsklasse
eins bis drei, im Rahmen der rechtlichen Anforderungen, die Umwelt verschmutzt.
Die patentrechtlich geschützte Au󰄜angwanne mit integriertem Ölabscheider führt
die höchste in Deutschland gemessene Niederschlagsmenge ab, ohne, dass es zum
Überlaufen der Wanne kommt. Die verfügbaren Standardgrößen gewährleisten eine
kurzfristige Lieferung des Sicherheitssystems für alle gängigen Splitgeräte.

Montage
Der Abscheider arbeitet nach dem
gleichen Prinzip wie der des CUW Ölpro
tektors. Durch die beidseitigen Ausläufe
können Verschmutzungen sofort erkannt
werden und auch die Reinigung des Ab
scheiders ist erheblich vereinfacht.
Schieben Sie, nachdem Sie die Aufstell
füße mit dem Befestigungssystem für
Wandmontage oder Bodenaufstellung
befestigt haben, den AUW Ölprotektor
von rechts oder links zwischen den vor
montierten Aufstellfüßen ein. Stellen Sie
das Außengerät auf die Aufstellfüße.
Durch leichtes Anziehen der Schrau
ben klemmen Sie den Protektor in der
Halterung fest.
Die Abmessungen erlauben die Installa
tion von Ver󰄞 üssigungssätzen und
Maschinen vieler namhafter Hersteller
und ermöglichen die Installation auf
handelsüblichen Aufstellbalken, Schwin
gungsdämpfern und Wandkonsolen.

Warnhinweis
Bitte vermeiden Sie, dass andere
Metalle mit dem AUW Ölprotektor in
Berührung kommen beziehungsweise
informieren Sie sich über mögliche
Bimetallkorrosion.
Wartung
Der AUW Ölprotektor sollte in regel
mäßigen Abständen überprüft und
gereinigt werden, da unter Umständen
Laub und andere Verunreinigungen den
Ölabscheider in seiner Funktion beein
trächtigen können. Der Ölabscheider
kann durch den Wasser ablauf gespült
werden.

Reinigung
Bei Spuren von wassergefährdenden
Sto󰄜en im AUW Ölprotektor setzen Sie
die darauf be󰄝ndliche Kälteanlage sofort
außer Betrieb. Überprüfen Sie die Anla
ge auf Undichtigkeiten. Spuren wasser
gefährdender Sto󰄜e sind fachgerecht zu
entsorgen.
Bitte beachten Sie, dass verschiedene
Reinigungsmittel Öl im Wasser au󰄞ösen.
Wird ein solches Reinigungsmittel ver
wendet, muss der Protektor so lange
im Wasser gespült werden, bis sich kein
Reinigungsmittel mehr im AUW Ölpro
tektor be󰄝ndet.

• The installation and assembly of the AUW Oil protectors and their components
may only be carried out by quali󰄝ed personnel.
• Installation, connection and operation of the AUW Oil protectors and their compo
nents must be carried out in accordance with operating conditions as described
in the instructions, and in compliance with applicable regional regulations.
• The condensate drip tray must be earthed.
• Modi󰄝cations to the protectors or their components supplied by GUS Gewässer
UmweltSchutz GmbH may cause malfunctions and are not permitted. The AUW Oil
protectors and their components must not be operated in areas where there is an
increased risk of damage. Minimum clearances must be observed.
• The operational safety of the AUW Oil protectors and their components can only
be guaranteed if they are used as intended and if they are fully assembled. Safety
devices must not be changed or bypassed.
• Do not operate the AUW Oil protectors or their components if there are visible
defects, or if they appear to be damaged.
• The AUW Oil protectors and their components must be kept at a safe distance
from 󰄞ammable, explosive, combustible, aggressive and polluted areas or
environments. Assembly, repairs and maintenance must only be carried out
by authorized specialist personnel. Visual inspections and cleaning can be carried
out by the operator.
• When assembling, repairing, maintaining or cleaning the AUW Oil protectors,
appropriate measures must be taken to prevent risks to people.

materials only at designated collection

Description
The German Water Resources Act and the German Systems Ordinance regulate the
handling of waterpolluting substances. The stainless steel AUW Oil protector helps
meet these legal requirements.
In the event of leaks, it prevents oil from water hazard classes one to three from
contaminating the environment, as per legal requirements. The patented collection
basin with integrated oil separator removes the highest amount of precipitation
measured in Germany, without causing the tray to over󰄞ow. The standard sizes
guarantee shortterm delivery of the safety system for all common split devices.

Assembly
The separator operates according to the
same principle as that of the CUW oil
protector. Thanks to the outlets on both
sides, contamination can be detected
immediately, and cleaning the separator
also becomes considerably easier.
After securing the mounting feet with
the wall or 󰄞 oor mounting system,
insert the AUW Oil protector from the
right or left between the preassembled
mounting feet. Place the outdoor unit
on the mounting feet. Slightly tighten
the screws to clamp the protector in the
holder.
The dimensions allow the installation of
condensing units and machines of many
wellknown manufacturers, and allow in
stallation on standard mounting beams,
vibration dampers and wall brackets.

Warning
Make sure that other metals do not
come into contact with the AUW Oil
protector, or obtain information about
possible bimetallic corrosion.
Maintenance
Because leaves and other particles can
impair the function of the AUW Oil
protector, make sure it is checked and
cleaned regularly. The oil separator can
be 󰄞ushed through the water drain.
Cleaning
In case of traces of waterpolluting
substances in the AUW Oil protector,
shut down the refrigeration system on it
immediately. Check the installation for
leaks. Traces of waterpolluting substan
ces must be disposed of properly.
Please note that various cleaning agents
dissolve oil in water. If this type of
cleaning agent is used, the AUW Oil pro
tector must be rinsed in water until all
traces of the cleaning agent have been
removed from it.
