INSTRUCTIONS DE SÉCURITÉ
Ce manuel d’utilisation comprend des indications sur le
fonctionnement de l'appareil et les précautions à suivre pour
la sécurité de l'utilisateur. Merci de le lire attentivement avant
la première utilisation et de le conserver soigneusement
pour toute relecture future. Ces instructions doivent être lues
et bien comprises avant toute opération. Toute modication
ou maintenance non indiquée dans le manuel ne doit pas
être entreprise. Tout dommage corporel ou matériel dû à
une utilisation non-conforme aux instructions de ce manuel
ne pourra être retenu à la charge du fabricant. En cas de
problème ou d’incertitude, consulter une personne qualiée
pour manier correctement l’appareil. Cet appareil doit
être utilisé uniquement pour faire de la recharge et/ou de
l’alimentation dans les limites indiquées sur l’appareil et le
manuel. Il faut respecter les instructions relatives à la sécurité.
En cas d’utilisation inadéquate ou dangereuse, le fabricant
ne pourra être tenu responsable.
Appareil destiné à un usage à l’intérieur. Il ne doit pas être
exposé à la pluie.
Cet appareil peut être utilisé par des enfants âgés d’au moins
8 ans et par des personnes ayant des capacités physiques,
sensorielles ou mentales réduites ou dénuées d’expérience ou
de connaissance, s’ils (si elles) sont correctement surveillé(e)
s ou si des instructions relatives à l’utilisation de l’appareil en
toute sécurité leur ont été données et si les risques encourus
ont été appréhendés. Les enfants ne doivent pas jouer avec
l’appareil. Le nettoyage et l’entretien par l’usager ne doivent
pas être effectués par des enfants sans surveillance.
A n’utiliser en aucun cas pour charger des piles ou des
batteries non-rechargeables.
Ne pas utiliser l’appareil, si le cordon d’alimentation ou la
che de secteur sont endommagés.
Ne pas utiliser l’appareil, si le cordon de charge est
endommagé ou présente un défaut d’assemblage, an
d’éviter tout risque de court-circuit de la batterie.
Ne jamais charger une batterie gelée ou endommagée.
Ne pas couvrir l’appareil.
Ne pas placer l’appareil à proximité d’une source de
chaleur et à des températures durablement élevées
(supérieurs à 50°C).
Ne pas obstruer les ouvertures de ventilation. Se référer à
la partie installation avant d’utiliser l’appareil.
Le mode de fonctionnement automatique ainsi que les
restrictions applicables à l’utilisation sont expliqués ci-après

Entretien :
• L’entretien ne doit être effectué que par une personne
qualiée.
• Avertissement ! Débrancher toujours la che de la prise
d’entrée USB avant d’effectuer des travaux sur l’appareil.
• N’utiliser en aucun cas des solvants ou autres produits
nettoyants agressifs.
• Nettoyer les surfaces de l’appareil à l’aide d’un chiffon sec.
• Ne pas essayer d’ouvrir le produit sous risque de danger
électrique.

Mise au rebut :
• Ce matériel fait l’objet d’une collecte sélective. Ne pas

• La batterie doit être retirée de l’appareil avant que celui-
ci ne soit mis au rebut.
• L’appareil doit impérativement être déconnecté du réseau
d’alimentation avant de retirer la batterie.
DESCRIPTION DU PRODUIT
Le POWER PACK 520 est une station d’énergie portable adaptée à l’alimentation de secours à domicile, aux déplace-
ments en extérieur, aux interventions d’urgence ou encore aux travaux sur le terrain. Il est dôté d’une batterie interne
(Lithium-Ion Polymère) d’une capacité de 518 Wh (20 Ah) permettant d’alimenter tous types d’appareils fonctionnant
en 5 / 9 / 12 / 15 / 20 Vdc ainsi qu’en 230 Vac grâce à son convertisseur interne.

ÉCRAN LUMINEUX LCD
L’achage LED indique la capacité de la batterie interne ainsi que les entrées et sorties utilisées sur le POWER PACK 520.
Appuyer sur le bouton (1), l’écran LCD s’allume. Dans le cas où toutes les sorties sont inactives : après 10 secondes
d’inactivité, le rétro-éclairage s’éteint. Après 30 secondes d’inactivité, l’écran s’éteint. Le POWER PACK 520 se met en
veille automatiquement.

Le POWER PACK 520 est actif. Il se décharge car il y un consommateur sur
l’une de ses sorties et ne peut se mettre en veille.
FONCTIONNEMENT DES DIFFÉRENTS MODES D’ALIMENTATION
Allumer le POWER PACK 520 en appuyant sur le bouton On / O (1). L’écran s’allume.
1 / Utilisation des sorties 230 Vac
1. Appuyer sur le bouton (4) pour activer les sorties AC (5), l’icône s’allume sur l’écran LCD.
2. Brancher l’appareil souhaité à l’une des prises AC (5).
3. Appuyer à nouveau sur le bouton (4) pour désactiver les sorties (5).
La consommation totale de tous les appareils branchés sur le POWER PACK 520 doit être inférieure à sa
capacité maximale de 500 W.
2 / Utilisation des sorties 12 VdC
1. Appuyer sur le bouton (6) pour activer les sorties DC, l’icône apparait sur l’écran LCD.
2. Connecter l’appareil souhaité à l’un des ports de sortie 12 V (8) ou à la prise allume-cigare (7).
3. Appuyer de nouveau sur le bouton (6) pour désactiver les sorties DC.
3 / Utilisation des sorties USB
1. Appuyer sur le bouton (9) pour activer les sorties USB. Les icônes et apparaissent sur l’écran LCD.
2. Connecter l’appareil souhaité au port USB correspondant :

(11) USB Quick Charge 3.0 (5 V / 3 A) Les icônes et apparaissent à l’écran.

3. Appuyer de nouveau sur le bouton (9) pour désactiver les sorties USB.
Pour éteindre le POWER PACK 520 :
- eectuer un appui long sur le bouton On / O (1) (> 2 s)
- désactiver toutes les sorties et attendre 30 secondes, le POWER PACK 520 se met en veille automatiquement.
Les spécications d’interface et les normes de tension sont diérentes dans les diérents pays.
Avant de l’utiliser, vérier soigneusement si les spécications du produit sont conformes aux
spécications d’utilisation des appareils électriques, sinon cela peut conduire à des conditions
dangereuses.
Le POWER PACK dispose d’une protection en cas de surcharge. Si un appareil à courant
alternatif nécessite une puissance supérieure à la puissance nominale du POWER PACK 520
(500 W), il ne s’activera pas.

UTILISATION DE LA LED
1. Allumer l’appareil en appuyant sur le bouton (1).
2. Réaliser un appui long (> 2 s) sur le bouton (13). La LED s’allume en mode standard. L’icône apparaît sur l’écran.
3. Appuyer sur le bouton (13). La LED éclaire en mode ‘SOS’.
4. Appuyer de nouveau sur le bouton (13). La LED éclaire en mode ‘Flash’
5. Un nouvel appui long (>2 s) permet d’éteindre la LED.
RECHARGER LE POWER PACK 520
Lorsque le produit est normalement en charge, les icônes et clignotent sur l’écran LCD.
Plusieurs façons existent pour recharger le POWER PACK 520 :
1 / Utiliser le chargeur secteur fourni
1. Brancher le port (3.5 mm) du chargeur dans l’entrée DC 24 V (3) du POWER PACK 520.
2. Brancher l’autre extrémité du chargeur à une prise secteur 230 V.
3. Laisser le POWER PACK 520 se recharger puis débrancher en réalisant la manipulation inverse.
2 / Utiliser les deux entrées DC 24 V / 2.5 A (3) et USB Type-C (10)
Le POWER PACK 520 doit uniquement être chargé par son chargeur.
1. Brancher le câble du chargeur dans l’entrée correspondante du POWER PACK 520 : (3) ou (10).
2. Connecter l’autre extrémité du câble à la source d’alimentation qui va réaliser la charge.
3. Laisser le POWER PACK 520 se recharger puis débrancher en réalisant la manipulation inverse.
Pour une charge plus rapide, les deux entrées peuvent fonctionner simultanément avec deux sources d’alimentation
diérentes.
3 / Utiliser des panneaux solaires
L’entrée DC 24 V / 2.5 A (3) peut accueillir l’énergie d’un panneau solaire.
1. Placer le panneau solaire en plein soleil sans exposer le POWER PACK 520 à la lumière directe du soleil ou à l’humidité.
2. Connecter la sortie 3.5 mm du panneau solaire au port d’entrée DC 24 V.
3. Laisser le POWER PACK 520 se recharger puis débrancher.
4 / Utiliser un chargeur de voiture
1. Brancher le câble du chargeur de voiture sur l’entrée DC 24 V / 2.5 A (3).
2. Brancher l’autre extrémité du câble du chargeur dans la prise allume-cigare 12 V de la voiture.
En cas de panne, l’icône correspondant à l’entrée ou la sortie utilisée et le clignotent
sur l’écran LCD.
GARANTIE
La garantie couvre tous défauts ou vices de fabrication pendant 2 ans, à compter de la date d’achat (pièces et main
d’oeuvre).
La garantie ne couvre pas :
• Toutes autres avaries dues au transport.
• L’usure normale des pièces (Ex. : câbles, pinces, etc.).
• Les incidents dus à un mauvais usage (erreur d’alimentation, chute, démontage).
• Les pannes liées à l’environnement (pollution, rouille, poussière).
En cas de panne, retourner l’appareil à votre distributeur, en y joignant :
- un justicatif d’achat daté (ticket de sortie de caisse, facture….)
- une note explicative de la panne.

Never charge a frozen or damaged battery.
Do not cover the device.
Do not place the device near a re or subject it to heat or to
longterm temperatures exceeding 50°C
Do not obstruct the cooling vents. Refer to the installation
section before operating the machine.
The automatic mode of operation and usage restrictions are
explained below in these operating instructions.

LCD ILLUMINATED DISPLAY
The LED display shows the internal battery capacity as well as the inputs and outputs used on the POWER PACK
520. Press button (1), the LCD display will light up. In case all outputs are inactive: after 10 seconds of inactivity, the
backlight will turn o. After 30 seconds of inactivity, the display will turn o. The POWER PACK 520 will automatically
switch to standby.

The POWER PACK 520 is active. It is discharged because there is a consu-
mer on one of its outlets and cannot go into standby mode.

OPERATION OF THE DIFFERENT SUPPLY MODES
Switch on the POWER PACK 520 by pressing the On / O button (1). The display will light up.
1 / Use of 230 Vac outputs
1. Press button (4) to activate the AC outputs (5), the icon lights up on the LCD screen.
2. Connect the desired device to one of the AC sockets (5).
3. Press the button (4) again to deactivate the outputs (5).
The total consumption of all devices connected to the POWER PACK 520 must be less than its maximum
capacity of 500 W.
2 / Use of 12 VdC outputs
1. Press button (6) to activate the DC outputs, the icon will appear on the LCD screen.
2. Connect the desired device to one of the 12V output ports (8) or to the cigarette lighter socket (7).
3. Press button (6) again to deactivate the DC outputs.
3 / Utilisation des sorties USB
1. Press button (9) to activate the USB outputs. Icons and will appear on the LCD display.
2. Connect the desired device to the corresponding USB port :

3. Press button (9) again to deactivate the USB outputs.
To switch o the POWER PACK 520 :
- press and hold down the On / O button (1) (> 2 s)
- disable all outputs and wait 30 seconds, the POWER PACK 520 will automatically switch to standby.
Interface specications and voltage standards are not the same in dierent countries. Before
use, carefully check whether the product specications are in accordance with the specica-
tions for use of electrical equipment, otherwise it may lead to dangerous situations.
The POWER PACK has overload protection. If an AC device requires more power than the
nominal power of the POWER PACK 520 (500 W), it will not activate.
USE OF LEDS
1. Switch on the device by pressing the button (1).
2. Press button (14) for a long press (> 2 s). The LED lights up in standard mode. The icon appears on the display.
3. Press button (14). The LED lights up in 'SOS' mode.
4. Press button (14) again. The LED lights up in 'Flash' mode.
5. A further long press (>2 s) switches the LED o.
CHARGING THE POWER PACK 520
When the product is charging normally, the and icons blink on the LCD display.
There are several ways to recharge the POWER PACK 520:
1 / Use the mains charger supplied
1. Plug the charger port (3.5 mm) into the DC 24 V input (3) of the POWER PACK 520.
2. Connect the other end of the charger to a 230 V mains socket.
3. Allow the POWER PACK 520 to recharge and then disconnect it from the power supply by performing the reverse
procedure.

2 / Use both DC 24 V / 2.5 A (3) and USB Type-C (10) inputs.
The POWER PACK 520 must only be charged by its charger.
1. Plug the charger cable into the corresponding input of the POWER PACK 520 : (3) or (10).
2. Connect the other end of the cable to the power source that will perform the charge.
3. Allow the POWER PACK 520 to charge and then disconnect it by performing the reverse operation.
For faster charging, both inputs can operate simultaneously with two dierent power sources.
3 / Using solar panels
The DC 24 V / 2.5 A input (3) can accommodate the energy from a solar panel.
1. Place the solar panel in direct sunlight without exposing the POWER PACK 520 to direct sunlight or moisture.
2. Connect the 3.5 mm output of the solar panel to the DC 24 V input port.
3. Allow the POWER PACK 520 to recharge and then disconnect it from the power supply.
4 / Using a car charger
1. Connect the car charger cable to the DC 24 V / 2.5 A input (3).
2. Plug the other end of the car charger cable into the car's 12 V cigarette lighter socket.
In case of failure, the icon corresponding to the input or output being used will ash on
the LCD display.
WARRANTY
The warranty covers faulty workmanship for 2 years from the date of purchase (parts and labour).
The warranty does not cover:
• Transit damage.
• Normal wear of parts (eg. : cables, clamps, etc..).
• Damages due to misuse (power supply error, dropping of equipment, disassembling).
• Environment related failures (pollution, rust, dust).
In case of failure, return the unit to your distributor together with:
- The proof of purchase (receipt etc ...)
- A description of the fault reported

Das POWER PACK 520 ist eine tragbare Energiequelle, die sowohl als Notfallbeleuchtung im Haus und bei Ausse-

Das POWER PACK 520 ist aktiv. Die Batterie wird entladen, ein Verbrau-
cher ist angeschlossen, der Stand-by-Modus kann nicht aktiviert werden.
FUNKTION DER VERSCHIEDENEN BETRIEBSMODI
Schalten Sie das POWER PACK 520 ein durch Drücken des An-/Aus-Schalters (1). Das Display leuchtet auf.
1 / Verwendung der Ausgänge 230 V AC
1. Drücken Sie die Taste (4), um die AC-Ausgänge (5) zu aktivieren. Das Symbol leuchtet auf der LCD-Anzeige auf.
2. Verbinden Sie das gewünschte Gerät mit einem der AC-Ausgänge (5).
3. Drücken Sie erneut die Taste (4), um die Ausgänge (5) zu deaktivieren.
Die totale Leistungsaufnahme aller am POWER PACK 520 angeschlossenen Geräte muss unter der maxima-
len Leistung von 500 W liegen.
2 / Verwendung der Ausgänge 12 V DC
1. Drücken Sie die Taste (6), um die DC-Ausgänge zu aktivieren. Das Symbol erscheint auf der LCD-Anzeige.
2. Verbinden Sie das gewünschte Gerät mit einem der 12 V-Ausgänge (8) oder an dem Zigarettenanzünderanschluss
(7).
3. Drücken Sie erneut die Taste (6), um die DC-Ausgänge zu deaktivieren.
3 / Verwendung der USB-Ausgänge
1. Drücken Sie die Taste (9), um die USB-Ausgänge zu aktivieren. Die Symbole und erscheinen auf der LCD-
Anzeige.
2. Verbinden Sie das gewünschte Gerät am passenden USB-Anschluss :

3. Drücken Sie erneut die Taste (9), um die USB-Ausgänge zu deaktivieren.
Um das POWER PACK 520 auszuschalten :
- drücken Sie lange den An-/Aus-Schalter (1) (> 2 s)
- deaktivieren Sie alle Ausgänge und warten Sie 30 Sekunden. Das POWER PACK 520 versetzt sich automatisch in den
Stand-by-Modus.
Die Anschlussmöglichkeiten für das Bedienfeld und die Normen für die Spannung sind je nach
Land unterschiedlich. Prüfen Sie vor der Verwendung des Geräts aufmerksam, dass die am
Gerät vorhandene Anschlussmöglichkeit mit dem Stecker des anzuschliessenden Elektrogeräts
und den geltenden Richtlinien für elektrische Geräte konform sind. Andernfalls können sich
gefährliche Situationen ergeben.

Das POWER PACK verfügt über einen Schutz vor Überladung. Wenn ein mit Wechselstrom
betriebenes Gerät eine über der Nennleistung des POWER PACK 520 (500 W) liegende Leis-
tung erfordert, so verwehrt das POWER PACK 520 den Betrieb.
VERWENDUNG DER LED
4. Schalten Sie das Gerät ein durch Drücken der Taste (1).
5. Drücken Sie lange (> 2 s) die Taste (13). Die LED leuchtet auf im Standard-Modus. Das Symbol erscheint auf dem
Bildschirm.
6. Drücken Sie die Taste (13). Die LED leuchtet im ‘SOS-Modus’.
7. Drücken Sie erneut die Taste (13). Die LED leuchtet im ‘Flash-Modus’
8. Ein erneutes langes Drücken (>2 s) schaltet die LED ab.
AUFLADUNG DES POWER PACK 520
Während eines Ladevorgangs blinken die Symbole und auf der LCD-Anzeige.
Die Auadung des POWER PACK 520 ist auf mehrere Weisen möglich:
1 / Verwendung des mitgelieferten Ladegeräts für den Netzstrom
1. Verbinden Sie den Anschluss (3.5 mm) des Ladegeräts mit dem 24 V DC-Eingang des POWER PACK 520 (3).
2. Stecken Sie das Ladegerät in eine 230 V-Netzsteckdose.
3. Führen Sie die Auadung des POWER PACK 520 aus, und trennen Sie danach die Geräte in umgekehrter Reihenfolge.
2 / Verwendung der zwei Eingänge DC 24 V / 2.5 A (3) und USB Typ C (10)
Der POWER PACK 520 darf nur mit seinem Ladegerät geladen werden.
1. Stecken Sie das Kabel des Ladegeräts in den entsprechenden Eingang des POWER PACK 520 : (3) oder (10).
2. Verbinden Sie das andere Ende des Kabels in die Spannungsquelle, welche die Auadung ausführt.
3. Führen Sie die Auadung des POWER PACK 520 aus, und trennen Sie danach die Geräte in umgekehrter Reihenfolge.
Für eine schnellere Auadung können beide Eingänge mit verschiedenen Spannungsquellen verbunden werden.
3 / Verwendung von Solarpanelen
Der Eingang DC 24 V / 2.5 A (3) kann Energie aus Solarpanelen aufnehmen.
1. Setzen Sie das Solarpanel direkter Sonneneinstrahlung aus, ohne das POWER PACK 520 dieser oder Feuchtigkeit
auszusetzen.
2. Verbinden Sie den 3.5 mm-Ausgang des Solarpanels mit dem Eingang DC 24 V (3).
3. Führen Sie die Auadung des POWER PACK 520 aus, und trennen Sie das Solarpanel danach.
4 / Verwendung eines Kfz-Ladegeräts
1. Stecken Sie das Kabel des Kfz-Ladegeräts in den Eingang DC 24 V / 2.5 A (3).
2. Verbinden Sie das andere Ende des Kabels des Kfz-Ladegeräts in den Zigarettenanzünderanschluss 12 V des Fahrzeugs.
Im Falle einer Fehlfunktion blinken das dem verwendeten Ein- bzw. Ausgang ents-
prechende Symbol und auf der LCD-Anzeige.
GARANTIE
Die Garantieleistung des Herstellers erfolgt ausschließlich bei Fabrikations- oder Materialfehlern, die binnen 24 Monate
nach Kauf angezeigt werden (Nachweis Kaufbeleg).
Die Garantieleistung erfolgt nicht bei:
• Durch Transport verursachten Beschädigungen.
• Normalem Verschleiß der Teile (z.B. : Kabel, Klemmen, usw.) sowie Gebrauchsspuren.
• Von unsachgemäßem Gebrauch verursachten Defekten (Sturz, harte Stöße, Demontage).
• Durch Umwelteinüsse entstandene Defekte (Verschmutzung, Rost, Staub).
Die Reparatur erfolgt erst nach Erhalt einer schriftlichen Akzeptanz (Unterschrift) des zuvor vorgelegten Kostenvo-
ranschlages durch den Besteller. Im Fall einer Garantieleistung trägt GYS ausschließlich die Kosten für den Rückversand
an den Fachhändler.
