Mounting the switch to a rack
Introduction to installation accessories
Before installation, wear an ESD-preventive wrist strap, and make sure that the wrist strap
has a good skin contact and is well grounded.
When the depth of a switch is greater than 300 mm (11.81 in), the front mounting
brackets only secure the switch rather than bear its weight.

Method 2 +12 VDC (RPS)

You can use only the RPS power supply recommended by H3C (optional RPS power
supply and power cable) for RPS DC input.
Install an OT terminal on the other end of the grounding
cable, and connect the OT terminal to the grounding strip.
Connect the OT terminal of the
grounding cable to the switch

Connecting the power cable
Before connecting the power cable, connect the grounding cable and make sure that
the switch is correctly grounded.
Connect the power cable to the switch first and then to the power supply system to
avoid bodily injury.
Connect the AC power cable
Install the bail latch
