Mounting the switch in a rack 安装交换机到机柜
Before installation, wear an ESD wrist strap, and make sure the wrist strap makes good skin contact
and is reliably grounded.

The installation positions of the accessories in the following figures are for illustration only. Select
installation positions for the accessories based on the installation requirements.
以下图中附件的安装位置仅供参考，请根据实际安装场景的需要选择合适的安装位置。
Multiple installation positions are available for the chassis rails on the chassis sides. You can
select an installation position for the chassis rails based on the chassis depth. To maintain switch
stability after installation, verify that the chassis rails reach out of the slide rails.
设备侧面板提供了多个滑道导轨安装位，用户可根据机柜的深度，调整滑道导轨的安装位置；为保
证设备安装后的稳定性，当滑道与滑道导轨安装完成后，请确保滑道的头部露出滑道导轨。
Install the mounting brackets near the power module side 挂耳安装到靠近电源侧
Select a rack with a distance of 520 mm (20.47 in) to 769 mm (30.28 in) between the front and rear

Connect the grounding cable to the grounding point on the chassis side before installing the switch
in the rack.
为了防止机箱安装到机柜后无法安装接地线，请您先将接地线安装到交换机的侧面接地点上。
The switch provides a grounding sign and grounding screws at the primary grounding point, but
does not provide them at the auxiliary grounding point.
主接地点标有接地标识，并带有接地螺钉，备用接地点无接地标识和接地螺钉。
The two grounding screws at the primary grounding point are also applicable to the auxiliary
grounding point. 主接地点上的两个接地螺钉同样适用于备用接地点。
Before installing cage nuts, mark their installation positions on the rack posts.
安装浮动螺母前，建议您先使用记号笔在机柜立柱上标注浮动螺母的安装位置。
The switch provides front-to-back and back-to-front air aisles. Select fan trays to provide airflow from
the power module side to the port side, or from the port side to the power module side based on the
ventilation requirements at the installation site.
交换机采用前后风道设计，通过安装不同的风扇模块，可提供“电源侧到端口侧”和“端口侧到电源
侧”两种气流方向，满足不同环境下的散热要求。

The LSWM1HFANSC fan tray provides forward airflow from the power module side to the port
side. The LSWM1HFANSCB fan tray provides reverse airflow from the port side to the power
module side. LSWM1HFANSC为吹风风扇，电源侧进风，端口侧出风；LSWM1HFANSCB为抽风
风扇，端口侧进风，电源侧出风。
Before installing a fan tray, make sure the airflow direction marked on the fan tray meets the
ventilation requirements at the installation site. 安装风扇模块前，请根据风扇模块的风向指示，确
认气流方向和安装环境的通风要求一致。
The switch comes with the fan tray slots empty. You must install two fan trays of the same model
for the switch for adequate heat dissipation. Do not power on the switch when no fan tray is
installed.交换机出厂时两个风扇插槽均为空，为保证设备的正常散热，用户必须安装两个相同型号
的风扇模块，否则禁止交换机上电运行。
If both fan trays fail when the device is operating, finish replacing the fan trays within 2 minutes.设
备运行过程中，如果两个风扇模块均出现故障，则必须在2分钟内完成故障风扇模块的更换。
If one fan tray fails when the switch is operating and the ambient temperature is not higher than
27°C (80.6°F), replace the fan tray within 24 hours, and make sure the faulty fan tray is in position
before replacing it. If the ambient temperature is higher than 27°C (80.6°F), replace the fan tray
immediately.设备运行过程中，如果一个风扇模块出现故障，则当环境温度不高于27℃时，必须在
24小时内完成故障风扇模块的更换，且更换前需保持故障风扇模块在位；当环境温度高于27℃时，
请立即进行更换。
Make sure each hot swappable module slot is installed with a module or filler panel when the
switch is operating. 设备运行过程中，必须确保所有可插拔模块插槽不能为空，请务必安装相应的
模块或假面板。

Before connecting the power cord, connect the grounding cable and make sure the switch is
reliably grounded.在连接电源线前，您需要先连接接地线，保证交换机正确接地。
Connect the power cord to the switch first and then to the power source to avoid bodily injury.
连接电源线时，请先完成电源线与交换机侧的连接，再进行电源线与供电系统的连接，以免造成人
身伤害。

Install a filler panel in an empty power module slot to prevent dust from entering the chassis and
ensure good ventilation.
若电源模块插槽没有安装电源模块，请及时安装假面板，以保证设备的良好通风散热并防止灰尘进入
交换机。
