• Ifthe receptacle doesnotmatch the plug, thereceptacle
mustbe changed outbya qualified electrician.
• TheseR410A air conditioningsystemsrequire contractors
andtechnicians to usetools,equipment and safety
standardsapproved for usewiththis refrigerant. DO NOT
useequipment certified forR22refrigerant only.
• Toavoid risk ofinjuryor property damage, theair
conditionershould ONLY be servicedbya qualified
servicer.

HOW TO CONNECT ELECTRICITY
Donot, under anycircumstances,cut or remove thethird
(ground)prong from thepowercord. For personal safety,this
appliancemust be properlygrounded.

Thepower cord ofthisappliance is equipped witha3-prong
(grounding)plug which mateswitha standard 3-prong
(grounding)wall outlet tominimizethe possibility of electric
shockhazard from thisappliance.
Powercord includes acurrentinterrupter device. A test
andreset button isprovidedon the plug case.Thedevice
shouldbe tested onaperiodic basis by firstpressingthe

Theair conditioner shouldalwaysbe plugged into itsown
individualelectrical outlet whichhasa voltage rating that
matchesthe rating plate.
Thisprovides the bestperformanceand also prevents
overloadinghouse wiring circuitswhichcould cause a fire
hazardfrom overheated wires.
