Explanation of Warning Symbols and Notes
Warning
This symbol is used to indicate safety instructions or to draw your attention to
specic hazards and risks.
The luggage scale was designed so that you can take it with you anywhere you
travel. You’ll know how much your luggage weighs before you get to the airport,
which allows you to avoid excess baggage charges.

Operating Instructions:
• Press the button to switch the scale on. 8.8.8 appears on the display.
• Press again before 0.0 appears on the display in order to switch between
the units kg and lb.
• Guide the strap through the handle of the suitcase to be weighed and attach the
strap’s hook to the triangular ring.
• Lift the scale so the suitcase is off the ground long enough that the weight is
displayed.
When the weight measurement is stable, the number is saved and the scale
beeps. The total weight is then displayed on the LCD panel. The scale switches off
automatically after 30 seconds. It can also be switched off manually.
Press to reset the scale and then press again.
Notes:
After you have weighed the luggage, press to reset the scale.
Tips:
For optimal results, hold the scale so it is horizontal and avoid touching the metal
bar with your ngers.
Warning – Batteries
• When inserting batteries, note the correct polarity (+ and - markings) and
insert the batteries accordingly. Failure to do so could result in the batteries
leaking or exploding.
• Only use batteries (or rechargeable batteries) that match the specied type.
• Before you insert the batteries, clean the battery contacts and the polar
contacts.
• Do not allow children to change batteries without supervision.
• Do not mix old and new batteries or batteries of a different type or make.
• Remove the batteries from products that are not being used for an extended
period (unless these are being kept ready for an emergency).
• Do not short-circuit batteries.
• Do not charge batteries.
• Do not throw batteries in a re.
• Keep batteries out of the reach of children.
• Never open, damage or swallow batteries or allow them to enter the
environment. They can contain toxic, environmentally harmful heavy metals.
• Immediately remove and dispose of dead batteries from the product.
• Avoid storing, charging or using the device in extreme temperatures and
extremely low atmospheric pressure (for example, at high altitudes).

Warning – Button cells
• Do not ingest battery, risk of burns due to dangerous substances.
• This product contains button cells. If swallowed, the button cell can cause
severe internal burns within just two hours and lead to death.
• Keep new and used batteries out of the reach of children.
• If the battery compartment does not close securely, stop using the product
and keep it out of the reach of children.
• If you think that batteries were swallowed or are in a part of the body, seek
medical assistance immediately.
Replacing the battery:
Replace the battery when the “lo” symbol, which indicates a low battery level, is
displayed:
1. Remove the battery compartment cover
2. Insert a CR2032 battery and double check that the polarity is correct.
3. Replace the cover of the battery compartment.
Warnings
1. Do not try to repair the scale or take it apart.
2. Use a slightly damp cloth to clean the scale. Do NOT immerse the scale in
water and do not use any chemical cleaning products or scouring agents.
3. Do NOT place heavy loads on the triangular ring for longer periods of time.
While travelling, keep the scale away from sharp objects such as toys, writing
utensils, etc., to prevent the scale from accidentally being switched on and
using up the batteries.
4. To ensure accurate measurements, do NOT use the scale in areas with strong
magnetic elds.
5. This product is intended for private, non-commercial use only.
6. Use the product for its intended purpose only.
7. Protect the product from dirt, moisture and overheating, and only use it in a
dry environment.
8. Do not use the product in the immediate vicinity of heaters or other heat
sources or in direct sunlight.
9. Do not drop the product and do not expose it to any major shocks.
10. Do not modify the product in any way. Doing so voids the warranty.
11. Keep the packaging material out of the reach of children due to the risk of
suffocation.
12. Do not open the device or continue to operate it if it becomes damaged.
13. Do not attempt to service or repair the product yourself. Leave any and all
service work to qualied experts.
14. Keep this product, as all electrical products, out of the reach of children!
15. Use the item only in moderate climatic conditions.

Nehmen Sie sich Zeit und lesen Sie die folgenden Anweisungen und Hinweise zunächst
ganz durch. Bewahren Sie diese Bedienungsanleitung anschließend an einem sicheren
Ort auf, um bei Bedarf darin nachschlagen zu können. Sollten Sie das Gerät veräußern,
geben Sie diese Bedienungsanleitung an den neuen Eigentümer weiter.

Gebrauchsanleitung:
• Drücken Sie die Taste , um die Waage einzuschalten. 8.8.8 wird angezeigt.
• Drücken Sie erneut, um zwischen kg und lb als Gewichtseinheit zu
wechseln, bevor 0.0 auf dem Display angezeigt wird.
• Führen Sie das Gurtband durch den Griff des zu wiegenden Gepäckstücks, und
befestigen Sie den Haken des Bandes am Dreieckring.
• Heben Sie das Objekt an, bis das Gewicht angezeigt wird.
Das Gewicht wird bei Erreichen eines stabilen Zustands mit einem Piepton gespei-
chert, und das Gesamtgewicht wird auf dem LCD-Display angezeigt. Die Waage
schaltet sich nach 30 Sekunden automatisch ab oder kann manuell ausgeschaltet
werden.
Drücken Sie dazu , um die Waage zurückzusetzen, und drücken Sie erneut .
Anmerkungen:
Nachdem das Gewicht gemessen wurde, drücken Sie , um die Waage zurückzu-
setzen und erneut zu wiegen.
Tipps:
Halten Sie für bestmögliche Ergebnisse die Waage horizontal, und vermeiden Sie es,
die Metallstange mit Ihren Fingern zu berühren.
Warnung – Batterien
• Beachten Sie unbedingt die korrekte Polarität (Beschriftung + und -) der
Batterien und legen Sie diese entsprechend ein. Bei Nichtbeachtung besteht
die Gefahr des Auslaufens oder einer Explosion der Batterien.
• Verwenden Sie ausschließlich Akkus (oder Batterien), die dem angegebenen
Typ entsprechen.
• Reinigen Sie vor dem Einlegen der Batterien die Batteriekontakte und die
Gegenkontakte.
• Gestatten Sie Kindern nicht ohne Aufsicht das Wechseln von Batterien.
• Mischen Sie alte und neue Batterien nicht, sowie Batterien unterschiedlichen
Typs oder Herstellers.
• Entfernen Sie Batterien aus Produkten, die längere Zeit nicht benutzt werden
(außer diese werden für einen Notfall bereit gehalten).
• Schließen Sie die Batterien nicht kurz.
• Laden Sie Batterien nicht.
• Werfen Sie Batterien nicht ins Feuer.
• Bewahren Sie Batterien außerhalb der Reichweite von Kindern auf.
• Batterien nie öffnen, beschädigen, verschlucken oder in die Umwelt gelangen
lassen. Sie können giftige und umweltschädliche Schwermetalle enthalten.
• Entfernen und entsorgen Sie verbrauchte Batterien unverzüglich aus dem
Produkt.
• Vermeiden Sie Lagerung, Laden und Benutzung bei extremen Temperaturen
und extrem niedrigem Luftdruck (wie z.B. in großen Höhen).

Warnung – Knopfzellen
• Batterie nicht einnehmen, Verbrennungsgefahr durch gefährliche Stoffe.
• Dieses Produkt enthält Knopfzellen. Wenn die Knopfzelle verschluckt wird,
können schwere innere Verbrennungen innerhalb von gerade einmal 2
Stunden auftreten und zum Tode führen.
• Halten Sie neue und gebrauchte Batterien von Kindern fern.
• Wenn das Batteriefach nicht sicher schließt, das Produkt nicht mehr benutzen
und von Kindern fernhalten.
• Wenn Sie meinen, dass Batterien verschluckt wurden oder sich in irgendeinem
Körperteil benden, suchen Sie unverzüglich medizinische Hilfe auf.
Batterie ersetzen:
Ersetzen Sie die Batterie, wenn das Symbol für den niedrigen Batteriestand „lo“ auf
dem Display angezeigt wird:
1. Entfernen Sie die Abdeckung des Batteriefachs.
2. Setzen Sie eine Batterie vom Typ CR2032 ein, und achten Sie dabei auf die im
Batteriefach angezeigte Polarität.
3. Setzen Sie die Abdeckung des Batteriefachs wieder ein.
Warnhinweise
1. Reparieren oder zerlegen Sie die Waage nicht.
2. Reinigen Sie die Waage mit einem leicht angefeuchteten Lappen. Tauchen
Sie die Waage NICHT in Wasser, und verwenden Sie keine chemischen
Reinigungsmittel oder Scheuermittel.
3. Setzen Sie den Dreieckring NICHT über einen längeren Zeitraum hohen
Belastungen aus. Halten Sie die Waage auf Reisen von Objekten mit spitzen
Enden (z. B. Spielzeug, Schreibwaren usw.) fern, damit die Waage nicht
versehentlich eingeschaltet wird und Strom verbraucht.
4. Um genaue Messwerte zu gewährleisten, verwenden Sie die Waage NICHT in
stark magnetischen Feldern.
5. Das Produkt ist für den privaten, nicht-gewerblichen Gebrauch vorgesehen.
6. Verwenden Sie das Produkt ausschließlich für den dazu vorgesehenen Zweck.
7. Schützen Sie das Produkt vor Schmutz, Feuchtigkeit und Überhitzung und
verwenden Sie es nur in trockenen Umgebungen.

Avertissement
Ce symbole est utilisé pour indiquer des consignes de sécurité ou pour attirer
votre attention sur des dangers et risques particuliers.
Cette balance de bagage a été conçue de telle sorte que vous puissiez l‘emporter
partout avec vous lors de vos voyages. Elle vous permettra de connaître exactement le
poids de vos bagages avant votre départ et d‘éviter ainsi tout frais d‘excès de bagage.

Mode d‘emploi :
• Appuyez sur la touche an de mettre la balance sous tension. « 8.8.8 »
apparaît à l‘écran.
• Appuyez à nouveau sur la touche an de commuter entre les formats
d‘achage kg et lb avant que 0.0 n‘apparaisse à l‘écran.
• Introduisez la sangle à travers la poignée de votre bagage et xez le crochet de
la sangle à l‘anneau triangulaire.
• Soulevez le bagage jusqu‘à apparition du poids à l‘écran.
• Une fois stabilisé, le poids est mémorisé, un bip retentit et l‘indication du poids
apparaît à l‘écran LCD. La balance se met automatiquement hors tension au bout
de 30 secondes ; vous pouvez également la mettre hors tension manuellement :
appuyez dans ce cas sur la touche an de réinitialiser la balance, puis
appuyez à nouveau sur la touche .
Remarques :
Après avoir effectué la mesure, appuyez sur la touche an de réinitialiser la
balance et peser un nouvel objet.
Conseil :
Vous obtiendrez la plus grande précision en maintenant la balance à l‘horizontale et
en évitant de toucher la barre métallique avec vos doigts.
Avertissement – concernant les piles
• Respectez impérativement la polarité de la pile (marquage + et -) lors de
l‘insertion dans le boîtier ; risques d‘écoulement et d‘explosion des piles si
tel n‘est pas le cas.
• Utilisez exclusivement des batteries (ou des piles) du type indiqué.
• Avant d‘insérer les piles, nettoyez-en les contacts, ainsi que les contacts
d‘accouplement.
• N‘autorisez pas à des enfants de remplacer les piles d‘un appareil sans
surveillance.
• N’utilisez pas simultanément des piles usagées et des piles neuves ou des
piles de différents types.
• Retirez les piles des produits que vous ne comptez pas utiliser pendant un
certain temps (à l‘exception des produits d‘alarme en veille).
• Ne court-circuitez pas les piles.
• Ne tentez pas de recharger les piles.
• Ne jetez pas de piles au feu.
• Conservez les piles hors de portée des enfants.
• Ne tentez pas d‘ouvrir les piles, faites attention à ne pas les endommager, les
jeter dans l’environnement et à ce que des petits enfants ne les avalent pas.
Les piles sont susceptibles de contenir des métaux lourds toxiques et nocifs
pour l‘environnement.
• Retirez les piles usagées immédiatement du produit pour les recycler.

Remplacement de la pile :
Remplacez la pile dès que le symbole de pile faible « lo » apparaît à l‘écran :
1. Retirez le couvercle du compartiment à pile.
2. Insérez une nouvelle pile de type CR2032 en respectant les indications de
polarité à l‘intérieur du compartiment.
3. Replacez le couvercle.

2. Utilisez un chiffon légèrement humide pour nettoyer la balance. N‘immergez en

EInstrucciones de uso

Tómese tiempo y léase primero las siguientes instrucciones e indicaciones. Después,
guarde estas instrucciones de manejo en un lugar seguro para poder consultarlas
cuando sea necesario. Si vende el aparato, entregue estas instrucciones de manejo
al nuevo propietario.
Explicación de los símbolos de aviso y de las indicaciones
Aviso
Se utiliza para caracterizar las indicaciones de seguridad o para llamar la
atención sobre peligros y riesgos especiales.
Esta balanza de equipaje ha sido desarrollada para que pueda llevarla consigo en
sus viajes por todo el mundo. Conozca de antemano el peso de su equipaje y evite
pagar tasas por sobrepeso.

Instrucciones de uso:
• Pulse la tecla para encender la báscula. Se visualiza 8.8.8.
• Pulse de nuevo , antes de que se visualice 0.0 en la pantalla, para alternar
entre las unidades de peso disponibles, kg o lb.
• Pase la correa a través del asa de la pieza de equipaje que desee pesar y
enganche el gancho de la correa a la anilla triangular.
• Levante y sostenga la pieza hasta que se visualice el peso.
Al alcanzarse un valor estable, el peso se almacena, indicándose mediante un
pitido, y se visualiza el peso total en la pantalla LCD. La balanza se apaga de forma
automática a los 30 segundos, siendo posible asimismo apagarla de forma manual.
Para ello, pulse la tecla para resetear la balanza y, a continuación, pulse de nuevo.
Notas:
Una vez medido el peso, pulse para resetear la balanza y realizar una nueva
medición.
Consejos:
Para unos resultados óptimos, sostenga la balanza de forma horizontal y evite tocar
la barra de metal con los dedos.
Aviso – Pilas
• Observe siempre la correcta polaridad (inscripciones + y -) de las pilas y
coloque éstas de forma correspondiente. La no observación de lo anterior
conlleva el riesgo de derrame o explosión de las pilas.
• Utilice exclusivamente pilas recargables (o pilas) que sean del mismo tipo.
• Antes de colocar las pilas, limpie los contactos y los contra-contactos de éstas.
• No permita a los niños cambiar las pilas sin la supervisión de una persona adulta.
• No mezcle pilas viejas y nuevas, ni tampoco pilas de tipos o fabricantes
diferentes.
• Saque las pilas de los productos que no se vayan a utilizar durante un
periodo prolongado de tiempo. (A no ser de que estén pensados para un
caso de emergencia).
• No cortocircuite las pilas.
• No cargue las pilas.
• No arroje las pilas al fuego.
• Mantenga las pilas fuera del alcance de los niños.
• Nunca abra, deteriore o ingiera pilas o pilas recargables ni las deseche en el
medioambiente. Pueden contener metales pesados tóxicos y dañinos para
el medioambiente.
• Retire y deseche de inmediato las pilas gastadas del producto.

Aviso – Pilas
• Evite almacenar, cargar y utilizar el despertador a temperaturas extremas y
con presiones de aire exageradamente bajas (p. ej. bajas temperaturas).
Aviso – Pilas redondas
• No retirar la pila, peligro de sufrir quemaduras por sustancias peligrosas.
• Este producto contiene pilas de botón. La ingestión de una pila de botón
puede conllevar quemaduras internas graves en tan solo 2 horas y provocar
la muerte.
• Mantenga las pilas nuevas y usadas alejadas de los niños,
• Si el compartimento para pilas no se cierra de forma segura, no siga
utilizando el producto y manténgalo alejado de los niños.
• En caso de posible ingestión de las pilas o de que estas puedan haberse
introducido en alguna parte del cuerpo, solicite inmediatamente ayuda médica.
Sustitución de la pila:
Sustituya la pila cuando se visualice en la pantalla el símbolo de carga baja de la
pila „lo“:
1. Retire la cubierta del compartimento de la pila.
2. Teniendo en cuenta la polaridad indicada en el compartimento de la pila,
coloque una pila tipo CR2032.
3. Vuelva a colocar la cubierta del compartimento de la pila.
Avisos
1. No repare ni desensamble la balanza.
2. Limpie la báscula con un paño levemente humedecido. NO sumerja la báscula
en agua y no utilice detergentes químicos o abrasivos.
3. NO someta la anilla triangular a grandes cargas durante un periodo largo de
tiempo. Al transportarla, mantenga la balanza alejada de objetos con extremos
alados (p. ej. juguetes, material de escritura, etc.), para evitar que esta se
encienda accidentalmente y consuma corriente.
4. Para garantizar unos valores de medición exactos, NO utilice la balanza en
presencia de campos magnéticos fuertes.
5. El producto está destinado al uso privado, no comercial.
6. Emplee el producto exclusivamente para la función para la que fue diseñado.
7. Proteja el producto de la suciedad, la humedad y el calor excesivo y utilícelo
solo en ambientes secos.
8. No opere el producto en las inmediaciones de la calefacción, de otras fuentes
de calor o bajo la radiación directa del sol.
9. No deje caer el producto ni lo someta a sacudidas fuertes.
10. No realice cambios en el aparato. Esto conllevaría la pérdida de todos los
derechos de la garantía.

É utilizado para identicar informações de segurança ou chamar a atenção para
perigos e riscos especiais.
A balança para bagagem foi concebida para que a possa levar consigo para todo o
lado nas suas viagens. Saiba com antecedência quanto pesa a sua bagagem e evite
taxas por excesso de bagagem.

Instruções de Utilização:
• Prima o botão para ligar a balança. É apresentada a indicação 8.8.8.
• Prima novamente para alternar entre kg e lb como unidade de peso antes
que seja apresentada no ecrã a indicação 0.0.
• Introduza a ta na pega da mala a pesar e xe o gancho da ta no triângulo
de bloqueio.
• Levante a mala até que o peso seja apresentado.
O peso é guardado quando é alcançada uma posição estável, sendo emitido um
„bip“, e o peso total é apresentado no visor LCD. A balança desliga-se automatica-
mente após 30 segundos ou pode ser desligada manualmente.
Para tal, prima para repor a balança a zero e prima novamente .
Observações:
Após o peso ter sido medido, prima para repor a balança a zero e pesar
novamente.
Sugestões:
Para obter os melhores resultados possíveis, mantenha a balança na horizontal e
evite tocar com os dedos na barra de metal.
Aviso – Pilhas
• Ao colocar as pilhas, tenha em atenção a polaridade correcta (inscrições +
e -). A não observação da polaridade correcta poderá levar ao derrama das
pilhas ou explosão.
• Utilize exclusivamente baterias (ou pilhas) que correspondam ao tipo indicado.
• Antes de colocar as pilhas, limpe os contactos das pilhas e os contactos do
compartimento.

Substituir a pilha:
Substitua a pilha quando for apresentado o símbolo de carga fraca da pilha „lo“
no visor:
1. Retire a tampa do compartimento da pilha.
2. Insira uma pilha do tipo CR2032, tendo em atenção a polaridade indicada no
compartimento da pilha.
3. Volte a colocar a tampa do compartimento da pilha.

1. Não repare nem desmonte a balança.
2. Limpe a balança com um pano ligeiramente humedecido. NÃO mergulhe a
balança em água, nem utilize quaisquer produtos de limpeza químicos ou
detergentes abrasivos.
3. NÃO submeta o triângulo de bloqueio a cargas elevadas durante um longo
período de tempo. Durantes as viagens, mantenha a balança afastada de

Istruzioni per l’uso:
• Premere il tasto per accendere la bilancia. Viene visualizzato 8.8.8.
• Premere nuovamente il tasto per passare tra kg e lb prima che sul display
venga visualizzato 0.0.
• Fare passare la cinghia attraverso la maniglia del bagaglio da pesare e ssare il
gancio della cinghia all‘anello triangolare.
• Sollevare l‘oggetto nché non viene visualizzato il peso.
Durante la ricezione del segnale orario, la data e l‘ora vengono impostate automatica-
mente e viene visualizzato il simbolo dell‘orologio radiocontrollato sul display LCD. Dopo
30 secondi la bilancia si spegne automaticamente o si può spegnere manualmente.
Premere per azzerare la bilancia e premere nuovamente .
Note:
Dopo aver pesato la valigia, premere per azzerare la bilancia e pesare
nuovamente.
Consigli:
Tenere la bilancia in posizione orizzontale ed evitare di toccare la barra metallica
con le dita.
Attenzione – Batterie
• Attenersi sempre alla corretta polarità (scritte + e -) delle batterie e inserirle
di conseguenza. La mancata osservanza comporta la perdita di potenza o il
rischio di esplosione delle batterie.
• Utilizzare unicamente accumulatori (o batterie) conformi al tipo indicato.
• Prima di inserire le batterie, pulire i contatti e i controcontatti.
• I bambini possono sostituire le batterie solo sotto la sorveglianza degli adulti.
• Non utilizzare batterie di tipi o costruttori diversi, né mischiare batterie
vecchie e nuove.
• Togliere sempre le batterie dai prodotti che non vengono utilizzati per un lungo
periodo (a meno che non vengano tenuti a portata di mano per un‘emergenza).
• Osservare sempre la corretta polarità (dicitura + e -) delle batterie e inserirle
di conseguenza. La mancata osservanza comporta la perdita di potenza o il
rischio di esplosione delle batterie.
• Non caricare le batterie.
• Non gettare le batterie nel fuoco.
• Conservare le batterie al di fuori della portata dei bambini.

Attenzione – Batterie a bottone
• Non ingerire la batteria, Pericolo di ustioni a causa di materiali pericolosi.
• Questo prodotto contiene batterie a bottone. Nel caso che le batterie a
bottone vengano ingerite, si possono vericare gravi ustioni interne nell’arco
di appena 2 ore e ciò può portare alla morte.
• Tenere le batterie nuove e quelle usate lontano dalla portata dei bambini.
• Nel caso che il vano batterie non si chiudesse bene non utilizzare più il
prodotto e tenerlo lontano dalla portata dei bambini.
• Se pensate che delle batterie siano state ingerite o che si trovino in una
qualunque parte del corpo rivolgetevi immediatamente all’assistenza medica.
Sostituzione della batteria:
Premere il tasto ALARM per attivare o disattivare l‘allarme (con la funzione di
allarme attivata, sullo schermo LCD viene visualizzato il simbolo dell‘altoparlante).
1. Rimuovere il coperchio del vano batterie.
2. Inserire una batteria del tipo CR2032, prestando attenzione alla polarità
indicata sul vano batterie.
3. Applicare nuovamente il coperchio del vano batterie.
Avvertenza
1. Non riparare né smontare la bilancia.
2. Pulire la bilancia con un panno morbido e leggermente umido. NON immergere
la bilancia in acqua e non utilizzate detergenti chimici o abrasivi.
3. NON sottoporre l‘anello triangolare a sollecitazioni elevate per un lungo
periodo. In viaggio, tenere la bilancia lontana da oggetti appuntiti (per es.
giocattoli, penne ecc.) per evitare che si accenda inavvertitamente e consumi
corrente.
4. Per garantire valori di misurazioni una lunga durata, non utilizzare la bilancia in
presenza di forti campi magnetici.

Внимание.Батареи

Замена батареи:
Замените батареи при появлении на дисплее значка о низком остаточном
заряде батареи „lo“:
1. Снимите крышку отсека батарей.
2. Вставьте батарею CR2032, соблюдая полярность.
3. Закройте крышку.
