INTRODUCTION
EMM would like to thank you for your confidence in our products. You have made a good choice.
The HR 3000 RVS is made entirely of stainless steel, is robust and of high-quality and, if properly
maintained, guarantees safe and trouble-free operation for many years to come.
To ensure safe and trouble-free operation, it is important that you read this manual carefully and keep it
within reach close to the machine at all times.
It is important to read through the entire manual before using the machine for the first
time.

We are happy to help you install, operate and maintain the HR 3000 safely.
This manual is part of the HR 3000 and contains all the necessary information for correct use, installation
and maintenance of the HR 3000 RVS and must, therefore, be available and legible at all times.
The operator must obey the local regulations concerning the processing of substances which could result in
potentially explosive atmospheres, f.i. ATEX directive 99/92/EC.
1.0 General
1.1 Safety
The HR 3000 RVS is approved solely for the automatic and/or manual cleaning of spray guns.
Cleaning spray guns and their accessories with buildup of conventional paint systems is carried out
exclusively with solvent-based cleaning fluids (cellulose thinners) or cleaning fluids specified for
this purpose.
The HR 3000 is operated with solvent-based cleaning liquids. Incorrect operation, non-observance of the
operating instructions or an unsafe installation location can, therefore, lead to a risk of deflagration or
explosions.
WARNING:
We recommend that the HR 3000 be connected to a mechanically forced ventilation system with a
minimum extraction rate of 700 m³/hour.
The HR 3000 is subject to the following explosion-proof
Marking Equipment: II 2G Exh IIB T4 Gb according to ATEX 2014/34/EU.
Zone 1 is created during the cleaning process and as long as there is liquid in the work
area. Zone 2 is expected to be within 1.5m of the HR 3000 during cleaning.
IMPORTANT NOTICE!
The HR 3000 is supplied with an earthing cable.
Before each use, we recommend that you check that the earthing cable has been connected to an earthing
potential by an electrician. The connections must be secured and self locking to as not to become loose
and it must not corrode.
Danger to life! If the HR 3000 is not properly earthed, there is a risk of static discharge
and thus an uncontrolled deflagration or explosion!

Both a manufacturer’s type plate (top right) and a sticker with warning notices for
safety handling (on the control panel) are attached to the HR 3000.
All missing warning notices or the type plate must be replaced immediately!
The machine may no longer be used without warning notices or a missing type plate!
A manufacturer’s type plate is attached to the HR 3000, as well as a sticker with the following safety signs
in accordance with ASR A1.3:

Other important information:
1. Before each use, check that the hoses (except for the drain hose) have been inserted deep into
the containers.
2. Check on a regular basis that the edges of the containers cannot damage the hoses.
3. Check the level in the containers on a regular basis in order to prevent the solvents from
overflowing.
4. Leaks or spills of solvents must immediately be absorbed or wiped up
5. In the event of a fault, switch off the device and the associated compressed air and exhaust air
lines immediately and inform your supplier
6. Ensure that the environment and the workplace itself are kept clean
7. Always wear dissipative personal protective clothing (Section 1.2)
EMM accepts no liability or warranty for any damage caused by non-observance of the manual.
1.2 Personal protective equipment
The user or the operators of the HR 3000 must wear dissipative personal protective clothing according to
the specifications of the safety data sheet (MSDS) of the cleaning fluid used.

1.3 Place of use
The HR 3000 must be installed on a flat, absolutely level surface.
The space (location) must be well ventilated in accordance with hazard classification EN 60079-1-2016.
It is recommended that the unit be connected to an extraction duct with a separate, approved fan or
mechanical forced ventilation with an extraction volume of 700 m³/sec. so that, for example:
-Zone 1 at a distance of up to 0.5 m around the machine
-Zone 2 from a distance of 1.5 m around the machine are covered in accordance with the local
regulations
1.4 Intended use
The HR 3000 RVS is approved for automatic and/or manual cleaning of spray guns only. Cleaning of spray
guns and their accessories with buildup of conventional paint systems is carried out exclusively with
solvent-based cleaning fluids (cellulose thinners) or specified cleaning fluids from gas groups IIA & IIB.
1.5 Disclaimer
EMM rejects all claims and their consequences arising from negligence or non-observance of these
operating instructions.
1.6 Transport
The HR 3000 is shipped in a shipping box marked “RISK OF BREAKAGE” and “DO NOT TILT” on the pallet.
The HR 3000 can be easily set up by 2 people with a means of transport/forklift truck.
1.7 Copyright
The right to change the contents of this manual may be performed solely by the author in accordance with
Section 39 of the German Copyright Act (UrhG).
1.8 Product overview
-The HR 3000 is an innovative, fully pneumatic washer. The HR 3000 is made entirely of stainless
steel and has hoses for transferring the solvent and powder-coated instrument levers on the front
of the control panel.
-The HR 3000 is equipped with a diaphragm pump.
-The machine uses a Venturi principle for manual cleaning. Clean cleaning fluid is sucked in from a
container (not included in the package delivered) in the lower part of the machine.
-The used, soiled cleaning fluid is then drained via the cleaning tank into a second container (empty
recipient with filling opening in accordance with DIN 61, included in the package delivered).
-Harmful gases and vapours that can form in the upper and lower part of the HR 3000 must be
extracted by a mechanical forced suction with an extraction volume of 700 m³/h.
-The lid of the cleaning tank must always be closed during the automatic washing process. A safety
valve immediately stops the feed pump if the lid of the cleaning tank is not closed or is being
opened.
-The following can be operated from the control panel on the front:
- Activating the supply to the atomiser
- Activating the supply from the clean thinner
- Activating/deactivating automatic washing process
- Setting the timer for the cleaning process
- After the washing process has finished, switching on the final manual cleaning
- Pumping up clean solvent
- EMERGENCY STOP

1.9 Dimensions

1.10 Equipment identification plate/type plate
Each spray gun cleaner has a type plate at the top right
of the machine with the following information:
-Manufacturer’s code.
-Name and address of the manufacturer.
-Model designation.
-Serial number.
-CE marking
The information on this plate must be given for all
service requests or orders of spare parts.

2. Installation
All of the following installation, adjustment and test procedures must be carried out
solely by qualified people. This guarantees that the work is carried out in accordance
with the safety regulations of the relevant directives.
2.1 Preparation
The HR 3000 is shipped in a shipping box marked “RISK OF BREAKAGE” and “DO NOT TILT” on the pallet.
The HR 3000 can be easily set up by 2 people using a means of transport.
Dimensions of the machine: (HxDxW):1580 x 600 x 840 mm –Weight 70 kg.
Packaging must be removed and disposed of in accordance with the locally valid waste regulations.
-The machine must be connected by a qualified electrician with the attached earthing cable
(green/yellow) from the earthing screw to the corresponding earthing point of the building
(equipotential bonding rail) or to securely earthed metallic parts. The connection must be secured
so as not to become loose and it must not corrode.
-Connect a possible steam extraction pipe to a suitable exhaust system with sufficient pipe
diameter, with the bend to the horizontal as close as possible to the spray gun cleaner.
-Use Teflon tape to connect the hose to the compressed air inlet of the blow-out gun.
-Warning! The maximum air pressure in the connection must be limited to 9 bar. If the air pressure
at the installation site is set to a higher pressure, a filter/regulator unit must be connected
upstream with a pressure gauge in order to set the air pressure to an operating pressure of 4 –
5 bar.
-Place the supplied empty 20 l container to the right in the collection vessel at the bottom part of
the HR 3000. Now insert the 3 black flexible hoses into this container. This container is designed to
absorb dirty thinner. The thinner hose with the filter must always be inserted all the way down into
the container and must not have any bends or kinks.
-Now place a full 20 l container of clean thinner to the left in the collection vessel of the bottom
part and insert the 2 grey flexible hoses and the 2 transparent hoses into the thinner in the
container. Ensure that the hoses are not bent or kinked and that all the hoses are in contact with
the bottom of the container.
-Regularly clean the canister with the dirty solvent, otherwise the filters may quickly clog up due to
paint residues.
-Make sure that thinner does not leak or contaminate the factory floor (overflowed thinner must be
removed immediately with an absorbent material).
-Now close the bottom part of the spray gun cleaner with the cover panel.
-Before using the machine, familiarise yourself with the HR 3000, the manual and how it works.
2.2 Adjustment options

2.3 Safety instructions
The following individual parts must not be modified or removed. They must always be kept in good
condition.
-The timer stops immediately once the lid of the cleaning tank is opened. This ensures that no
accident can occur due to solvents sprayed by the operator.
-The safety valve control rod automatically shuts off the supply of the solvent if the operator opens
the lid of the cleaning tank without first turning off the timer.
-The lower front door must always be closed during operation
-The removal of the earthing cable or disconnecting the connection to the machine or the earth.
2.4 The following measures must be taken in the rooms in which the HR 3000 has been set up
before it is put into operation for the first time.
- Suitable fire extinguishers (CO2 or BC powder) must be installed within easy reach.
Underneath, portable fire extinguishers must be available according to the fire extinguishing
regulations of the local fire brigade. The installed fire extinguishers must be checked regularly by
an authorized person or institution and must always be kept in a clean condition.
- It is forbidden to use water to extinguish fire. Burning materials can

- The extinguishing of fires can be found in the local fire protection regulations or man

- Escape routes must not be obstructed around the installation site of the HR 3000 in order to
to be able to leave the endangered area quickly in dangerous situations.
3. Using the machine
3.1 Preparation
-Before using the machine, familiarise yourself with the HR 3000, the manual and how it operates.
-During the cleaning process, it is necessary that the existing suction be switched on.
-The HR 3000 was developed exclusively for cleaning spray paint guns where paint from
conventional paint systems has stuck on to the individual parts and smaller objects.
-The HR 3000 must only be operated by people, who have carefully read and fully understood
these instructions.
-The HR 3000 must only be operated by healthy, qualified people, who have been properly
instructed.
-Do not drill holes in the HR 3000 or machine the surface of the HR 3000 with spark-generating
tools.
-Only cellulose thinners may be used for cleaning.
-Do not use chlorinated solvents or those containing fluorocarbons, such as trichloroethylene,
methyl chlorides or similar halogenated hydrocarbon-based substances.
-It is important to check that the solvent is not corrosive before changing the cleaning fluid. Stop
the cleaning process immediately and replace the cleaning agent if there are signs of
decomposition on the hoses or corrosion on the storage grate or in the cleaning tank.
-Should the skin or eyes nevertheless come into contact with the cleaning agents used, immediately
rinse the affected area under running water.
-Before each use of the HR 3000, check it in accordance with the safety regulations.
-It is important to check that the solvent is not corrosive before changing the cleaning fluid. Stop
the cleaning process immediately and replace the cleaning agent if there are signs of
decomposition on the hoses or corrosion on the storage grate or in the cleaning tank.
-The HR 3000 must be installed in a well-ventilated space (with inlet and exhaust ventilation) at a
suitable distance (≥ 1.5 m) from sockets, light switches, lights and other ignition sources.
-Before each use, check that the supply and suction hoses are inserted into the respective
containers in the bottom of the machine. Make sure that the hoses are not bent or kinked too
much and also check them regularly for damage and potentially replace them immediately.
Regularly check that the suction hose is always sufficiently immersed in the solvent to prevent the
pump from running dry.

-Do not run the diaphragm pump without liquid or without having fresh
thinner in the container.
-If the diaphragm pump makes noises or is working louder than normal, immediately check whether
there is too little fresh solvent in the container or the hose is not inserted far enough. If necessary,
replace with a full canister of fresh thinner.
-The paint stop filter on the black hose must be cleaned regularly.
-The safety valve’s control rod must be cleaned regularly to remove paint buildup.
-Regularly clean the work surface and the steam extraction connection.
-Note that there must be at least 5 litres of solvent in the right container.
-If the solvent in the right container has been used for several cleaning cycles, it must be replaced.
Dirty solvents can be regenerated with a special distiller or sent to an authorised disposal company
for disposal or reconditioning.
-If the machine will not be used for several months, flush the inside and hoses twice with clean
solvent. To do this, switch the diaphragm pump to refilling mode using the timer. Then switch off
the pump and remove the dirty thinner from the container
-Check and clean spray gun cleaning tips if necessary, should the parts not have been rendered
clean enough.
-Spray guns, lids and cups that are cleaned in the automatic spray gun cleaner may be attached
only to the nozzles and holders intended for this purpose, as shown in the symbols.

3.3 Adjustment options
The following instructions must be read and fully understood before operating the spray gun cleaner.
Spray guns can be cleaned differently with this machine:
-Suction cup guns can be cleaned without cups
-Gravity feed guns can be cleaned without a cup. (Recommended!)
-Gravity feed guns can also be cleaned with a mounted cup
Be careful when installing the HR 3000 before starting to clean the guns.
Put the black lever on the front in the horizontal position.
Now press and hold the black button for ± 40 seconds.
The clean thinner is now automatically pumped through the cleaning tank into the empty container.
Then return the black lever (Fig. 1) to the vertical position.
Check by listening to the sound that the diaphragm pump is running correctly by setting the timer to
1 minute and pressing the black button once.
3.3.1 Transferring clean thinner
-Pump approximately 7–8 litres of solvent into the right-hand container of the spray gun cleaner.
-Check that the diaphragm pump of the automatic cleaning process is working properly.
-The pump must operate at 40–50 times per minute.
-Close the lid of the cleaning tank.
-Turn the black lever on the front to the vertical position.
-Now press and hold the black button (Fig. 3) for ± 40 seconds.
The clean thinner is now automatically pumped through the cleaning tank into the empty
container.
-Then return the black lever (Fig. 1) to the horizontal position.
-Check by opening the door that the thinner has gone through the cleaning tank.
-Now close the lid of the cleaning tank again.
-Set the timer to 1 minute and check that the diaphragm pump is operating correctly.
-After the automatic cleaning process has finished, the guns can be cleaned with clean thinner. To
do this, turn the black lever to the horizontal position and press the red button for 5 seconds.
-Then return the lever to the vertical position. The paint spray guns are now cleaned inside and out
with clean thinner.

-Then connect the air hoses to the side of the spray gun air inlet and clamp the cup upside down
on the holder in question.
-Check again that the trigger of the spray gun is open and firmly locked with the clamp supplied.
-Then close the lid of the cleaning tank and set the timer to ± 5 min.

-After the automatic cleaning process has finished, the guns can be cleaned with clean thinner. To
do this, move the black lever to the vertical down position and press the red button for 5 seconds.
-Then return the lever to the horizontal position. The paint spray guns are now cleaned inside and
out with clean thinner.
3.3.3 Automatic cleaning of gravity feed guns (cup mounted)
-Remove the lid of the cup. Pour the rest of the paint from the cup into an extra container.
-Pull back the trigger of the gun and lock it in place with the hook provided.
-Then connect the clear air hose with the conical connector to the air inlet of the spray gun.
-Place the gun with the cup upside down in the relevant clamp holder.
-Check again that the trigger of the spray gun is open and firmly locked.
-Clamp the inside of the cover onto the cover holder.
-Then close the door and switch on the diaphragm pump. Set the timer to ± 5 min.

-After the automatic cleaning process has finished, the guns can be cleaned with clean thinner. To
do this, move the black lever to the vertical down position and press the red button for 5 seconds.

3.3.4 Automatic cleaning of gravity feed guns (without cup)
[Recommended!]
-Pour the rest of the paint into an extra container.
-Remove the cup from the gun.
-Pull back the trigger of the gun and lock it in place with the hook provided.
-Then place the gun with the paint inlet on the conical cleaning nozzle.
-Then insert the clear air hose with the conical connection into the air inlet of the spray gun and
clamp the cup upside down on the holder in question.
-Double-check that the trigger of the spray gun is open and firmly locked with the clamp provided.
Set the timer to ± 5 min.
Warning! The black lever must be in the horizontal position during automatic cleaning!!
-After the automatic cleaning process has finished, the guns can be cleaned with clean thinner. To
do this, move the black lever to the vertical down position and press the black button for
5 seconds.
-Then return the lever to the horizontal position. The paint spray guns are now cleaned inside and
out with clean thinner.
You can clean 2 paint spray guns at the same time. In addition, other parts can be manually pre-
cleaned or rinsed with clean thinner during the automatic cleaning time. If the paint spray gun to
be cleaned has not been completely cleaned, the cleaning time can be extended using the timer or
it can be cleaned manually. There are two options for this on the upper inner part of the machine.
They can be switched on manually.
3.3.5 Manual post-cleaning
-Remove the individual parts from the cleaning tank and place them on the grate.
-Clean the individual parts with clean cleaning thinner, switched on using the lever in the downward
vertical position.
-Clean the individual parts with the spray atomiser by switching on the lever in the downward

vertical position.
3.3.6 Semi-automatic post-cleaning in the cleaning tank
-Turn the black lever to the horizontal position.
-By pressing the black button, clean thinner is pumped to the sprayers in the cleaning tank. Do not
press the black button for more than 10 seconds, otherwise too much clean thinner will be
pumped out of the container.
-It is recommended that the parts be checked after every cleaning.
-If cleaning is not satisfactory, you can repeat the automatic cleaning process or clean parts
manually.
We recommend drying the cleaned spray gun with a lint-free cloth (e.g. microfibre cloth) after
each cleaning.
After the cleaning process
Close the top cover (main flap) of the spray gun cleaner after each cleaning operation.
This prevents solvent vapours from escaping through the main flap.
WARNING!!!!!
After each cleaning process, check the level of the dirty solvent container and replace the
container with an empty container, if necessary. It is recommended that containers of the same
size always be used. This prevents any overflow. Before opening the lower door of the HR 3000,
check that the timer knob is in <0> position. If this is not the case, turn the switch in the direction
of the bell symbol so that the timer is at zero <0>.
4.0 Maintenance
Observe the following rules in order to be able to carry out care or maintenance safely on the HR 3000:
-Disconnect the compressed air supply before repair or maintenance work.
-Regularly check that the safety devices are working properly.
-The removal or manipulation of the safety devices is strictly prohibited.
-Maintenance of the HR 3000 may be carried out solely by a qualified person and in accordance
with the instructions in the manual.
-The warning stickers on the HR 3000 provide information on prevention of accidents and damage.
This label must be kept clean and legible and must be replaced immediately if damaged.
-The HR 3000 must not be used if the safety devices, warning sticker or type plate are damaged or
missing.
-Only original spare parts may be used for repair or maintenance work.
-Have a qualified electrician check regularly that the earthing cable supplied is properly connected,
undamaged and that the connection is not corroded.
4.1 Regular inspection
-Regularly check that the fluid in the collection container is not too high or overflowing.
-Check in the containers that the solvent level is not too high in order to avoid any overflow.
Therefore, use containers of the same capacity.
-Check the filters on the suction hoses for blockages. If necessary, remove the filters, clean them
completely once (use air to blow them out) and re-attach them to the hoses.
-Check that the hoses are not bent or have any kinks, are not worn or damaged and hang cleanly
into the containers.
-Check whether the diaphragm pump is operating at approx. 40–50 cycles per minute.
-Check that the drain hose is always hanging down and does not hang with its end in the thinner.
-Regularly check that the fastening screws of the diaphragm pump are firmly screwed onto the
holder.
-Before each use, check that the earthing cable is firmly connected between HR 3000 and
-the earth connection and that it is not damaged.
-As a safety precaution, check and clean the suction filters on the hose regularly to ensure pump
performance.

4.2 Regular maintenance
-Users must exclusively carry out the maintenance work and checks listed below.
-Clean the spray gun cleaner regularly
-Clean or replace the paint stop filter on the black hose regularly
-Clean the work surface
-Clean the air and steam extraction on the inside of the machine
-Clean the shift rod on the safety valve of paint residues, etc.
-Clean the collection basin
-Clean and rinse the bottom of the collection basin after each use once the solvent has drained.
All other maintenance and repair work must be carried out by a suitable, qualified specialist.
WARNING! At least once a year, the HR 3000 must be thoroughly serviced by a
specialist qualified by the manufacturer. Defective or damaged parts must be replaced
immediately and exclusively with original parts.
4.3 Errors and troubleshooting
-Should one of the cleaning cycles not be executed completely, it is recommended that the points in
Sections 4.1 and 4.2 be carried out.
-If, despite these steps, the HR 3000 still fails to operate correctly, disconnect the compressed air
and set the main lever to the “0” position.
-Then inform the supplier or the manufacturer of the HR 3000 so that qualified personnel can carry
out troubleshooting.

met de juiste zorg jarenlang veilig en storingsvrij gebruik.
Om een veilige en storingsvrije werking te garanderen, is het belangrijk dat u deze gebruiksaanwijzing
aandachtig leest en altijd bij de hand in de buurt van dit apparaat houdt.

Wij zijn u graag van dienst bij het veilig installeren, bedienen en onderhoud van de HR 3000.
De voor u liggende bedieningshandleiding maakt deel uit van de HR 3000, bevat alle benodigde informatie
voor het juiste gebruik, de installatie en onderhoud van de HR 3000 RVS en moet daarom altijd
beschikbaar en leesbaar zijn.
De bediener is verplicht om de lokaal geldende regels na te leven omtrent het verwerken van stoffen die
kunnen resulteren in potentieel explosieve atmosferen, o.a. ATEX richtlijn 99/92/EC.
1.0 Algemeen
1.1 Veiligheid
De HR 3000 RVS is uitsluitend goedgekeurd voor het automatisch en/of handmatig reinigen van
spuitpistolen. Spuitpistolen en accessoires met adhesies van conventionele verfsystemen worden
uitsluitend gereinigd met reinigingsvloeistoffen op basis van oplosmiddelen (nitroverdunners) of de
hiervoor gespecificeerde reinigingsvloeistoffen.
De HR 3000 wordt gebruikt met reinigingsvloeistoffen op basis van oplosmiddelen. Bij een verkeerde
bediening, het niet in acht nemen van de gebruiksaanwijzing of een onveilige opstellingslocatie bestaat
gevaar voor deflagratie of explosies.
LET OP:
Wij raden aan om de HR 3000 op een mechanisch geforceerde ontluchter met een
minimale afzuiging van 700 m³/uur aan te sluiten.
De HR 3000 is onderworpen aan de volgende markering van explosieveilige
bedrijfsmiddelen: II 2G Exh IIB T4 Gb en mag daarom volgens ATEX 2014/34/EU Zone
1 ontstaat tijdens het reinigingsproces en zolang er vloeistof in de werkruimte is. Zone 2
bevindt zich tijdens het schoonmaken naar verwachting binnen 1,5 m van de HR 3000.
BELANGRIJK!!
De HR 3000 wordt geleverd met een aardingskabel.
Wij raden aan om vóór elk gebruik te controleren of de aardingsdraad correct door een elektricien is
aangesloten op een aardpotentiaal. De aansluitingen moeten zelfboregend zijn en tegen losraken worden
beveiligd en mogen niet corroderen.
Levensgevaar!! Als de HR 3000 niet goed geaard is, bestaat er gevaar voor statische
ontlading en daardoor een ongecontroleerde deflagratie of explosie!!!

Op de HR 3000 is zowel een typeplaatje van de fabrikant (rechtsboven) als een
etiket met waarschuwingen voor veilige omgang (op het bedieningspaneel) aangebracht.
Ontbrekende waarschuwingen of een ontbrekend typeplaatje moeten direct worden vervangen!
Zonder waarschuwingen of ontbrekend typeplaatje mag het apparaat verder niet
worden gebruikt!
De HR 3000 heeft zowel een typeplaatje van de fabrikant als een etiket met de volgende veiligheidstekens
cf. ASR A1.3:

Verdere belangrijke aanwijzingen:
1. Controleer voor elk gebruik of de slangen (behalve de afvoerslang) diep in de containers zitten.
2. Controleer regelmatig of de randen van de containers de slangen niet kunnen beschadigen.
3. Controleer regelmatig het niveau in de bakken om te voorkomen dat het oplosmiddel overloopt.
4. Gelekte of gemorste oplosmiddelen moeten onmiddellijk worden gebonden of weggeveegd
5. Schakel bij een storing het apparaat en de bijbehorende perslucht- en luchtafvoerleiding
onmiddellijk uit en informeer uw leverancier
6. Zorg ervoor dat de omgeving en de werkplek schoon worden gehouden
7. Draag in het algemeen geleidende persoonlijke beschermende kleding (hoofdstuk 1.2)
EMM wijst elke aansprakelijkheid of garantie af voor schade veroorzaakt door het niet in acht nemen van
de gebruiksaanwijzing.
1.2 Persoonlijke beschermingsmiddelen
De gebruiker of het bedieningspersoneel van de HR 3000 moet geschikte geleidende persoonlijke
veiligheidskleding in overeenstemming met de informatie op het veiligheidsinformatieblad (MSDS) voor de
gebruikte reinigingsvloeistof dragen.

1.3 Inzetplaats
De HR 3000 moet op een vlakke, volledig waterpas ondergrond worden opgesteld.
De ruimte (opstellingsplaats) dient goed te worden geventileerd volgens de indeling van de
gevarenclassificatie EN 60079-1-2016.
Het verdient aanbeveling het apparaat aan te sluiten op een aanzuigkanaal met een aparte
goedgekeurde ventilator of mechanische geforceerde ventilatie met een aanzuigvolume van 700 m³/sec.
aan te sluiten en zodat bijv.:
-zone 1 op een afstand van maximaal 0,5 m rond het apparaat
-zone 2 vanaf 1,5 m afstand rondom het apparaat volgens de lokaal geldende regels
1.4 Beoogd gebruik
De HR 3000 RVS is uitsluitend goedgekeurd voor het automatisch en/of handmatig reinigen van
spuitpistolen. Spuitpistolen en de accessoires met adhesies van conventionele verfsystemen worden
uitsluitend gereinigd met reinigingsvloeistoffen op basis van oplosmiddelen (nitroverdunners) of de
hiervoor gespecificeerde reinigingsvloeistoffen uit de gasgroepen IIA & IIB.
1.5 Disclaimer
E.M.M. wijst alle claims en de gevolgen daarvan af die zijn ontstaan door nalatigheid of niet-naleving van
deze gebruiksaanwijzing.
1.6 Vervoer
De HR 3000 wordt in een verzenddoos met het label 'BREEKBAAR' en 'NIET KANTELEN' op een pallet
verzonden. Met behulp van 2 personen is de HR 3000 eenvoudig op te stellen met een
transportmiddel/heftruck.
1.7 Auteursrecht
Het recht om de inhoud van deze gebruiksaanwijzing te wijzigen is uitlsuitend voorbehouden aan de auteur
§39 UrhG.
1.8 Productoverzicht
-De HR 3000 is een innovatief en volledig pneumatisch wasapparaat. De HR 3000 is volledig
gemaakt van roestvaststaal, met slangen voor het transport van oplosmiddelen en gepoedercoate
kraanhendels op de voorzijde van het bedieningspaneel.
-De HR 3000 is uitgerust met een membraanpomp.
-Voor de handmatige reiniging gebruikt het apparaat een venturi-principe. De schone
reinigingsvloeistof wordt aangezogen uit een container (niet meegeleverd) in het onderste deel van
het apparaat.
-De gebruikte, vuile reinigingsvloeistof wordt vervolgens via de reinigingstank in een tweede
container afgevoerd (lege container met vulopening volgens DIN 61 is bij de levering inbegrepen).
-Schadelijke gassen en dampen die zich in het boven- en ondergedeelte van de HR 3000 kunnen
vormen, moeten door middel van mechanische geforceerde afzuiging met een afzuigvolume van
700 m³/u te worden afgezogen.
-De klep van de reinigingsbak moet tijdens het automatische wasproces altijd gesloten zijn. Een
veiligheidsklep stopt de toevoerpomp onmiddellijk wanneer de klep van de reinigingstank niet
gesloten is of wordt geopend.
-Via het bedieningspaneel aan de voorzijde kan het volgende worden bediend:
-de toevoer naar de vernevelaar inschakelen
-de toevoer van schoon verdunningsmiddel inschakelen
-het automatische wasproces in of uitschakelen
-de timer van het reinigingsproces instellen
-na afloop van het wasproces de handmatige laatste reiniging inschakelen
-schoon oplosmiddel oppompen
-NOODSTOP

1.9 Afmetingen

1.10 Identificatieplaatje apparaat/typeplaatje
Elke spuitpistoolreiniger heeft een typeplaatje rechtsboven
op het apparaat met de volgende gegevens:
-Kenmerk van de fabrikant.
-Naam en adres van de fabrikant.
-Modelaanduiding.
-Serienummer.
-CE-markering
De gegevens op deze plaatjes moeten bij alle
servicevragen of bestellingen van reserveonderdelen worden
gemeld.

2. Installatie
Alle volgende installatie-, instel- en testprocedures mogen alleen worden uitgevoerd
door gekwalificeerde personen. Zo wordt gegarandeerd dat de werkzaamheden
worden uitgevoerd in overeenstemming met de veiligheidsvoorschriften van de
betreffende richtlijnen.
2.1 Voorbereiding
De HR 3000 wordt in een verzenddoos met het label 'BREEKBAAR' en 'NIET KANTELEN' op een pallet
verzonden. Met behulp van 2 personen kan de HR 3000 eenvoudig met transportmiddelen worden
opgesteld.
Afmetingen apparaat: (HxDxB)::1580 x 600 x 840 mm - gewicht 70 kg.
De verpakking moet worden verwijderd en afgevoerd in overeenstemming met de plaatselijke
afvalvoorschriften.
-Het apparaat moet worden aangesloten door een gekwalificeerde elektricien met de meegeleverde
aardingskabel (groen/geel) van de aardingsschroef naar het overeenkomstige aardingspunt van
het gebouw (potentiaalvereffeningsrail) of aan veilig geaarde metalen onderdelen. De verbinding
moet worden beveiligd tegen losraken en mag niet corroderen.
-Sluit een eventuele dampafzuiging aan op een geschikt luchtafvoersysteem met een leiding van
voldoende diameter Ø, waarbij de bocht naar de horizontaal, zo dicht mogelijk bij de
spuitpistoolreiniger ligt.
-Gebruik teflontape om de slang aan te sluiten op de drukluchtinlaat van het uitblaaspistool.
-Opgelet! De maximale aansluitluchtdruk moet worden beperkt tot 9 bar. Indien de luchtdruk op de
opstellingsplaats op een hogere druk wordt ingesteld, moet er een filter/regeleenheid met een
manometer worden aangesloten om de luchtdruk in te stellen op een werkdruk van 4 - 5 bar.
-Plaats de meegeleverde lege 20 L container rechts in de opvangbak van het onderste deel van de
HR 3000. Steek nu de 3 zwarte flexibele slangen in deze container. Deze container is bedoeld voor
de vuile verdunner. De dunnere slang met het filter moet altijd helemaal naar beneden in de
container worden gestoken en mag niet geknikt zijn.
-Plaats nu een volle container van 20 l schone verdunner links in de opvangbak van het onderste
deel en steek de 2 grijze flexibele slangen en de 2 transparante slangen in de verdunner van de
container. Zorg ervoor dat er geen slang geknikt is en dat alle slangen in contact zijn met de
bodem van de container.
-Reinig de container vaker met het verontreinigde oplosmiddel omdat de filters anders snel verstopt
kunnen raken met verfresten.
-Zorg ervoor dat er geen verdunner uitloopt of de werkvloer wordt vervuild (overgelopen verdunner
moet onmiddellijk worden opgenomen met een geschikt bindmiddel).
-Sluit nu het onderste deel van de spuitpistoolreiniger af met de afdekplaat.
-Zorg dat u voor gebruik vertrouwd bent met de HR 3000, de gebruiksaanwijzing en de werking van
het apparaat.
2.2 Instelmogelijkheden
-Schone verdunning oppompen

2.3 Veiligheidsinstructies
De volgende afzonderlijke onderdelen mogen niet worden gewijzigd of uitgebouwd. Deze moeten altijd in
goede staat worden gehouden.
-De timer stopt onmiddellijk wanneer het deksel van de reinigingstank wordt geopend. Dit
voorkomt dat er geen ongelukken door het oplosmiddel dat over de operator wordt gesproeid
kunnen gebeuren.
-De schakelstang van de veiligheidsklep sluit automatisch de toevoer van oplosmiddel af als de
operator het deksel van de reinigingstank opent voordat de timer eerst wordt uitgeschakeld.
-De onderste deur aan de voorzijde moet tijdens bedrijf altijd gesloten zijn
-Het verwijderen van de aardingskabel of het losmaken van de verbinding met het apparaat of met
de aarding.
2.4 De volgende maatregelen dienen te worden getroffen in de ruimten waarin de HR 3000 is
opgesteld voordat deze voor de eerste keer in gebruik wordt genomen.
- Geschikte brandblussers (CO2 of BC-poeder) moeten binnen handbereik worden geïnstalleerd.
Daaronder moeten draagbare brandblussers aanwezig zijn volgens de blusvoorschriften van de plaatselijke
brandweer. De geïnstalleerde brandblussers moeten regelmatig worden gecontroleerd door een bevoegde
persoon of instelling en moeten altijd in een schone staat worden gehouden.
- Het is verboden water te gebruiken om vuur te blussen. Brandende materialen kunnen
In combinatie met water schadelijke of brandbare gassen uitstoten of de temperatuur van de brandhaard
verhogen.
- Het blussen van branden is te vinden in de lokale brandbeveiligingsvoorschriften of man
in geval van nood de plaatselijke brandweer waarschuwen.
- Vluchtroutes mogen rondom de opstellingsplaats van de HR 3000 niet worden belemmerd om:
om in gevaarlijke situaties het bedreigde gebied snel te kunnen verlaten.
3. Toepassing
3.1 Voorbereiding
-Zorg dat u voor gebruik vertrouwd bent met de HR 3000, de gebruiksaanwijzing en de werking van
het apparaat
-Tijdens het reinigingsproces is het noodzakelijk om een bestaand afzuigsysteem in te schakelen.
-De HR 3000 is uitsluitend ontwikkeld voor het reinigen van verfspuitpistolen waarvan de
afzonderlijke onderdelen en kleinere voorwerpen door adhesies van conventionele verfsystemen
zijn vervuild.
-De HR 3000 mag alleen worden bediend door personen die deze handleiding zorgvuldig gelezen en
volledig begrepen hebben.
-De HR 3000 mag uitsluitend door gezonde, competente en geïnstrueerde personen worden
bediend.
-Het is ten strengste verboden gaten in de HR 3000 te boren of het oppervlak van de HR 3000 met
vonkvormend gereedschap te bewerken.
-Voor de reiniging mogen uitsluitend nitro-verdunners worden gebruikt.
-Het is ten strengste verboden om gechloreerde oplosmiddelen of oplosmiddelen die
fluorkoolwaterstoffen bevatten zoals trichloorethyleen, methylchloride of soortgelijke stoffen op
basis van gehalogeneerde koolwaterstoffen te gebruiken.
-Het is belangrijk om vooraf aan elke vervanging van de reinigingsvloeistof te controleren of het
oplosmiddel niet-corrosief is. Stop het reinigingsproces onmiddellijk en vervang het
reinigingsmiddel als er tekenen zijn van aantasting van de slangen of corrosie op het oplegrooster
of de reinigingsbak.
-Mochten de huid of ogen desondanks in contact komen met de gebruikte reinigingsmiddelen, moet
de betreffende plek direct onder stromend water worden afgespoeld.
-Voor elk gebruik van de HR 3000 moet deze in overeenstemming met de veiligheidsvoorschriften
worden gecontroleerd.
-Het is belangrijk om vooraf aan elke vervanging van de reinigingsvloeistof te controleren of het
