Warranty
WHAT IS COVERED
The manufacturer warrants this lighting fixture to be free from defects in materials and workmanship
for a period of five (5) years from date of purchase. This warranty applies only to the original
consumer purchaser and only to products used in normal use and service. If this product is found to
be defective, the manufacturer’s only obligation, and your exclusive remedy, is the repair or
replacement of the product at the manufacturer’s discretion, provided that the product has not been
damaged through misuse, abuse, accident, modifications, alterations, neglect or mishandling.
WHAT IS NOT COVERED
This warranty shall not apply to any product that is found to have been improperly installed, set-up,
or used in any way not in accordance with the instructions supplied with the product. This warranty
shall not apply to a failure of the product as a result of an accident, misuse, abuse, negligence,
alteration, or faulty installation, or any other failure not relating to faulty material or workmanship.
This warranty shall not apply to the finish on any portion of the product, such as surface and/or
weathering, as this is considered normal wear and tear.
The manufacturer does not warrant and specially disclaims any warranty, whether expressed or
implied, of fitness for a particular purpose, other than the warranty contained herein. The
manufacturer specifically disclaims any liability and shall not be liable for any consequential or
incidental loss or damage, including but not limited to any labor/expense costs involved in the

Pre-Installation
PLANNING THE INSTALLATION
Read all instructions before assembly and installation. Before starting installation of the fixture or
removal of a previous fixture, disconnect the power by turning off the circuit breaker or by removing
the fuse at the fuse box. To avoid damaging this product, assemble it on a soft, non-abrasive
surface such as carpet or cardboard.

for Proof of Purchase.

1Attaching the mounting bracket
Thread two hex nuts (AA) onto the nipple
(EE) to the midpoint.
Thread the nipple (EE) in through the
center hole of the mounting bracket (JJ)
approximately 1/3 of the way. Do not
tighten the hex nuts (AA).
Pull the supply wires out from the outlet
box.
Attach the mounting bracket (JJ) to the
outlet box by feeding the mounting screws
(FF) through the slots of the mounting
bracket (JJ) and tightening them into the
mounting holes of the outlet box.
2Aligning the canopy
Thread the screw collar loop (HH) 8 to 9
turns onto the bottom end of the nipple
(EE).
Tighten the bottom hex nut (AA) against
screw collar loop (HH).
Place the canopy (B) over the outlet box.
Turn the screw collar loop (HH) until the
midpoint of the outer threads of the screw
collar loop (HH) aligns with the bottom
surface of the canopy (B).
Remove the canopy (B) and tighten the top
hex nut (AA) against the mounting bracket
(JJ).

3Adjusting the chain length
Separate the arms on the main fixture
body (A) evenly around the center.
Thread the top loop (II) onto the top of the
main fixture body (A).
Attach the chain (KK) to the top loop (II)
using the chain link connector (DD).
Raise the chain (KK) and the main fixture
body (A) up to the outlet box to determine
the desired length needed for installation.
Identify the chain link that needs to be
opened to remove the excess chain.
Open the chain link using two pair of pliers.
Remove and discard the excess chain.
Keep the opened chain link.
4Securing the chain
Slide the threaded ring (CC) onto the chain
(KK) followed by the canopy (B).
Hook the previously opened chain link
onto the top link of the chain (KK).
Raise the opened chain link along with the
chain (KK) and the main fixture body (A)
up to the ceiling and hook it onto the screw
collar loop (HH).
Use pliers to close the opened chain link.

5Threading the cord
Feed the cord and fixture ground wire into
the center hole of the screw collar loop
(HH), through the nipple (EE), and then out
of the outlet box.
Continue feeding the cord and fixture
ground wire until there is no slack
remaining.
Cut off any excess cord and fixture ground
wire, leaving 6 in. extending from the outlet
box.
Split and separate the fixture cord and strip
off 3/8 in. of insulation from each wire.
6Connecting the wires
Loop the fixture ground wire around the
ground screw located on the mounting
bracket (JJ) and leave 4 in. of wire
extending from the ground screw.
Tighten the ground screw against the
mounting bracket (JJ).
Connect the black supply wire to the
smooth fixture wire using a wire nut (BB).
Connect the white supply wire to the ribbed
fixture wire using a wire nut (BB).
Connect the fixture ground wire and the
supply ground wire together using a wire
nut (BB).
Wrap all wire connections with electrical
tape for a more secure connection.
Carefully tuck all wire connections into the
outlet box.

7Securing the canopy
Slide the canopy (B) up the chain (KK),
toward the outlet box, and up against the
ceiling surface.
Slide the threaded ring (CC) up the chain
(KK) and thread it onto the screw collar
loop (HH) to secure the canopy (B) flush
against the ceiling surface.
8Assembling the fixture
Place a glass shade (C) on each socket
cup using a socket ring (GG).
Install an incandescent light bulb or listed
SBCFL (Self-Ballasted Compact
Fluorescent Lamp [not included]) into the
sockets of the main fixture body (A).

Operation
Turn on power at the circuit breaker or fuse box.
Turn the light switch on to activate the fixture.
Care and Cleaning
EXTERIOR MAINTENANCE
Use a dry or slightly dampened clean cloth
and wipe the surface of the fixture.
INTERIOR MAINTENANCE
Disconnect power to the fixture by turning off
the circuit breaker or by removing the fuse at the
fuse box.
Use a dry or slightly dampened clean cloth to
wipe the interior surface of the fixture.
Troubleshooting

NOTE: Do not use any cleaners with chemicals,
solvents, or harsh abrasives. Use only a dry
soft cloth to dust or wipe carefully.
Problem
Solution
The light will not turn on.
Make sure the power supply is on.
Test or replace the switch.
Check the wiring.
Replace the light bulb.
The fuse blows or the circuit breaker trips
when the light is turned on.
Check the wire connections.
