Removal of this section
One customer reported that the section below can catch on bumpers, others have no issue. This section
should be inspected for clearance when loading your vehicle, if you elect to remove this section please
advise HAPP.
Length of Runways
The HAPP27 runway length is 4.6m.
The length from crossbeam to crossbeam on delivered product should be measured and used to determine
optimum location.
Safety release mechanism
Do not force the safety release mechanism. Move your release level and review its operation.

The top runway is upside down, it can be turned over during removal, prior removal the
hydraulic ram should be extended to its full length, this will make installing of the
cables easier later on, be aware the oil will come out of cylinder as the cables are
pulled.

After this step the runways are now able to be positioned on cross beams ready for
assembly.
Assembling'the'hoist'
The assembly of the hoist follows the following basic steps
1.)Place the cross beams on blocks in correct position in building
2.)Assemble the runways onto the crossbeams
3.)Place the columns onto the cross beams
4.)Attach cables and safety mechanism
5.)Align columns into correct position in building
6.)Ensure the columns fit tightly onto nylon blocks at end of cross beam (no sideways movement)
7.)Double check all measurements
8.)Bolt in columns
9.)Fit pump assembly
10.)Adjust cables and safety mechanism

This is important as the installation of the cables will be easier with the runways raised and the cross beams will be easier
to move.

The runways are lowered onto the cross beams, it is important to note that the pulley on the main runway will need to be
slid into position, YOU CANNOT LOWER THE MAIN RUNWAY INTO POSITION, IT MUST BE LOWERED AT
AN ANGLE AT PUMP ASSEMBLY END AND THEN SLID INTO POSITION.
The main runway is typically installed first followed by the slave runway.

Whilst the runways are being lowered and slotted into position ensure the cables are routed into the cross beam, some of
the cables must be fed into the position during this step.
