INTRODUCTION
Hatco GLOMAX®Curved Display Lights provide effective and
stylish lighting for non-critical food holding and display areas.
The sleek, curved design minimizes the display light size while
accenting the food product below.
GLOMAX Curved Display Lights are products of extensive
research and field testing. The materials used were selected
for maximum durability, attractive appearance, and optimum
performance. Every unit is inspected and tested thoroughly
prior to shipment.
This manual provides the installation, safety, and operating
instructions for GLOMAX Curved Display Lights. Hatco
recommends all installation, operating, and safety instructions
appearing in this manual be read prior to installation or
operation of a unit.
Safety information that appears in this manual is identified by
the following signal word panels:

WARNING indicates a hazardous situation which, if not

Replacement Parts will void all warranties and may
subject operators of the equipment to hazardous
electrical voltage, resulting in electrical shock or burn.
Genuine Hatco Replacement Parts are specified to
operate safely in the environments in which they are
used. Some after-market or generic replacement parts
do not have the characteristics that will allow them to
operate safely in Hatco equipment.
Make sure all operators have been instructed on the safe
and proper use of the unit.
This unit is not intended for use by children or persons
with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities.
Ensure proper supervision of children and keep them
away from the unit.

designed specifically for food holding areas. Using LED
light assemblies not designed for food holding areas
could result in personal injury and/or food contamination.
This unit has no “user-serviceable” parts. If service is
required on this unit, contact an Authorized Hatco Service

marring its appearance and making it susceptible to soil
accumulation.
Clean unit daily to avoid malfunctions and maintain
sanitary operation.

All Models
All GLOMAX®Curved Display Lights consist of a curved,
aluminum housing that is ideal for installation in tight spaces.
LED light assemblies provide display lighting to accent food
product below. A Power On/Off switch is located on the
underside of the unit.
Curved Display Lights are available in widths of
762–1982 mm (30″–78″) and are supplied with angle brackets
for under-shelf mounting. LED light strip color output is a neutral
white light (4100K). Finish options include clear anodized or
black anodized. Units come standard with 1524 mm (60″) wire
leads.
NOTE: Refer to the OPTIONS AND ACCESSORIES section for
countertop mounting options.

General
Use the information in this section to install a GLOMAX®Curved
Display Light. Display lights are shipped with most components
pre-assembled.
WARNING

1. Remove the unit from the shipping carton, and remove all
packing materials.
NOTE: To prevent delay in obtaining warranty coverage,
complete online warranty registration. See the
IMPORTANT OWNER INFORMATION section for
details.
2. Remove tape and protective packaging from all surfaces
of the unit.
NOTE: For units equipped with tubular stands, refer to the
OPTIONS AND ACCESSORIES section for installation
details.
3. Install the unit in an appropriate location. Refer to the
“Installing the Unit” procedure in this section.
Installing the Unit
Use the following procedure to install the unit using the supplied
angle brackets and screws.
NOTE: Refer to the OPTIONS AND ACCESSORIES section for
countertop mounting options.
NOTE: Units can be ordered with up to 3 m (10') of wire leads.
1. Determine the exact mounting location on the underside of
a wood or metal shelf.
NOTE:The attached angle brackets provide 25 mm (1″)
clearance between the unit and an overshelf.
2. Fasten the angle brackets to the underside of the shelf
using the supplied mounting screws (not supplied by
Hatco). Make sure the unit is facing the desired direction
with the wire leads on the proper side before fastening the
unit to the shelf.

3. Have a qualified electrician perform the necessary
electrical connections to the on-site electrical system.

OPERATION
General
GLOMAX Curved Display Lights are designed for ease of
operation. Use the following information and procedures to
operate the unit.
WARNING
Read all safety messages in the IMPORTANT SAFETY
INFORMATION section before operating this equipment.
Startup
1. Move the Power On/Off switch to the “On” position.
• The LED light assemblies will illuminate.
Shutdown
1. Move the Power On/Off switch to the “Off” position.
2. Perform the “Daily Cleaning” procedure in the
MAINTENANCE section of this manual.

General
GLOMAX Curved Display Lights are designed for maximum
durability and performance with minimum maintenance.
WARNING
ELECTRIC SHOCK HAZARD:
• Turn OFF power switch and disconnect unit from power
source before performing any cleaning, adjustments, or
maintenance.
• DO NOT submerge or saturate with water. Unit is not
waterproof. Do not operate if unit has been submerged
or saturated with water.
• This unit is not “jet-proof” construction. Do not use jet-

Daily Cleaning
To preserve the finish of the display light, it is recommended that
all surfaces be cleaned daily.
NOTICE
Use non-abrasive cleaners and cloths only. Abrasive
cleaners and cloths could scratch the finish of the unit,
marring its appearance and making it susceptible to soil
accumulation.
1. Turn off the unit and allow the unit to cool.
2. Wipe down all metal surfaces with a water-dampened,
non-abrasive cloth. Stubborn stains may be removed with
a good stainless steel or non-abrasive cleaner. Clean hard
to reach areas using a small brush and mild soap.
3. Wipe dry the entire unit using a non-abrasive, dry cloth.

Symptom Probable Cause Corrective Action
Unit is turned “On” but there is
no light.
No power to unit. Check circuit breaker/power cord and reset/plug in, if necessary.
LED light assembly is defective. Replace LED light assembly. Refer to procedure in
MAINTENANCE section.
Switch is defective.
Contact Authorized Service Agent or Hatco for assistance.
Wiring is open.
Light is inadequate. Unit mounted too high above target area. Lower unit, putting effective light closer to target.
LED light assembly defective. Replace LED light assembly. Refer to procedure in
MAINTENANCE section.
Incorrect power supply (low). Check power supply to unit, making sure it matches rating on
the unit. If power supply is incorrect, change to match rating
on unit.
MAINTENANCE
Replacing an LED Light Assembly
GLOMAX®Curved Display Lights have two LED light
assemblies that illuminate the area below. These LED light
assemblies have special covers to guard against injury and
food contamination in the event of breakage.
To replace an LED light assembly:
1. Turn off the unit, allow the unit to cool, and disconnect the
power supply at the circuit breaker.
2. Unscrew the wiring access panel screws to remove the
wiring access panel.
3. Disconnect the LED wire lead connectors.
4. Release and remove the LED light assembly from the
retaining clips.
• At each retaining clip location, grasp the inside edge of
the light assembly, and carefully pull the assembly down
and out of the clip.
5. Position the new LED light assembly in the unit, and
carefully snap it into each retaining clip.
6. Connect the new LED light assembly wire leads to the wire
connectors.
7. Tuck the LED wire leads neatly up into the space between
the light assembly and the LED control box.
8. Re-install the wiring access panel using the screws.
NOTE: Hatco LED light assemblies meet standards for food
holding and display areas. For replacement LED
light assemblies part numbers, refer to the HLC5
Series Replacement Parts List on the Hatco website
(www.hatcocorp.com).

OPTIONS AND ACCESSORIES
Non-Adjustable Stands
Aluminum, non-adjustable stands are available as an option
for permanent mounting to a countertop. They are available in
heights of 409 mm (16″).
1. Determine the exact mounting location.
2. Prepare the location of each stand mounting flange on the
mounting surface. It is recommended to use the included
template for best results.
a. Lay the included template on the countertop in the
mounting location for accurate mounting hole and conduit
hole locations. Use the “Stand Mounting Measurements”
table and the illustration for mounting dimensions, if the
template is not available.
b. Verify which stand will have the conduit passing through
it and the mounting surface. Re-orient the included
template, if necessary.
c. If necessary, remove the backing from the template and
carefully lay the template onto the mounting surface at
its appropriate position.
d. Drill holes through the approriate locations on the
template based on the unit size.
e. Remove the template from the countertop, if necessary.
3. Feed the conduit from the unit through the appropriate
holes, and position the unit on the mounting surface.
4. Fasten the stands to the mounting surface using appropriate
fasteners (not supplied by Hatco). Each mounting flange
has two mounting hole locations.
5. Have a qualified electrician perform the necessary electrical
connections to the on-site electrical system

INTERNATIONAL LIMITED WARRANTY
1. PRODUCT WARRANTY
Hatco warrants the products that it manufactures (the
“Products”) to be free from defects in materials and
workmanship, under normal use and service, for a period of
one (1) year from the date of purchase when installed and
maintained in accordance with Hatco’s written instructions
or 18 months from the date of shipment from Hatco. Buyer
must establish the Product’s purchase date by registering the
Product with Hatco or by other means satisfactory to Hatco in
its sole discretion.
Hatco warrants the following Product components to be free
from defects in materials and workmanship from the date of
purchase (subject to the foregoing conditions) for the period(s)
of time and on the conditions listed below:

IN LIEU OF ANY OTHER WARRANTY, EXPRESSED OR
IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO ANY IMPLIED
WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR
A PARTICULAR PURPOSE OR PATENT OR OTHER
INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHT INFRINGEMENT. Without
limiting the generality of the foregoing, SUCH WARRANTIES
DO NOT COVER: Coated incandescent light bulbs, fluorescent
lights, heat lamp bulbs, coated halogen light bulbs, halogen
heat lamp bulbs, xenon light bulbs, LED light tubes, glass
components, and fuses; Product failure in booster tank, fin
tube heat exchanger, or other water heating equipment caused
by liming, sediment buildup, chemical attack, or freezing;
or Product misuse, tampering or misapplication, improper
installation, or application of improper voltage.
2. LIMITATION OF REMEDIES AND DAMAGES
Hatco’s liability and Buyer’s exclusive remedy hereunder will
be limited solely to replacement of part or Product using, at
Hatco’s option, new or refurbished parts or Product by Hatco
or a Hatco-authorized service agency with respect to any
claim made within the applicable warranty period referred to
above. Hatco reserves the right to accept or reject any such
claim in whole or in part. In the context of this Limited Warranty,
“refurbished” means a part or Product that has been returned
to its original specifications by Hatco or a Hatco-authorized
service agency. Hatco will not accept the return of any Product
without prior written approval from Hatco, and all such approved
returns shall be made at Buyer’s sole expense. HATCO WILL
NOT BE LIABLE, UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES, FOR
CONSEQUENTIAL OR INCIDENTAL DAMAGES, INCLUDING
BUT NOT LIMITED TO LABOR COSTS OR LOST PROFITS
RESULTING FROM THE USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE
THE PRODUCTS OR FROM THE PRODUCTS BEING
INCORPORATED IN OR BECOMING A COMPONENT OF
ANY OTHER PRODUCT OR GOODS.
SERVICE INFORMATION
The warranty on this Hatco unit is for one year from date of
purchase or eighteen months from date of shipping from Hatco,
whichever occurs first.
If you experience a problem with this unit during the warranty
period, please do the following:

When contacting the Hatco dealer for service assistance,
please supply the dealer with the following information to en-
sure prompt processing:

• Serial number (located on unit)
• Specific problem with the unit
• Date of purchase

The Hatco dealer will do the following:
• Provide replacement part(s) as required
• Submit warranty claim to Hatco for processing

使用下列程序，利用随附的角形托架和螺丝安装设备。

每日清洁
为保护展示灯的抛光表面，建议每天清洁所有表面。
只允许使用没有摩擦性的清洁剂和布。 具有摩擦性的清洁剂和
布可能会刮伤设备的表面处理层，破坏其外观，并易使表面积
尘。
1. 关掉设备，令其冷却。
2. 用非研磨的蘸水布擦拭所有金属表面。 顽固污渍可使用品
质良好的不锈钢或无磨料清洁剂去除。 使用小刷子和温和
皂清洁双手难以接触到的区域。
3. 使用没有摩擦性的干布擦干整个设备。

症状 可能原因 纠正措施
设备“打开”，但无灯照。 设备没有通电。 检查断路器/电源线，如有必要则重置/插入。

维护
更换 LED 光路
GLOMAX 弧形照明灯具有照亮下方区域的两条 LED 光路。
这些光路有特殊覆层可防止人员受伤，并能在发生破损时防止
食品污染。
要更换 LED 光路，请执行以下操作：
1. 关闭设备并让设备冷却，然后断开断路器电源。
2. 拧开线路检修板螺丝，取下线路检修板。
3. 断开 LED 导线连接器。
4. 从固定卡子上松开并拆下 LED 光路。
• 在每个固定卡子位置，抓住光路的内边缘，小心地将光
路向下拉，直至从卡子中拉出。
5. 将新的 LED 光路放置在设备中，并小心地将其卡入每个
固定卡子中。
6. 将新的 LED 光路导线连接到接线器。
7. 将 LED 导线整齐地塞进光路与 LED 控制盒之间空隙。
8. 使用螺丝重新安装线路检修板。
注意： Hatco 的 LED 光路符合食品存放和陈列区域标准。

选项和配件
不可调节支架
作为工作台面永久安装选件，铝制不可调节支架可供选择。 可
提供的支架高度为 409 mm (16″)。
1. 确定具体安装位置。
2. 在安装表面上准备每个支架安装法兰的位置。 为取得最佳
效果，建议使用附带的模板。
a. 将附带的模板放在工作台面上的安装位置，以确定安装
孔和导管孔位置。 如果没有模板，使用“支架安装测量
值”表格和图示确定安装尺寸。
b. 验证哪个支架将有穿过支架和安装表面的导管。 如有必
要，调整附带的模板方向。
c. 如有必要，在模板背胶纸撕开后可将模板粘在工作台面
上的相应位置
d. 在模板上的相应位置，根据设备尺寸钻孔。
e. 如有必要，从工作台面取下模板。
3. 将设备的导管穿过相应的孔，并将设备放在安装表面上。
4. 使用适当紧固件（Hatco 不提供）将支架紧固在安装表面
上。 每个安装法兰都有两个安装孔位置。
5. 让有资质的电工完成与现场电气系统的必要电气连接

赫高保证其生产的产品（下称“本产品”）不存在材料和工艺缺
陷，在按照赫高的说明书安装和维护的情况下，自购买之日
起1年内（用户必须书面且保养）或自赫高出厂之日起18个月
内，设备可以保证正常工作。客户必须通过在赫高的官网上完
成本产品的注册来确定产品的购买日期，或是经由赫高判断进
而认可的其他方式。
赫高保证在下述时间内及条件下，下列部件自购买之日起（符
合上述条件）起不存在材料和工艺缺陷（条件如下）：
a) 保修期为两（2）年的部件：
履带式烤面包机加热器（金属铠装）
保温抽屉加热器（金属铠装）
保温抽屉的抽屉滚轴和滑轨
S食品保温器加热器（金属铠装）
保温陈列柜加热元件（金属铠装、空气加热）

可更换零件
上述质保为赫高独家提供，并代替任何明示或隐含的质保，包
括但不限于侵犯某个特定用途、专利或其他知识产权的适够性
或实用性的银汉质保。在没有特定说明的情况下，上述质保不
包括：带涂层白炽灯泡、日光灯、保温加热灯泡、带涂层卤素
灯泡、卤素加热灯泡、氙气灯泡、LED光管、玻璃组件和保险
丝；由于结垢、化学腐蚀或严寒造成的瞬时加热器水箱、翅片
管式换热器或其他水加热设备的故障；或产品使用不当、擅自
改动或误用、安装不当，或电压不正确。
2. 修复和损坏限制
本文所述赫高责任以及对用户的独家修复补偿义务仅限于在上
述保修期内提出索赔，由赫高或赫高授权的服务机构负责更换
新零件或产品或对原零件或产品进行维修。赫高有权接受或拒
绝任何此类全部或部分的索赔。在此有限质保规定中，“翻新”
是指本产品的部分或整机已经被赫高或赫高授权的服务代理机
构修复至原有的产品规格。未经赫高事先书面批准，赫高不接
受任何产品的退回，经过赫高同意的产品退回，其相关费用均
由用户独自承担。在任何情况下，对于因故或意外而引起的损
失，包括但不限于人工费用，或因产品的使用，或不会用，或
产品隶属或成为其他产品的一部分而造成的利润损失，赫高将
不予负责。

此款 Hatco 设备的保修期为自购买之日起 1 年内或 Hatco 发
