Work area safety
Keep work area clean and well lit. Cluttered or dark areas invite accidents.
Keep children and bystanders away while using the Wheelbarrow.
Distractions can cause you to lose control.
Personal safety
Stay alert, watch what you are doing and use common sense when using
the Wheelbarrow. Do not use this product while you are tired or under the

Tool use and care
Do not overload the Wheelbarrow. Use the correct product for your
application. The correct product will do the job better and safer at the rate for
which it was designed.
Store idle tools out of the reach of children and do not allow people unfamiliar
with the Wheelbarrow or these instructions to operate the tool. Tools are
dangerous in the hands of untrained users.
Maintain the Wheelbarrow. Check for misalignment or binding of moving
parts, breakage of parts and any other condition that may affect the tool’s
operation. If damaged, have the Wheelbarrow repaired before use. Many
accidents are caused by poorly maintained tools.
Use the Wheelbarrow in accordance with these instructions and in the
manner intended for this particular type of tool, taking into account the

When unpacking, check to make sure the item is intact and undamaged. If any parts are
missing or broken, please call Harbor Freight Tools at the number shown on the cover of
this manual as soon as possible.
This product is packed in three boxes:
Box Aincludes the Tub (Item #87590)
Box Bincludes the component parts (Item #87591)
Box Cincludes the Steel Handles (Item #87592)
ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
Read the ENTIRE IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION section at the
beginning of this manual including all text under subheadings therein
before set up or use of this product.
NOTE: For additional information regarding the parts listed in the following
pages, refer to the Assembly Diagram near the end of this manual.
IMPORTANT:
Wheelbarrow has been assembled.
Set the two Steel Handles (2) parallel to one another and elevated approximately
(See Assy. Diagram.)
Place the Nose Guard (6) around and over the ends of the Steel Handles (2).

Place the two Wooden Wedges (3) on top of each Steel Handle (2), and align the
bolt holes in the Wedges with the corresponding bolt holes in the Steel Handles.
(See Assy. Diagram.)

front of the Wooden Wedges (3), Steel Handles (2), and Legs (7). Insert one
Hex Nut (17) onto each Carriage Bolt. (See Assy. Diagram.)
Insert the Brace (5) into the channel at the rear of the Legs (7). Insert two

Insert the Axle (9) through the Wheel (10), and place an Axle Bracket (8) at each

MAINTENANCE AND SERVICING
Damaged tools can fail, causing serious personal injury.
Do not use damaged tools. If abnormal noise or vibration
occurs, have the problem corrected before further use.
Cleaning and maintenance
BEFORE EACH USE, inspect the general condition of the Wheelbarrow. Check
for loose bolts, misalignment or binding of moving parts, cracked or broken parts,
low tire air pressure, and any other condition that may affect its safe operation.
BEFORE EACH USE, 30 PSI. Do
AFTER EACH USE, thoroughly clean the Wheelbarrow using clean water. Do
not use solvents. Then dry.
Periodically add a few drops of lubricating oil to Axle Brackets (8).
WHEN STORING, keep the Wheelbarrow in a clean, dry, safe location out of
reach of children and other unauthorized people.
