Thank you for buying havells appliance.
To enable your product to give you many
years of perfect trouble free service, we
recommend you to carefully follow the in-
structions of the manual.Read all instruc-
tions carefully and keep this manual for
future reference.
• Please use suitable voltage as
marked on the rating label of the
product .
• Remove packaging materials and en-
sure that the OFR (oil filled radiator)
is in proper condition. If in doubt
please contact your dealer or havells
authorized service centre.
• Do not use the appliance for anything
other than intended use.
• Make sure that the outlet voltage cor-
responds to voltage stated on the
rating label of the OFR.
• This appliance is not intended for use
by persons (including children) with
reduced physical, sensory or men-
tal capabilities, or lack of experience
and knowledge, unless they have
been given supervision or instruction
concerning the use of the appliance by
a person responsible for their safety.
• Do not leave the OFR unattended.
Always unplug the OFR while not in
use.

• Avoid usage of extension cords
because the extension cord may over-
heat and cause a risk of fire. Never
use a single extension cord to operate
more than one OFR.
• If the supply cord is damaged, it must
be replaced by the havells authorized
service centre.
• Do not insert or allow fingers or for-
eign objects to enter any ventilation
or exhaust opening as it may cause
an electric shock or fire or damage to
the OFR. Do not block or tamper with
the OFR in any manner while it is in
operation.
• Do not block air intakes or exhaust
in any manner, to prevent fire. Do not
place OFR on soft surfaces, like on
sofa, bed, where openings may be
blocked.
• Always place the OFR on a
stable and flat level surface when in
operation, to avoid the chance of
the OFR overturning.
• This OFR is hot when in use. To avoid
burns, do not touch hot surfaces with
bare skin. Always use handle when
moving the OFR. Keep combustible
materials, such as furniture, pillows,
bedding, papers, clothes and curtains
at least 0.75 M away from the front of
the OFR (when put on the table) and
keep them at least 0.3 M away from
the sides.
• The OFR is not intended for use in wet
or damp locations. Never locate the
OFR where it may fall into a bath tub
or other water containers.
• The appliance is for household indoor
use only. Do not use at outdoors or for
any commercial or industrial purpose.
Note: In order to avoid overheating,
do not cover the OFR.
• The OFR must not be located
immediately below a socket-outlet.
Caution: In order to avoid a hazard
due to inadvertent resetting of the
thermal cutout, this appliance must
not be supplied through an external
switching device, such as a timer, or
connected to a circuit that is regularly
switched on and off by the utility.
Note: OFR with Fan. The
appliance is equipped with
additional function for con-
vection warm air. To activate
this function, simply press the fan
switch in front of the oil heater.
• Do not disassemble the OFR.
• To avoid danger of electric shock,
unplug the OFR from outlet when not
in use or before cleaning. If the power
cord is damaged, it must be replaced
and repaired by authorized service
centre.
Caution: Do not operate without
wheels attached. Do operate the OFR
only in up right position (wheels on
the bottom, controls on the top), any
other position could create a hazard
ous situation.

• Assemble the wing nuts from the
‘U’-shaped bolt provided, attach the
‘U’-shaped bolt to
• The ‘U’- facing flange between first
and second fins ( near the front cover).

• To attach the castor mounting plate to
the OFR body, you should insert the
threaded ends of the ‘U’ bolt in the
holes on the castor mounting plate.
• Screw the wing nuts back to the ‘U’
bolt and fasten the wing nut properly.
Note: Do not over tighten, this may
cause damage to OFR flange.
• Unscrew the spherical nut from the
castor, align the shaft to the hole of
the castor mounting plate, insert the
screw inside the hole and screw the
spherical nut.
• Repeat 2, 3, 4 and 5 on the rear of
OFR for mounting of the rear castors.
Note: The rear castors must be
mounted between the end two fins.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
• The OFR is packed with castors fold-
ed in thermocole packaging. You must
assemble them before operating the
OFR.
• Before using the OFR make sure that
it is on a flat and stable surface. Dam-
age may occur if it is placed on an
uneven surface.
• Set the power switch to ‘0’ (Off)
position and the thermostat to ‘Min’
(low), then insert the plug into a
socket-outlet with good earthing.
• Rotate the thermostat knob clock-
wise to ‘Max’ (high) position and when
the power knob is ‘On’, rotate it as
follows: “low heat”- “medium heat”
–“high heat”, and for power Off, just
rotate power knob to ‘0’ position.
• When your room reaches the
desired temperature, ro-
tate the thermostat knob in anti
clockwise direction until the
pilot light goes out. The thermostat
can now be left at this setting. As soon
as the room temperature has dropped
below the set temperature, the unit
will switch on automatically until the
set temperature has been reached
again. In this way the room tempera-
ture remains constant with the most
economical use of electricity.
• If you want to change the room tem-
perature setting, reset the thermostat
position.
• This OFR includes an overheat
protection system that shuts down the
OFR when parts of the OFR are get-
ting excessively hot.
• To completely shut the OFR down,
turn all the controls to off, and remove
plug from the socket outlet.
• The OFR has built in tip over switch
which has been designed to automati-
cally shut down the OFR when topped
forward or backward or sideways.
When returned to normal upright
position OFR will automatically start
operating again. This is safety feature
to avoid possibility of fire should the
unit be accidentally.
MAINTENANCE
• Always remove the plug from the
socket outlet and allow the OFR to
cool down before cleaning.
• Wipe OFR with a soft damp (not wet)
cloth.
Caution:
Do not immerse the OFR in water.
Do not use any cleaning chemicals
such as detergents and abrasives.
Do not allow the interior to get wet as

this could create a hazard.
• To store away the OFR, wind the cord at cord storage provided at the front of the
OFR.
WARRANTY
• Havells provides a one year warranty for this product from the date of pur-
chase against manufacturing defect(s) due to defective materials or workman-
ship. If the product becomes defective within the warranty period, havells will
repair, free of charge.
• The warranty provisions do not cover failure due to accident, misuse, abuse,
negligence or non observation of local regulations on part of the user. The warranty
provisions do not apply where the appliance has been serviced by a person not
authorised by havells or serviced with non-approved parts thereby causing further
fault/damage to the product.

• Retain the warranty card duly filled in and stamped by authorised
dealer along with original invoice/cash memo.
