SPECIFICATION / IDENTIFICATION OF PARTS
IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS
For house hold use only
Thank you for buying Havells
appliance. To enable your product
to give you many years of perfect
trouble free service, we recommend
you to carefully follow the
instructions of the manual.Read all
instructions carefully and keep this
manual for future reference.
• Remove packaging materials and
ensure that the OFR (oil
filled radiator) is in proper
condition. If in doubt please
contact your dealer or Havells
authorized service centre.
• Do not use the appliance for
anything other than intended use.
• The electrical voltage must
correspond with the voltage stated
on the rating label on the appliance.
• This appliance is not intended
for use by persons (including
children) with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities,
or lack of experience and
knowledge, unless they have been
given supervision or instruction
concerning the use of the
appliance by a person responsible
for their safety.

• Do not leave the OFR unattended.
Always unplug the OFR while not
in use.
• Avoid usage of extension cords
because the extension cord may
overheat and cause a risk of fire.
• If the supply cord is damaged, it
must be replaced by the Havells
authorized service centre.
• Do not insert or allow fingers or
foreign objects to enter any
ventilation or exhaust opening as
it may cause an electric shock
or fire or damage to the OFR.
Do not block or tamper with the
OFR in any manner while it is in
operation.
• Do not block air intakes or exhaust
in any manner, to prevent fire. Do
not place OFR on soft surfaces,
like on sofa, bed, where openings
may be blocked.
• Always place the OFR on a
stable and flat level surface when in
operation, to avoid the chance of
the OFR overturning.
• This OFR is hot when in use. To
avoid burns, do not touch hot
surfaces with bare skin. Always
use handle when moving the OFR.
Keep combustible materials, such
as furniture, pillows, bedding,
papers, clothes and curtains at
least 75 cm away from the front of
the OFR (when put on the table)
and keep them at least 30 cm
away from the sides.
• The OFR is not intended for use
in wet or damp locations. Never
locate the OFR where it may fall
into a bath tub or other water
containers.
• The appliance is for household
indoor use only. Do not
use at outdoors or for any
commercial or industrial purpose.
Note: In order to avoid
overheating, do not cover the OFR.
• The OFR must not be located
immediately below a socket-outlet.
Caution: In order to avoid a
hazard due to inadvertent reset
ting of the thermal cutout, this
appliance must not be supplied
through an external switching
device, such as a timer, or
connected to a circuit that is
regularly switched on and off
by the utility.
Note: OFR with Fan. The
appliance is equipped
with additional function
for convection warm air.
To activate this function, simply
press the fan switch in front of the
oil heater.
• Do not disassemble the OFR.
• To avoid danger of electric shock,
unplug the OFR from outlet when
not in use or before cleaning. If the
power cord is damaged, it must
be replaced and repaired by an
authorized service centre.
Caution: Do not operate without
wheels attached, operate the OFR
only in up right position (wheels
on the bottom, controls on the
top), any other position could
create a hazardous situation.

• Assemble the wing nuts from the
‘U’-shapedboltprovided,attachthe
‘U’-shaped bolt to the ‘U’- facing
flange between first and second fins
(near the front cover).
• To attach the castor mounting
plate to the OFR body, you should
insert the threaded ends of the
‘U’ bolt in the holes on the castor
mounting plate.
• Screw the wing nuts back to the ‘U’
boltandfastenthewingnutproperly.
Note: Do not over tighten, this
may cause damage to OFR lange.
• Unscrew the wing nut from the
castor, align the shaft to the hole
of the castor mounting plate, insert
the screw inside the hole and
screw the wing nut.
• Repeat 2, 3 and 4 on the rear of
OFR for mounting of the rear
castors.
Note: The rear castors must be
mounted between the last two fins.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
• The OFR is packed with castors
folded in thermocole packaging.
You must assemble them before
operating the OFR.
• Before using the OFR make
sure that it is on a flat and
stable surface. Damage may
occur if it is placed on an
uneven surface.
• Set the power switch to ‘0’ (Off)
position and the thermostat to ‘Min’
(low), then insert the plug into a
socket-outlet with good earthing.
• Rotate the thermostat knob
clockwise to ‘Max’ (high) position
and when the power knob is
‘On’, rotate it as follows: “low
heat”- “medium heat” –“high
heat”, and for power Off, just
rotate power knob to ‘0’ (Off)
position.
• If you want to change the room
temperature setting, reset the
thermostat position.
• This OFR includes an overheat
protection system that shuts down
the OFR when parts of the OFR are
getting excessively hot.
• To completely shut the OFR down,
turn all the controls to off position,
and remove plug from the socket
outlet.
• The OFR has built in tilt over switch
which has been designed to
automatically shut down
the OFR when toppled
forward or backward or
sideways. When returned to
normal upright position OFR will
automatically start operating again.
This is a safety feature to avoid
possibility of fire in case units falls
down accidently.
MAINTENANCE
• Always remove the plug from the
socket outlet and allow the OFR to
cool down before cleaning.
• Wipe OFR with a soft damp (not
wet) cloth.
Caution:
Do not immerse the OFR in water.
Do not use any cleaning chemicals
such as detergents and abrasives.
• To store away the OFR, wind the
cord at cord storage provided at
the front of the OFR.

WARRANTY TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Havells India Ltd. (“Company”) hereby offers a limited warranty (“Warranty”) for this Product
purchased in India, against manufacturing defects for a period of two years from the date
of purchase invoice.
To avail Warranty services, customer can log in his requests with the customer care cell
and must present original invoice and wherever possible original Warranty Certificate (duly
signed and stamped by the Selling Dealer) to the Authorised Service Representative.
This Warranty is for repair or replacement of parts only and the decision to either repair or
replace shall be sole discretion of the Company. All recommendations and decisions of
the Company and its Authorised Service Representative shall be binding and complied by
the customer to continue to avail Warranty services.
Warranty of repaired and replaced part shall thereafter continue only for unexpired period
of Warranty and defective spare part shall be property of Company or its Authorized
Service Partner during Warranty period.
Company will not be liable for any delay or failure in performance resulting from causes
beyond its control including non-availability of any part, labour problem, restrictions
and regulations of the government, public movement, war and any other unavoidable/
unforeseen circumstances including any force majeure event, specially vis-à-vis the
import of supplies and raw material. It is clarified that the Company will not be responsible
towards the customer for any economic loss, commercial loss, consequential or resulting
liability, damage to the property or any other harm or loss.
Warranty excludes or does not apply:
• IftheProductisservicedorrepairedbyanypersonotherthantheAuthorizedService
Representative of the Company.
• If customer violates Warranty Terms and Conditions, instruction manual guidelines,
recommendations of Authorised Service Representative and/or operates the Product
otherwise than as per Product specifications.
• IftheserialnumberafxedontheProductisdamaged,erasedortamperedwithorif
Product is refurbished/modified.
• If the Product is operated in conditions otherwise than normal conditions (e.g.,
abnormal voltage surge, extreme environmental conditions etc.).
• IftheProductisusedforanycommercialpurpose.
• Anyharmcausedduetoaccident,negligence,impropermaintenance,mishandling,
tampering, incurred in transit by the customer or which can be attributed to the fault
of the customer.
• Any harm resulting from any unforeseeable circumstances such as force majeure
event etc.
• Anyharmcausedduetoanydefectinanyelectrical/civilinstallation(s),wiringorthird
party products.
• AnydamagetotheProductduetohouseholdpets,rodentoranyotherinsect/animals.
• Consumableparts.
