The Hawking WR254 Wireless Firewall Router is the perfect solution for connecting multiple wired or wireless personal
computers to high-speed Broadband Internet connections or Ethernet-based backbones. Using the IEEE802.11b
wireless standard, the WR254, allows users to access their network or internet without the clutter of cables. The
router's web-based installation is quick and easy -- non-technical users can be up and running in a matter of minutes.
Ideal for sharing internet bandwidth, the WR254 Wireless Firewall Router also serves as an internet Firewall to protect
data from being accessed by outside intruders or hackers. All incoming data packets are analyzed and monitored;
unwanted data is filtered out and recorded as intrusion events. Additionally, the WR254 can be configured to block
internal user access to the internet for management/access control purposes.
Systems Requirement:
• One Ethernet-based broadband internet connection (such as cable modem or ADSL modem)
•At least one PC with Ethernet or wireless Ethernet connection with TCP/IP protocol installed.
• Web browser: Microsoft Internet Explorer 5 or later or Netscape V4.7 or later.
