Green On/Off button

1. Press Green On/Off button to turn the defibrillator on.
2. Follow the prompts.
3. If a shock is required you will be prompted to press the Red Shock button
4. Continue to follow the prompts.

Green Power LED
• LED is bright
–Indicates the
charge left in the
battery is full
• LED flashes slowly
– Indicates the
charge left in the
battery is partially
depleted
• LED flashes fast
– Indicates the
charge left in the
battery
Self Testing Indicator
On commencement of the
daily/monthly self-test, this
LED indicator will turn on;
and automatically turn off
on completion. Results will
be displayed in the LCD.
Low Battery
If the battery is low this
icon will appear:
ORDER NEW BATTERY
System Normal
If all is normal this icon
will appear:
NO ACTION REQUIRED
oK
System Malfunction
If there is a fault this icon
will appear:
CONTACT HEART SAVER
Red LED
flashes when defibrillator
is fully charged.
Indicator Light Prompts

Replacing the Battery
Battery replacement at recommended at 5 years. You can order a new battery for your AED7000 on
our website by clicking here (or go to: https://www.heartsaver.co.nz/products/heart-saver-aed7000-
replacement-battery)
PLEASE NOTE: Use only M&B Part No. CR123A-4x2 non-rechargeable lithium batteries. Use of any
other battery can damage the AED7000.
To replace the battery follow the steps below:
1. Open the battery compartment (located near
the bottom of the backside of the AED7000)
by removing the thumbscrews
2. Slide the battery cover up and off.
3. Locate the 3 battery contact pins in
the bottom-right corner of the battery
compartment
4. Unplug the existing battery by gently pulling
out the white battery connector
5. Connect the new battery by pushing the 3-pin
battery connector onto the contact pins.
6. Place the battery into the battery
compartment and replace the battery cover.
7. Slide the cover back so that the screw holes
are aligned.
8. Replace the thumbscrews
