IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
WHEN USING ANY ELECTRICAL APPLIANCE, BASIC SAFETY
PRECAUTIONS SHOULD ALWAYS BE FOLLOWED.
PLEASE READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY
AND RETAIN FOR FUTURE REFERENCE
IF IN ANY DOUBT ABOUT THE INSTALLATION OR USE OF THIS
PRODUCT, CONSULT A COMPETENT ELECTRICIAN.
Waste electrical products should not be disposed of with household waste. Please recycle where facilities exist.
Check with your local authority or retailer for recycling advice.
Operation
After washing hands shake off excess water droplets.
Place hands approx 100mm under the air outlet, the infra-red sensor will
automatically activate the unit.
During drying, rub your hands to aid the drying time. The nearer your
hands are to the unit, the more efficient the drying will be.
Remove hands when dry.
After 3 seconds, the unit will automatically stop running.
After 60 seconds continuous drying, the unit will stop and will need to be
reactivated if further drying is required.
Cleaning and maintenance
It is recommended that all surfaces of the HS5510
hand dryer are cleaned regularly using a soft cloth
and a non-abrasive/non-caustic cleaning fluid.
If the unit malfunctions, consult a competent electrician
or the Heatstore Technical department for advice
where the unit is under warranty.
Cleaning the filter
The HS5510 is fitted with a removable, cleanable air filter. Should the
performance of the unit deteriorate, or the air flow slows noticeably, the filter
needs cleaning. We suggest the power is switched off during maintenance.
Remove the filter box from behind the door on the base of the machine
– see figure 4. Take out the filter and remove any dust or dirt either by
blowing or with a small hand vacuum. DO NOT WASH THE FILTER.
When clean, replace the filter in its box and replace the box into the hand
dryer and close the door.
