Lesen Sie diese Gebrauchsanweisung sorgfältig durch und
bewahren Sie sie zum späteren Nachschlagen auf.
Zweckbestimmung
Der Kopfbandakku HEINE®mPack UNPLUGGED ist ausschließlich zur
Energieversorgung von HEINE Instrumenten auf speziell hierfür modizierten
Kopfbändern bestimmt. Zur Ladung der im HEINE®mPack UNPLUGGED
enthaltenen Lithium-Polymer Batterie stehen zwei Ladegeräte zur Verfügung:
a) die Wand-Ladestation HEINE®EN50 UNPLUGGED mit zwei Ladeschalen
ist für die Wandmontage vorgesehen.
b) der HEINE®Steckertrafo UNPLUGGED ist als Ladegerät für den mobilen
Betrieb vorgesehen.

Der Primäradapter des Netzteils ist austauschbar, wodurch ein weltweiter
Einsatz möglich ist. Die Bildfolge beschreibt das Vorgehen beim Austausch
des Adapters.
Das HEINE®EN50 UNPLUGGED ist zur Aufstellung in medizinisch
genutzten Räumen außerhalb der Patientenumgebung bestimmt. Es
müssen die Abstände (1,5m) gemäß der IEC60601-1 eingehalten
werden (siehe Abbildung).

Das Gerät sollte niemals an den folgenden Stellen angebracht oder
aufbewahrt werden, da es hier zu Betriebsschäden kommen kann:
a. die stark Feuchtigkeit bzw. Kondenswasser ausgesetzt sind
b. die besonderen Umwelteinüssen ausgesetzt sind
c. die ständigen Vibrationen unterliegen
d. die starken Temperaturschwankungen unterliegen
e. im Freien
Wandmontage des HEINE®EN50 UNPLUGGED:
Montieren Sie mit Hilfe der vier mitgelieferten Schrauben den Monta-
gewinkel an die Wand. Das EN50 UNPLUGGED befestigen Sie mit den
beiden Schrauben auf dem Montagewinkel.

Inbetriebnahme von HEINE®mPack UNPLUGGED
Montieren des mPack UNPLUGGED am Kopfband des Instruments:
Zuerst entfernen Sie die hintere Segmentabdeckung am Kopfband. Dazu
halten Sie das Kopfband im Bereich der hinteren Segmentabdeckung mit der
linken Hand und ziehen die Segmentabdeckung mit dem rechten Daumen
nach rechts.
Dann montieren Sie das mPack UNPLUGGED auf dem hinteren Teil des
Kopfbandes indem Sie mit der linken Hand das Kopfband unterstützen,
das mPack UNPLUGGED auf das Kopfband setzen, so dass die LEDs links
angeordnet sind. Mit einem leichten Druck des linken Daumens rastet das
mPack UNPLUGGED am Kopfband sicher ein. Schließen Sie den Helligkeits-
regler am mPack UNPLUGGED an.
Vor der ersten Inbetriebnahme des mPack UNPLUGGED müssen die
Batterien aufgeladen werden.
Sie können das mPack UNPLUGGED entweder über den Steckertrafo
UNPLUGGED oder über die Ladestation EN50 UNPLUGGED laden.
Neue Batterien sind nur teilgeladen. Das mPack UNPLUGGED muss aufge-
laden werden, bevor es erstmals mit dem Instrument verwendet wird.
Die Anzeige des LED-Indikators zeigt erst nach dem ersten vollständigen
Lade- und Entladezyklus den richtigen Ladezustand an. (Gilt auch beim
Batterie-Austausch).
Damit die LED-Anzeige am mPack UNPLUGGED die tatsächliche Kapa-
zität der Batterie korrekt anzeigen kann, ist ein kompletter Entlade- und
Ladezyklus erforderlich. Dazu betreiben Sie das mPack UNPLUGGED
mit Ihrem Instrument, bis die Batterie vollständig entladen ist, dann
laden Sie das mPack UNPLUGGED bis der Ladevorgang komplett
abgeschlossen ist. (Gilt auch beim Batterie-Austausch).
Inbetriebnahme
Laden über HEINE®EN50 UNPLUGGED (Ladestation zur Wandmontage):
Schließen Sie den Steckertrafo des EN50 UNPLUGGED an einer geeigneten
Steckdose an (Netzspannung beachten). Die grüne LED am Steckertrafo
leuchtet. Das Laden des mPack UNPLUGGED ist in der Ladeschale I oder
Ladeschale II möglich. Setzen Sie dazu das mPack UNPLUGGED mit leich-
tem Druck in die Ladeschale ein, bis es sicher einrastet. Die Ladeschale I ist
zur Aufbewahrung des kompletten Instruments und zum Laden des mPack
UNPLUGGED vorgesehen. Das Instrument wird automatisch ausgeschaltet,
sobald das komplette Instrument in die Ladeschale I eingehängt wird. Durch
leichtes Drücken rastet das mPack UNPLUGGED in die Ladeschale ein und
ein sicheres Laden ist gewährleistet. Nach ca. 1 Sek. startet ein Lauicht,
das die Ladebereitschaft anzeigt. Während des Ladens blinken die LEDs.
(Weitere Hinweise siehe Kapitel „LED-Anzeige“.) Wenn Sie das Instrument
aus der Ladestation entnehmen und über den Helligkeitsregler einschalten,
leuchten bei voller Batteriekapazität alle fünf LEDs. Mit sinkender Kapazität
erlöschen nacheinander die LEDs. Beginnt die orange LED zu blinken, sollten
Sie die Batterie wieder auaden.
Sie können jederzeit auch nach kurzer Betriebsdauer das Instrument in der
Ladestation ablegen. Um die Lebensdauer der Batterie zu erhöhen, ndet ein
erneutes Auaden nur bei einer Restkapazität von weniger als 75% statt.
Laden über den Steckertrafo UNPLUGGED:
Beachten Sie, dass nur bei ausgeschaltetem Helligkeitsregler ein Laden
über den Steckertrafo UNPLUGGED möglich ist.
Schließen Sie den Steckertrafo UNPLUGGED an einer geeigneten Steckdose
an (Netzspannung beachten). Die grüne LED am Steckertrafo leuchtet.
Schließen Sie dann das Kabel an der rechten oder linken Buchse des mPack
UNPLUGGED an. Der Ladevorgang beginnt. Sobald der Ladevorgang kom-
plett abgeschlossen ist, erlöschen alle LEDs. Ziehen Sie das Ladegerät ab.
Sie können nun das Instrument über den Helligkeitsregler einschalten.
Für jede Ladebetriebsart gilt:
Der Ladevorgang ist abhängig von der Restkapazität der Batterie und dauert
max. ca. 2 Stunden. Die Ladeelektronik im mPack UNPLUGGED schaltet
bei voller Batterie automatisch ab, alle LEDs erlöschen. Ein Überladen der
Batterie ist nicht möglich.
Direktbetrieb:
Falls die Batterie im mPack UNPLUGGED keine Kapazität mehr hat und
Sie weiterhin mit dem Instrument arbeiten möchten ist ein direkter Betrieb
möglich. Dazu schließen Sie den Steckertrafo UNPLUGGED an der rechten
oder linken Buchse an und schalten das Instrument über den Helligkeits-
regler ein.
Während des „Direktbetriebs“ wird die Batterie nicht gleichzeitig
geladen.
LED-Anzeige
Laden:
Während des Ladevorganges werden die LEDs ein- und ausgeschaltet
(Lauicht), im Betrieb leuchten sie dauerhaft (siehe Betriebsanzeige). Sind
alle LEDs aus, ist der Ladevorgang beendet, die Batterie hat volle Kapazität.
Betrieb des mPack UNPLUGGED:
Die Anzahl der leuchtenden LEDs zeigt den Kapazitätszustand der Batterie,
die volle Betriebsdauer wird erreicht, wenn mind. 4 LEDs leuchten. Wenn die
gelbe LED blinkt, müssen Sie das mPack UNPLUGGED auaden. Sind alle
LEDs erloschen, ist die Batterie vollständig entladen.
Hygienische Wiederaufbereitung
Anweisungen zur hygienischen Wiederaufbereitung müssen entsprechend
nationaler Normen, Gesetze und Richtlinien beachtet werden.
Einstufung gemäß KRINKO: unkritisch
Spaulding Classication USA: noncritical
Trennen Sie das Gerät vor der Aufbereitung von der Spannungs-
versorgung.
Nehmen Sie bei Kontaminationsverdacht eine hygienische
Aufbereitung vor.
Die beschriebenen Maßnahmen zur hygienischen Wiederaufbereitung
ersetzen nicht die jeweils für den Betrieb gültigen Vorschriften.
HEINE Optotechnik gibt nur die in dieser Gebrauchsanweisung
genannten Mittel und Verfahren frei.
Die hygienische Wiederaufbereitung ist nur von einer Person mit
ausreichender hygienischer Sachkompetenz durchzuführen.
Beachten Sie die Angaben der Hersteller der Aufbereitungsmittel.
Verwenden Sie keine Sprühdesinfektion, keine tropfend nassen oder
stark schäumenden Tücher. Bereiten Sie nicht maschinell auf.
Die Kontaktoberächen am mPack UNPLUGGED und die Kontaktstifte
im EN50 UNPLUGGED nicht mit spitzen oder scharfkantigen Gegen-
ständen beschädigen.
Vorgehensweise
Reinigen und desinzieren Sie das Gerät manuell (Wischreinigung und
Wischdesinfektion).
Empfohlene Mittel
Reinigungsmittel: enzymatisch (z.B. neodisher®MediClean)
Desinfektionsmittel: quartäre Ammoniumverbindungen (z.B. Mikrobac®Tissues)
oder Wasserstoffperoxid (z.B. PREempt®Wipes)
Wartung
Der EN50 UNPLUGGED und das Schaltnetzteil benötigen keine regelmäßige
Wartung.
Das Schaltnetzteil darf nicht geöffnet werden (Risiko eines elektrischen
Schlages).
Beim mPack UNPLUGGED können die Li-Pol Ladebatterien ausgetauscht
werden, bitte dazu die Hinweise „Wechseln der Batterie“ beachten.
Für das Gerät schreiben wir als Hersteller keine sicherheitstechnische
Kontrolle (STK) gemäß MPBetreib V, § 6 Sicherheitstechnische Kontrollen,
Bezug Anlage 1 vor.
Die zu erwartende Betriebslebensdauer beträgt 7 Jahre.
Service
Das Produkt ist servicefrei.
Wechseln der Batterie
Im Laufe der Zeit verschleißen Batterien allmählich und erfordern längere
Ladezeiten, dies ist normal. Wenn Sie die Batterien regelmäßig laden und
eine Verkürzung der Betriebsdauer oder eine Verlängerung der Ladezeit
feststellen, ist es möglicherweise an der Zeit die Batterie auszutauschen.
Das Einsetzen der neuen HEINE Li-Pol Ladebatterie erfolgt einfach durch
den Austausch des Gehäusedeckels vom HEINE mPack UNPLUGGED.
Verwenden Sie nur die Original HEINE Li-Pol-Ladebatterie.

Trennen Sie die Stromversorgung zum mPack UNPLUGGED indem Sie es
aus der Ladeschale nehmen bzw. den Steckertrafo UNPLUGGED abziehen.
Lösen Sie die acht Schrauben des Gehäusedeckels vom mPack UNPLUGGED
mit dem mitgelieferten Schraubenzieher und nehmen Sie den Deckel ab – die
Li-Pol Ladebatterie ist im Deckel integriert. Achten Sie darauf, dass keine
Schrauben oder andere Gegenstände in das Gerät fallen. Schützen Sie die
Elektronik-Baugruppen vor Elektrostatischen Entladungen (ESD), vermeiden
Sie deshalb ein Berühren der Baugruppen. Bevor Sie den neuen Li-Pol
Gehäusedeckel auf das mPack UNPLUGGED Gehäuse setzen, ziehen Sie
die Schutzkappe an dem dreipoligen Batteriekontakt ab. Verschließen Sie
das Gehäuse wieder mit den acht Schrauben, achten Sie dabei darauf, dass
keine Kabel beschädigt werden.
Hinweise zum ordnungsgemäßen Entsorgen erhalten Sie bei Ihrer lokalen
Recyclingstelle.
Schließen Sie die Batterie nicht kurz. Ein unbeabsichtigter Kurzschluss
kann auftreten, wenn Sie z.B. durch einen metallischen Gegenstand
(Geldstück, Büroklammer, Schmuck etc.) die Kontakte auf dem Batterie-
gehäuse berühren.
Entsorgung
Das Produkt muss einer getrennten Sammlung von Elektro- und
Elektronikgeräten zugeführt werden. Es sind die jeweils landesspezi-
schen Entsorgungsregeln zu beachten.
Allgemeine Warnhinweise
Überprüfen Sie das Gerät vor jedem Gebrauch hinsichtlich seiner
einwandfreien Funktion. Verwenden Sie das Gerät nicht, wenn Sie
Beschädigungen feststellen.
Verwenden Sie das Gerät nicht in feuer- oder explosionsgefährdeter
Umgebung (z.B. durch Sauerstoff oder Anästhesiemitteln).
Modizieren Sie das Gerät nicht.
Verwenden Sie nur original HEINE Teile, Zubehör und Stromquellen.
Lassen Sie Reparaturen nur von qualiziertem Fachpersonal durch-
führen.
Das Produkt darf nicht in die Nähe starker Magnetfeldern wie z.B. MRI
gebracht werden.
Ladebatterien von Fremdhersteller dürfen nicht mit dem HEINE EN50
UNPLUGGED sowie dem HEINE Schaltnetzteil geladen werden.
Bei sichtbaren Schäden am Gehäuse oder an der Leitung das Netzgerät
nicht benutzen.
Allgemeine Hinweise
Die Garantie für das gesamte Produkt erlischt bzw. gilt auch nicht, bei
Verwendung von nicht originalen HEINE Produkten, nicht originalen
Ersatzteilen, und wenn Eingriffe (insbesondere Reparaturen oder
Modikationen) von Personen vorgenommen wurden, die nicht von
HEINE autorisiert sind. Nähere Informationen hierzu erhalten Sie unter
www.heine.com.
Verwenden Sie nur die Original HEINE Schaltnetzteile zum Anschluss
an das örtliche Stromnetz. Die auf dem Typenschild der Schaltnetzteile
angegebene Nennspannung muss mit der örtlichen Netzspannung
übereinstimmen.
Ziehen Sie den Netzstecker, wenn Sie das Gerät längere Zeit nicht be-
nutzen, es reinigen, oder eine Störung auftritt. Nicht-Leuchten der grünen
Power-LED am Steckertrafo UNPLUGGED und EN50 UNPLUGGED
garantiert keine Spannungsfreiheit.
Zur Wandmontage der Ladestation EN50 UNPLUGGED beachten Sie
die Montagehinweise.
Die Kapazität der mPack UNPLUGGED-Ladebatterien nimmt mit zu-
nehmendem Betrieb ab. Dies ist ein normaler Alterungsvorgang der sich
nicht verhindern lässt. Ein sorgfältiger Gebrauch der Ladebatterien kann
sich jedoch schonend auf eine Alterung auswirken. Wir empfehlen daher,
das angeschlossene Instrument nach der Anwendung auszuschalten
und die Ladebatterien unabhängig vom Ladezustand aufzuladen.
Die LED am Steckertrafo UNPLUGGED und EN50 UNPLUGGED zeigt die
Betriebsbereitschaft am Netzteil an.

Elektromagnetische Verträglichkeit

und sind nach den in den Begleitpapieren enthaltenen EMV-Hinweisen zu
installieren und in Betrieb zu nehmen. Tragbare und mobile HF-Kommunika-
tionseinrichtungen können ME-Geräte beeinflussen.
Dieses Gerät kann Funkstörungen hervorrufen oder den Betrieb von
Geräten in der näheren Umgebung stören. Es kann notwendig werden,
geeignete Abhilfemaßnahmen zu treffen wie z. B. eine neue Ausrichtung,
eine neue Anordnung des ME-Geräts oder die Abschirmung.
Die Verwendung von anderem Zubehör, anderer Wandler und Leitungen
als den angegebenen, mit Ausnahme der Wandler und Leitungen, die der
Hersteller des ME-Geräts oder ME-Systems als Ersatzteile für interne
Komponenten verkauft, können zu einer erhöhten Aussendung oder einer
reduzierten Störfestigkeit des ME-Geräts führen.
Das Gerät darf nicht unmittelbar neben oder mit anderen Geräten ge-
stapelt angeordnet verwendet werden. Wenn der Betrieb nahe oder mit
anderen Geräten gestapelt erforderlich ist, sollte das ME-Gerät beobachtet
werden, um seinen bestimmungsgemäßen Betrieb in dieser benutzten
Anordnung zu überprüfen.

for future reference.
Intended Use
The HEINE®mPack UNPLUGGED battery is intended exclusively for supplying
power to HEINE instruments on headbands specially designed for the purpose.
There are two chargers available for charging the Lithium-polymer battery
inside the HEINE®mPack UNPLUGGED:
a) the HEINE®EN50 UNPLUGGED, with two charging cradles, is intended for
wall mounting.
b) the HEINE®UNPLUGGED plug-in transformer is intended as a charger for
mobile operation.
For U.S. only:
Federal law restricts this device to sale by or on the order of a
Physician or Practitioner.

The primary plug is interchangeable. This allows a world wide use.
The procedure of changing the plugs is as per the pictures.
Take care to mount the charging station outside the patient environment.
There must be adhered to the distances (1.5m) in accordance with
IEC60601-1 (see figure).

The device should never be operated or even stored at places listed
below, because this could lead to operating failures:
a. which are heavily exposed to moisture or where water condensing
may occur
b. which are exposed to special environmental conditions
c. which are subject to constant vibrations
d. which are subject to high temperature uctuations

Wall mounting the HEINE®EN50 UNPLUGGED:
Use the four provided screws to x the mounting bracket to the wall.
Place the EN50 UNPLUGGED on top of the mounting racket and fasten
with the two top screws.

Setting up the HEINE®mPack UNPLUGGED
Fitting the mPack UNPLUGGED to the instrument headband:
First remove the rear segment cover of the headband. To do this, hold the
headband in the region of the rear segment cover with your left hand and pull
the segment cover to the right with your right thumb.
Then t the mPack UNPLUGGED to the rear part of the headband by
supporting the headband with your left hand and placing the mPack
UNPLUGGED on the headband so that the LEDs are arranged to the left.
The mPack UNPLUGGED will engage securely with a little light pressure from
your left thumb. Connect the brightness control to the mPack UNPLUGGED.
The batteries must be charged before using the mPack UNPLUGGED for the
rst time.
You can charge the mPack UNPLUGGED either from the UNPLUGGED
plug-in transformer or from the EN50 UNPLUGGED charging station.
When supplied, new batteries are only partially-charged. The mPack
UNPLUGGED must be charged before the instrument is used for the rst
time. The LED indicator corresponds to the actual battery capacity only after
a full charge and discharge cycle. (Also applies when changing the battery.)
To enable the LED display of the mPack UNPLUGGED to show the
true battery capacity, the unit must rst be completely discharged and
then recharged. Switch on the instrument connected to the mPack
UNPLUGGED until the battery is completely discharged, then recharge
the mPack UNPLUGGED until charging is completed. (Also applies
when changing the battery).
Operation
Charging via the HEINE®EN50 UNPLUGGED (wall-mounted charger):
Connect the plug-in transformer to a suitable mains outlet (pay attention to
the mains supply voltage). The green LED on the plug-in transformer will light.
The mPack UNPLUGGED can be charged in charging cradle I or charging
cradle II. Using gentle pressure, insert the mPack UNPLUGGED into the
charging cradle until it engages securely. Charging cradle I is intended for
parking the complete instrument and for charging the mPack UNPLUGGED.
The instrument is automatically switched off as soon as the complete instru-
ment is parked in charging cradle I. The mPack UNPLUGGED will engage
in the charging cradle with light pressure, thus ensuring safe charging. After
approx. 1 second, the LEDs start to light in sequence. During charging, the
LEDs blink. (See the “LED display” chapter for further information.) When you
remove the instrument from the charging station and switch it on with the
brightness control, all ve LEDs will light if the battery is fully charged. As the
level of charge falls, the LEDs go out in turn. If the orange LED starts to ash,
you should recharge the battery.
You can park the instrument in the charging station at any time, even after
short periods of operation. To increase the working life of the battery,
recharging only occurs if the residual charge is less than 75%.
Charging by means of the UNPLUGGED power unit:
Please note that charging with the UNPLUGGED mains transformer is
only possible when the brightness control is switched off.
Connect the plug-in transformer to a suitable mains outlet (pay attention to
the mains supply voltage). The green LED on the plug-in transformer will
light. Next connect the cable to the right or left connector on the mPack
UNPLUGGED. The charging process begins. All LEDs will go out as soon
as the charging process is complete. Disconnect the charger. You can now
switch the instrument on by means of the brightness control.
The following applies to either charging method:
The charging process is dependent on the residual charge of the battery
and requires a maximum of approximately 2 hours. The charging process
switches off automatically when the battery is full, all LEDs go out.
Overcharging of the battery is not possible.
Direct operation:
Direct operation is possible if there is no capacity in the mPack
UNPLUGGED battery but you want to continue to work with the instrument.
To do this, simply connect the UNPLUGGED plug-in transformer to the
connector on the left or right hand side and switch the instrument on with
the brightness control.
The battery will not be charged at the same time during “direct operation”.
LED display
Charging:
During charging the LEDs operate sequentially, in use they remain switched
on. If all LEDs are out, the charging process is complete and the battery is
fully charged.
Operating the mPack UNPLUGGED:
The number of LEDs illuminated indicates the level of charge in the battery.
The full operating period is achieved when at least 4 LEDs are lit. If LED is
ashing, you should charge the mPack UNPLUGGED. If all the LEDs are out,
the battery is fully discharged.
Hygienic Reprocessing
Instructions on hygienic reprocessing must be adhered to, based on national
standards, laws and guidelines.
Classication according to KRINKO: noncritical
Spaulding Classication USA: noncritical
Before reprocessing, disconnect the device from the power source.
In the event of suspected contamination, carry out hygienic
reprocessing of the instrument.
The described reprocessing measures do not replace the specic rules
applicable for the establishment.
HEINE Optotechnik only approves the reprocessing agents and
procedures named in these instructions for use.
The reprocessing is to be carried out by persons with adequate hygienic
expertise.
Observe the instructions of the manufacturer of the reprocessing media.
Do not use any spray disinfectant, or any dripping-wet or heavily-foaming
cloths. Do not reprocess automatically.
Do not damage the contact surfaces on the mPack UNPLUGGED or
the contact pins in the EN50 UNPLUGGED charger with pointed or
sharp-edged objects.
Procedure
Clean and disinfect the instrument manually by wiping.
Recommended agents
Cleaning agent: enzymatic (e.g. neodisher®MediClean)
Disinfectant agent: quaternary ammonium compounds (e.g. Mikrobac®Tissues)
or hydrogen peroxide (e.g. PREempt®Wipes)
Maintenance
EN50 UNPLUGGED and power supply does not require regular maintenance.
The power supply must not be opened. (Risk of electrical shock).
Li-Polymer batteries can be replaced in mPack UNPLUGGED, please read
the chapter “changing the battery”.
We as manufacturer do not stipulate a safety inspection in accordance with
§ 6 Medical Device Operator Ordinance (MPBetreibV), ref. attachment 1, for
the HEINE product.
The expected operational life is 7 years.
Service
EN50 UNPLUGGED and mPack UNPLUGGED do not require regular service.
Changing the battery
In the course of time, batteries gradually wear out and require longer
charging times; this is normal. If you charge the batteries regularly and notice
a shortening of the operating time or an extension of the charging time, it is
probably time to replace them. The new Li-Pol battery can be inserted simply
by opening the lid of the mPack UNPLUGGED.
Use only original HEINE Li-Pol rechargeable batteries.
Isolate the mPack by removing it from the charger cradle or by unplugging
the UNPLUGGED mains transformer. Unscrew the eight screws in the lid of
the mPack UNPLUGGED with the screwdriver supplied and remove the lid,
which contains the Li-Pol battery. Make sure that no metal objects such as

screws fall into the unit. Protect the electronics from electrostatic discharge
(ESD), by avoiding contact with electronic components. Before replacing
the lid, remove the protective cap from the three-pole battery contacts. Re-
attach the lid with the eight screws, making sure that no wires are damaged
when doing so.
The battery should be disposed of correctly and should be completely
discharged before disposal.
Do not short-circuit the Li-Pol battery. This can occur when a metal
object such as a coin or paper clip connects the two battery contacts
together. This can damage the battery.
Disposal
The product must be recycled as separated electrical and electronic
devices. Please observe the relevant state-specic disposal regulations.
General Notes and Warnings
Check the correct operation of the device before use! Do not use the
device if there are visible signs of damage.
Do not use the device in re- or explosive risk area (e.g. oxygen
saturated or anesthetic environments).
Do not modify the device.
Use only original HEINE parts, spare parts, accessories and power
sources.
Repairs shall only be carried out by qualied persons.
The device is not allowed to be entered into strong magnetic elds like
MRI scanners.
It is not allowed to charge batteries from other manufacturer with
HEINE EN50 UNPLUGGED or HEINE power supply.
Take care that the housing does not get damaged. Damaged batteries
must not be used.
Safety Notes
The warranty for the entire product is invalidated if non-genuine HEINE
products or non-original parts are used and if repairs or modications
are made to the device by persons not authorized by HEINE. For more
information, please visit www.heine.com.
Use only an original HEINE plug-in transformer to connect the unit to the
local mains supply. Make sure that the local mains voltage is the same
as the nominal voltage shown on the identication plate of the HEINE
plug-in transformer.
Unplug the mains connector if you will not be using the unit for a long
period if you are cleaning it or if a fault occurs. An unlit green power LED
on the UNPLUGGED transformer and the EN50 UNPLUGGED does not
guarantee a current free state.
Pay attention to the mounting instructions when wall-mounting the
EN50 UNPLUGGED charging station.
The capacity of the mPack UNPLUGGED Battery can reduce with
increasing use. This is a normal procedure with time and inevitable.
Careful use of the battery can reduce this effect. We recommend that
the instrument is use should be switched off after use and the battery
recharged regardless of its state of charge.
The LED on the UNPLUGGED and EN50 UNPLUGGED transformers
indicates the operational readiness of the power supply.

Utilisation prévue
Le HEINE®mPack UNPLUGGED est exclusivement destiné à l’approvision-
nement en énergie des instruments HEINE et a été spécialement adapté aux
bandeaux. Concernant le chargement de la batterie Li-polymère contenue
dans le HEINE®mPack UNPLUGGED, deux chargeurs se trouvent à
disposition :
a) le chargeur mural HEINE®EN50 UNPLUGGED avec deux compartiments
de chargement est destiné à être xé au mur.
b) le transformateur à che HEINE®UNPLUGGED est conçu comme un
chargeur pour utilisation mobile.

Mise en service HEINE®mPack UNPLUGGED
Montage du mPack UNPLUGGED sur le bandeau de l’instrument :
Tout d’abord, enlevez le cache situé à l’arrière du bandeau. Pour cela, tenez
le bandeau au niveau du cache avec la main gauche et retirez le cache avec
le pouce droit.
Fixez ensuite le mPack UNPLUGGED à l’arrière du bandeau tout en
maintenant le bandeau avec la main gauche. Les diodes doivent se trouver
du côté gauche. Enclenchez le mPack UNPLUGGED dans le bandeau en
appuyant légèrement avec le pouce gauche. Branchez le régulateur
d’intensité au mPack UNPLUGGED.
Les batteries doivent être chargées avant la mise en marche de l’appareil
mPack UNPLUGGED.
Vous pouvez charger le mPack UNPLUGGED au moyen du transforma-
teur à ches UNPLUGGED ou au moyen de la station de charge EN50
UNPLUGGED.
Les batteries neuves ne sont que partiellement chargées. Le mPack
UNPLUGGED doit être chargé avant la première utilisation avec l’instrument.
L’indicateur LED n’indique l’état de charge exact qu’après le premier cycle
de charge-décharge complet. (Ceci vaut également en cas de remplacement
de la batterie.)
An que la diode située sur le mPack UNPLUGGED puisse indiquer
la véritable capacité de la batterie, il est nécessaire d’effectuer un
cycle de charge-décharge complet. Pour cela, utilisez l’appareil mPack
UNPLUGGED à l’aide de votre instrument jusqu’à ce que la batterie soit
complètement déchargée, puis soumettez le mPack UNPLUGGED à un
cycle de charge complet. (Ce procédé s’applique également en cas de
remplacement de la batterie).
Mise en service
Chargement au moyen de EN50 UNPLUGGED (Station de charge destinée
à être xée au mur) :
Branchez le transformateur à ches à une prise adaptée (Respecter la tension
du secteur). La diode verte du transformateur s’allume. Il est possible de
charger le mPack UNPLUGGED au moyen du support I ou du support II.
Insérez le mPack UNPLUGGED dans le support en appuyant légèrement,
jusqu’à ce qu’il ’enclenche. Le support I est destiné à l’insertion de l’instrument
complet et au chargement du mPack UNPLUGGED. Une fois inséré dans
le support I, l’instrument est automatiquement mis hors-circuit. Le mPack
UNPLUGGED s’enclenche dans le support de charge par simple pression,
garantissant ainsi un chargement sûr. Après 1 seconde env., une lumière se
déplace, indiquant ainsi que le chargement est prêt à être effectué. Les
diodes clignotent durant le chargement. (Pour de plus amples informations,
se reporter au chapitre « Afchage diode ».) Lorsque vous retirez l’instrument
de la station de charge et que vous utilisez le régulateur d’intensité, les cinq
diodes s’allument, indiquant ainsi que la batterie est pleine. Quand la capacité
diminue, les diodes s’éteignent les unes après les autres. Si la diode orange
se met à clignoter, cela signie que vous devriez recharger la batterie.
Vous pouvez à tout moment insérer l’instrument dans la station de charge,
même après une courte durée d’utilisation. An d’augmenter la durée de vie
de la batterie, le chargement suivant ne doit être effectué que si la capacité
restante de la batterie est inférieure à 75%.
Chargement au moyen du transformateur à ches UNPLUGGED :
Noter qu’une mise en charge par l’intermédiaire du transformateur à
che UNPLUGGED n’est possible que lorsque le régulateur d’intensité
lumineuse est en position d’arrêt.
Branchez le transformateur à ches à une prise adaptée (Respecter la tension
du secteur). La diode verte du transformateur à ches s’allume. Branchez
ensuite le câble à la prise femelle droite ou gauche du mPack UNPLUGGED.
Le processus de charge commence. Dès que le processus de charge est
complètement terminé, toutes les diodes s’éteignent. Retirez le chargeur.
Vous pouvez désormais mettre l’instrument en marche via le régulateur
d’intensité.
S’applique à tout type de charge :
Le processus de charge dépend de la capacité restante de la batterie et dure
au maximum 2 heures. Le processus de charge du mPack UNPLUGGED
s’arrête automatiquement dès que la batterie est pleine; toutes les diodes
s’éteignent. Une surcharge de la batterie n’est pas possible.
Utilisation directe :
Si la batterie contenue dans le mPack UNPLUGGED est déchargée et que
vous souhaitez continuer à utiliser l’instrument, il est possible de l’utiliser de
manière directe. Pour cela, branchez le transformateur à ches UNPLUGGED
à la prise femelle droite ou gauche et mettez l’instrument en marche via le
régulateur d’intensité.
La batterie n’est pas chargée durant « l’utilisation directe ».
Afchage diode
Charge :
Pendant la charge, les LED clignotent séquentiellement, sinon elles restent
allumées (stand-by). Lorsque toutes les diodes sont éteintes, cela signie
que le processus de charge est terminé et que la batterie est complètement
chargée.
Utilisation du mPack UNPLUGGED :
Le nombre de diodes allumées indique la capacité de la batterie, la durée
maximale d’utilisation étant atteinte lorsqu’au moins 4 diodes sont allumées.
Si la diode jaune clignote, il est nécessaire de recharger le mPack
UNPLUGGED. Si toutes les diodes sont éteintes, la batterie est entièrement
déchargée.
Retraitement hygiénique
Les instructions sur le retraitement hygiénique doivent être respectées,
conformément aux normes, lois et directives nationales.
Classication selon KRINKO : non critique
Spaulding Classication USA : noncritical
Avant de procéder au traitement, débrancher l’appareil de l’alimentation
électrique.
En cas de soupçons de contamination, procéder à un traitement
hygiénique.
Les mesures décrites pour le traitement hygiénique ne remplacent pas
les prescriptions applicables à l’exploitation de l’instrument.
HEINE Optotechnik n’autorise que les produits et procédés mentionnés
dans le présent mode d’emploi.
Le traitement hygiénique doivent être réalisés uniquement par une
personne possédant des compétences techniques sufsantes en
matière d’hygiène.
Respecter les indications du fabricant du produit de traitement.
Ne pas utiliser la désinfection par aspersion, ni de chiffons trempés ou
qui produisent une mousse importante. Ne pas traiter en machine.
Ne pas endommager les surfaces de contact du mPack UNPLUGGED
et les ches de contact du EN50 UNPLUGGED avec des objets pointus
ou à arêtes vives.
Marche à suivre
Nettoyer et désinfecter l’appareil à la main (nettoyage par essuyage et
désinfection par essuyage).

paragraphe 6 Contrôles techniques de sécurité, annexe 1.
Leur durée de vie est estimée à 7 ans.
Entretien
Le produit est sans entretien.
Remplacement de la batterie
Les batteries s’usent au fur et à mesure du temps et doivent donc être
rechargées plus longtemps. Si vous rechargez les batteries régulièrement
et que la durée de fonctionnement diminue ou que le temps de charge
augmente, il se peut que la batterie doive être changée. L’insertion de la
nouvelle batterie Li-Pol HEINE s’effectue tout simplement par l’échange
du couvercle du boîtier du mPack UNPLUGGED HEINE :

N’utilisez que la batterie Li-Pol HEINE d’origine.
Coupez l’alimentation du mPack UNPLUGGED lorsque vous le retirez du
support de charge, ou plus précisément lorsque vous retirez le chargeur
UNPLUGGED. Enlevez les huit vis du couvercle du mPack UNPLUGGED
à l’aide du tournevis fourni et enlevez le couvercle – la batterie Li-Pol est
intégrée au couvercle. Assurez-vous qu’aucune vis ou autre objet ne tombe
dans l’appareil. Protégez les modules électroniques des décharges
électrostatiques (ESD), pour cela évitez tout déplacement des composants.
Avant de remettre le couvercle avec la nouvelle batterie Li-Pol sur le boîtier
du mPack UNPLUGGED, retirez le lm de protection sur les bandes de
contact à trois pôles. Refermez le boîtier à l’aide des huit vis tout en vous
assurant qu’aucun câble n’est endommagé.
Pour obtenir des informations concernant l’élimination correcte des produits,
veuillez vous adresser au centre de recyclage.
Ne court-circuitez pas la batterie. Un court-circuit peut par exemple se
produire lorsque vous mettez un objet métallique (pièce de monnaie,
trombone, bijou, etc.) en contact avec la batterie.
Élimination des déchets
Le produit doit être mis au rebut dans le cadre du tri sélectif des appareils
électriques et électroniques. Il convient de respecter les lois en vigueur
concernant l’élimination des déchets.
Consignes générales
Verier avant chaque utilisation le bon fonctionnement de l’appareil. Ne
pas utiliser l’appareil s’il est endommage.
L’utilisation dans un environnement à risque d’incendie ou d’explosion,
p. ex. en présence d’oxygène ou de produits anesthésiques, n’est pas
autorisée.
Ne pas modier l’appareil.
Utiliser uniquement des pièces, accessoires et sources de courant
d’origine HEINE.
Coner les réparations uniquement à des techniciens qualiés.
Le produit ne doit pas être utilisé au voisinage de champs magnétiques
forts, IRM par exemple.
Ne pas charger les batteries rechargeables d’autres fabricants avec le
HEINE EN50 UNPLUGGED ou le bloc d’alimentation HEINE.
En cas de dégâts visibles sur le boîtier ou sur le câble, ne pas utiliser le
bloc d’alimentation.
Remarque générales
La garantie du produit dans son ensemble sera nulle et de nul effet
en cas d’utilisation de produits et pièces de rechange autres que
les produits et pièces de rechange d’origine HEINE ainsi qu’en cas
d’interventions (en particulier des réparations ou des modications)
faites par des personnes non autorisées par HEINE. Vous trouverez
davantage d’informations à ce sujet sur le site www.heine.com.
Utiliser les blocs d’alimentation de marque HEINE pour le raccordement
au réseau électrique local. La tension nominale indiquée sur la plaque
signalétique du bloc d’alimentation doit correspondre à la tension du
réseau local.
Débranchez la che secteur si vous n’utilisez pas l’appareil pendant
une période prolongée, pour le nettoyer ou en cas d’anomalie. Une
LED verte qui ne s’allume pas sur letransformateur à che HEINE®
UNPLUGGED et EN50 UNPLUGGED ne garantit pas la mise hors
tension.
Pour le montage mural du chargeur EN50 UNPLUGGED, observer les
instructions de montage.
La capacité des batteries rechargeables mPack UNPLUGGED diminue
au fur et à mesure de l’utilisation. Il s’agit d’un processus normal de
vieillissement qui est inévitable. Cependant, une utilisation précaution-
neuse des batteries rechargeables peut ralentir ce vieillissement. Nous
recommandons donc d’éteindre l’instrument raccordé à l’appareil après
utilisation et de recharger les batteries rechargeables quel que soit leur
état de charge.
Le voyant LED sur letransformateur à che HEINE®UNPLUGGED
et EN50 UNPLUGGED indique que le bloc d’alimentation est prêt à
l’emploi.

Compatibilité électromagnétique
Les appareils électromédicaux (appareils EM) sont soumis à des mesures de

Uso previsto
El HEINE®mPack UNPLUGGED debe utilizarse exclusivamente para el
suministro eléctrico de los instrumentos HEINE en cintas craneales
modicadas con este n.
Para cargar la batería de iones de litio que contiene el HEINE®mPack
UNPLUGGED hay disponibles dos cargadores:
a) el transformador de pared HEINE®EN50 UNPLUGGED con dos bases de

b) el transformador de enchufe HEINE®UNPLUGGED está diseñado como

Puesta en marcha HEINE®mPack UNPLUGGED
Montaje del mPack UNPLUGGED en la cinta craneal del instrumento:
En primer lugar, retire la cubierta del segmento posterior de la cinta craneal.
Para ello, sujete la cinta craneal en la zona de la cubierta del segmento
posterior con la mano izquierda y tire de la cubierta hacia la derecha con el
pulgar derecho.
A continuación, monte el mPack UNPLUGGED en la parte posterior de la
cinta craneal mientras sostiene la cinta con la mano izquierda. Coloque el
mPack UNPLUGGED en la cinta craneal de modo que los LED estén colo-
cados a la izquierda. Presione ligeramente con el pulgar izquierdo para
encajar el mPack UNPLUGGED en la cinta craneal. Incorpore el regulador
de luminosidad al mPack UNPLUGGED.
Antes de poner en marcha el mPack UNPLUGGED por primera vez, deberá
cargar por completo las baterías.
Puede cargar el mPack UNPLUGGED mediante el transformador de
clavija UNPLUGGED o la estación de carga EN50 UNPLUGGED.
Las baterías nuevas no están completamente cargadas. Es necesario cargar
el mPack UNPLUGGED antes de utilizarlo por primera vez con el instrumento.
La pantalla del indicador LED no mostrará el verdadero nivel de carga hasta
que no se efectúe un ciclo completo de carga y descarga. (Lo mismo ocurre
al cambiar la batería).
Para que los LED del mPack UNPLUGGED puedan mostrar correcta-
mente la capacidad real de la batería, será necesario realizar un ciclo
completo de descarga y carga. Para ello, utilice el mPack UNPLUGGED
con su instrumento hasta que la batería se haya descargado por com-
pleto y después cargue el mPack UNPLUGGED hasta que haya nalizado
el proceso de carga. (Aplicable también a los cambios de batería).
Puesta en marcha
Cargar mediante el EN50 UNPLUGGED (estación de carga para montaje
mural):
Conecte el transformador de clavija a un enchufe apropiado (tenga en cuenta
la tensión de red). Se iluminará el LED verde del transformador de clavija. El
mPack UNPLUGGED se puede cargar en el módulo I o II. Coloque el mPack
UNPLUGGED en el módulo de carga presionando ligeramente hasta que
quede encajado. El módulo I está diseñada para albergar todo el instrumento
y cargar el mPack UNPLUGGED. El instrumento se desconectará automática-
mente en cuanto esté perfectamente encajado en el módulo de carga I.
Presione ligeramente para encajar el mPack UNPLUGGED en el módulo de
carga y garantizar así una carga segura. Aprox. en 1 segundo se iluminará
una luz secuencial, que indica el estado de carga. Durante el proceso de
carga, los LED parpadean. (Más información en el capítulo “Indicadores
LED”). Al retirar el instrumento de la estación de carga y conectarlo mediante
el regulador de luminosidad, los cinco LED se iluminarán si la capacidad de
la batería está al máximo. A medida que disminuya la capacidad, los LED se
irán apagando uno a uno. Cuando el LED naranja empiece a parpadear, será
necesario volver a cargar la batería.
Podrá colocar el instrumento en la estación de carga siempre que desee,
incluso tras haberlo usado durante poco tiempo. Para prolongar la vida útil
de la batería, recárguela únicamente cuando el nivel de capacidad restante
sea inferior al 75%.
Cargar mediante el transformador de clavija UNPLUGGED:
Tenga en cuenta que el aparato sólo se podrá cargar mediante el
transformador de clavija UNPLUGGED si el regulador de luminosidad
está apagado.
Conecte el transformador de clavija a un enchufe apropiado (tenga en cuenta
la tensión de red). Se iluminará el LED verde del transformador de clavija.
Conecte el cable al casquillo derecho o izquierdo del mPack UNPLUGGED.
Comenzará el proceso de carga. En cuanto haya nalizado el proceso de
carga, se apagarán todos los LED. Retire el cargador. Ya puede conectar el
instrumento mediante el regulador de luminosidad.
Indicaciones de carga (independientemente del tipo):
El proceso de carga depende de la capacidad restante de la batería. Dura
como máximo 2 horas aprox. Cuando se ha recargado por completo la
batería, el sistema electrónico de carga del mPack UNPLUGGED se
desconecta automáticamente y se apagan todos los LED. No es posible
sobrecargar la batería.
Funcionamiento directo:
En caso de que se haya agotado la capacidad de la batería del mPack
UNPLUGGED y desee seguir trabajando con el instrumento, podrá usarlo
en funcionamiento directo. Para ello, conecte el transformador de clavija
UNPLUGGED al casquillo derecho o izquierdo y encienda el instrumento
mediante el regulador de luminosidad.
Durante el “funcionamiento directo” no se recarga la batería.
Indicadores LED
Carga:
Durante la carga las LEDs se encienden y apagan secuencialmente, mientas
que en operación quedan encendidos (indicación de marcha). Si todos los
LED están apagados, signica que el proceso de carga ha terminado y la
batería ha alcanzado su capacidad máxima de carga.
Utilización del mPack UNPLUGGED:
El número de LEDs que se iluminan indica el nivel de carga de la batería; el
tiempo de funcionamiento completo se alcanza cuando se iluminan al menos
4 LEDs. Si parpadea el LED amarillo, cargue el mPack UNPLUGGED. Si se
apagan todos los LEDs, la batería está completamente descargada.
Reacondicionamiento higiénico
Deben observarse las instrucciones sobre reacondicionamiento higiénico
según las normas, leyes y directivas nacionales.
Clasicación según KRINKO: no crítico
Spaulding Classication USA: noncritical
Antes de la limpieza, desconectar el dispositivo de la fuente de tensión.
Efectúe una depuración higiénica si cree que el aparato ha podido
resultar contaminado.
Las medidas descritas para el reprocesado higiénico no sustituyen
a las disposiciones respectivas aplicables para el funcionamiento.
HEINE Optotechnik autoriza solo los medios y procedimientos
mencionados en las presentes instrucciones de uso.
La reprocesado higiénico solo podrán realizarlas personas con
la competencia necesaria en materia de higiene.
Siga las indicaciones del fabricante del agente limpiador.
No utilice ninguna desinfección a base de aerosol, ni paños tan
húmedos que goteen o que creen mucha espuma. No efectúe una
limpieza mecánica.
Tenga cuidado de no dañar las supercies de contacto del mPack
UNPLUGGED ni las clavijas de contacto del EN50 UNPLUGGED con
objetos alados o puntiagudos.
Procedimiento
Limpie y desinfecte el aparato manualmente (limpieza y desinfección con
un paño).
Productos recomendados
Producto de limpieza: enzimática (p. ej. neodisher®MediClean)
Desinfectante: aminas cuaternario (p. ej. Mikrobac®Tissues)
o peróxido de hidrógeno (p. ej. PREempt®Wipes)
Mantenimiento
El EN50 UNPLUGGED y la fuente de alimentación conmutada no precisan
un mantenimiento regular.
No abra la fuente de alimentación conmutada (riesgo de descarga
eléctrica).
En el caso del mPack UNPLUGGED, pueden cambiarse las baterías de
polímero de litio; siga las indicaciones descritas en “Cambio de la batería“.
Para el producto de HEINE, no prescribimos un control relacionado con la
seguridad (STK) de acuerdo con MPBetrieb V, § 6 Controles relacionados
con la seguridad, sistema de referencia 1.
La duración de vida útil esperada es de 7 años.
Revisión
Este producto no requiere revisiones.
Cambio de la batería
Con el paso del tiempo, las baterías se desgastan gradualmente y precisan
mayores tiempos de carga. Esto es normal. Si carga las baterías de forma
periódica y nota un acortamiento del tiempo de funcionamiento o una prolon-
gación del tiempo de carga, puede que haya llegado el momento de cambiar
la batería. Para colocar la nueva batería recargable de iones de litio HEINE,
deberá cambiar la tapa de la carcasa del HEINE®mPack UNPLUGGED.
Utilice únicamente la batería de iones de litio HEINE original.

Corte el suministro eléctrico del mPack UNPLUGGED extrayéndolo del módulo
de carga o desconectándolo de la fuente de alimentación UNPLUGGED. Aoje
los ocho tornillos de la tapa de la carcasa del mPack UNPLUGGED con el
destornillador suministrado y retire la tapa. La batería recargable de iones de
litio está integrada en la tapa. Asegúrese de que ni los tornillos ni otros objetos
caigan dentro del aparato. Proteja los módulos electrónicos frente a descargas
electroestáticas. Evite, por tanto, cualquier contacto con estos módulos.
Antes de colocar la nueva tapa de la carcasa de iones de litio en el mPack
UNPLUGGED, retire el capuchón protector del contacto tripolar de la batería.
Vuelva a cerrar la carcasa con los ocho tornillos. Tenga cuidado de no dañar
ningún cable.
Para averiguar cómo puede desechar correctamente los productos, acuda a
su punto local de reciclaje.
Evite los cortocircuitos en la batería. Se pueden producir cortocircuitos
accidentales, por ejemplo, al rozar con un producto metálico (moneda,
clip, joya, etc.) los contactos de la carcasa de la batería.
Gestión de residuos
Deberá disponerse del producto en un contenedor especial para
aparatos eléctricos y electrónicos. Seguir las normas de cada país sobre
gestión de residuos.
Notas generales
Comprobar el correcto funcionamiento del aparato antes de cada uso.
No utilizar, si se detectan danos.
No utilizar en zonas con peligro de incendio o explosión, debido p.ej.
al oxígeno o al anestésico utilizado.
No modique el aparato.
Utilice exclusivamente piezas, accesorios y fuentes de tensión
originales de HEINE.
Las reparaciones solo deben ser efectuadas por personal especializado
cualicado.
No coloque el producto cerca de campos magnéticos potentes, como
p.ej. MRI.
No cargue baterías de otros fabricantes con el EN50 UNPLUGGED
HEINE ni la fuente de alimentación conmutada HEINE.
Si la carcasa o el cable presentan daños visibles, no utilice la fuente de
alimentación.
Notas generales
La garantía para la totalidad del producto se extinguirá y quedará invali-
dada si se usan productos y piezas de repuesto que no sean originales
de HEINE, e igualmente si personas no autorizadas por HEINE mani-
pulan el producto (en especial reparaciones o modicaciones). Puede
encontrar más información al respecto en www.heine.com.
Utilice solo la fuente de alimentación conmutada original HEINE para
conectar el dispositivo a la red eléctrica local. La corriente nominal que
se indica en la placa de características de la fuente de alimentación
conmutada debe coincidir con la tensión de red local.
Desenchufe el aparato si no va a utilizarlo durante algún tiempo, para
limpiarlo o si se produce una avería. Que no se ilumine el LED verde
de encendido del transformador de enchufe UNPLUGGED y EN50
UNPLUGGED conmutada no garantiza que no haya corriente.
Para el montaje sobre pared de la estación de carga EN50 UNPLUGGED,
siga las indicaciones de montaje.
La capacidad de las baterías del mPack UNPLUGGED va disminuyendo
con el uso. Es un proceso de envejecimiento normal e inevitable.
No obstante, el uso cuidadoso de las baterías las protegerá del enveje-
cimiento. Por ello, recomendamos apagar el instrumento conectado
después de su uso y cargar las baterías independientemente del nivel
de carga.
El LED del transformador de enchufe UNPLUGGED y EN50
UNPLUGGED indica si la fuente de alimentación conmutada está
lista para el uso.

Compatibilidad electromagnética

Messa in funzione HEINE®mPack UNPLUGGED
Montaggio dell’accumulatore mPack UNPLUGGED sulla fascia dello
strumento:
Per prima cosa rimuovere il segmento di copertura posteriore del caschetto.
Per fare questo, tenere la fascia nell’area della copertura posteriore con la
mano sinistra e tirare la copertura verso destra con il pollice destro.
Montare quindi l’accumulatore mPack UNPLUGGED sulla parte posteriore
della fascia, tenendo con la mano sinistra la fascia e posizionando mPack
UNPLUGGED sulla fascia in modo che il LED si trovi a sinistra. Con una
leggera pressione del pollice sinistro agganciare l’accumulatore alla fascia.
Collegare il cavo del regolatore della luminosità al mPack UNPLUGGED.
Prima di mettere in funzione per la prima volta mPack UNPLUGGED, le
batterie devono essere caricate.
Caricare mPack UNPLUGGED mediante il trasformatore a rete

deve essere caricato prima di essere utilizzato per la prima volta con lo
strumento. L’indicatore LED visualizza il corretto stato di carica solo dopo
il primo ciclo di carica e scarica completo. (Anche in caso di sostituzione
della batteria).
Afnché l’indicatore a LED sul mPack UNPLUGGED segnali il livello
effettivo di carica della batteria, la batteria prima deve essere scaricata
completamente e poi ricaricata. A tal ne, accendere lo strumento con-
nesso con mPack UNPLUGGED nché la batteria non è completamente
scarica, quindi ricaricare mPack UNPLUGGED no a caricamento totale.
(questo deve essere fatto anche nel caso di sostituzione della batteria).
Messa in funzione
Caricamento mediante EN50 UNPLUGGED (stazione di carica per
montaggio a parete):
Collegare il trasformatore a rete ad una presa adatta, prestando attenzione
alla tensione della rete. Il LED verde sul trasformatore si accende. È possibile
caricare l’accumulatore mPack UNPLUGGED nel comparto di ricarica I o nel
comparto II. Esercitando una leggera pressione, introdurre mPack
UNPLUGGED nel comparto di ricarica nché non sia correttamente innestato.
Il comparto di ricarica I è predisposto per riporre lo strumento completo e
per caricare mPack UNPLUGGED. Lo strumento si spegne automaticamente
non appena lo si aggancia nel comparto di ricarica I. Esercitando una leggera
pressione sul mPack UNPLUGGED, questo si innesterà nel comparto di carica
per una corretta ricarica. Dopo circa un secondo il LED inizia a lampeggiare
in sequenza e indica che è pronto per la carica. Durante l’operazione di carica,
i LED lampeggiano (per maggiori informazioni, vedere il capitolo ”Indicatori a
LED“) Quando si toglie lo strumento dalla stazione di carica a parete e lo si
accende mediante il regolatore di luminosità, tutti e cinque i LED si illuminano
se la batteria è completamente carica. Quando il livello di carica diminuisce,
i LED si spengono uno dopo l’altro. Quando incomincia a lampeggiare il LED
arancione, è necessario ricaricare la batteria.
É possibile collocare lo strumento nella stazione di carica in ogni momento,
anche dopo un breve utilizzo. Al ne di aumentare la durata della batteria,
una nuova ricarica viene effettuata soltanto se il livello di carica residua è
inferiore al 75%.
Caricamento mediante il trasformatore a rete UNPLUGGED:
Attenzione: la carica mediante il trasformatore a rete UNPLUGGED è
possibile solo se il regolatore di luminosità è spento.
Collegare il trasformatore a rete a una presa adatta, prestando attenzione alla
tensione della rete. Il LED verde del trasformatore si accende. Poi collegare il
cavo alla presa destra o alla presa sinistra del mPack UNPLUGGED. La
ricarica ha inizio. Una volta conclusa la ricarica, tutti i LED niscono di
lampeggiare. Scollegare il caricatore. A questo punto è possibile accendere
lo strumento mediante il regolatore di luminosità.
Per ogni tipo di carica vale quanto segue:
La durata della carica dipende dalla carica residua della batteria e richiede
circa 2 ore massimo. Quando la batteria è completamente carica, l’elettronica
del mPack UNPLUGGED si spegne automaticamente, tutti i LED si spengono.
Non è pertanto possibile una sovraccarica della batteria.
Uso diretto:
Nel caso che la batteria nel mPack UNPLUGGED fosse totalmente scarica
e fosse necessario continuare a lavorare con lo strumento, è possibile un
uso diretto a rete dello strumento. Per fare questo, è sufciente collegare il
trasformatore a rete UNPLUGGED nella spina destra o sinistra e accendere
lo strumento mediante il regolatore di luminosità.
Durante l’uso diretto a rete, la batteria non si ricarica.
Indicatori a LED
Carica:
Durante la fase di carica i LED funzionano in sequenza; durante l’uso restano
accesi. Se tutti i LED sono spenti, ciò signica che l’operazione di carica si è
conclusa e che la batteria è completamente carica.
Funzionamento dell’mPack UNPLUGGED:
Il numero di LED accesi indica la capacità della batteria; la durata operativa
completa viene raggiunta quando almeno 4 LED sono accesi. Se il LED giallo
lampeggia, è necessario ricaricare l’mPack UNPLUGGED. Se tutti i LED sono
spenti, la batteria è completamente scarica.
Igienizzazione
È necessario attenersi alle avvertenze relative all’igienizzazione sulla base
delle norme, leggi e direttive nazionali.
Classicazione secondo KRINKO: non critico
Spaulding Classication USA: noncritical
Prima della preparazione sterile staccare l’apparecchio dall’alimentatore.
Se si sospetta una contaminazione, procedere ad una igienizzazione.
Le misure descritte per l’igienizzazione non sostituiscono l’applicazione
delle norme di funzionamento valide di volta in volta.
HEINE Optotechnik autorizza esclusivamente le sostanze e le procedure
indicate nelle presenti istruzioni per l’uso.
Fare eseguire la pulizia e la disinfezione solo da una persona con sufci-
ente competenza in materia di igiene.
Attenersi alle istruzioni dei produttori delle sostanze di preparazione.
Non utilizzare disinfettanti spray, panni umidi gocciolanti o molto schiu-
mosi. Non eseguire l’igienizzazione automatica.
Non danneggiare le superci di contatto sull’accumulatore mPack
UNPLUGGED e quelli sul caricatore EN50 UNPLUGGED con oggetti
appuntiti o taglienti.
Procedura
Pulire e disinfettare l‘apparecchio manualmente (pulizia e disinfezione per
stronamento).
Sostanza consigliata
Detergente: enzimatica (ad es. neodisher®MediClean)
Disinfettante: a base di sali d’ammonio quaternario (ad es. Mikrobac®Tissues)
o perossido di idrogeno (ad es. PREempt®Wipes)
Manutenzione
L’EN50 UNPLUGGED e l’alimentatore a commutazione non richiedono
interventi di manutenzione regolari.
L’alimentatore a commutazione non può essere aperto (rischio di scossa
elettrica).
Nell’mPack UNPLUGGED le batterie litio-polimeri possono essere sostituite;
a questo scopo rispettare le indicazioni „Sostituzione della batteria“.
Per il prodotto HEINE noi, in quanto produttori, non prescriviamo alcun
controllo di sicurezza tecnica (STK) conformemente all‘MPBetreib V, § 6,
controlli di sicurezza tecnica, riferimento allegato 1.
La durata di funzionamento prevista è di 7 anni.
Assistenza
L’apparecchio non richiede interventi di assistenza.
Sostituzione delle batterie
Con il passare del tempo, le batterie si usurano gradualmente e richiedono
tempi di ricarica più lunghi. Qualora, caricando regolarmente le batterie, si
noti una riduzione dell’autonomia dell’apparecchio o un allungamento del
tempo di ricarica, probabilmente è necessario sostituirle. L’inserimento di
una nuova batteria HEINE Li-Pol viene effettuato mediante la sostituzione del
coperchio dell’accumulatore HEINE®mPack UNPLUGGED:
Utilizzare solo batterie originali HEINE Li-Pol.
