AS-P-601 - Power Solution 1000 8 Outlet Surge Protector.
Description:
The AS-P-601 Power Solution 1000 offers 2160-joule surge suppression with a 15A circuit breaker to protect
against dangerous system overload. Using four kinds of filter circuitry to isolate and protect audio, video, digital
and high current equipment, the Power Solution 1000 provides overload protection with a 120V/15A electrical
rating. Use the front panel LCD display to monitor voltage and amperage levels. Overload protection acts like an
additional circuit breaker, shutting down the unit and connected equipment in the event of a catastrophic surge.
This system is built to last with sturdy metal housing, and is UL approved.
EMI/RFI Shielding
EMI/RFI line noise filtering helps components perform safely at their peak, while 3 built in Isolated Filter Banks
(Analog, Digital, High Current) eliminate interference between connected components.
Remote 12V DC Trigger Operation
The Power Solution 1000 can be controlled remotely by another power solution equipped with a remote trigger
out feature.
Remote AC Operation
The Remote AC function on enables you to turn your Power Solution on or off using a preamplifier or receiver
equipped with a switched AC power outlet, providing one-touch power control over all components.
LCD/LED Diagnostics
A front panel LCD display and 8 diagnostic LEDs alert user to input voltage levels, component load levels and 4
operational conditions (power, protection, grounding, selected outlets).

orimplied, except asrequired by law, including warranties ofmerchantability and fitness for aspecific purpose,
however all such implied warranties, ifany, are limited tothe duration ofthis specific limited product warranty.
Some states/countries do not allow limitations onhow long an implied warranty lasts, sothe above limitations
may not apply to you.
Helios®/Metra shall not be liable, under any circumstances, for incidental, indirect, special, consequential or
multiple damages as a result of the sale or use of this surge suppressor. Some states/countries do not allow the
exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply
to you.

Both the warranty on the surge protector itself and the connected equipment expanded limited repair or
replacement agreement, requires that the purchaser register the surge protector with Helios® as set forth
below.
Limited Product Warranty:
This isa limited warranty, subject tothe conditions, limitations and exclusions identified herein. Helios® warrants
tothe original purchaser ofthis Helios® surge suppressor for a period of three years from the date ofpurchase,
that the surge suppressor shall be free ofdefects in design, material andworkmanship, and Helios® will repair or
replace, atits option, any defective unit.
Caution: Helios® surge suppressors have LED indicators that show their surge protection status. An illuminated
LED indicates that the unit isproviding surge protection. Due tothe frequency and severity of electrical storms in
some areas ofthe country, the consumer should visually check the indicators periodically to make sure that
cumulative surges have not overwhelmed the unit’s protection capabilities.
Conditions and Limitations:
1. Proof of purchase is required (i.e. the sales receipt of other proof of payment)
2. Damage caused by accidents, abuse, misuse ormodification ofthe surge suppressor will render this warranty null
and void.
3. Transient Voltage Surge Suppression devices using MOV (Metal Oxide Varistor) technology are designed to
sacrifice themselves in order toprotect the connected equipment. The proper functioning ofthis surge suppressor
during a catastrophic surge event like lightning may result inthe depletion ofthe units protection capabilities. This
is not a defect indesign, material orworkmanship. Therefore, ifthe unitisknown to have been active during
lightning strikes over a period oftime, the unit may nolonger perform toits full capacity. It isdesigned for
infrequent surges. Ifthere are multiple storms orcatastrophic events such as a hurricane, tornado, etc., and the
consumer haswarning ofthe impending event, all electrical equipment and connections that generate any flow of
electricity should be disconnected for the safety of the home, the consumer and the products.
Expanded Limited Replacement/Repair Agreement forConnected Equipment:
In addition to the warranty extending tothe surge protection unit itself, Helios®/Metra Electronics Corporation
will, in accordance with the terms set forth above, agree to repair or replace the electronic equipment properly
connected to the unitin accordance with the instructions for useaccompanying the unit. This means for example,
that a protection unit hasa limited number ofdevices that can be attached and if other electrical device
connectors are used to expand the number ofdevices attached to the surge protector, this isa misuse ofthe
product and no warranty or expanded connected equipment warranty will apply.
Helios® warrants tothe original purchaser ofthis surge suppressor that itwill atits option, pay the fair market
value of, repair, orreplace, any home entertainment equipment which isdamaged bya transient surge while
properly connected through the Helios® surge suppressor toa properly wired and grounded AC power line. The
Helios® surge suppressor must have been designed for the particular application.
This warranty is limited to the extent that the maximum replacement value for all connected appliances and
