ES400 Quickstart
1 - Connect the mo uel to the HP100 motherboar . Be careful to proper align the connectors and not
to force them.
1 - Schließen Sie as Mo ul an ie Hauptplatine HP100 an. Achten Sie darauf, die Stecker richtig
auszurichten und nicht zu verbiegen.

2 -Connect the lights or the evices to be powere to the connectors
shown in the figure. he common wire (3, positive) must be connected
to connector no. 1, the wire that selects the device to be powered (4,
negative) must be connected to connector no. 2.
2 - Schließen Sie ie Geräte an ie in er Abbil ung gezeigten
Anschlüsse an. Das gewöhnliche Haupt-Kabel (3, positiv) muss mit dem
Anschluss Nummer 1 verbunden sein, das Kabel, das zum Gerät führt (4,
negativ), muss mit dem Anschluss Nummer 2 verbunden sein.

3- To connect LEDs it is necessary to insert a resistor in series (if not
already included in the accessory).

4 -The normally active outputs are outputs A (initially on, turn off if
selected), the normally inactive outputs are outputs B (initially off, turn
on if selected).

ausgeschaltet), die normalerweise inaktiven Ausg nge sind die Ausg nge B (zun chst ausgeschaltet ,

5 - WARNING: The maximum current that can be supplied by the module depends on the supply
volta e of the HP100 motherboard:
For 12V DC power supply: 500 mA (about 25 coloured LEDs together on)
For 16V AC power supply or DCC bus: 300 mA (about 10-15 coloured LEDs together on)
Exceedin these values can lead to overheatin and fire risks.
5 - WARNUNG: Die maximale Stromleistun , die vom Modul eliefert werden kann, hän t von
der Versor un sspannun des HP100-Motherboards ab:
Für 12V DC Stromversorgung: 500 mA (ca. 25 farbige LEDs leuchten gleichzeitig).
Für 16V AC-Netzteil oder DCC bus: 300 mA (ca. 10-15 farbige LEDs leuchten gleichzeitig).
Eine Überschreitun dieser Werte kann zu Überhitzun und Brand efahr führen.
5 - ATTENTION : Le courant maximum qui peut être fourni par le module dépend de la tension
d'alimentation de la carte mère HP100 :
Pour alimentation 12V DC : 500 mA (environ 25 DELs allumées simulanément).
Pour alimentation 16V AC ou avec DCC: 300 mA (environ 10-15 DELs allumées simulanément).
Le dépassement de ces valeurs peut entraîner des risques de surchauffe et d'incendie.
