Caution – unplug the power supply from the main power before connecting any cables as this can damage the products.
Caution – avoid looking directly into the led light source at close range for your own safety.
Any people installing this product should comply with local standards and regulations and must be qualified for the handling of
electrical equipment.
• Do not attempt to install or use the product until installation instructions and safety labels are fully understood.
This product is designed for indoor and outdoor usage.
• Ensure product operates within the specified temperature range.
• Do not attempt to open the product.
• Do not use the product if the power cables are damaged.
• Only use product for specified voltage.
• Always maintain connection to ensure waterproofing.
• If the product has been subjected to drastic temperature variances, for example, following transportation,
do not connect the fixture until it has reached room temperature, as moisture condensation may cause electric
shock and product damages.
• When installing the products and system power supplies, please ensure they will not be exposed to moisture and extreme heat
(and direct sunlight for outdoor products). Besides, keep a clean operating environment for the fixtures and system power .
• Any non-compliance of the Installation Guide will void the Hera warranty.
Hera warrants the products for a period of five (5) years from date of purchase, provided that
the purchased items are used under the conditions stated in this user manual.

Explanation
DS-2, DS-4, DS-8 products are used to protect devices and split outputs which uses DMX 512. Splitter's
main objective is to protect data clearly that makes DMX signals work properly. Splitter can amplify
weakened signal to original level. DMX may break down due to bad cabling and bad connection. DS
series splitter can amplify signal to desired level.
· DS-2 2Ch. and DS-4 4Ch. have Full isolated feature and DS-8 8Ch. has Full isolated DMX Splitter /Booster features.
It has 90 ~ 264VAC 50/60HZ Universal AC input 3-Pin VDE input
All DMX inputs are performed with Neutrik® 3 Pin XLR connectors.
· They isolated input signal both optically and inductively and transmit them to output.
· Owe to full isolated feature, even one of the output breaks down, others will not be affected.
· Each input and output signal can be monitored by LEDs on device.
· DS-2 can be installed as wall mount, DS-4 and DS-8 can be installed as rack mount and wall mount.
· It has aluminum sheet metal with powder finishing body.
· Power packs are produced in RAL9005 black color and have black iron screws but according to
customers' demand fixture can be painted to different RAL color.
