NAVCOMM
is a Plug & Play device, with Bluetooth connectivity. Power supply: 12V or
USB connection, so it requires electrical installation in the vehicle.
NAVCOMM
is fully waterproof, making it able to withstand rain and dust.

1. DESCRIPTION
2. INSTALATION
NAVCOMM
is designed for installation on standard 22mm handlebars.
You must create an adequate space (minimum 23mm) between the grip and the
switch handlebar of your motorcycle.
Depending on your driving style (standing or sitting) rotate the
NAVCOMM
until you
find a comfortable position to access all controls
Use the provided flange and the two M4 screws to fix the
NAVCOMM
to the
handlebar. Requires a 2.5mm allen key (not provided)
Position the power cable correctly, passing it along with the cables of the original
switch control. Replace the clamps that hold the cable.
Make sure that the power connection is made in a socket with a contact key. Never
carry out the installation directly to the battery. In the case of making the connection
via USB, make sure that the USB power supply is properly connected to a power
supply with an ignition key.
3. USE
NAVCOMM
is a completely independent device. It does not need any additional
application or configuration. Being a Plug&Play device, after the
NAVCOMM
connection it will always be ready for use.

3.1 First Connection
Once the installation of the device is done, we will proceed to make the first
connection. For this we will give power to
NAVCOMM
through the ignition key. The
LED will flash blue and red successively.
We perform a search in the Bluetooth menu in available devices, and
HESANAV
will
appear. Click on it for pairing. If you ask for confirmation, we will accept.
Once the connection is made, the led will flash in Cyan color (Mode 1)
After the first connection,
NAVCOMM
will automatically connect to any previously
linked device without having to do anything, just have the bluetooth of the device
connected and
NAVCOMM
powered
(NOTE: Since the
NAVCOMM
does not run on batteries or battery, it will never go into sleep state)
3.2 LED color & Mode
NAVCOMM
has 3 modes of use. The current mode is easily recognizable by the
color of the led. The colors are the following:
1.
CYAN __________
Mode 1 ______________ DMD2
2.
BLUE __________
Mode 2 ______________ GPS NAVIGATION
3.
RED __________ Mode 3 ______________
ROADBOOK / MUSIC
When starting
NAVCOMM
it is always in mode 1.
To change the mode, simply press the button (1) for a few seconds until the led
remains fixed, indicating the new mode with the color.
Being in mode 3, when changing modes the cycle becomes mode 1.
In normal operation,
NAVCOMM
will always flash slowly indicating the current
mode.
3.3 Operation modes
All the functions described in the 3 modes below, do not need double clicks or complex
access methods.
All functions with a click act once, and by holding down they act repeatedly as long as the
application allows it.

Mode 1 _________ DMD2 (Cyan LED)
With the Directional Joystick (4), we can move across the screen up and down, left
and right.
By pressing button (1), we select the option that is active at that moment.
Keeping the button (1) pressed inwards, we change from the lower menu to the
control screen and vice versa
The buttons (2) and (3) are special functions that will only work on certain screens
or applications of the active system. For example, in Roadbook mode, with these
buttons we will add or subtract meters in the trip. In GPS mode, we will zoom + and
zoom -
The colored button (1) can also have some special function in certain cases.
Mode 2 __________ GPS NAVIGATION (Blue LED)
NAVCOMM
is optimized to work with OSMAND. However, it is capable of
maintaining the main functions such as moving the map and zooming in most
applications currently in use.
With the directional joystick (4) we will move the map in the 4 directions. Leaving
the lever pressed, a constant movement will be made
By pressing the joystick (4) inwards, we will center the map on the current position
With the buttons (2) and (3) we will zoom + and zoom –respectively
The color button (1) changes the orientation of the map.
Mode 3 ___________ROADBOOK / MUSIC (Red LED)
To simplify the operation of
NAVCOMM
, the Roadbook and Music functions have been
unified in the same mode... which greatly simplifies the operation of the system and avoids
having to remember cumbersome menus and options
Music Apps
Joystick (4) up or down we go to the next or previous song
Joystick (4) in, play / pause
Button (2) and (3) volume up and down
Roadbook Apps
In most applications, the controls to control the roadbook will be the following:

Button (2) and (3) raise and lower the meters of the trip

However, for more complete and configurable applications, the following functions can be
added to the previous controls:

Joystick (4) right or left, adds or subtracts meters in trip 2 (configurable)
Joystick (4) inwards, reset trip 2 (configurable)
